Cooling systems using colling towers are often an important element in a production process and always involve water or energy consumption. Therefore, increasing the efficiency of the colling tower will reduce water and / or energy consumption. In order to increase the efficiency of colling tower energy consumption, the most studied part is the fills, where heat transfer occurs. However, there are no studies on the use of vortex generators in colling tower fills. Hence the aim of this study was to evaluate the performance improvement in a forced draught cooling tower using a vortex generator.

By gauging an Abelian electromagnetic solution through a non-Abelian transformation and in accordance with a theorem proved long time ago, we construct a simple class of colliding Einstein–Yang–Mills plane waves. The solution is isometric to the Wu–Yang charged Kerr–Newman black hole and shares much of the properties satisfied by colliding Einstein–Maxwell plane waves. Three spined, mussel species occur in the United States along the Atlantic slope; James spinymussel (Pleurobema collina), Tar spinymussel (Elliptio steinstansana), and Altamaha spinymussel (E. spinosa). The James spinymussel was listed as endangered in 1988, and was until recently considered to be endemic to the James River basin (Clarke and Neves 1984; USFWS 1990). Abstract A dual shear gun prototype was produced to provide an efficient, low noise shear gun for rig site shearing of oil-based drilling fluids. At the same time this shear gun shall not produce metallic debris to the drilling fluid as such debris alters logging results. In this shear gun, two opposite directed jets collide inside a silencer chamber.
