Abstract:
This paper deals with the growing populism movement in Europe. This movement is critical of the European Union and its certain economic and immigration policies. The studies dominant in the field look at different communicative aspects of these phenomena. They point at styles and rhetoric related to populism and failures of the pro-EU forces to communicate effectively why these policies are right and populist citizens are wrong. This paper argues that the problem is not in successes or failures of communication per se, but in shutting out many European citizens from the debate in the public sphere. Not finding reflections of the concerns in the media and policies, and having fewer options to relay their messages to elites perceived to be in power in the EU, these citizens become ‘populist citizens’, and they start voting for populist parties in growing numbers. The article concludes that studies of a communicative aspect of populism need not only discuss mediation, but the policies related to this mediation. Policies may be successful only when people accept them after a free debate. That is what was in the heart of the communicative acts in European history.

Abstract:
There are cognitive, communicative, and pragmatic scientific methods in the modern anthropocentric linguistic paradigm. We have created the intentional method as a new integrative linguistic method for studying modern Russian discourse. The main scientific categories of the intentional method include: intention, intentionality, intentional categories, author, and addressee. The intention of the addressee consists of cognitive, communicative, and pragmatic constituents. We can divide intention into cognitive intention, which helps to understand the world, and communicative intention, which organizes communication between addressee and addresser. The intentional method can help to search out creative and subjective factors of human communication. This method can help to understand the nonlinearity and creativity of the communicative processes. The different types of effects of modern communication are analysed in this article. The effect holds not only a perlocutive quality in integral communication; therefore we announce that there are both positive and negative intentional effects in modern communication. Communicative failures are situations when an addressee refuses to carry on a dialogue or experiences indifference to the interlocutor.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the analysis of the content of professional activity of the future educator, the disclosure of the modern idea of communicative mobility of this category of pedagogical workers of preschool education. The article substantiates the importance of communicative mobility in terms of professional orientation in higher education. The proposed approach to the definition of communicative mobility allows to go beyond its narrowly utilitarian understanding. The considered definition is reduced to the level of the principle of the subject of activity. It is substantiated that such interpretation allows to reveal in communicative mobility opportunities for positive development of the future educator. Emphasis is placed on the formation of the worldview of the future teacher-educator, who demonstrates its important qualities as a high level of adaptability to familiar and new situations, allows you to form a mechanism for rapid response to events in various fields, and provides a chance to experience communication in real life. which are the basis for the formation of ideas about human life and for the realization of the needs and interests of the individual in the political, legal, economic, social and cultural life of the state. Particular attention is paid to the issue of substantiation of the mechanism of mobility, both pedagogical and communicative. The universal character of communicative mobility of the future educator is revealed: multifaceted, multifaceted and multi-textured. It was found that the structure of communicative training of this category of teachers of preschool education is the dialectical unity of all its components, which are the most important factor in self-realization of the individual, along with knowledge, skills and abilities. Emphasis is placed on the fact that pedagogical communication in the educational environment of the preschool institution coordinates purposeful, practical actions of its participants, the peculiarity of these interactions between the subjects of the communication process is that this interaction is carried out indirectly through communication. It is noted that the communicative mobility of future educators is an activity and is the ability to adapt to the implementation of communicative activities.

Abstract:
The article describes the psycholinguistic factors that are important for the formation of students' communicative competence, and substantiates their specific features and the need for implementation in the language education system. The features of the speech activity of a linguistic personality are considered. All types of speech activity form the basis of communication as a psycho-cognitive activity of generating one's own utterance and perceiving someone else's speech (text/discourse) in a particular communicative situation. The process of creating one's own utterance is analyzed, and the main stages of its generation are determined (pre-communicative, communicative, and post-communicative). The features of speech creation as an individual communicative act are explained, and models of speech activity related to the phased process of speech generation are analyzed. The article considers an analytical model of communication, consisting of three interconnected sides: communicative, interactive and perceptual. The substantiated process of communicative interaction occurs gradually and includes important stages of communication, which are realized in stages. Communicative skills are characterized as skills aimed at producing one's own speech and perceiving other people's speech within specific communicative situations; they are specified in accordance with the stages of speech generation. The process of speech perception by a communicator is described, which takes place in two phases (actual perception and understanding) by moving from a surface analysis to a deep one. It is found that various barriers (logical, linguistic, stylistic, phonetic) arise in the process of communication, and their features are determined. On the basis of the conceptual provisions of psycholinguistics, the methodological emphasis is determined, which will contribute to the improvement of language teaching in order to form a high level of communicative competence of the individual. The results of experimental studies are presented.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the study of the theory of media memory and its role in the construction of collectively shared ideas about the past. The author proceeds in his work from McLuhan’s expansive interpretation of media. The processes of mediatization of communicative and cultural memory are being analyzed. Considering the views of Y. M. Lotman and J. Assman on cultural and communicative memory, the author comes to the conclusion that their theories explaining the functioning of collective memory in the era of oral and written communication, cease to work when describing the mechanisms of memory reproduction in the digital environment. Theories of mediatization of memory regard communicative memory are limited to J. Assman’s understanding of, that is, as a memory of the recent past covered by the time of the existence of contemporary digital media. Based on the works of J. Garde-Hansen, E. Hopkins and others, the author considered the theory of digital memory showing its difference from mediamemory. The processes of mediatization of collective memory in the digital environment lead to the emergence of media memory as a special virtual mechanism for constructing ideas about the past. Media memory possesses the characteristics of communicative, cultural and digital memory simultaneously, being a phenomenon of the digital era, where the change in the means of communication has led to the transformation of the content of memories and ways of their reproduction.

Abstract:
In conditions of modern social changes and the transition into an open society, the issues of value-worldview attitudes and orientations of a person in the communication process have become more significant. The key problem of communication is the mechanism of communication, which translates the individual process of transmission and perception of information into a socially significant process of personal and mass impact. To analyze this issue the authors investigate the meaning of the communicative action as a separate initial act of the person’s communicative activity. This article defines the meaning of communicative action as an achievement of the common agreement and substantiates that the transition from non-verbal forms of communicative action to verbal ones expressed the process of development of abstraction in synthesis with imagination in the cognitive sphere of human consciousness. As a result, it became possible to formulate general norms leading to community integration and the development of individual identity. If the meaning of communicative action is to coordinate the interests of interacting communicants, then the meaning of the communicative space is to unite them based on already developed and agreed common values, which is of lasting importance with the self-preservation of the community and determining its future. The information society foregrounded pragmatic and axiological issues, created conditions for the necessity and possibility of understanding the multidimensionality of a person, understood as the multitude of their identities and plurality of their self-expression. In these conditions, the inseparability of the general meaning of communication in various spheres of human activity is actualized, which consists in integration of people, in pursuit of higher values - truth, goodness and beauty in this being, otherwise, the communicative action and communication as a whole will remain just technical means of communication between individuals.

The article reveals the essence and content of the personal digital sovereignty in the context of dynamically developing digitalization processes. The relevance of the topic is based on the growing need in security of personal, private and other sensitive data in the digital space. The use of digital profiles and accounts containing sensitive and confidential information, the use of smart devices, programs and technologies raises the question of understanding the digital sovereignty of the individual, the ways to ensure it, and the problem of communication in the digital space as a whole. In scientific and practical literature significant attention has recently been paid to the digital sovereignty of the state. However, the peculiarities of the development of a digital society, i.e. the issues of protection of the rights and interests of individual in the digital space, remain poorly studied. The subject of the article is the personal digital sovereignty, its basic characteristics and structural elements. The authors reveal the main approaches to defining the essence of this concept from the standpoint of many disciplines and branches of knowledge. The study is concluded with the authors’ definition of the concept of “personal digital sovereignty”.

Background. Intercultural communication in modern society, on the one hand, has become the norm of life, on the other hand, a source of conflict and interethnic barriers. Teens, who are sensitive to the difficulties of mastering intercultural communication, both linguistic and socio-psychological, are experiencing especially difficult migration processes. Therefore, it is extremely important to study the communicative difficulties of migrant teens. Study design. We studied the cross-cultural differences in communicative difficulties that arise in teens migrants of the first and second generation in situations of intercultural communication, as well as ways to overcome them. Statistical processing was carried out using the Mann—Whitney U-test, the multiple functional criterion φ* — the Fisher angular transformation. Participants. 200 teens aged 15—17 years (M=16.3). Measurements. Questionnaire “Difficulties of a teenager in communicating with peers and adults”, the method of unfinished sentences, which determines how to overcome communicative difficulties (author A.G. Samokhvalova). The methodological tools were translated into German and adapted by M.V. Metz. Results. It has been established that there are common intercultural communication difficulties that arise among refugee teens from zones of military conflict, regardless of their place of residence. Second-generation migrant teens are more successful in intercultural communication. First-generation migrants are significantly more likely to use destructive strategies to overcome intercultural communication difficulties. Conclusions. Abstract:
Today there is an increase in the number of people willing to learn English, which is due to the desire to communicate fluently with foreigners, get an education abroad, read foreign literature, watch foreign channels, communicate online, find high-paying jobs in Ukraine and develop comprehensively. A well-developed personality has a better ability to learn something new, feels free and more confident in communicating with other people, as perfect command of English has recently become an integral skill of modern educated people. It is known that language knowledge and relevant speaking skills form the language competence of students; regional, country and linguistic knowledge - socio-cultural and sociolinguistic competence; speaking skills - speaking competence of students. All the types of competences form students' foreign language communicative competence, the development of which is especially important in foreign language teaching. The speed and quality of the formation of communicative competence largely depend on the level of the formation of students' general educational competence. Nowadays one of the dominant methods of foreign languages teaching is communicative. The main purpose of the communicative method is to teach students to communicate with interlocutors. This method harmoniously combines many methods and ways of teaching foreign languages, so it is the basis for the evolution of various educational methods. In the process of learning by this method, students develop communicative competence - the ability to use the language depending on the specific situation. They develop the skill of communication during the communication. According to this aspect, all the exercises and tasks must be communicatively justified by the lack of information, choice and reaction. Communicatively oriented learning task encourages students to work, because it evokes a sense of achievement, confidence, creates a joyful and pleasant atmosphere of learning, promotes a sense of responsibility, expands interests, ensures the use of information from other school subjects. The experience has shown that language material is easier to learn in this way than learning isolated words and grammar rules. The communicative approach is aimed at organizing the learning process, adequate to real communication, because it involves modeling the basic patterns of communication. Communicative (speaking) orientation means that when mastering speaking material (phonetics, vocabulary, grammar), the final step is to demonstrate how the speaking material intended for study can be used to achieve relevant communication in a foreign language.

Abstract:
The article analyzes the text as a communicative unit of artistic communication. Varieties of the text category “connectivity” are presented. The understanding of this invariant feature of the text in the unity of formal and substantive aspects is substantiated. Referential, relational, semantic, figurative, connotative, associative, logical, structural-compositional, stylistic, pragmatic connectivity is described. The scientific novelty of the article is that, for the first time in linguistics, the textual category of connectivity is presented in the communicative aspect. Research methods were used: contextual-interpretive (to justify the status of the text, reconstruction of the author’s (communicative) intention, motives, purpose, general content, orientation of the text to the address, etc.), compositional (to clarify the dynamic unfolding of the text), pragmatic (to identify means ). implementation of communicative interaction between addresser and addressee, study of the problems of communicative modeling of the text, its pragmatic nature and main functions - an intermediary between the author and the reader, determination of pragmatic characteristics of the intentions and strategies of the text), semiotic (for the interpretation of the text as a sign). It was found that the text category of connectivity is an invariant feature of the text explained at the communicative, pragmatic and referential levels. The strategic communicative task of the described category is the transformation of the addressee’s idea into an artistic text as a unit of information exchange. Key words: artistic text, communicativeness, text categories, text supercategories, text subcategories, connectivity, text linguistics.

Abstract:
Implementation of the process of speaking is impossible without communication, that is, the sequence of transmission and reception of information. Approximately half of the doctor's working time is spent on meetings, telephone conversations, communication with patients and colleagues. The ability to speak is his professional duty. A doctor, who knows how to speak creates the impression of an expert in his field, inspires trust in patients, which is a guarantee of successful treatment results.
A high level of development of professional communication skills will largely determine the effectiveness of a doctor's work, his ability to logically and reasonably express his opinions, establish relationships with colleagues, and create a positive social and psychological microclimate in the team. At the same time, mistakes made in professional communication can hinder the effective performance of a doctor's duties and negatively affect his career. The basis of conflicts that reduce the creative potential of medical personnel is a low level of communicative competence caused by the lack of knowledge about communication and the corresponding communicative skills.
The main goal of this work is a comprehensive consideration of the linguistic and communicative aspect of the professional communication of doctors. The methods of work involve the study of the mentioned phenomenon of linguistic and communicative skills of doctors, systematization, and correction of the acquired knowledge.

Communicative simulation is a virtual practice that reproduces offline forms of social interaction using information and communication technologies. This research parametrized communicative simulation genres and described the interpersonal aspect of virtual interaction in a virtual environment, i.e., bricolage form, intersemiotics, and reduced corporality. Communicative simulations differ from such social practices as offline simulations or role games. The social aspect of communicative simulations includes (1) the media nature of virtual interaction; (2) the hybrid nature of communicative simulations that combines the features of both ordinary simulations and text-based role games; (3) the dual nature of social interaction, carried out simultaneously in material and diegetic spaces. As a result, the social aspect of communicative simulation can be presented in the form of a three-level model: material, diegeological, instrumental levels.

Abstract:
The article investigates the relationship between communicative motives and the process of divorce from a jurislinguistic perspective. The article examines how communicative factors influence the decision to dissolve a marriage.
The aim of the article is to identify the primary communicative motives that lead to the dissolution of marriage and to understand their interaction with the legal aspects of the divorce process. Exploring these interactions can help improve communication in such situations, as well as increase the effectiveness of legal interventions related to marital dissolution.
Methodology, methods and techniques. The article applies discursive, lexico-semantic, contextual method of analyzing communicative tactics and strategies. The legal-linguistic analysis of divorce discourse implies the use of argumentation methodology, methodology of cognitive interpretation of legal text and discourse, methodology of analyzing the formal and semantic structure of linguistic elements and text-forming categories.
Results. In the process of jurislinguistic analysis we have identified the primary and auxiliary strategies and tactics in divorce proceedings. The primary strategy of judicial communication is persuasion as the most significant strategy in terms of motives and goals, since it is the court that decides the outcome of the dispute in divorce proceedings. Auxiliary strategies are: deconstruction strategy, strategy of interpreting reality, emotionally attuning strategy, rhetorical strategy, dialog strategy and others.
Communicative-psychological motives for the dissolution of marriage can be the loss of interest of spouses (communicative conflicts, misunderstanding, indifference, aggression), infidelity, beatings, lack of care for joint children and many others. We consider it necessary to develop a special jurislinguistic methodology, using the communicative-discursive potential, which would declare a strict mechanism for taking into account the motives of action of all parties and would implement an algorithm of correlating communicative tactics and strategies in order to successfully reconcile the parties.
The scientific novelty of the study consists in addressing the jurislinguistic discourse of divorce proceedings in order to identify communicative tactics and strategies as a basis for the development of jurislinguistic methodology that uses the communicative and discursive potential.
The practical significance of the study lies in the use of the primary findings to create a communicative toolkit that improves the results of the judicial process.

Abstract:
The subject of the study is a communicative aspect of poetic and prose texts. It is based on dialogization between the addressant and the addressee and a change in semantic positions. The purpose of the study is to analyze the features concerning the explication of dialogical relations in the outward monologic
speech of literary discourse. The research, carried out on the basis of the communicative and cognitive approach, is based on the concepts, methods and results of the communicative stylistics of the text, first of all by N.S. Bolotnova and Tomsk linguistic schools.
Moreover, we have taken into consideration the scientific substantiations by
R.O. Yakobson and Yu.M. Lotman that a literary text (especially a poetic one) is
associated with the concept of a secondary linguistic structure and its main prin-
 ciples are comparison and opposition.
The resulting inferences allow us to determine the features of the commu-
nicative approach to the analysis of a literary text: 1) external dialogization con-
sists in the interaction of the author and the reader, which is expressed in the
interpretative activity of the latter in decoding a poetic work; 2) the internal di-
alogization of the narrative monologue manifests itself as a contact between the
subjects of the work and is represented by lexico-grammatical and tropical means
with the expression of subjective modality.
The results of the study can be used in scientific-research and teaching
activities related to the study of the artistic discourse communicativeness.

Abstract:
This article is devoted to the problem of developing communicative competencies to create an emotional atmosphere of communication with the Japanese based on the understanding of mentality and socio-psychological intelligence corresponding to specific goals and situations. The purpose of the article is to systematize the intra-communicative features of communication in Japanese society, the consideration and study of which are important from the point of view of regulating inter-communication at the intercultural level. The novelty of the study lies in determining the influence of the emotional and psychological aspects of the extralinguistic component of communicative competence on the overall effectiveness of business communication with the Japanese. Changes in the socio-economic situation inside and outside Japan have a direct impact on the transformation of the system of relationships between the Japanese and representatives of other cultures, which is reflected in the linguistic sphere. The relevance of the material lies in the need to expand the knowledge base in the field of the Japanese language and culture (hard skill) through the ability to build adequate relationships in dialogue with a partner (soft skills), based on the understanding of the peculiarities of his mentality and allowing to increase the effectiveness of contacts with representatives of the Japanese side. When working on the article, general scientific methods were used − analysis and synthesis of scientific and educational literature, as well as media resources on this topic, synthesis and classification of the results obtained. The main objectives of the article were to highlight the emotional and psychological components of extralinguistic competence that influence positive communication with the Japanese; determine which factors may be regarded negatively and slow down the communication process; find out what the Japanese understand by communicative distancing and how important it is to observe it in Japanese society. As a result of working with the material, the main emotional and psychological fields of interaction during intra-communicative communication of the Japanese were identified and analyzed and conclusions were drawn about the spread of these fields in the conditions of a changing socio-economic situation to the inter-communicative sphere. The article concludes that for effective communication in Japanese, in addition to language skills, speech skills and knowledge of cultural traditions, it is necessary to take into account the features of emotional and psychological concepts that influence the creation of positive intentions for dialogue: 共感 stimulating communication, 違和感 making communication difficult, 距離感 amenable to regulation for communicative purposes. The results and conclusions of the article can be practically used in the educational process when developing situational exercises and conducting role-playing games based on textbooks and teaching aids on oral communication in Japanese.

Abstract:
The article reveals the linguistic aspect of intercultural conflict communication with the help of a specially prepared linguistic experiment on “Interlingual homonyms” (conducted with English- and Ukrainian-speaking students of Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University), as well as through scientific observation (interesting conflict-generating communication situations during the educational process, the subject of which was the contradictory use of certain morphological forms and phraseological units, were identified). Intercultural communication is positioned as a process of verbal and non-verbal communication between people belonging to different national and cultural communities. Conflict in intercultural communication (i.e., intercultural conflict communication) is presented as a cultural phenomenon, the content of which is determined by cultural factors, and the process of emergence and development of conflicts is regulated by cultural norms, which under certain circumstances lead to the emergence of special cultural rituals that affect the process of conflict interaction between participants. The analysis of the linguistic aspect of intercultural conflict communication is to identify verbal and non-verbal markers of cultural information in order to achieve communicative interaction between representatives of different cultures and prevent the emergence of communicative conflicts. Specific examples demonstrate that intercultural conflict communication can be realized at several linguistic levels: lexical, phraseological, morphological, and syntactic. It is proved that the most effective way to regulate intercultural conflict communication is to develop intercultural communication competence in its real and potential participants as the ability to adequately use culturally significant language tools, concepts and behavioral stereotypes.

Abstract:
The article highlights the main features of interpersonal and intrapersonal conflictives as discursive constructs in modern English fictional discourse from the perspectives of pragmalinguistics, theory of communication, multimodal discourse theory and the communicative approach to the analysis of linguistic units. The article elucidates the results of a pragmalinguistic and communicative study of intra- and interpersonal conflictives in modern fictional discourse realized through the analysis of the corresponding models constructed for different types of conflictives. This construction process is facilitated through basic communicative patterns as well as the main static and dynamic components of conflict communication in fictional discourse. Verbal, nonverbal and other semiotic resources are involved in the process of conflictive constructing. As a result of this multifaceted study of intra- and interpersonal conflictives in modern English fictional discourse, the peculiarities of its multimodal, pragmalinguistic, communicative and dynamic structure have been revealed. Moreover, the detailed examination of interpersonal and intrapersonal conflicts using communicative models has allowed for the identification of the main characteristics of latent and intrapersonal conflictives, which have now become easier to distinguish. The research also aims to establish a link between different approaches to the interpretation of conflict communication development and the methods used to study them in modern linguistic research. The multimodal nature of conflictives encompasses several modes of multimodality, which are represented in at least one mode within the structure of conflicts constructed during a specific phase of the conflict communication process. The study of these phases and their dynamic types helps reveal the meaning communicated and interpreted in situations of interpersonal and intrapersonal conflict in modern English fictional discourse. The obtained results demonstrate the decoding potential of interpreting interpersonal and intrapersonal conflict communication at different levels of linguistic analysis to achieve the corresponding objectives.

Abstract:
Modern society is focused on the growth of various types of interpersonal interaction, including speech communication, which leads to increased requirements for the quality of appropriate training of future primary school teachers, i.e. improvement of communicative competence, which will ensure their active professional activity in the future. The need to update the content of this process is related to various aspects of primary school modernization: the transition to the implementation of the Concept of a new Ukrainian school, support for its humanization, child-centered ideas; implementation of the principles of competency-based and person-oriented approaches in the education of younger schoolchildren, etc. In the social aspect, the importance of researching the communicative competence of primary school teachers is determined by the lack of speech and especially rhetorical culture, both professional and general (culture of thinking, speech, communication). In the pedagogical aspect, its development is aimed at the formation of productive, creative thinking and is based on the ethical principles of morality, and therefore is an important component of the formation of a harmonious personality as the greatest value in a democratic society. In the pedagogical activity of a teacher, communication is professionally significant, as it accompanies all types of work, and therefore the communicative skills of students of the second (master's) level of higher education are determined by the educational and professional program «Initial Education» of the Berdyansk State Pedagogical University: «To communicate in academic Ukrainian in oral and written forms, use communicative strategies, form students' ability for mutual understanding, interpersonal interaction». As evidenced by the results of the initial survey (according to M. Schneider) to identify professional and personal needs in the formation of communicative competence of future primary school teachers, in general, they respond favorably to the methods and techniques that were used in the classes on «Fundamentals of scientific communication and academic culture». At the same time, it was noted that the greatest difficulties for the master's students were caused by exercises of a practice-oriented nature regarding the prediction of the effectiveness of one's own communicative activity and the analysis of pedagogical speech, as well as the determination of ways of its continuous improvement. In the linguistic aspect, in the light of new and emerging disciplines, attention is focused on the variability, imagery, associative potential of lexemes and linguistic complexes, which is a suggestogenic potential, which is analyzed at all linguistic levels.
