This survey of SPARC member Web sites examines how information on collection changes and scholarly communication issues is presented. Abstract:
Abstract The harsh effects and costly losses due to erosion-corrosion in the oil and gas industry have made studying aspects of erosion, corrosion, and, the additive of the two, erosion-corrosion a high priority in recent years. Corrosion and the combined effects of erosion-corrosion have been more prevalent in recent years primarily as a result of a combination of improved oil collection techniques where CO2 is injected into the reservoirs, as well as increased development of crude with higher quantities of H2S and CO2, from drilling in deeper wells.1 Corrosion prediction has become more impo

Abstract:
Traditional approaches to excavation design for sites with radionuclide-contaminated soils generally involve work plans with fixed excavation footprints and post-excavation verification sampling. Recent advancements in real-time data collection systems, combined with data loggers, location control systems, and secure project-support Web sites, allow for an alternative, more precise approach to excavation design and implementation. In this mode, traditional work plans are replaced with dynamic work plans. Excavation efforts are organized by lift, with real-time dig face screening performed and

Amphibians are a Vital Sign indicator for monitoring long-term ecosystem health in seven national park units that comprise the Great Lakes Network. We present here the results for 2019 amphibian monitoring at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore (SLBE). Appendices contain tabular summaries for six years of cumulative results. The National Park Service Great Lakes Inventory and Monitoring Network established 10 permanent acoustic amphibian monitoring sites at SLBE in 2013. This dataset includes analytical isotope data (2H and18O) for monthly precipitation samples collected at 13 western, northwestern, central, and southwestern Montana sites. Collection duration varies and some sites are not currently active. This dataset spans from April 2017 through December 2023. Eight of these sites were started in 2018 as a pilot network.

Abstract:
Snow is an important resource for both communities and ecosystems of the Northeastern United States. Both flood risk management and water supply forecasts for major municipalities, including New York City, depend on the collection of snowpack information. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to summarize all of the snowpack data from ground-based networks currently available in the Northeast. The collection of snow-depth and snow water equivalent information extends back several decades, and there are over 2,200 active sites across the region. Sites are distributed across the entire range o
