Full textAccording to the statistics of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru, the manufacture of wood and furniture contributed a scarce 1% to the national GDP on average in the period 2005-2016. Although Peru has a privileged forest, outstanding worldwide, this is not used in a sustainable way due to various social and economic pressures. Peru needs to expand areas under certified forest management, attending to proven and growing market demands. Access to technology and the development of productive capacities have been limited, important evolutionary factors that will allow to offer products of greater added value and of export, using modern techniques that allow to take advantage of a greater quantity of timber species of each forest harvested. There is still no good forest management, which has led the industry to handle unpredictable supplies and informal suppliers in the short term. However, this has not been a reason for the deactivation of the sector, on the contrary a development is shown as most factories are grouped in an industrial park where they seek to improve supported by local governments, basically by their ministries as PRODUCE, MINCETUR and PROMPERÚ. Currently, the department of Lima brings together the largest number of factories related to the sector and the concentration of these industries has occurred in the country's largest district, Villa El Salvador. The purpose of this strategic plan is to ensure that the Peruvian Wood furniture industry is recognized in the United States as one of the top three exporters of furniture for its service quality and innovation in design, driven by a high technological investment, characterized by the conservation of High standards of quality and at the forefront of innovation and technological development, achieving the integration of the productive chain with the environment. For this purpose an analysis of the general situation of the country was carried out, an analysis of external and internal environment was developed After defining the vision, 6 long-term objectives and 24 short-term objectives have been developed, which are expected to be achieved after implementing the five specific strategies resulting from the matrices employed. Once sustained the plan will boost the increase in exports to the United States

Full textThe Internet has revolutionized the world in recent years, which has allowed us to access new information and changed the way we see the world. In this world of technology is where the e-commerce was born, it is based on the purchase and sale of any type of product or service online. The e-commerce has an interesting modality to make purchases in supermarkets without the need to go to them and spend long hours to find all the products that are needed. Online grocery retailing, also known as e-grocery, is a type of business-to-consumer e-commerce that has seen tremendous growth in the last decade and is expected to continue growing in the upcoming years. In the city of Lima, Peru, the e-grocery is a starting industry. Currently we have large supermarket chains that offer this service with certain limitations, which has led to new options for small businesses that offer the service in a more immediate way. In the present investigation, we will analyze the behavior of the demand for e-grocery orders, through a simulation model, focused on small businesses in this area.

Full textIn recent years, technological advances have improved the offer of companies through digital channels. Competition is no longer limited to local stores during business hours. Consumers can easily shop at retailers and anywhere else in the world, or even when they do not have physical sales locations. Based on this, the present research seeks to determine and analyze which are the factors most valued by consumers in the textile market, in Metropolitan Lima, when making purchases through e-commerce platforms. For the purposes of the research, specialized and updated literature on electronic commerce issues was reviewed. In addition, qualitative information was obtained through in-depth interviews with experts in e-commerce platforms of the textile industry and other related industries. In the same way, some frequent buyers of clothes through electronic commerce were interviewed in order to learn more about their perception of this marketing channel. Regarding the quantitative analysis, consumer surveys of Metropolitan Lima were conducted with the objective of knowing their shopping habits in electronic commerce. Finally, it was concluded that those attributes that most motivate consumers to access and make purchases in e-commerce platforms of the textile sector are the low prices and offers on products, the ease of purchase without having to move and the variety of options to buy.
