Abstract:
Recently, public policies of urban regeneration have intensified and multiplied. They are being promoted with the aim to start social and economic dynamics within the local context which is subject to intervention. From the empirical analysis, we realise that such activities are mainly implemented by three subjects or by mixed coalitions (public institutions, actors of the third sector and companies). Within them, each player is moved by a multiplicity of interests and goals that go beyond their own nature – public interest, market and mutualism – and tend to redefine themselves, thus becoming hybrid forms of production of value (social, economic, cultural). By studying a number Italian and Catalan cases, this essay deals with the theory that, under specific conditions and configurations, a collaborative direction – of organization, production and design – would give life to successful procedures, even without the identification of a one-best-way. The collaboration is not simply a choice of operation, but a real production method which mobilises social resources to create hybrid solutions – between state, market and society – to complex issues that could not be faced solely with the use of the rationale of action of one among the three actors. In this framework, the systems of relations and interactions between players and shared capital become an essential condition for the success of every initiative of urban redevelopment, or failure thereof. Such initiatives are brought to life by the strategic role of individuals who foster connections as well as the dissemination of non-redundant information between social networks, and collective and individual actors which would otherwise be separated and barely able to communicate and collaborate with each other. In addition to the functions carried out by knowledge brokers, that have been extensively described in organisational studies and economic sociology, the aforementioned figures act as real social enzymes, that is to say, they handle the available information and function as catalysts of social processes of production of knowledge. Moreover, they increase the reaction speed, working on mechanisms which control the spontaneity.

Abstract:
Carles Riba, one of the most relevant personalities in Catalan letters, not only as a poet but also as a linguist, has been considered a difficult writer. This book aims to examine how his theoretical preparation and his ideas in linguistics influenced his work in the particular case of some early stories in which he tries “uns utilíssims exercicis de simplicitat”. Carles Riba did not present his linguistic theories in a single text in a complete and articulated way but we can evaluate them in various papers he wrote and published up until his death in 1959. The first part of this work, after an introduction which sets the author in the context of European linguistics, is a review of the ideas that can be found in the collections of essays: Escolis i altres articles (1921), Els marges (1927), Per comprendre (1937), ... més els poemes (1957), and in a few other particularly interesting papers.This part focuses also on some of the controversies in which Carles Riba is involved as a linguist during the spanish dictatorship: especially his role on the publication of the second edition of Pompeu Fabra’s dictionary in 1954 and the consequences of the prologue he wrote for the volume. Joan Coromines considers an attack on the linguist Pompeu Fabra the negative comparison Riba proposes with the honnête homme: in our research we re-evaluate this consideration and analyse the historical and semantic value of this expression belonging to 17th-century French culture.The second part of this paper is a strictly linguistic analysis of three texts, chosen among Carles Riba’s works for children. The interest of those texts is in the author’s deliberate intent of using the most simple language, which enables us to determine what he considers the basic aspects of linguistic quality. Furthermore, the existence of different editions of those texts permits a philological analysis of those versions showing Carles Riba’s ‘simple’ language in three very representative moments, from the beginning of his career as a writer to the difficult situation during the dictatorship.

Tomando como eje las relaciones entre lingüística e ideología y su proyección en el ámbito social, político o didáctico, se analiza aquí el contenido de obras gramaticales, lexicográficas y ortográficas, historias de lenguas, artículos periodísticos, discursos, manifiestos y otros escritos publicados en la horquilla comprendida entre los siglos XVI y XX. Aunque el grueso de los trabajos se articula en torno a textos sobre el español tanto en su variedad europea como americana, también se da aquí cabida a contribuciones sobre sistemas lingüísticos pasados, como el latín o el mozárabe; sobre otras lenguas peninsulares contemporáneas, como el euskera o el catalán y sus variedades dialectales; sobre el componente ideológico de los textos en los que la enseñanza del castellano se ve influida por el idioma de los destinatarios, como el inglés, el árabe marroquí o el japonés, e, incluso, sobre el complejo universo de las lenguas artificiales.

Abstract:
La Crónica de San Juan de la Peña, conocida también en la Edad Media como Coronicas de los senyores reyes d’Aragón, fue redactada a instancias de Pedro IV el Ceremonioso en la segunda mitad del siglo xiv. La redacción inicial fue en latín y pos- teriormente se tradujo al catalán y al aragonés. La versión en aragonés parece que estaría ya redactada hacia 1372. Se trata de uno de los textos en aragonés clásico más interesantes que suma a su importancia histórica su interés lingüístico. Francho Nagore Laín publicó en 2003 un amplio estudio de los aspectos lingüísticos de este texto que incluía la grafemática, la fonética, la morfología, la sintaxis y la formación de palabras. Ahora publica en este volumen el vocabulario completo de dicho texto, que consta de 2285 entradas. Cada una de estas incluye, además del lema o encabezamiento, la categoría gramatical, su significado en castellano, ejemplos del texto para cada una de las acepciones, comentarios sobre la etimología, las palabras del mismo origen en otras lenguas románicas y la documentación sobre el registro de las voces tanto en aragonés medieval como moderno. Es, pues, una contribución al conocimiento del léxico del aragonés medieval a partir de una obra emblemática, tanto histórica como lingüísticamente.

Abstract:
En esta nota, describimos cómo los gobiernos y el sector privado pueden organizarse para responder a retos, como el cambio climático, el envejecimiento y las epidemias, que exigen cambios institucionales sistémicos mediante políticas orientadas por misión (POM) donde un enfoque global anclado en la misión sirve para responder a estos retos excepcionales. Las POM promueven el desarrollo de tecnologías específicas para mejorar las herramientas disponibles, incorporando y sintetizando las perspectivas multisectoriales (pública y privada) respecto a las distintas dimensiones del problema (el lado de demanda), y también de las soluciones posibles (el lado de la oferta). El Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) dirigió una investigación que evaluó el nivel de capacidad institucional para implementar POM en Chile, Colombia y México. Este documento analiza dos casos de México: una estrategia nacional en el ámbito de la salud y una estrategia a nivel subnacional sobre clústeres estratégicos. Estos dos casos permiten extraer lecciones aprendidas para las POM. (1) La existencia en el sector privado de capacidades científico-tecnológicas y productivas no es suficiente para solucionar los grandes retos, se requieren que el Estado también tenga capacidades técnico administrativas y de mercado y (2) una verdadera POM que facilita el diseño e implementación de estrategias nacionales de largo plazo y que logra involucrar a muchos actores del gobierno, el sector privado y la sociedad civil, sí puede catalizar soluciones a problemas sociales sumamente complejos y graves.
