Abstract College biological laboratory safety is an important part of biological safety. In addition to the safety problems of various reagents and equipment, there are also the protection and waste treatment of various plants, experimental animals, microorganisms and human tissues and organs used in the experiment. In college biological laboratories, the cultivation of independent safety awareness of laboratory personnel is weaker than that of biological enterprises, which leads to two kinds of frequent problem events led by safety protection and waste disposal in college biological laboratories in recent years. Starting from the safety of biological laboratory in Colleges and universities, this paper discusses the laboratory safety protection and waste treatment based on the cultivation of independent safety awareness of laboratory personnel.

This study analyzes the effects of college quality and individual academic background on selected job performance measures for officers working in professional and managerial jobs in the U.S. Navy. The study analyzes performance indicators at selected career points for cohorts in two occupational groups. Among staff personnel, who perform mostly administrative and support functions, the authors find that graduates of private schools, regardless of college quality, received better performance appraisals than did other officers. Among line personnel, who perform jobs on ships and submarines and in aviation, graduates of top-rated schools, both public and private, received better appraisals during the early career period. Within both occupational groups, graduates of top-rated private schools were more likely than other officers to be promoted at the up-or-out point. The results are consistent with prior studies that find an earnings premium attached to attendance at elite private colleges.

Abstract:
This study specifically determined (a) employer expectations of sport managers, (b) employer evaluation of educational sport management programs and curricula, (c) college/university faculty/student evaluation of components of existing sport management programs, and (d) the interrelationships among these groups. The results of this study identified the commonalities within and between business/agency groups and college/university faculty and students. Results of the business/agency needs assessment indicated major differences across settings for academic/experiential requirements, employment needs, workload distributions, and job evaluation criteria. Evaluation of the commonalities/ differences provide indication for curricular planning. Also, differences were apparent between the curricular evaluations of the college/university faculty and business/agency personnel, suggesting the need to evaluate curricular content and determine where changes should/should not be made. There is support for the theoretical conjecture that one concentration will not meet the needs of personnel for all business/agency settings.

Abstract:
An examination of organizational change was carried out at a community college where there was evidence of events which might precipitate change, including events such as leadership succession, new management and governance structures, and proposed cultural shifts. The college during a prolonged period experienced considerable growth in personnel, in facilities, and in students. The beginning of this period coincided with presidential succession, and the period itself was accompanied by a sizable turnover of administrative personnel (approximately 60%, or 10 of 16, of educational administrators). These factors provide the conditions for organizational change, certainly to the extent that "change refers to alterations in the allocation of resources, distribution of power, and the internal structure of the organization" (Hasenfeld 1983, p. 219). While change can lead to organizational success, on another level these changes can result in the victimization of organizational members. This case indicates that not all organizational change has a happy ending, and that those who promote and facilitate the change process for community colleges should consider all potential outcomes of change, including the victimization of organizational participants.

Abstract:
This study examined the role of college self-efficacy in the relationship between university belongingness and exercise motivation among a group of college students (N = 311). Multiple social factors have been identified as playing an important role in students’ physical health and wellness (Leslie et al., 1999; Wallace et al., 2000); however, the mechanisms by which university belongingness influences various exercise motives are unexplored. In the current study, college self-efficacy was examined as a mediator between university belongingness and six types of exercise motivation: stress management, appearance, enjoyment, revitalization, weight management, and positive health (Markland & Ingledew, 1997). Results showed that college self-efficacy mediated the relationship between belongingness and exercise motivation for stress management, enjoyment, revitalization, and positive health. These findings highlight how college self-efficacy helps explain the relationship between university belongingness and motivation to exercise, providing insight into prevention research and implications for university personnel to help foster greater health promotion on campus.

With the era of the Internet, linking the prevention and treatment of mental health problems in colleges and universities with the Internet will become a general trend. In order to improve the effect of identifying the psychological crisis state of college students, a method of identifying the psychological crisis state of college students based on data mining technology is proposed. First, we analyze the current research progress of college students’ psychological crisis state recognition and point out the defects of the current college students’ psychological crisis state recognition methods; then, we collect college students’ psychological crisis state data and use the support vector machine in data mining technology to analyze the psychological crisis state data. We analyze and model and then establish the recognition model of college students’ psychological crisis state; finally, we carry out the simulation experiment of college students’ psychological crisis state recognition. The experimental results show that the accuracy rate of college students’ psychological crisis state recognition by this method is over 90%, and the rejection rate and misrecognition rate are extremely low. The recognition effect is significantly better than other methods, and it can provide valuable information for college student psychological management personnel.

Abstract:
Faced with the AI (artificial intelligence) era, it is both theoretically and practically important to examine the challenges and opportunities that vocational college education in China faces, as well as to actively explore how vocational college education can overcome the challenges and achieve a realistic path. This paper proposes and implements a wireless network-based vocational college talent management system. The main personnel management system primarily completes business operations related to daily personnel file management, while the data mining subsystem mines talent data using the DT (decision tree) classification algorithm to aid talent selection. At the same time, a new topology optimization algorithm based on the principle of minimum rigidity graph is proposed for talent management system wireless network optimization. The maximum-minimum balance criterion and the user-by-user optimization mechanism are designed to obtain the optimal relay selection and subchannel allocation strategy, ensuring the system’s reliability and fairness. The optimized algorithm has a user security satisfaction of 0.93 in the range of 250 m, which is higher than other algorithms. It demonstrates that this algorithm’s communication link is short, and it has good network connectivity and structural stability.

Abstract:
With the continuous development of science and technology, the degree of automation of various products in life is increasing. However, the impact on energy consumption and environment is getting bigger and bigger, and energy saving and emission reduction is gradually becoming a hot topic in the society. The huge loss of electrical energy in colleges and universities makes the development of energy-saving control technology particularly important. In this paper, we design an energy-saving control system for college classrooms based on STM32 main controller, which mainly collects the light intensity and personnel distribution information of classrooms through photoresistor sensors and infrared pyroelectric sensors, and combines software programming to realize effective and group control of classroom lights, so as to achieve the purpose of energy saving. On this basis, a simple upper computer monitoring interface is built to display the collected information, which facilitates real-time monitoring and management of the classroom. The system is analyzed and introduced in detail in three main aspects in the paper. Firstly, the selection of the main controller and its main hardware circuit modules are introduced; secondly, the software process design is centered around the system; finally, using simulation, analysis and online debugging, the light intensity and personnel distribution information collected can be used to control the lamps and lanterns at the corresponding locations of the personnel to turn on. In summary, this paper designs a classroom energy-saving control system to meet the current situation of large energy consumption in college classrooms, which can realize the effective lighting of the corresponding positions according to the changes of natural light environment and different positions of the personnel in the classroom, and verifies the feasibility of this scheme. It provides an idea to effectively reduce the waste of power resources and achieve the purpose of energy saving and emission reduction in colleges and universities.

Abstract:
Strengthening construction for teaching staff is an eternal theme of development and construction for colleges, and it is also the focus of personnel management in colleges. China is swiftly transitioning from the industrial age to the era of intelligence as a result of the rapid growth of information technology and artificial intelligence. Colleges and universities have reached a new stage in their evolution, one marked by intelligent use of technology, as represented by the fourth generation of information technology: cloud computing, big data, and artificial intelligence. Higher standards for college professors’ teaching abilities have been imposed by this new policy. It is therefore beneficial to evaluate teachers’ teaching abilities from an artificial intelligence perspective to improve the overall quality of college education. First, this work researches and improves the teaching ability training strategies of college teachers driven by artificial intelligence from different levels. Second, this work proposes a neural network (IPSO-BP) for evaluating the teaching ability of college teachers via artificial intelligence technology. Aiming at the issues in BP network, this work constructs IPSO by improving the weight decay strategy and learning factor of PSO algorithm. Then, it uses IPSO to optimize the BP to construct IPSO-BP. Third, the results of the experiments in this work suggest that the strategy proposed here is both feasible and preferable.

Abstract:
Abstract The purpose of this study was to study the institutional environment of higher medical and medical colleges (HMC and MC), including such components as «The quality of the educational process»; «Administration of the educational process and safety culture»; «The quality of the scientific process»; «The quality of the clinical process»; «Anti-corruption culture and anti-corruption». Methods. The research was carried out on the basis of a survey of students, teachers and administrative and management personnel (AMP). In total, respondents from 73 HMC and MC took part in the survey, including 13 110 students, 825 teachers and 199 representatives of AMP. Results. An analysis of the qualitative characteristics of the persons who were accepted in the survey indicates a lack of nursing education and an insufficient level of academic achievement (confirmed by a scientific / academic degree) in the majority of AMP and teachers of the HMC and MC. At the same time, teachers with little pedagogical experience and AMP with no / short duration of pedagogical experience tend to overestimate all the studied questions. Analysis of the administration of the educational process and safety culture indicates that teachers and AMP give a much higher assessment of ensuring the rights of students and the level of friendliness of relations with students than the students themselves, which, in fact, indicates insufficient contact between teachers and AMP with students in terms of assessing their needs and requirements; The analysis of the quality of the scientific process indicates that the least accessible for the research work of students are the presence of electives in scientific areas, work in the laboratory, the opportunity to travel to scientific conferences in the Republic of Kazakhstan, to near and far abroad. All categories of respondents require building competence in working with scientific knowledge bases Scopus, Web of Science Nursing Reference Center Plus, CINAHL (EBSCO). An analysis of the quality of the clinical process indicates that, on average, only 2/3 of the respondents, students and teachers note satisfaction with the equipment of clinical sites, the provision of the necessary premises and resources from the clinical sites, access to medical equipment at clinical sites, and access to patients. AMP tends to give a higher assessment of the quality of the clinical process. An analysis of the level of anti-corruption culture indicates that the greatest risk of situations in which elements of corruption in college are most common occurs when entering college, when passing midterm exams (ratings), when passing final exams and tests. As the main reasons for corruption in college, the majority of respondents indicate the low level of teacher salaries, low interest in studying among students. The teaching staff and the AMP give a much higher assessment of satisfaction with the level of response of the college administration to complaints regarding the facts of corruption and unethical attitude than the students themselves. Сonclusions. The results of the study indicate the need to strengthen the selection of personnel for the AMP positions in colleges with the introduction of a mandatory requirement for the presence of at least 5 years of teaching experience, the presence of an academic degree. According to the experience of leading foreign universities and colleges, it is necessary to encourage the practice of combining teaching positions and positions of administrative and managerial personnel. It is necessary to introduce mandatory certification of college teachers, as well as mandatory certification of AMP, every 3-5 years according to clear KPI criteria that assess their work. The discrepancy in the assessments of certain categories of respondents indicates the need for regular feedback from students, conducting questionnaires by teaching staff, AMP and other categories of employees in order to study the institutional environment of MC and HMC and prompt response to problems voiced by students and employees. The hospitality industry has historically trained its own employees at the entry and supervisory level. Today, because of the growth of the hospitality industry, even with the proliferation of hospitality education programs, more non-hospitality trained personnel are entering the industry than ever before. The maitre d' apprenticeship program is designed to complement the in-house training programs of hotels and restaurants with a college curriculum leading to an associate degree and national certification in food service management. The maitre d' apprenticeship program is designed as a model for community and junior colleges to provide an alternative to fulltime college programs to meet the needs of front-of-the-house food service employees who wish to develop their basic skills and supervisory talents. The model of the maitre d' apprenticeship curriculum details the course content needed to meet the certification requirements of the International Food Service Executives Association (IFSEA).

Abstract:
Skill shortages within the hospitality sector is a major problem. The evaluation was undertaken to establish if the TVET colleges are well equipped to have a meaningful impact on the provision of appropriate skills required by the hospitality industry. The study adopted a mixed method approach as part of the survey design. The inherent structure of the curriculum was benchmarked against the expectations of employers of TVET college graduates. Data was collected through the administration of a survey questionnaire and semi-structured interviews. The survey questionnaire specifically examined available infrastructure at the TVET colleges utilised for hospitality studies, training provided by the academic personnel, curriculum content and employers’ expected curriculum outcomes. Seven principals, 14 lecturers and 22 employers were interviewed using a semi-structured interview schedule. The key findings of the study revealed that the curriculum on offer placed considerable emphasis on Catering and Hotel Management. Entrepreneurship and Business Management courses are only offered at N5 level and Communication and Human Relations are offered at N6 level, notwithstanding the fact that they are largely regarded as core skills within the hospitality and tourism industry. Students are afforded work integrated learning opportunities on completion of their studies. Employers observed that a large proportion lacked skills. There appears to be sustained reluctance on the part of academic personnel and institutional management to harness funding. There is a critical need for coherent alignment between curriculum content and the needs of the hospitality industry through periodic reviews.
