The conceptual design of a modular AUV hull in fiber composite material has been determined. The goal has been to minimize the hull weight. A composite of a PEEK thermoplastic matrix with high strength carbon fibers is picked as the most suitable material option and used for hull calculations. The engineering design process may be seen as a series of interrelated operations that are driven by decisions: each operation is carried out as the consequence of an associated decision. This is because the refuge is about producing 'independent women' in a setting that is not purpose built, within a period of three months. However, limited amount of research has been implemented to determine how MacroBIM has been accepted in the construction industry. Most research was focused on the accuracy of the conceptual estimation. This research attempted to determine the effectiveness of MacroBIM process applied at early stages of con

One of them was design thinking in which there were two paradigms: search model and reflection-in-action. Search model emphasized design systematicness, while reflection in action emphasized design unpredictability. To have both advantages, a now theory, visual reasoning, was developed. It might reveal some other essential quality of designing. The primary purpose of this research was to characterize the visual reasoning i

Therefore, the model of business organization is becoming common in multi-disciplinary cooperation with outsourcing resources. Communicating at a distance is necessary to deal with a virtual team. Even though the data conferencing represents as the solution of collaborative design, it is seldom available for synchronous communication by application vendors to integrate with asynchronous mode. In case we can find the environmental impacts of products on the stage of conceptual design, a large range of products’ specifications could be changed to improve the eco-properties of products. Some simple LCA methods are developed to be executed on the early design stage. However, there are some defects such as needing lots of data, lacking for precise estimated value and the complex operating processes etc. An improved method is propo

The goal of this study is to encode the complicated and uncertain design behavior by observing and analyzing the design sketch and thinking development. In the study, the oral protocol analysis is utilized to study the designer’s behaviors. And, the relationship between sketches and design thinking development has been well investigated. Five designers with different experiential backgrounds in design were invited to participate in the experiment
