The formation of engineer units in the Royal Yugoslav Army during the 1920s and 1930s developed in two phases. The first was its engagement within the army divisions and in the second phase was the establishment of a unique engineering command, including pioneer, pontoon, and military traffic commands. Considering their different specialized activities, planned complex training demanded certain financial resources as well as an adequately qualified command staff. The lack of engineering officers and non-commissioned officers was one of the reasons why the recruits did not have regular lectures

John Hartung asserted in “Love Thy Neighbor: The Evolution of In-Group Morality” that the command to love, and the later use of it by Jesus, does not apply to everyone but only to those within one’s own group. Through a close reading of Leviticus and the Gospel of Matthew, this essay questions Hartung’s hermeneutic and assesses his conclusion as erroneous. By interrogating the world of the text using a literary method, this essay argues for an appreciation of the complexity of the language and the importance of literary context.

Tenses are one of the vital essentials of grammar. Command over the English language demands a thorough understanding of tenses. Although much research has been conducted on the teaching of the English language in the context of Pakistan, little has been dug out about the problems faced by students regarding the applications of tenses. This paper investigates the perceptions of both students and teachers of the difficulties in the applications of tenses facing ESL learners. Data were collected from 150 students and 30 teachers of government high schools through a structured questionnaire. The

Blessed were the times when a man's decision about his fate lay in his own hands. Blessed were the times when he relied upon himself and was under no one's direct command and formed his life through his direct relationship to nature. The environment [Umwelt] of the man of that time existed outside of his horizon; its events passed him by or broke into his life naturally, suddenly, overwhelmingly. Introduction: Diagnostic colonoscopies are generally done in OPD basis and requires sedation and analgesia to relieve both anxiety and pain. Propofol and midazolam combination is used worldwide and allows rapid and profound sedation with quick recovery. But data on combined sedation with midazolam, pentazocine and propofol are not found. So this study was conducted to test this combination for day care surgery. Methods: Prospectively, 242 colonoscopy procedures who had received combined sedation with midazolam, pentazocine and propofol were analysed. Midazolam and Pentazocine were given intrav

By doing so, the drift problem associated with the traditional perturb and observe (P&O) technique can be easily solved.
