This randomised controlled study aimed to evaluate the stress-relieving effects of colour-by-number mandalas in children hospitalised due to a chronic disease. This study involved 120 children aged 8 to 11 years. The participants were randomly assigned either to the experimental group or to the control group, with each group consisting of 60 children.
