GeneMusiK is an artistic project that puts into play ideas about the capacity of physical morphologies to act as mnemonic systems by using DNA to transcode and remix musical structures. The project suggests that both biological and cultural information can function as both macro- and micro-scale structures arrayed at physical loci to create topologies which function as keys to the mapping of memory.

The analysis of information about domestic and foreign installations of the volumetric fire-extinguishing with gas-water compositions is carried out. Pneumoacoustic sprayers of original design were developed, which make it possible to obtain a gas-water composition containing fire-extinguishing gas and water droplets of the ultrafine spray (10–60 microns). It is shown that gas-water compositions combine the advantages of fire-extinguishing gas and fine-sprayed water, since the volumetric method of gas fire-extinguishing and the cooling effect of water are preserved. Service-oriented architecture is a widely accepted service used for supporting consolidation and integration functions under an enterprise system which are complex in nature but with an intelligent framework which helps in integrating the services in an optimistic and dynamic manner for getting the task done. For any service-oriented architecture-based application, its services are the main components, as it requires service compositions for answering various requests. There exist many possible service compositions for completing a task. To find an optimum composition from those dynamically pr

This thesis addresses issues associated with efficiently programming modern heterogeneous GPU-based systems, containing multicore CPUs and one or more programmable Graphics Processing Units (GPUs). We use ideas from component-based programming to address programming, performance and portability issues of these heterogeneous systems. Specifically, we present three approaches that all use the idea of having multiple implementations for each computation; performance is achieved/retained either a) by selecting a suitable implementation for each computation on a given platform or b) by dividing the

The aim of this research is to explore new creative outcomes of the use of emergent generative systems as material in audio and audiovisual experimental art. The portfolio includes the following compositions: Construction in Self, Construction in Zhuangzi and Construction in Kneading, the last two each comprising of three separate pieces. The mathematical systems used are the Lorenz dynamical system and the Mandelbox fractal. Through considering their potential for emergence, the aesthetic possibilities that generative systems offer in the context of experimental computational art are explored
