Abstract:
The main purpose of this article is to analyze different recommendation systems and examine how they are used within digital environments to establish classifications for books. Following a bibliographical review of recommendation systems, the performance of a number of book recommendation systems is tested. The systems tested are grouped according to whether recommendations are done by specialists, are based on social networking or use more complex statistical stylometry to help each reader find the reading materials best suited to them. Results indicate that progress in technology implementation is favoring the findability of books by combining the strengths of the various systems. The principal social implication of this research is that recommendation systems enable the reader's optimized use of books, as well as allow the development of content appropriation systems. Concerning to originality and value is important to emphasize there is no previous known work establishing the taxonomy proposed in this paper.

Abstract:
The present theme refers to the characterization of cellular mobile operating systems: Android, Symbian, iPhone, Windows Phone. To present which of the cellular mobile operating systems, is the most secure and the most susceptible to computer viruses, the qualitative methodology based on the bibliographic reference, data collected in books, technical manuals, manufacturer information and on internet sites; to the analysis of the documentary data, done in tables. However, it is concluded that not all types of computer viruses infect cell phones, it depends on the kernel of the operating system. It was possible to know that Symbian is the operating system most prone to contamination of computer viruses, this operating system is made of a C ++ programming language coming from the C language one of the most popular and has many developers. Android is a mobile operating system, not so secure, based on the kernel of Linux, being free software allows more number of developers of the technology. Windows phone is the least susceptible to virtual pests. And Microsoft has invested heavily in their security system, restricted access to the app store to prevent the user from downloading programs out of the market, since every day are placed numerous applications. Bluetooth technology represents a major form of virus transmission.

Abstract:
At the present stage of the use of information technologies in society, the issue of information protection becomes important. Operating systems play a major role in this. They are assigned the role of protectors of all user data and access rights. The authors of the article were tasked with proposing a classification of the use of operating systems and with the requirements for mechanisms of protection of information under this classification. In the article: - the existing security standards that are implemented in modern operating systems are analyzed. Existing security standards are outlined (Trusted Computer System Evaluation Criteria «Orange Book», TCSEC, ISO 17799). In the Orange Book, a trusted system is defined as "a system that uses sufficient hardware and software to provide simultaneous processing of information of varying secrecy by a group of users without violating access rights." Security mechanisms and security classes of modern operating systems and BS 7799 security management model are also considered; this standard contains a systematic, complete, universal list of safety regulators, useful for the organization of almost any size, structure and scope information security management system. The standard Information Security Management System (ISMS) refers to the proportion of the overall risk-based management system designed to design, implement, control, maintain and improve information security activities. This system consists of organizational structures, policies, planning actions, responsibilities, procedures, processes and resources; - the analysis of the mechanisms of the complex system of information security (CSIS) and security, which are implemented in modern operating systems; - classification of operating system usage variants in information and telecommunication systems is offered. Requirements for information security mechanisms for operating systems according to the proposed classification are defined; - requirements for operating system information security standard and requirements for OS security mechanisms within the usage class are proposed

In computer operating systems books, they explain and solve deadlock problems by declaring in advance the maximum needs of resources and their instances for each process, the total number of resources' instances, and the allocation of the resources' instances for each process. In this paper, we introduce an effective software tool to prove that it is not necessary to declare in advance the allocation of resources' instances for each process since we suggested and implement in the tool some equations to calculate and discover a suitable allocation of resources' instances to be distributed among competing processes in such a way that the computer system will never enter a deadlock state. In fact, the only necessary and sufficient conditions to solve deadlock problems are the total number of resources and their instances besides the maximum needs of resources and their instances for each process. The theory and details are explained with some examples in the contents.

Abstract:
Purpose This paper aims to understand the emergence, the revolution and the relevant knowledge of academic research concentrating on social media (SM) and hospitality and tourism firms’ financial performance. The authors not only identified the gaps and critical issues in research but also re-conceptualized profound directions for the future research in technology and finance in the hospitality and tourism field. Design/methodology/approach This study adopted an in-depth review analysis to investigate and review previous scholarly papers published in hospitality, tourism and hospitality and tourism journals from January 2011 to the present. The authors thoroughly analyzed and reviewed peer-reviewed/refereed, blind-reviewed, full-length published articles and working papers within SM and hospitality firms’ financial performance. Editor notes, prefaces, research notes, industry articles, internet publications, conference preceding, books and book chapters were excluded. Findings Having examined the empirical content of 26 peer-reviewed scholarly articles, the authors clearly observed that none of the papers went beyond analyzing the effect of SM on hotels’ revenue per available room, revenues, net profit, average daily rate, occupancy rates, net operating income, etc., and all papers ignored the analysis of many critical financial proxies. Research limitations/implications This critique and review paper is limited to the relationship between SM and firms’ financial performance within the hospitality and tourism context. Practical implications This review provides a blueprint to guide future research, facilitate knowledge accumulation and create a new understanding and awareness in practice as well as SM and financial performance research. Social implications This paper complements and adds to previous work by demonstrating various aspects, evidences, findings and inferences regarding the association between online SM platforms and firms’ financial performance and by proposing rigorous abstract and specific future extensions to both practice and discipline-specific knowledge. Originality/value There is an absence of the most updated review study of published papers on SM and hospitality and tourism firms’ financial performance. Although how SM contributes to firms’ financial performance is clear to academicians and industry professionals, no solid consensus or theoretical certainty about what the authors know and do not know has been achieved.

Abstract:
The penetration of distributed generators (DGs) in the existing power system has brought some real challenges regarding the power quality and dynamic response of the power systems. To overcome the above-mentioned issues, the researchers around the world have tried and tested different control methods among which the computational intelligence (CI) based methods have been found as most effective in mitigating the power quality and transient response problems intuitively. The significance of the mentioned optimization approaches in contemporary ac Microgrid (MG) controls can be observed from the increasing number of published articles and book chapters in the recent past. However, literature related to this important subject is scattered with no comprehensive review that provides detailed insight information on this substantial development. As such, this research work provides a detailed overview of four of the most extensively used CI-based optimization techniques, namely, artificial neural network (ANN), fuzzy logic (FL), adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) and genetic algorithm (GA) as applied in ac MG controls from 42 research articles along with their basic working mechanism, merits, and limitations. Due to space and scope constraints, this study excludes the applications of swarm intelligence-based optimization methods in the studied field of research. Each of the mentioned CI algorithms is explored for three major MG control applications i.e., reactive power compensation and power quality, MPPT and MG’s voltage, frequency, and power regulation. In addition, this work provides a classification of the mentioned CI-based optimization studies based on various categories such as key study objective, optimization method applied, DGs utilized, studied MG operating mode, and considered operating conditions in order to ease the searchability and selectivity of the articles for the readers. Hence, it is envisaged that this comprehensive review will provide a valuable one-stop source of knowledge to the researchers working in the field of CI-based ac MG control architectures.

Abstract:
First, in the field of related search terms, it is as poor as ‘Chunhyangjeon’ that is directly related to Korean classical novels. Except for educational materials, about 『the classic novel Odyssey』 appears on the first screen, and as for videos, popularized videos do not appear except for educational materials. Related news is also not receiving attention except for distributing press releases. Books related to classical novels also mentioned the degree of publications of institutions that distribute press releases. In particular, from January 1, 2021 to August 16, 2022, there were no books related to classical novels on Kyobo Bookstore’s best seller list. Second, in bookstores, both classical novel theory books and popular books were already missing from bookshelves. It proves that the keyword “classical novel” is gradually being erased from the public’s eyes. In the survey, the degree of overall awareness of classical novels was low. The reading volume of classical novels was very insufficient, and the reading tendency was simple. However, what is hopeful is that there were many demands for popular books and lecture programs related to classical novels. Third, Lim Chi-kyun’s lecture on royal novels during the Joseon Dynasty was very well received by the students and showed very high satisfaction in the satisfaction survey. In the case of videos produced for “the Story of Yedeok Teacher”, they paid more attention to life than the keyword of classical fiction. Fourth, through Lee Hu Nam’s 『Monsters』, there are contents that he learned various classical novels through interesting monster and its image. This directly showed the possibility of character development based on the imageization of classical novels. Through online reactions to Shin Byung-joo and Noh Dae-hwan’s 『History Travel in Classical Fiction』 the positive effect of connecting classical novels to historical and cultural phenomena of the Joseon Dynasty could be confirmed. Through this analysis, there were not many areas where classical fiction majors could directly contribute to popularization. It was found that translating classical novels into modern languages is important, and YouTube video production, publication of a popular book, and operation of lecture programs are the most realistic methods.

Abstract:
A WORLD WITHOUT WORK by Daniel Susskind. New York: Metropolitan Books, 2020. 305 pages. Hardcover; $28.00. ISBN: 9781250173522. *Will AI systems inevitably displace humans from employment? While computer and AI technology continue to advance at astronomical rates, the popular concern is often of an apocalyptic future where highly intelligent robots have taken over (e.g., Terminator, Matrix, etc.). In his book, A World without Work, Daniel Susskind predicts the current capabilities of technology will lead to a future in which powerful AI systems can do many of the jobs held by humans. Susskind therefore believes that the proliferation of AI systems will lead to a future "world without enough work for everyone to do" (p. 5). With his expertise in economics, Susskind explores how the continued advanced of technology will have profound effects on future employment, growing inequality, and the methods whereby humans find meaning and purpose. *The book is divided into three sections. In the first section, Susskind sets out the historical context of technological advancements and their effects on employment and economics. He highlights how the early advancements of computer technology were often met with disappointment as creators found it exceedingly difficult to create a machine that could replicate human intelligence. However, this early disappointment led humans to underestimate the efficiency of AI systems in performing tasks that are easy to automate (or what Susskind refers to as "routines"). *In the second section, the discussion shifts to exploring how the increased power and affordability of machines enable them to perform more human roles. The fear of increasing unemployment due to technological advancement is a real fear. Susskind differentiates between two types of technological unemployment: frictional and structural. While frictional unemployment (humans not having the skills to perform a job) is certainly an issue, structural unemployment (there actually being too few jobs for everyone) is the more pressing problem. The threat of rising unemployment leads Susskind to predict that economic inequality will grow since only certain people will be able to acquire well-paying jobs. *In the third and final section, Susskind tries to provide a solution to the growing unemployment problem. He claims the attempted solution of technology education fails as a long-term response since not all people have the disposition to learn about technology, nor will there be enough jobs. A potential solution is to provide a UBI (universal basic income) for all people so that the economic inequality will not be so severe. However, Susskind rejects the UBI solution in favor of his proposed CBI (conditional basic income) which still provides income but with requirements that must be met. Susskind believes his proposed CBI solution has the added benefits of solving the inequality problem and providing meaning and purpose that a job once held. *Computer and AI technology are certainly advancing at a rapid rate. Susskind is not alone in his warnings regarding the potential dangers of technological advancements. However, Susskind helpfully points out that the danger does not come from machines gaining sentience and oppressing humans but, rather, the danger is one of machines gradually replacing us in our employment due to their overwhelming speed and efficiency. While there is relief that such an apocalyptic future is unlikely, the prediction of a future without enough work to go around ought to be a significant concern. *While Susskind's prediction of a future with significantly reduced employment is well founded, his potential solution of implementing a CBI to provide the meaning and purpose lost from unemployment seems incomplete. With jobs no longer providing the sense of meaning and purpose, it is difficult for Susskind to find a solution to fulfilling these existential longings can be fulfilled. Unfortunately, he is unwilling to seriously consider a religious answer to these existential questions, which could help provide a more satisfying response. *What applications can Christians consider from this book? There are at least two. First, if Susskind's prediction of machines performing many jobs traditionally done by humans is accurate and unavoidable, then Christians need to reconsider what work means and how our concept of work may need to evolve. Due to a lack of available positions and the difficulties of acquiring the skills needed, not everyone will be able to enter the field of technology work. While the existence of much traditional work may disappear due to automation, we still need to understand what it means to pursue a calling. *Second, Christians should be part of the philosophical and ethical discussions surrounding computer and AI progress. As the technological field continues to progress at a rapid rate, questions regarding the moral status of machines and their ethical implications for humanity will naturally rise to the forefront. The worldview that shapes these important discussions will have a profound impact on how future technology is designed and created. *Overall, Susskind's book is a welcome addition to the growing literature on AI technology concerns. He helpfully points out the potential future consequences of AI technology from an economic standpoint. I would recommend this book as a resource for thinking through the potential future ramifications of an increasingly automated world. *Reviewed by Eddy Wu, IT Operations Manager and PhD student at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wake Forest, NC 27587.

Abstract:
Improving the reliability of decisions taken in the organization of maintenance and repair of electric power systems is one of the most important and difficult problems. It is important because erroneous solutions lead, first of all, to an increase in operating costs. The difficulty in solving this problem is associated with the lack of appropriate methods to reduce the risk of erroneous decisions. The article presents one of the aspects of this problem, i.e. improving the reliability of the decision on the nature of the relationship of technical and economic indicators of electric power systems. Traditionally, increase of reliability of the decision is reached by reduction of a Type I error. Usually it is accepted to be equal to 5%, occasionally – to 1%, and at researches – even to 0.5 %. The corresponding critical values of correlation coefficients are given in mathematics reference books. This method implicitly assumes that the consequences of a Type I error significantly exceed the consequences of Type II errors, and the distribution of correlation coefficients corresponds to the normal law. Therefore, the risk of an erroneous decision concerning the absence of a significant statistical relation is not controlled. But even if there is a wish to estimate the Type II error, it is almost impossible to fulfill it, because there are no critical values for correlation coefficients of dependent samples. No less relevant is the problem of deciding on the statistical relationship between technical and economic indicators in conditions of equality of consequences of erroneous decisions, i.e. it is necessary to take into account both a Type I error and a Type II error. To overcome the mentioned difficulties a new method for estimating the critical values of correlation coefficients has been developed. The novelty consists in the application of fiducial approach; the calculation of critical values are fulfilled with the aid of computer technologies of simulation of possible realizations of the correlation coefficients for the two assumptions, viz. technical and economic indicators of the independent and dependent; simulation is fulfilled with the method of solving the “inverse problem”, which enables the possible implementation of the correlation coefficients for the really dependent and independent samples of random variables at a given sample size; the developed algorithms and programs for calculation made it possible to obtain the critical values of correlation coefficients for independent and dependent samples; in conditions of the sameness of the consequences of erroneous decisions it is proposed to make a decision not based on critical value but based on the boundary values of the correlation coefficients that correspond to the minimum total risk of erroneous decisions; the exemplification of the recommendations application was made on example of technical and economic parameters of boilers of power units of 300 MWt. The significant impact of the availability of interrelated technical and economic indicators on the result of the ranking of boiler plants by the reliability and efficiency of their work is demonstrated.
