The article analyzes the changes in labor legislation on remote work, aimed at minimizing the negative consequences of the spread of the virus, both on the basis of the mechanisms already laid down in labor legislation, and taking into account the measures taken at the federal and regional levels.

This study examines labor law enforcement spillovers in Brazil's highly informal economy, focusing on disability quota enforcement for formal firms. New inspection procedures increased compliance through heightened inspections and fines, boosting disability hiring. Chiles Law 21.015, enforcing a 1% employment quota for people with disabilities (PwD) in larger firms, led to a 15.8% increase in PwD employment and 3.6% more eligible firms employing PwD.
