In this paper, we propose a middleware system for building adaptive migratory continuous media applications. In future computing environments, a variety of objects at home and in offices will embed computers, and various applications will be moved among these computers according to the user's locations. For example, a computer that executes an application may be changed to another computer according to the location of the application's user for monitoring his behavior. However, since the computers may have dramatically different hardware and software configurations, the application cannot be moved without taking into account the configurations of the computers that the application is migrated. Therefore, migratory applications should be aware of environments where they are executed. The paper focuses on middleware for building adaptive migratory continuous media applications that are one of the most important classes of migratory applications. Our middleware consists of three components. The first component is an environment server that monitors computing environments that applications run, and it notifies the changes of the environments to the applications. The second component is a continuous media toolkit that enables us to build adaptive migratory continuous media applications easily. The toolkit enables us to build continuous media applications in a highly configurable way. This makes applications to be adapted to every computing environment by changing their configurations. The third component is a migration manager that makes applications migratory. We also show an example of a migratory application, and describe some experiences with building the application.

This article is the first of a series that focuses on the history of computer-assisted music analysis. This first article discusses the philosophical basis of computer-assisted music analysis, i.e. the application of information theory to aesthetics, as well as representative applications of statistical and information-theoretical measurements to music analysis and other computational approaches to music analysis that did not include the use of electronic computers. In most cases, those approaches were direct models for computer-assisted applications. Finally, this article provides a short historical account of the development of early computers and summarizes the earliest computer-applications to music analysis, carried out during the 1950s.

A topological index is a quantity computed from the molecular graph, that finds application in chemistry, material science, computer science, and biological application-driven fields. Recently, the general Zagreb indices were studied, and methods for their calculation for composite graphs were established. In the present paper, we provide examples for chemical applications of these methods, computing the first and second general Zagreb indices of several composite molecular species, in particular of biphenyl, naphthalene, biphenylene, and bicoronylene. In this paper, we compute the Nirmala index and its corresponding exponential of chloroquine, hydroxychloroquine and remdesivir. Also we determine the inverse Nirmal indices of chloroquine, hydroxychloroquine and remdesivir.

A computer program which is able to simulate adsorption on fractal surfaces was developed. The fractal surfaces are generated as Takagi surfaces. The computer program is based on a DLA-algorithm. Adsorption was simulated in different conditions: 1. equivalent active sites (homogeneous surfaces); 2. active sites with different adsorption probabilities; the probability associated with every active site is computed using a van der Waals potential. Our simulation allows us to explore the actual structure of the gas-solid interface and to study the sensitivity to energetic disorder. The fractal dimension of gas-solid interface vs. adsorption coverage curves are computed.

With the increasing of computing and network technology, there has been a rise in children's educational and entertainment software. However, these software applications depend on mouse and keyboard input, which may be tedious and challenging for children. Moreover, these applications fail to capture the interaction between users and computers. This study proposes design principles for children's human-computer interaction based on children's cognitive, psychological, and physiological attributes, and outlines a framework accordingly. The framework integrates natural human-computer interaction technologies, such as physical operation interface, gesture interaction, low-level semantics-based human-computer interaction, and high-level semantics-based human-computer interaction, with the aim of facilitating seamless and intuitive interaction between children and computers. Finally, the results demonstrating the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed human-computer interaction technology as a child-centered virtual reality application tool.

Research in Intelligent Agents has yielded interesting results, some of which have been translated into commer­cial ventures. Intelligent Agents are executable software components that represent the user, perform tasks on behalf of the user and when the task terminates, the Agents send the result to the user. Intelligent Agents are best suited for the Internet: a collection of computers connected together in a world-wide computer network. Swarm and HYDRA computer architectures for Agents’ execution were developed at the University of Surrey, UK in the 90s. The objective of the research was to develop a software-based computer architecture on which Agents execution could be explored. The combination of Intelligent Agents and HYDRA computer architecture gave rise to a new computer concept: the NET-Computer in which the comput­ing resources reside on the Internet. The Internet computers form the hardware and software resources, and the user is provided with a simple interface to access the Internet and run user tasks. The Agents autonomously roam the Internet (NET-Computer) executing the tasks. A growing segment of the Internet is E-Commerce for online shopping for products and services. The Internet computing resources provide a marketplace for product suppliers and consumers alike. Consumers are looking for suppliers selling products and services, while suppliers are looking for buyers. Searching the vast amount of information available on the Internet causes a great deal of problems for both consumers and suppliers. Intelligent Agents executing on the NET-Computer can surf through the Internet and select specific information of interest to the user. The simulation results show that Intelligent Agents executing HYDRA computer architecture could be applied in E-Commerce.

We review the applications of artificial life (ALife), the creation of synthetic life on computers to study, simulate, and understand living systems. The definition and features of ALife are shown by application studies. ALife application fields treated include robot control, robot manufacturing, practical robots, computer graphics, natural phenomenon modeling, entertainment, games, music, economics, Internet, information processing, industrial design, simulation software, electronics, security, data mining, and telecommunications. In order to show the status of ALife application research, this review primarily features a survey of about 180 ALife application articles rather than a selected representation of a few articles. Evolutionary computation is the most popular method for designing such applications, but recently swarm intelligence, artificial immune network, and agent-based modeling have also produced results. Applications were initially restricted to the robotics and computer graphics, but presently, many different applications in engineering areas are of interest.

Permissions setting on a computer is necessary. This is an effort that is not easy to change the system configuration or settings changed by the user. With a network of computers, of course, permissions settings do not need to be done one by one manually. Because in a computer network course there are many collections of computers connected together. Permissions setting so that the system can use the client-server applications that access restrictions can be done effectively. As the implementation of client-server applications can be created using Visual Basic 6.0. This language has been able to access the socket on the Windows operating system, named Winsock API that supports TCP / IP. This protocol is widely used because of the reliability of client-server application programming. The application is divided into two main applications, namely the client and server program name with the name of the Receiver Sender program. Receiver function receives instructions restriction of access rights Sender and sends reports to the Sender process execution. While Sender functions to send instructions restrictions permissions via the Registry to the Receiver. And after the test, the application can block important features available in the Windows operating system. So it is expected that these applications can help in permissions setting on a computer network.

Android, a Linux-based operating system, is a smart operating system that can compete with operating systems on a computer. Some of the problems identified include user difficulties in overcoming computer damage to determine whether to repair or buy a new unit, difficulty in reaching authorized service providers, risks when deciding to repair at a public service place, and limited access to information and costs repairing computer damage. This research specifically designs an Android application-based computer service application that makes it easier for people to get service services. The above research results formulate computer repair services using an Android-based platform with Android Studio and MySQL as the database for this study. Evaluation of spiral computed tomography data is important to improve the diagnosis of gunshot wounds and the development of further surgical tactics. The aim of the work is to improve the results of the diagnosis of foreign bodies in the lungs by using computer vision algorithms. Image gradation correction, interval segmentation, threshold segmentation, three-dimensional wave method, principal components method are used as a computer vision device. The use of computer vision algorithm allows to clearly determine the size of the foreign body of the lung with an error of 6.8 to 7.2%, which is important for in-depth diagnosis and development of further surgical tactics. In this service, the team wants to do it in the form of training and talk shows about Simple Design Training Using Visual Studio 2010 and SQL Server 2008 Applications at IT AL JABAR Junior High School. In this Expert System application research development, the authors use a combination of two inference methods, namely the Forward Chaining method and the Certainty Factor Method. The programming tools used in the development of this Expert System application is using the Sublime Text 3 application while the database uses MySQL with PHP as the programming language. The purpose of this Expert System application is made to assist computer users in making an initial diagnosis of a damaged computer Hardware along with the causes and solutions to overcome the damage.

CAN bus is used here to realize decentralized control and centralized management. By monitoring and controlling running status of lower computers and relevant parameters through upper computer, the unit can work under an optimum working condition. Therefore, the unit’s work efficiency will be increased, and the fault rate will be reduced. Experiment shows that, upper computer can communicate with lower computers reliably. It is the future computer science teachers who must be able to create their own applications for professional duties, because the possession of tools for creating software products is one of the software learning outcomes of future computer science teachers. The concept of "application" is analyzed in the article. An "application" is defined as a software product that can run on a PC and / or mobile device due to installation or opening by a browser without installation. Types of applications are presented: desktop applications, mobile, web applications. The existing classifications of applications are given, with their characteristics, namely: web application, rich Internet application, Internet application, mobile application, hybrid mobile application, composite web application (mashup). Describes the classification of Internet applications and composite web applications. Examples of web applications are given. Statistics on the use of mobile applications of social networks and messengers, according to which the most popular application is the YouTube application. The author's classification of applications is offered: desktop applications (applications that are installed on a PC), mobile applications (applications that are installed on mobile devices), Internet applications (web applications, applications that do not require installation, but are opened by a browser and a certain mostly use the Internet). The platforms for creating applications are given. The stages of application creation are characterized: selection of the target audience, definition of purpose and functionality, type of application interface, selection of tools for application creation, application creation, application testing, improvement of the developed application. Examples of applications that can be created by future computer science teachers for further use in professional activities are offered: own website, testing system, reference book, application with presentations to educational material and tasks, guest book, forum, etc. The creation and use of applications by future computer science teachers ensures the formation of pupils' interest in computer science lessons, because pupils often use applications for personal needs, rather than educational.

Recent surveys of school applications of computers show that in contradiction to early expectations, the availability of microcomputers in schools does not have substantial impact on traditional teaching. In this article we identify conditions necessary for teachers to adopt changes in their instruction, and specifically to adopt technological innovations. We argue that the CAI—the use of computers for individualized learning or drill and practice—which is the most common application of computers for teaching and learning, does not satisfy most conditions necessary for teacher adoption. This may explain why the “microcomputer revolution” has not materialized. Finally, we suggest another type of microcomputer applications: Computer-Guided-Teaching, which satisfies most conditions for wide adoption by teachers, and which has potential for substantial teaching improvement.

PT XYZ is a retail company using Cloud Computing to support its business operations. The company requires the back-end application deployment process to be done automatically on each server computer. The problem occurs insecure in the process of the back-end application deployed manually causing human error vulnerabilities and inefficient when the version of application change occurs to operate on each server computer takes time as long as the number of server computers that need to be configured. The research aims to design a deployer system that help company to deploy back-end applications on each Ubuntu server computer automatically efficiently and securely. The research method uses Research and Development to create system. The research produces a design and build of an automated deployer system using Jenkins to create data configuration that aim the version of back-end application as target deploy and stored in the Cloud Firestore database. The stored data causing deployer system change version back-end application as stored data using GIT command and provide application to operate as service on each server computer. Operation result of application recorded as data deployment that stored in the Cloud Firestore then Jenkins detect it to store data as deployment log. Based on the results, the deployer system considered is able to operate back-end application automatically according the target version on each server computer as eficient and secure deployment process. This conclusion is supported by the results of the questionnaire, which obtained a 85% percentage and was classified as "Strongly Agree" with the created system.
