Abstract:
We consider the implications of the mathematical modeling and analysis of large modular neuron-to-neuron dynamical networks. We explain how the dynamical behavior of relatively small-scale strongly connected networks leads naturally to nonbinary information processing and thus to multiple hypothesis decision-making, even at the very lowest level of the brain’s architecture. In turn we build on these ideas to address some aspects of the hard problem of consciousness. These include how feelings might arise within an architecture with a foundational decision-making and classification layer of unit processors. We discuss how a proposed “dual hierarchy model,” made up from both externally perceived, physical elements of increasing complexity, and internally experienced, mental elements (which we argue are equivalent to feelings), may support aspects of a learning and evolving consciousness. We introduce the idea that a human brain ought to be able to reconjure subjective mental feelings at will, and thus these feelings cannot depend on internal chatter or internal instability-driven activity (patterns). An immediate consequence of this model, grounded in dynamical systems and nonbinary information processing, is that finite human brains must always be learning and forgetting and that any possible subjective internal feeling that might be fully idealized with a countable infinity of facets could never be learned completely a priori by zombies or automata. It may be experienced more and more fully by an evolving human brain (yet never in totality, not even in a lifetime). We argue that, within our model, the mental elements and thus internal modes (feelings) play a role akin to latent variables in processing and decision-making, and thus confer an evolutionary “fast-thinking” advantage.

Abstract:
Social robots are a proposed solution to feelings of loneliness and social isolation. Given the psychological complexity of experienced trait loneliness and its potential to reduce perceived social presence, an experiment using a social robot was conducted to examine how trait loneliness impacted perceived social co-presence, psychobehavioral interdependence, and subjective mutual presence in social robot interactions. Furthermore, we explored whether these effects differed from human-to-human interactions. Although trait loneliness only affected third order subjective copresence among the three social presence dimensions, individuals with higher trait loneliness were more likely to accept the robot as a social companion.

Abstract:
AbstractHuman beings create images of themselves in all cultures and historical periods. They need these images to communicate about themselves and to understand themselves. Images of the human being are designs and projections of the human being. They are formed in order to visualize representations of the human being or individual aspects of a person. These representations are simplifications of human diversity and complexity. Images of the human being are irreducible. They arise because we communicate about ourselves and must develop similarities and feelings of belonging with other people. They are the result of complex anthropological processes in which social and cultural power structures play an important role. Owing to their iconic character, they reduce the complexity of the person and his or her being-in-the-world to select features and do not create a complete view of the person.

Abstract:
This research explores the relationship between human imagination and architecture through the depiction of the Taj Mahal in Sahir Ludhianvi’s Urdu poetry. It examines how the Taj Mahal, beyond its physical structure, represents human sensitivity, emotion, and cultural imagination. The central question focuses on how human feelings, intertwined with imagination, are reflected in Ludhianvi’s portrayal of the iconic monument. Architecture is viewed not merely as a physical creation but as a profound symbol of cultural identity and emotional depth, much like literature evokes feelings through words. The Taj Mahal, often symbolizing love and beauty is explored as a metaphor for deeper human relationships in Ludhianvi’s work. By employing a phenomenological and literary analysis, the research reveals how architecture influences human experiences and imagination. The findings show that the Taj Mahal, in Ludhianvi’s poetry, represents more than its aesthetic grandeur. It becomes a symbol of eternal love and emotional complexity, blending the tangible with the intangible. The study suggests that future research should delve further into how architectural heritage shapes cultural imagination and recommends interdisciplinary approaches that combine architecture, literature, and phenomenology to gain deeper insights into this relationship.

Abstract:
Abstract Background Dementia and loneliness are both complex phenomenon’s that impact on both mental and physical health. Research has identified that loneliness can increase a person’s risk of mortality as much as smoking or alcohol consumption. People with dementia are at particular risk of loneliness and social isolation. This can negatively impact on a person with dementia’s health. To effectively address loneliness in dementia, we must first understand how people with dementia experience loneliness. Methods Interviews were conducted with people living with dementia. Participants comprised of eight community-dwelling individuals, aged 55 years and older (mean = 63.8; range = 55-77), who were each diagnosed with dementia at least one year prior to interview (range = 1.16 – >5 years). Interviews were conducted in participants’ homes using a semi-structured format and lasted between 37-74 minutes. Results Three key themes emerged: the importance of maintaining meaningful relationships, maintaining independence and socio-cultural influences on individual perceptions of loneliness and dementia. The results emphasise the importance of maintaining both a sense of self and meaningful relationships with others post-diagnosis for individuals who identified themselves as “not lonely”. People living with dementia reported that the maintenance of social connection aids in fostering a sense of self-worth and self-management, which in turn mitigates feelings of loneliness. The majority of participants existing social connections with others was established prior to their diagnosis, although the maintenance of these relationships may have required an adjustment of their premorbid routines and method of social engagement. Conclusion Human contact and a meaningful relationship are superior in preventing loneliness. Individual feelings of loneliness or lack thereof are not directly correlated to the coping mechanisms most commonly employed by individuals with dementia. Further exploration is need to understand how people with dementia, who live at home, perceive or experience loneliness.

The paper analyzes the tricky phenomenon of religious feelings related to the question of authenticity. The challenge to describe and make sense of this elusive relationship, providing one exists at all, becomes clearer against the background of two important figures dealing with the psychology of religion – William James (primarily a psychologist) and Bernard Lonergan (primarily a theologian). While James was a naturalist psychologist who put his study on a background of human nature and followed academic scientific discipline, Lonergan was a Christian theologian who set the goal for his whole system not on the level of cognition but on the transcending dimension of being-in-love with God. They both avoided the extremes of their positions and reached out to a more balanced way of understanding religion in its complexity and sometimes ambiguous significance in the lives of human moral subjects.

Abstract:
Abstract: With highly rapid progress in artificial intelligence (AI) technology, AI has evolved dramatically in nearly all aspects of human life, especially private life. This article explores instances of AI as displacement to/ augmentation of human connections, concerning the ramifications of AI-based companions, Robots Daily paper Knowledge Date: December 2023 Today Date: 26 Jul 2024 Rephrase the following sentence. Use the same language as the original sentence. With AI becoming more ordinary in ordinary life, the question is: Can AI truly replicate the tone and subtlety of human connections, or is it only an addition? New AI technologies like chatbots, virtual assistants, and social robots are created to hold a user in a conversation and to give emotional comfort. These advancements indicate that AI can complete information omissions in social interactions when people feel lonely or anxious about being socialized. For instance, AI-powered mental health apps can generate therapeutic conversation as a substitute of companionship. Though these technologies can imitate human contact, they are often compelled to overlook the emotional attunement and comprehend that element of human relationships. The intricacies of human emotions—sourced in shared experiences, feelings, and interpersonal relationships—remain tough for AI to grasp and mimic perfectly. Even in the realm of dating and social connectors, the introduction of AI says something about its future: its potential on human relationships. Sophisticated algorithms are used to screen customer preferences and activities for making connections, simplifying the look for romantic partners. Although these programs can enrich communication by linking people, they also partially end up as the credibility of relationships set up via such software. Users are likely to interact with AI-produced profiles or personas that do not have the emotional or psychological form present in one genuine human interaction. The psychological consequences of having AI as companionship are enormous. At the core of this is that meaningful human relationships are crucial for emotional wellness and lowering feelings of loneliness and general life contentment. Suppose people add AI (Artificial Intelligence) as the primary option for companionship to the picture. In that case, there is a risk of alienating from authentic relationships even more, deepening the feelings of loneliness. The love feeling comes from genuine human interactions, unlike AI, which is based on algorithms and information instead of genuine feeling and true individual connection. Besides, the ethical issues also enter the picture when AI becomes more affirmative about personal relationships. The idea of psycho-emotional influence using AI raises issues about consent and authenticity of emotional perception. AsDesde que la sociedad transitable de éstas complejidades, es necesario definir marcos que pongan en el centro la conexión y el bienestar humano. This encompasses promoting an understanding of the boundaries of AI when it comes to mimicking human emotions and stimulating the creation of technologies that complement, not detract from, interpersonal relationships. AI can increase human relationships by providing assistance and companionship with humanity, but it can not replace human relationships' depth, profundity, and complexity. The subtleties of emotional resonance, connection and shared experience, and emotional are considered on the strength of what the facts suggest to be a substantial evidential base. As AI becomes more pertinent in our lives, we must be conscious of reaching an equilibrium where the human part of how one communicates is kept while we benefit from what AI can afford. The research into artificial love shows the importance of ongoing conversation around the place of technology in our social lives and the inseparability between the reality of our online and offline lives in that ongoing conversation.

The work and the life of David Loye were prophetic, able to read the signs announcing a new human condition and the need for an anthropological metamorphosis. His foresight was undoubtedly rooted in his profound cosmological and anthropological vision of evolution, which marked his life and his thought. I cherish the memory of the overwhelming emotion with which, in a conference in 1986 in Florence, he shared his vision: “To sense how we humans are the inheritors of all this power and movement over space and time is at once awesome and humbling, but also exciting and inspiring. The residue of such feelings is the special sense of responsibility many scientists share: that all this shall not perish because of us” (Loye, 1987, p. 67). These words have since inspired my research. The following thoughts express my deep gratitude to David’s work and life, which are intrinsically related.

Abstract:
In this article, one of the key images of our traditional art is being proposed to analyze, the metaphor of ‘’dor’’, which determines the lyrical substance of several folk writings, generalizing the universe of popular feelings. Once ‘’dor’’ defines the “Romanian states of mind”, it deepens a complexity of feelings, inner resorts, being understood to some aesthetic generalizations of reality, these are the significance of synthesizing the ontological dimensions of human lives. The ‘’dor’’ tends to an area of absolute generality represented by proportions that it knows them sentimentally lived. Through the image of the ‘’dor’’ is considered the perpetual character of life, movement, evolution, we see a codification of the Romanian soul, the fundamental idea of a viable concept of existence. In folk’s lyric, the ‘’dor’’ becomes an aesthetic category, it defines the most genuine modern testament of the national spirit, it is one of the finest crystallizations of the popular soul, “the fundamental constant of his vision of the world and life” (M. Bucur). The poetization of the ‘’dor’’ foresees a criterion of aesthetic evaluation, of promoting the general-human values, of some attitudes taken from the experience of the people, from the treasure of its spiritual richness.

Abstract:
This study aims to analyze the lyrics of the song Gala Bunga Matahari by Sal Priadi using an objective approach to reveal the structure, meaning, and semantic construction. Descriptive qualitative research methods with text analysis techniques are used to dissect the linguistic and stylistic components of the lyrics. The focus of the study includes aspects of language structure, use of diction, metaphors, and semantic patterns in the lyrics. The results of the study show that the lyrics of the song Gala Bunga Matahari have a high complexity of meaning with the use of rich natural metaphors. The structure of the lyrics displays a dichotomy between hope and reality, with sunflowers as the main symbol representing the dynamics of human life and feelings. The analysis found five main themes: longing, hope, emotional transition, uncertainty, and resilience. Linguistically, the lyrics use a metaphorical style of language with a high level of abstraction, presenting a complex relationship of meaning between natural objects and subjective experiences. Semantic construction shows the songwriter's ability to transform personal experiences into universal narratives. The conclusion of the study reveals that the lyrics of "Gala Bunga Matahari" are a symbolic representation of the human emotional journey, with sunflowers as a fundamental metaphor in expressing the dynamics of feelings and hopes.

Abstract:
The article highlights the topic of functioning of the "artistic image" concept in modern philological science, as well as the analysis of artistic images in the poetic speech creation of Fedіr Potushnyak. In the problems of studying the writer’s linguistic personality, artistic image occupies a prominent place. Analyzing the artistic image, attention is focused on the key elements of a poetic work that help convey emotions, ideas and the author’s worldview. The study identifies and describes artistic images based on thematic areas: nature, human feelings, philosophical reflections and cultural context. It is emphasized that one of the key characteristics of F. Potushnyak’s creative style is nature, as a reflection of the poet’s soul. Through artistic images that reflect human feelings, the writer skillfully conveys all the complexity and ambiguity of human emotions and feelings. Here he uses a number of expressive means: metaphors, comparisons, allegory, etc. In the writer’s poetic language, artistic images often appear that encourage us to think about the issues of life, death and the meaning of existence. Such artistic images can usually be abstract, but they always emphasize the deep philosophical nature of the author’s work and his search for answers to universal philosophical questions. The following artistic images in F. Potushnyak’s language that reflect the cultural context are also noted. The writer often refers to Ukrainian culture, folklore and folk traditions. It is noted that by integrating Ukrainian folklore motifs into his poetic language, the writer enriches it with national flavor, thereby emphasizing the deep roots of the Ukrainian people. Artistic images associated with folk customs, legends and myths add rich cultural content to his poetry. These or those elements can metaphorically act as an expression of collective memory and identity. In conclusion, it is emphasized that the poetry of Fedіr Potushnyak deeply explores the human soul through the artistic images he created, which are permeated with symbolism and metaphors, which makes his work relevant and significant for Ukrainian literature.

AbstractPerinatal experience is posited as generative of psychogenesis: the psychological birth of the infant. The process involves a sentient human being rather than a nonconscious tabula rasa fetus. That birth experience is only traumatic is reductionist. The origins of positively colored affects as well as sexual feelings and even ecstasy may be intrauterine. The importance and complexity of the birth experience can better be described in terms of phases of being that parallel the physical stages of labor. These phases are immanence, obstruence, descendence, experience, ascendence, emergence, and transcendence. Each of these phases encompasses a unique state and dynamic process. Birth as such is shown to be a rich multidimensional experience that is also transformative.

Abstract:
Complexity of patterns is key information for human brain to differ objects of about the same size and shape. Like other innate human senses, the complexity perception cannot be easily quantified. We propose a transparent and universal machine method for estimating structural (effective) complexity of two-dimensional and three-dimensional patterns that can be straightforwardly generalized onto other classes of objects. It is based on multistep renormalization of the pattern of interest and computing the overlap between neighboring renormalized layers. This way, we can define a single number characterizing the structural complexity of an object. We apply this definition to quantify complexity of various magnetic patterns and demonstrate that not only does it reflect the intuitive feeling of what is “complex” and what is “simple” but also, can be used to accurately detect different phase transitions and gain information about dynamics of nonequilibrium systems. When employed for that, the proposed scheme is much simpler and numerically cheaper than the standard methods based on computing correlation functions or using machine learning techniques.

The article offers an analysis of the verbal image of “love” in the poetry of Lina Kostenko, traces its lexical-associative and functional-stylistic development. Cognitive-textual analysis shows that the individual linguosophy of the image of “love” in Lina Kostenko’s poetry harmoniously combines tradition and innovation. In particular, there is a continuation of the tradition of sublime-romantic description of the feeling of love, its sacralization. The harmonization of human feelings and the state of nature characteristic of Ukrainian folk poetics, which is manifested in numerous natural-morphological metaphors, is also stated. These metaphors cover a wide range of nominative and verb images that are thematically related to plants. A typical models of metaphorization of the feeling of love – its understanding in terms of conceptospheres “fire”, “element”, “music”. Each of these models is presented from the point of view of Lina Kostenko’s individual author’s vision. The formulas for expressing the feeling of feeling “I love you”, “I think of you” are also textually productive in L. Kostenko’s poetry. Their content is often specified, express the circumstances of the mode of action, time. The affinity of L. Kostenko’s language with the vernacular is evidenced by phraseologized descriptions of love. A number of metaphors by L. Kostenko express the complexity of negative emotional phenomena and states related to love, such as “separation”, “alienation”, “pain”, “anxiety”. The most representative for L. Kostenko’s poetry positively marked lexical-associative connections of the concept of “love” include “love – a kiss” and “love – a dream”.

AbstractAs a growing number of contemporary American novelists take the world and its socio-cultural and geopolitical complexity as their subject matter, the contemporary novel’s form and sense of worldliness are shifting. Twenty-first century US fiction challenges normative models of the world proposed by theories of cosmopolitan relationality by projecting fragile worlds of strife and trauma, in which violence accompanies geopolitical turbulence. In these novels, discourses around human security—the everyday security needs of vulnerable populations—are increasingly prominent. Accordingly, contemporary US fiction often incorporates within its geopolitical imaginary such issues as human rights, humanitarian interventions, development, and how life is disabled by prejudice, civil war, scarcity, and health or other crises. In this essay, I range across a number of works by contemporary American novelists such as Dave Eggers, Jennifer Egan, Denis Johnson, Dana Spiotta, and Bob Shacochis in which state failures as well as human and geopolitical security concerns impact on the form given to the world by these novelists. In their novels, narratives concerning human security as well as threats to geopolitical stability produce transnational geographies in which global interconnections and circulation intensify feelings of insecurity.

Abstract:
The community in the oil palm planting zone experiences intragenerational disappointment, due to feelings of alienation that add to the complexity of conflict resolution. We employed an experimental conflict resolution approach utilising Latent Class Analysis and ANOVA hypothesis testing to summarise research findings, a method which involves selecting descriptions of conflict classes and member variables, in order to depict intragenerational community characteristics that concern the perceptions and experiences of conflict within oil palm planting zones. The results indicate that groups categorised as “aggressive habitat threats” reflected concerns about environmental degradation and the potential eviction of small landholders. Meanwhile, the “job transition” group presented a potential for conflict in proportion to their aspirations for a decent life. However, conflicts do not always result in direct clashes. Conversely, community empowerment, including circular dimensions and human resources, acts as a catalyst that motivates intragenerational individuals to actively accelerate efforts to increase their capacity.

Eileen Chang's novels penetrate abstract concepts with personal concrete insight, and form feelings completely different from historical time and progressive imagination through stagnant Samsara experience, confirming the unique meaning of concrete life and showing the richness and complexity of human nature. On the basis of the previous studies on the novels of Eileen Chang from the perspective of love and marriage, this paper focuses on the Samsara fatalism phenomenon in the novels by means of close reading of the texts. Taking Samsara expereience as a research perspective is an important way to enter Eileen Chang's novels and even modern literature, which lays a profound foundation for us to examine the constance of stable life and the universal of The Times.

Abstract:
Talking about the human soul remains interesting and relevant because it does not exist in a vacuum. There are three main things to note. First, the science of the human soul is related to dynamic human life. Second, talk about the human soul must be in line with the demands of the globalization era. Third, human nature must be creative and innovative. The psychology of Islamic education and talk about human beings is an important part. Humans are the subject and object of education. In an Islamic perspective, humans have two major tasks as servants of Allah SWT, namely total dedication to the Creator and the task of prospering the earth as caliphs. Humans have several comprehensive aspects, such as bodies, feelings, thoughts, and the complexity of the reality of life. Therefore, Islamic education must pay attention to all these aspects. Humans have two potentials facing each other, good and bad. In the context of Islamic Educational Psychology, psychology functions as a guide to develop good potential and control human bad potential. Aspects of the human psyche with all its potential is a manifestation of devotion to Allah SWT. The ultimate goal of Islamic Educational Psychology is to introduce humans to their God, so that they become people of faith and piety.

Abstract:
The contemporary practice of creating official animal burial sites exhibits certain analogies with cemeteries, which function not only as burial sites for humans but also as complex symbols of remembering the dead. Both are macro-signs, manifested through verbal and non-verbal codes. Human cemeteries are characterised by greater symbolic complexity and diversity, deriving from centuries-old cultural and religious traditions. The linguistic and non-linguistic actions performed with respect to cemeteries, in the broadly understood situational context, are closely related to the sphere of sacrum, represented by the symbol of the cross. Although pet cemeteries are identical to human cemeteries in terms of certain code elements (including headstone inscriptions, photographs, and figural sculptures), such cemeteries are less complex and relate chiefly to the sphere of profanum, represented by symbols of the widespread myth of the Rainbow Bridge. However, the common denominator of both macro-signs are the linguistic and non-linguistic actions that are inspired by the feelings of sadness, love, and gratitude.

Abstract:
The aim of the article is to identify the dialectics of love and art, their mutual determination. The emergence and development of self-consciousness has paved a distance of the homo sapiens from his “lesser brothers” — and where once, long ago there was only sexual attraction inherent in nature, man created love as a life-meaning value, which in art, especially in artistic literature and music, presents the dominant theme. The relationship between man and woman, termed as love, becomes such in their mutual desire to make each other happy. The complexity of the intellectual and sensual worlds that is love turns the realization of this aspiration into a creative process. This is how a “work of life” that possesses aesthetic value is created. In such cases, the intensity of feelings becomes for the artist the “muse” that inspires him to take up the pen and create a work of art. An artistic work reproduces the uniqueness and beauty of human feelings, transmits them into the world and transforms them into the heritage of culture. Since love is not a gift of nature, but the result of human education and upbringing, art is a factor that forms the emotional sphere of the reader’s and the listener’s consciousness by immersing them into the experiences of the protagonists. Thereby, love and art, impacting each other, increase the potential of goodness and beauty in the world.

Abstract:
In a modern patriarchal society, women often receive the message that their appearance and sexuality dictate their value as human beings. Some populations, like exotic dancers, capitalize on this construction by receiving monetary rewards for the visual and physical consumption of their sexual bodies. Through interviews with female exotic dancers, the author investigates the ways that these women were sexualized at a young age, often through abuse. The author probes how they negotiated both their child and adult sexual selves and how this intersected with feelings of power and powerlessness and their eventual choices to become dancers. This study demonstrates the complexity of the lives of these women as they try to reclaim power by selling their sexualized bodies for money while still enduring abuse within this context.

Abstract:
This study aimed to know how family caregivers cope with the finitude of their close relative in home care. This is a qualitative study, involving 11 caregivers of terminally ill patients, registered in a home care service of a university hospital in the South of Brazil, conducted in the period from January to June 2010. Data collection occurred through narrative interviews which were recorded and transcribed to be analyzed through content analysis. Two categories emerged from data analysis: “feelings involved in terminally ill patients home care” and “repercussions of human finitude in the caregiver’s life”, which made clear the complexity of home care of patients without possibilities of cure and the sufferings incurred by this situation to the family caregivers that are responsible for a caring of this nature.

Abstract:
The semantics of neo-mythologisms in modern literature are examined, with an emphasis on how they affect creative expression. The incorporation of mythology into story forms has become a defining characteristic, expressing the complexity of society and illustrating character feelings. This study finds a lack in knowledge regarding the adaptation of neo-mythological symbols in Uzbek and international writing, although previous research emphasizes myth as a story device. Using a comparative approach, it examines the stylistic neo-mythological adaptations of works by authors such as Sultan and Kafka. The results indicate that neo-mythological frameworks improve the resonance of the story by illuminating human links to nature and adding depth to the characters. These revelations highlight the myth's changing significance in contemporary literature and provide fresh avenues for interpretation.

Abstract:
Many of Vienna’s labor migrants who entered Austria as so-called “guest workers” together with their spouses long nurtured the dream of returning to their country of origin, at the latest when they retired. By then, however, returning became less than straightforward leading to ambivalence regarding questions of belonging/return and transnational mobility and late-life care. Based on rich qualitative data, in this article, I show that ambivalences are found in the complexity of migrants’ narratives, particularly in the way they (1) reassess past choices, (2) negotiate feelings of belonging, and (3) assess future options for late life and care. I argue that the social dimension of ambivalence, which I term “relational ambivalence,” is crucial to understanding the labor migrants’ experiences, reflections, and choices. The analysis shows that ambivalence must be understood as a product of relationships rather than solely an individual experience. The concept of relational ambivalence captures these social and discursive dimensions of ambivalence. The article ultimately carves out the particularity of ambivalence in the general context of migration and in the specific context of Vienna’s labor migrants, while accepting feelings of ambivalence or the simultaneity of different, opposing positions in one and the same person as a core human experience.

Abstract:
This study aims to analyze lexical ambiguity in the song lyrics by Cigarettes After Sex. The main focus of this study is to identify the types of words that having lexical ambiguity and explore the meanings of the words contained in these words in the context of the album with a semantic approach. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to examine the lexical ambiguity of the lyrics in depth. The results show that the lyrics frequently use lexical ambiguity with multiple meanings, including nouns, adjectives, and verbs. This ambiguity not only enriches the meaning of the lyrics by adding the meaning of the lyrics but also creates a subjective and personal listening experience for the listener. Ambiguous words are often used to describe feelings of love, longing, sadness, and emotional complexity in human relationships. This study concludes that lexical ambiguity plays an important role in creating emotional depth and allowing listeners to find diverse meanings according to their own experiences and emotional contexts. This ambiguity also increases the complexity of the lyrics, making it an effective poetic tool in conveying nuances of emotion and multi-layered meanings.

Abstract:
One of the biggest problems with sentiment analysis systems is sarcasm. The use of implicit, indirect language to express opinions is what gives it its complexity. Sarcasm can be represented in a number of ways, such as in headings, conversations, or book titles. Even for a human, recognizing sarcasm can be difficult because it conveys feelings that are diametrically contrary to the literal meaning expressed in the text. There are several different models for sarcasm detection. To identify humorous news headlines, this article assessed vectorization algorithms and several machine learning models. The recommended hybrid technique using the bag-of-words and TF-IDF feature vectorization models is compared experimentally to other machine learning approaches. In comparison to existing strategies, experiments demonstrate that the proposed hybrid technique with the bag-of-word vectorization model offers greater accuracy and F1-score results.

Abstract:
The purpose of writing this journal is to analyze the psychological subject of Raskolnikov, the main character in Fyodor Dostoevsky's novel Crime and Punishment from the perspective of psychoanalytic theory. This journal outlines an in-depth psychological analysis of the characters and context of Fyodor Dostoyevsky's novel "Crime and Punishment". This novel tells the story of a poor student named Rodion Raskolnikov, who decides to plan the murder of an old woman, which he thinks is an event that can bring social benefits. Throughout the story, Raskolnikov experiences inner conflict and is overcome by feelings of guilt. This journal also outlines the ideas of psychological theory that can be applied to understanding Raskolnikov's character, including the concepts of desire, inner conflict, and moral conflict. The author also examines the impact of psychological concepts such as psychoanalytic thinking and wisdom on human behavior in the context of this journal. The results of the analysis show that this novel is a deep reflection on the complexity of human psychology, depicting the tension between desire, morality and common sense considerations. Overall, the novel invites readers to reflect on the nature of crime, punishment, and human wisdom through a deep psychological lens.

Abstract:
Empathy is the emotional capacity to feel and understand the emotions experienced by other human beings from within their frame of reference. As a unique psychological faculty, empathy is an important source of motivation to behave altruistically and cooperatively. Although human-like emotion should be a critical component in the construction of artificial intelligence (AI), the discovery of emotional elements such as empathy is subject to complexity and uncertainty. In this work, we demonstrated an interesting electrical device (i.e., an MXene (Ti3C2) memristor) and successfully exploited the device to emulate a psychological model of “empathic blame”. To emulate this affective reaction, MXene was introduced into memristive devices because of its interesting structure and ionic capacity. Additionally, depending on several rehearsal repetitions, self-adaptive characteristic of the memristive weights corresponded to different levels of empathy. Moreover, an artificial neural system was designed to analogously realize a moral judgment with empathy. This work may indicate a breakthrough in making cool machines manifest real voltage-motivated feelings at the level of the hardware rather than the algorithm.

AbstractAs work teams have increasingly become the cornerstone of the post bureaucratic organization, there have been calls for a greater understanding of collective thought and action. Such understanding is deemed important for the design and management of teamwork. Theory suggests that feelings of ownership manifest themselves at the collective level, and positively affect team performance effectiveness. This study illuminates the role played by teamwork complexity and team self-management in the emergence of the psychological processes that are associated with the manifestation of job-focused collective psychological ownership (CPO). In addition, employment of serial mediation suggests that both teamwork dimensions put employees on two routes (intimate knowing of and the collective investment of the team members' selves into the job) that lead to the emergence of a collective sense of ownership, and together these two route variables and CPO sequentially mediated a positive relationship between teamwork design and team performance effectiveness.

Abstract:
In the field of special education, treatment is a broad term and it can be divided into three categories: intervention, rehabilitation, and management. In the educational therapy, the main focus is on intervention – originally a medical term – and can be briefly defined as an act of interfering with the outcome or course especially of an individual’s challenging condition so as to prevent harm or further deterioration to the individual’s condition, or in the hope to improve the individual’s overall functioning as normally as possible. In this paper, the authors began by making a quick and brief introduction of what the term treatment covers and then plunged into examining intervention. There are three forms of intervention: clinical, diagnostic, and strategic. The authors have chosen to narrow their focus on strategic intervention based on eight guiding principles adapted from Erika Andersen’s ‘Being Strategic’ principles for every day (Part 1) and with a group (Part 2) (Andersen, 2010) within the context of a trans-disciplinary team approach to manage the challenging issues of learning, behavioral and/or emotional disruptions. Three key frameworks are involved in the strategic intervention: (a) the Cattell-Horn-Carroll (CHC) theory of cognitive and academic abilities (Carroll, 1993; Cattell, 1963; Horn, 1965); (b) the Model of Hierarchical Complexity (MHC) applied to human behaviors (Commons, 2007); and (c) the Feeling Wheel Classification (FWC) of feelings, emotions and moods (Willcox, 1982).

Abstract:
Theory of mind is the capacity to understand the behaviour of others by attributing to them mental and emotional processes. When we read works of fiction this cognitive ability comes into play because we form mental representations of the characters, attributing them with feelings, thoughts, motivations, and fears. The construction of these mental models is an inductive process by which the reader ‘fills in the blank spaces’ according to his/her subjectivity. In performing this interpretive work we decode symbols that gain meaning only in the context of the mental model that the reader builds around the character. In fantasy, symbols encourage a more interpretative reading, erase the illusion of the uniqueness of reality, and can promote a critical vision of human and social multiplicity. This article analyses two fantasy novels (Michelle Paver's Wolf Brother and Cristina Brambilla's Al primo sangue) which, through a symbolic approach, deal with two of the most frightening fears connected to growing up. The aim is to demonstrate how, under the veil of metaphorical language, these novels represent the complexity of the human mind and show the interior dynamics of characters when they face fears deeply connected with adolescence.

Being in the World is a key concept in existential humanism that highlights the interaction between humans and their environment. Humans are not only physically in the world, but also actively involved in cultural, social, and environmental influences. In their existence, humans experience a wide range of experiences, including joy, suffering, anxiety, and the search for the meaning of life. This approach emphasizes the importance of existence, meaning of life, self-awareness, responsibility, freedom of choice, openness, and individual involvement in overcoming depression and anxiety. Depression is seen as related to feelings of loss of meaning in life and dissatisfaction with existence, while anxiety often arises from fear and uncertainty. The results of this study provide valuable insights into how an existential humanistic approach can assist individuals in dealing with the mental challenges of depression and anxiety.

Abstract:
This article analyzes the work Intimate and Literary Letters (1915) with the aim of tracing the (auto)biographical profile of the Brazilian writer Manuel dos Passos de Oliveira Telles (1859-1935), a prominent figure in the literary and historiographical scene of Sergipe in the transition between the 19th and 20th centuries. It investigates how the author records personal events and feelings and explores his relationship with the social and cultural context, while simultaneously constructing and projecting his identity(ies) through writing. Additionally, the potential of this collection of correspondence as a strategy for achieving literary recognition is discussed. This unpublished epistolary book constitutes a documentary heritage that contributes significantly to the preservation and dissemination of Oliveira Telles' individual memory and Sergipe's cultural memory. Its introspective and critical writing offers a unique insight into human complexity, becoming valuable not only as a historical document but also as a literary work of great relevance.

Abstract:
This paper examines the narrative techniques in Kate Chopin’s The Story of an Hour and their role in articulating feminist themes within the context of 19th-century patriarchal constraints. The story follows Mrs. Mallard’s trans-formative journey from a repressed wife to a newly awakened individual em-bracing freedom, albeit briefly. Through techniques such as the third-person limited point of view, contrastive symbolism, multisensory imagery, shifts in tone and mood, and a carefully structured three-act rhythm, Chopin critiques societal expectations that suppress women’s autonomy. The narrative’s ironic twists further underscore the societal limitations imposed on women. The anal-ysis reveals that these techniques collectively amplify three central themes: the complexity of human emotions, as Mrs. Mallard’s feelings evolve from grief to nuanced liberation; the constraints of societal expectations, which stifled women’s autonomy; and the quest for freedom and self-identity, as Mrs. Mallard briefly experiences selfhood before her tragic demise. Chopin’s craftsmanship underscores the tension between individual freedom and societal repression.

Abstract:
Literary works, especially drama, often reflect the complexity of human psychology through character development and internal conflict. One of the most profound ways to explore this complexity is through psychoanalytic theory, which reveals how unconscious forces shape human behavior. The objective of this study is to analyze personality development in William Shakespeare’s drama Macbeth through the lens of Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalytic theory. This study employs descriptive qualitative method to explore the inner conflicts experienced by the main character, Macbeth, which are categorized into Freud’s structural personality model: the id, ego, and superego. The results of the data were found that the most dominant component was the id (50%), followed by the ego (30.56%) and the superego (19.44%). The dominance of the id appears in Macbeth's ambition and unconscious desires that lead him to commit murder and violence to gain power. The ego appears when Macbeth tries to think rationally and consider the consequences of his actions, especially when he hesitates or plans strategically before taking any steps. The superego is found in Macbeth’s feelings of guilt and remorse after killing King Duncan, which show his moral awareness and internal punishment. The psychological tension caused by the conflict among the three components of personality reflects Macbeth’s mental transformation from a noble man to a tyrant driven by fear, guilt, and obsession. The final conclusion is that the id is the most dominant factor influencing Macbeth’s downfall, as his uncontrolled desires overpower his rational mind and moral conscience, causing his psychological destruction. This study shows that psychoanalytic theory can be a powerful tool to uncover the internal struggles of literary characters and explain how hidden psychological forces shape their fate.

Abstract:
The new economy, the knowledge economy, is fundamentally changing the attitude towards the workforce. The concept of "personnel" first replaced the concept of "human resources", but today it is already "human capital". Thus, the “war for brains” becomes the mainstream of HR management. The profession of an HR manager in business entities comes to the fore, and it is on their actions that the effectiveness of not only the correct selection of personnel depends, but also the further path of each employee, up to painless dismissal, without causing negative consequences for the HR brand
Today VUCA-reality forces us to radically revise the existing classical approaches to human resource management. Stability replaces instability, predictability - uncertainty, simplicity - complexity, certainty - ambiguity. The flagship is the "Person-centered" approach in HR - management, when effective management does not respond to the position and the focus of attention is completely directed to a specific employee, to his emotions, feelings, problems, behavior, the possibility of combining "brains".
Thus, the process of human resource management of business entities needs effective management based on new trends in the full management cycle, taking into account the transformation of life associated with the introduction of a remote work format. Accelerated development and implementation of IT technologies is also reflected in the process of effective HR - management of business entities focused on innovative development.
This article examines modern trends in HR management at different stages, including adaptive management decisions that meet the conditions of remote work, allowing modern business to be competitive and occupy a leading position in the market.

Strandler, Ola, Thomas Johansson, Gina Wisker, and Silwa Claesson. "Supervisor or counsellor? – Emotional boundary work in supervision." International Journal for Researcher Development 5, no. 2 (2014): 70–82. http://dx.doi.org/10.1108/ijrd-03-2014-0002.

Abstract:
Purpose – The aim of this article was to focus on how supervisors relate to and handle the emotional work involved in the supervision process. These emotional issues are related to changes in the academic system, such as an increasing emphasis on efficacy and quality assurance. Design/methodology/approach – Interviews with supervisors are discussed using a theoretical framework built on the concepts of emotional boundary work and feeling rules. A narrative approach was used to make connections between individual stories and the institutional level of the academic system. Findings – The findings show how emotions challenge and condition supervision, and how the micro-processes of supervision and the wider university systems are tightly connected. A paradox is illuminated where emotional aspects are both recognized as an important feature of supervision and as a threat, which could affect it in the context of regulation and increasing demands on efficiency. Practical implications – The findings suggest that a mediating role of supervisors and emotional boundary work needs to be considered in supervision, which demands certain amount of flexibility in regulations. Also, the risks of associating supervision with private issues are acknowledged. Originality/value – The findings suggest that supervision is a highly emotional process, and that supervisors, on the one hand, tend to downplay the emotional side of this process, but on the other hand, are well aware of the complexity of the supervision process and its demands on them. Although supervisor–student interactions have become more regulated, they also include more attention to human interactions, feelings and emotional boundary work.
