In dieser Arbeit wurde die progenetische Evolution der Dinophilidae innerhalb der Eunicida („Polychaeta“, Annelida) sowie der Ursprung weiterer vermutlich progenetischer Arten des Euniciden-Taxons „Dorvilleidae“ (Parapodrilus psammophilus und Microdorvillea sp. n.) mit Hilfe molekularer Daten untersucht. Ein etwa 1800 bp langer Abschnitt der 18S-rDNA wurde erfolgreich von den in Tabelle 1 aufgeführten Arten (s. S. 5-7), mit Ausnahme von Ophryotrocha puerilis und Pusillotrocha akessoni, sequenziert.
