Abstract:
The term “cloud computing”, since its advent, has simultaneously transformed business and end user's needs. Cloud Computing with some of its main components like IT infrastructure is built on techniques such as distributed computers across Internet acting virtually as a very powerful servicing system. Now-a-days companies are having fixed managerial strategy to adopt a suitable cloud service. Cloud has succeeded to innovating business models for enterprises to run software applications with much reduced investment as compared to the long expensive history of how experts are utilizing computer resources and operating and developing IT based products. However at the same time, with all its up-to-date services, cloud computing has created new security challenges. Many new security threats are being created as the cloud technology is advancing at a phenomenal pace. This chapter aims to analyze a number of cloud security issues, their effect in various cloud computing environments that are currently present in the industry and attempts to reduce the severity of security challenges.

Abstract:
The “Maytag repairman” is the familiar image of field service. When servicing electronic equipment such as computers, however, the job is significantly more demanding than fixing washing machines. Not only are computers more complex than most other machines, they are also more central to the ongoing operations of an organization. Increasingly, everything an organization does depends upon electronic equipment in some way. Large computer systems are often expected to run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. When computers are such an integral part of an organization’s operations, maintaining the equipment is tantamount to keeping a person’s heart beating and blood circulating. Thus, unlike the idle television caricature, field service engineers are increasingly viewed as the paramedics for electronics who can quickly and ably respond to system crashes. At the same time that field service has become more demanding, the complexity of the job has increased. The “machinery” of the modern organization is less often composed of gears turning, typewriters clattering, and paper being shuffled. Instead, the sights and sounds of the modern organization consist of screens glowing, keys clicking, and, to the uninitiated, an assemblage of opaque, “black boxes.” Inside these boxes is a miniature world that gives no clue as to the nature of its inner workings. The field service engineer’s (FE) job and function have been growing while the size of the technology itself has been shrinking. His or her skill is less often exercised as a skilled craftworker in the repair of a part and more often as a skilled analyst who can understand the abstract workings and nature of electronics to identify the problem and trace it to the malfunctioning component. The required manual skills are often minimal, just enough dexterity to swap out a bad part for a good one usually suffices. At the same time, the scope of field service has expanded from just repairing worn and broken or defective parts to collecting information about design defects and debugging equipment that may have been released prematurely.

Abstract:
The solution to the task of improving the efficiency of technologies for the distribution of workpackages on the set of indicators, taking into account the workload of the executors has beenobtained. The technology of distribution and execution of work as a process of functioning ofthree-phase multi-channel mass service system is proposed. The discipline of applications servicein such a system is determined by solving the task of work distribution between the channels, and the results of modeling of its functioning cycles allow us to determine the channel occupancyby the time of distribution of the current work package. Mathematical models of single-criteriaand multi-criteria tasks with target functions of financial (material), time costs and quality of workare proposed. Double-criteria tasks with different combinations of local criteria are partialvariants of the multi-criteria task model. The parameters of the proposed models allow takinginto account channel occupancy at the moment of distribution of the current work packageand costs for their readjustment after previous work performance. In multicriteria models, it isproposed to use an accuracy-complexity effective function of utility of local criteria and universaladditive-multiplicative convolution of criteria on the basis of Kolmogorov–Gabor function. The practical use of the proposed models will allow in practice to obtain the more effectivesolutions to the tasks of their distribution by taking into account the employment of channelsand the cost of their reconfiguration after the previous work.

Abstract:
Today, there are more than 70 million people aged 60 and above in the European Union. According to Eurostat, over the next 15 years, the population aged 65 and over will increase by 22%. Many of these citizens will experience dexterity, cognitive, hearing, and sight problems in later life. This means that more than one in seven adults in Europe will have hearing problems. Some 7.4 million people already suffering uncorrectable sight loss will add to the number of European citizens experiencing some form of sensory impairment (Stallard, 2003). Interactive digital television (iTV) is evolving into an enhanced entertainment and information service. There are various degrees of interactivity in digital television: pressing a simple remote control button, sending information back and forth, or servicing providers by means of a return path. If they are to be adopted, interactive facilities need to be usable by viewers, even because, as Jacob Neilsen points out, “increased accessibility for users with disabilities almost invariably leads directly to improved usability for all users” (Slatin & Rush, 2003). Unfortunately, interactive digital television design appears to have been based on the conceptual models of keyboard-based systems, but their users, skills, goals and attitude of interaction differ. The TV audience is more diverse, some having no prior computer experience. It must be realised that iTV is not a PC and therefore cannot be treated as such.
