Abstract:
Book design is carried out and elaborated within a space of compact size and limited storage amount. It is not easy to accomplish a novel attractive book design, as innovation is required and connotation of books should be embodied. Especially when faced with the impact from electronic media, we have difficulty designing a book with a strong material sense and rich space and time association if we continue to design a book using single thought for publishment without the sense updating. Conceptual book design, based on the traditional books, is an attempt to seek a new morphological book form which fully incarnates the personality and connotation of a book and seeks to display the possibilities of the book contents. This paper mainly explores the morphosemantic meaning in conceptual book design and expounds features and expressions of morph morphosemantic of conceptual books, in order to contribute to the development of book design.

Abstract:
AbstractThis paper provides an overview of the features of caregiver input that facilitate language learning across early childhood. We discuss three dimensions of input quality: interactive, linguistic, and conceptual. All three types of input features have been shown to predict children's language learning, though perhaps through somewhat different mechanisms. We argue that input best designed to promote language learning is interactionally supportive, linguistically adapted, and conceptually challenging for the child's age/level. Furthermore, input features interact across dimensions to promote learning. Some but not all qualities of input vary based on parent socioeconomic status, language, or culture, and contexts such as book-reading or pretend play generate uniquely facilitative input features. The review confirms that we know a great deal about the role of input quality in promoting children's development, but that there is much more to learn. Future research should examine input features across the boundaries of the dimensions distinguished here.

Abstract:
Rotational dynamics is one of topic in physics for high school students that require visualization of its concepts. This research developed an interactive e-book for physics learning with its features consisting of multimedia content such as audio, video, animation, and simple problem-solving activities. This e-book has been validated and recommended by a team of experts. This trial aims to determine the effectiveness of e-book by students in mastering concepts, using a. quasi-experiment. The sample was chosen using purposive sampling technique at senior high school with 42 students. Data were collected using multiple choice questions. The increase of student concept mastery is determined based on the N-gain score of pretest and posttest data. The results show that the average student response to e-book is 81% in the very good criterion. The N-gain scores for the equilibrium concepts of A and B classes are 0.79 and 0.70 in the high criteria, while, the concept of rotational dynamics are 0.66 and 0.66 respectively and in the medium criterion. The increase of conceptual mastery occurs in every cognitive domain (remembering, understanding, applying, analyzing, evaluating, and creating). In conclusion, the e-book has been effective in enhancing the mastery of student concepts.

Abstract:
Immunity has established itself as one of the most exciting and productive conceptual lenses being used in contemporary social theory. Ulbricht’s first book demonstrates why this is the case, through using the imaginary of immunity to explicate a selection of the features of liberal multicultural theory. Influenced by the work of Italian philosopher Robert Esposito, the book traces ideas of tolerance, consensus and rights as they appear across a selection of liberal theoretical interventions. After engaging with an impressive swathe of literature throughout his book, Ulbricht’s critical arrival point is an exciting use of Lefebvrian rhythmanalysis in a bid to supplant universal theories of multiculturalism with a recognition of multiculturalism as an intensely local and ad hoc human experience.

Abstract:
The scope of research in the article includes author’s vocabulary, or the vocabulary of the language of O. E. Mandelstam (based on the book of poems “Stone”). The research object is an author’s vocabulary entry as a system that has a structure and its own units. The basic research method is the method of poetic ideography as a kind of literary ideography and a type of general ideography in lexicographical perspective. The units under study are heterogeneous and diverse: these are units of a quantum and metafunctional nature. The former include units of prosody, lexical and conceptual units; the latter comprise units of a poetological and prosodic nature, as well as conceptual formations. The study reveals and characterizes typological features of the author’s vocabulary (of the language of O. Mandelstam), and introduces new features: poetological, prosodic, and interpretative. In general, the investigation is carried out within the framework of lexicography, ideography, textual studies, text linguistics, text hermeneutics, and text decoding (interpretation). The article establishes the operational order of description of poem units (the arrangement of the material in the author’s vocabulary is text-related), which corresponds to the set of systemic areas of the poetic text analyzed in the vocabulary entry: textual, poetological, prosodic, lexico-semantic, denotative, ideographic, and interpretative (based on the analysis of the system of functional-semantic field of vocabulary in a particular poem as the title unit of a vocabulary entry) spheres. The results of poetic-ideographical analysis correlate with the specific features of the poetic worldview of O. Mandelstam. The study suggests, illustrates, and analyzes a model and structure of a vocabulary entry of O. Mandelstam’s language. The degree of subjectivity/objectivity of the content of the interpretation sphere of a vocabulary entry is also determined. Furthermore, the authors conceptualize the nature, character, and structure of the interpretative sphere of a vocabulary entry. They analyze O. Mandelstam’s poem “Silentium”. The vocabulary entry contains eight structural elements. The logic of description and analysis of the units of the poetic text (by stanzas) is as follows: the title unit of the vocabulary entry – the poem → poetological information → prosodic information → semantic-denotative-ideographic information → interpretative sphere of the vocabulary entry. Interpretation of textual, general lexicographic, and ideographic information is performed with reference to the identification and analysis of paradigmatic (causative) series of conceptual formations implemented in the text word by word, line by line, and stanza by stanza (the units of interpretative analysis – vocabulary, phrase, utterance, complex syntactic construction and complex syntactic unity). Interpretation of conceptual formations is carried out taking into account the polysemy of the vocabulary. The interpretative sphere is the result of functioning of such a feature of the text as interpretability, or poliinterpretability, and also an outcome or generalized conclusion of the poetic and lexicographic study of O. Mandelstam’s poems.

Abstract:
Te article focuses on the foreignisms used in the multicultural novel “Te Book of Khalid” by Ameen Rihani. Foreign words in literature possess certain attractive power as well as produce esthetic and artistic effects. Along with creative force and meaning foreignisms may as well give the reader some notion of the author’s self-identifcation and self-representation as member of the literary intellectual community of Syrian and Lebanese frst emigrants in the frst half of the XX-th century. Te novel in question is characteristic of typical features related to Arab-American literature of that period. Stylistic and literary analysis of foreign words in the book gave the desired self-image of the author as a representative of the Arab community in the USA. Tis image comprises certain philosophical and religious principles, authentic social and cultural features, literary and stylistic uniqueness. Close analysis of foreignisms as a linguistic and stylistic means adds to the overall understanding of the novel including the underlying messages and conceptual implications.

Cass R. Sunstein’s bookThe Ethics of Influenceappears to have three ideological features notable for purposes of this essay. The book emphasizes choice architecture (and related notions such as nudges and defaults), which should be ethically scrutinized to guard against ethical abuses and to assist us in ethically desirable uses of scientific psychology and behavioral economics. (1) This particular book focuses more on scrutinizing nation-state government than on corporate activities. (2) This book focuses more on domestically directed governmental action than on externally directed governmental action. (3) This book focuses more on certain developed liberal democracies than on the more comprehensive global situation. Sunstein is especially interested in environmental issues, particularly energy policy, global warming, and climate change. This essay argues that Sunstein’s conceptual scheme can be fruitfully expanded to progress toward a normative environmental ethics that can be integrated with the insights of global political economy.

The field of application of results. The results of this research can be applied to study the issues of Economic History and History of Economic Thought, History of the Publishing Industry. Conclusions. Thus, the staff training system for the book-trading network, including the publishing cooperative, had some specific features. Compared to the program to train workers of printing production, where the state took part actively, the financing for the training of booksellers and cooperative publishers was totally devoid of state support. This was the fundamental position of the Soviet state, which, despite the New Economic Policy, continued “to look" at the sphere of trade and the associated need to study the book market, as a relic of capitalism. It is undeniable that giving the cooperative the opportunity to organize a training system for the book-trading network to some extent intensified the market relations in the republic, facilitated the study of the specificity of readers' demand as well as stimulated the development of publishing activity in Ukraine. However, the peaceful coexistence of the socialist-organized production of printed matter and the market system of its proliferation lengthy until the end of the 1920s, when, together with the cooperative publishing houses, a training staff system for the book trade was state-controlled.

The object of research in this work is a series of books by the Kommersant publishing house on the history of Yekaterinburg. The subject is the conceptual features of a series of books by Kommersant Publishing House. The master's thesis "Conceptual features of the Kommersant Publishing House book series on the history of Yekaterinburg" consists of an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion, an appendix, and a bibliographic list that includes 74 titles. In the first chapter of the study, various points of view on the definition of a serial publication are studied, the book series is characterized as a type of publication, the features of editorial training are examined, the main conceptual features of the book series are identified, and the marketing concepts of the publishing image and brand are analyzed. Based on the research work, a plan for the analysis of serial publications was compiled. In the second chapter of the dissertation, on the basis of the developed plan, a practical analysis of empirical material is carried out - a book series on the history of Yekaterinburg of the Kommersant-Ural publishing house (hereinafter - Kommersant Publishing House). As a result of practical analysis, the conceptual features of the Kommersant Publishing House book series have been identified, which make it possible to distinguish this series in a special type of serial publication, which has certain substantial, structural, compositional, artistic and marketing characteristics. It was revealed that a series of books as an editorial product can act as a tool for forming a publishing brand and create a certain image of a publishing house. The results of the study can be used by other publishers to promote their own publishing brand or to develop an exclusive book series, as well as in the process of training undergraduate and graduate students in the specialty of Publishing.

Patterson, Merryl Joy. "Testing the weighted salience model of conceptual combination." Diss., Texas A&M University, 2003. http://hdl.handle.net/1969.1/270.

Full text
Abstract:
In two experiments the Weighted Salience Model (WSM) of conceptual combination was examined. Several of the hypotheses set forth in the WSM were evaluated, including the importance of salience of constituent features, differential interpretation strategies based on similarity, an initial reliance on the modifier as opposed to the head, and a context effect of salience reorganization. Results confirmed that the hierarchy of output dominance within constituent features was important in determining features in final combinations. Additionally, similar pairs were defined with property interpretations more frequently than were dissimilar pairs, and dissimilar pairs were defined with relation interpretations more frequently than were similar pairs. Context effects were demonstrated through the finding that target features were found more often in primed than unprimed pairs. The hypothesis of modifier superiority was not confirmed. These findings indicate that the WSM adds to the current understanding of conceptual combination through a reliance on output dominance and the importance of context. Despite these strengths, changes to the WSM may be necessary if future studies fail to support the importance of the modifier over the head noun.

Panayi, E. "Modelling empirical features and liquidity resilience in the Limit Order Book." Thesis, University College London (University of London), 2015. http://discovery.ucl.ac.uk/1468873/.

Full text
Abstract:
The contribution of this body of work is in developing new methods for modelling interactions in modern financial markets and understanding the origins of pervasive features of trading data. The advent of electronic trading and the improvement in trading technology has brought about vast changes in individual trading behaviours, and thus in the overall dynamics of trading interactions. The increased sophistication of market venues has led to the diminishing of the role of specialists in making markets, a more direct interaction between trading parties and the emergence of the Limit Order Book (LOB) as the pre-eminent trading system. However, this has also been accompanied by an increased fluctuation in the liquidity available for immediate execution, as market makers try to balance the provision of liquidity against the probability of an adverse price move, with liquidity traders being increasingly aware of this and searching for the optimal placement strategy to reduce execution costs. The varying intra-day liquidity levels in the LOB are one of the main issues examined here. The thesis proposes a new measure for the resilience of liquidity, based on the duration of intra-day liquidity droughts. The flexible survival regression framework employed can accommodate any liquidity measure and any threshold liquidity level of choice to model these durations, and relate them to covariates summarising the state of the LOB. Of these covariates, the frequency of the droughts and the value of the liquidity measure are found to have substantial power in explaining the variation in the new resilience metric. We have shown that the model also has substantial predictive power for the duration of these liquidity droughts, and could thus be of use in estimating the time between subsequent tranches of a large order in an optimal execution setting. A number of recent studies have uncovered a commonality in liquidity that extends across markets and across countries. We outline the implications of using the PCA regression approaches that have been employed in recent studies through synthetic examples, and demonstrate that using such an approach for the study of European stocks can mislead regarding the level of liquidity commonality. We also propose a method via which to measure commonality in liquidity resilience, using an extension of the resilience metric identified earlier. This involves the first use of functional data analysis in this setting, as a way of summarising resilience data, as well as measuring commonality via functional principal components analysis regression. Trading interactions are considered using a form of agent-based modelling in the LOB, where the activity is assumed to arise from the interaction of liquidity providers, liquidity demanders and noise traders. The highly detailed nature of the model entails that one can quantify the dependence between order arrival rates at different prices, as well as market orders and cancellations. In this context, we demonstrate the value of indirect inference and simulation-based estimation methods (multi-objective optimisation in particular) for models for which direct estimation through maximum likelihood is difficult (for example, when the likelihood cannot be obtained in closed form). Besides being a novel contribution to the area of agent-based modelling, we demonstrate how the model can be used in a regulation setting, to quantify the effect of the introduction of new financial regulation.

Paynter, Helen Elizabeth. "Reduced laughter : seriocomic features and their functions in the book of Kings." Thesis, University of Bristol, 2015. http://ethos.bl.uk/OrderDetails.do?uin=uk.bl.ethos.681729.

Full text
Abstract:
This thesis explores how the interpretation of Kings might be enlightened by applying a hermeneutic developed from the work of Mikhail Bakhtin, a Russian literary critic. Bakhtin demonstrated how the social construct of carnival has made its way into some literature, which he terms seriocomic. Diagnostic criteria for seriocomic literature are: violation of linguistic norms; inversion of hierarchy and oxymoronic combinations; the fool and 'masking'; crowning/decrowning; 'odd feasts'; grotesque and scatological elements; profanation; and fantasticality. Application of these diagnostic features to the book of Kings reveals a florid outburst of seriocomic features within the central (northern) texts of the book. There are some unresolved 'enigmas' in the book of Kings, including the surprising prominence of the nation of Aram; the dubious ethical content of some of the prophets' actions; and I Kings 19: 16-17, where Elijah is commanded to anoint Hazael, Jehu and Elisha. The proposed hermeneutic helps resolve these enigmas. I Kings 19: 16-17 opens an inclusio which closes in II Kings 13. Within this inclusio, certain important themes are developed, including the subversion of the prophetic role, and the subversion of the nations of Aram, Israel and Judah. Additionally, another literary device is identified, which helps to address the other two enigmas, the mise-en-abyme (literary mirroring). In the case of Elijah and Elisha, repetitions of circumstance draw our attention to compare the two men. The seriocomic features of the text subvert the reader's attitude to Elisha, and then by shadowing, scorn is diverted towards Elijah. Similarly there is a complex web of symmetries, pairs, mirrors and parallels between the nations of Aram, Israel and Judah. The text repeatedly directs the reader's scorn and mirth towards Aram, but on each occasion the narrative turns, and disdain is diverted to Israel, and thence to Judah

Green, Johanna M. E. "Judgement Day I, Resignation A and Resignation B : a conceptual unit in the Exeter Book." Thesis, University of Glasgow, 2012. http://theses.gla.ac.uk/3725/.

Full text
Abstract:
This thesis offers an examination and analysis of the manuscript compilation of three poems: Judgement Day I, Resignation A and Resignation B (ff.115v-19v) found in Exeter Cathedral Library MS 3501. It argues that paratextual information including textual division, subordination and manuscript layout are indicative of compiler intention and are significant in the interpretation and subsequent editing practice of Old English texts. An examination of other Old English manuscripts reveals that compilation of this sort was not uncommon; this compilation is indicative of the intended function of the poems as conceived by the manuscript compiler. Evidence from Old English homilies provides a context for the compilation of JDayI with ResA and ResB, where the poems can be seen to share themes common to sets of Rogationtide homilies. An analysis of the use of textual division markers found throughout the Exeter Book manuscript is also provided. This thesis is divided into five main sections: methodology; thematic evidence; contextual evidence; manuscript evidence; and a transcription of JDayI, ResA and ResB. Section I presents the methodology which informs this study, examining the significance of manuscript context in the interpretation and editorial practice of Old English poetry; it also provides an editorial rationale for the semi-diplomatic transcription of Section V. Section II: Thematic Evidence provides an individual review of each poem’s critical history, genre classification and literary analysis, and re-evaluates the poems anew. Section III: Contextual Evidence brings together the thematic evidence of Section II to argue the poems were compiled together in the Exeter Book because they reflected themes common to Rogationtide homilies. Using evidence of similar manuscript compilation in Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, MS 201 (CCCC 201) and in the Vercelli Homilies (specifically VercHomXIX-XXI) it is argued the three Exeter Book poems were placed together for use during Rogationtide, and thereby designed to promote compunction, confession and penance among the audience. Section IV: Manuscript Evidence examines the layout and textual division of these three texts and results displaying the textual division and subordination practice found throughout the Exeter Book manuscript are provided. Finally, Section V: Transcription presents a diplomatic transcription of the texts with facing facsimile image to reflect their manuscript context. The original contributions of this thesis are therefore twofold: i. It presents original data and analysis of textual division practice used in the Exeter Book manuscript ii. It provides thematic, contextual and manuscript evidence of manuscript compilation of JDayI, ResA and ResB and provides an explanation of the purpose such compilation sought to offer.

With Narracube a format was developed that can invite stories to be told beyond single voices, linear time and fixed points of views. Narracube highlights the active role of a medium in transmission of a message. A book is never a neutral container for ink but an active space of communication in its mere contruction despite its content.<br>Projektet Bokens språk Volume I-III utforskar den konceptuella och kroppsliga upplevelsen av att läsa och göra böcker.

Abstract:
Architects and designers are obligated to think comprehensively to create aesthetically pleasing buildings together with functional features. The modern movement of architecture represents a dramatic movement in the buildings design to create a different functional and new architecture. There is a debate about the priority of beauty (aesthetics) and functionality (ethics) in this architectural style and leads to ambiguity in evaluating ethics and aesthetics. Hence, the study aims to understand the relationship between ethics and aesthetics value in architecture's modern movement. This study hypothesizes that there is a significant relationship between ethical and aesthetical values through the functionality of modern architecture. The study has proposed a conceptual model to be applied in future studies on different case studies. This is through assessment tools to evaluate the presence of ethics and aesthetics in modern architectural style.

In ASME 2016 International Design Engineering Technical Conferences and Computers and Information in Engineering Conference. American Society of Mechanical Engineers, 2016. http://dx.doi.org/10.1115/detc2016-59136.

Full text
Abstract:
Many companies are facing the challenge to extend their degree of external product differentiation whilst reducing internal complexity and costs due to increased economies of scale. Therefore, companies often develop modular product platforms. Initially, they were applied by the automotive industry but since have been exploited to various other industries, e.g. machinery and plant engineering. Based on a modular product platform a number of product variants and product generations can be efficiently derived. However, a simple transfer of the automotive approach to other cases of application is more likely to miss the full potential as well as the targets of a modular product platform. Taking into consideration that a company-specific platform concept is dependent on the influences of the environment the company interacts with, there is no universally applicable solution when it comes to modular product platforms. Hence, modular product platform concepts in industrial practice vary depending on the exogenous circumstances and individually targeted benefits, pursued by the initiative. However, at a certain level of abstraction, modular platform concepts, regardless of individual circumstances or targets, remain comparable through features describing the conceptual structuring. Therefore, the conceptual design of a modular product platform can be described by generally valid and discrete Conceptual Structural Features. From a development perspective, these features and their respective characteristics represent the conceptual design options addressing a company’s individual circumstances and targets. From a retrospective point of view, the features and their respective characteristics can equally be employed to compare existing modular product platform concepts across a vast range of industries and applications with respect to the individual target system. In this paper, seven essential Conceptual Structural Features and associated characteristics are identified. After defining the relevant terminology and reviewing adjacent fields of research, this paper focuses on a broad literature review in the field of Conceptual Structural Features of modular product platforms. A trinomial approach is used to extract the variety of different Conceptual Structural Features. In addition to the derivation of these features from different conceptual approaches for the development of a modular product platform, features of procedure induced design as well as classifying features are identified as relevant Conceptual Structural Features. Companies that configure the identified Conceptual Structural Features concerning their exogenous circumstances and individually targeted benefits are more likely to increase their level of target achievement. After the identification of Conceptual Structural Features, future research focuses on the development of a method for a context and target compliant development of a modular product platform structuring concept. Hence, companies are enabled to proactively configure the identified Conceptual Structural Features during the early development stage according to the individual platform target system as well as to the exogenous circumstances. Moreover, the results of this paper facilitate a cross-industry discussion on a comparable basis in the form of the identified Conceptual Structural Features among companies applying a modular product platform approach.

Le Maux, Laurent. Bagehot for Central Bankers. Institute for New Economic Thinking Working Paper Series, 2021. http://dx.doi.org/10.36687/inetwp147.

Full text
Abstract:
Walter Bagehot (1873) published his famous book, Lombard Street, almost 150 years ago. The adage “lending freely against good collateral at a penalty rate” is associated with his name and his book has always been set on a pedestal and is still considered as the leading reference on the role of lender of last resort. Nonetheless, without a clear understanding of the theoretical grounds and the institutional features of the British banking system, any interpretation of Bagehot’s writings remains vague if not misleading—which is worrisome if they are supposed to provide a guideline for policy makers. The purpose of the present paper is to determine whether Bagehot’s recommendation remains relevant for modern central bankers or whether it was indigenous to the monetary and banking architecture of Victorian times.

Nelson, Gena. Proportional Reasoning Interventions in Special Education Synthesis Coding Protocol. Boise State University, 2021. http://dx.doi.org/10.18122/sped136.boisestate.

Full text
Abstract:
The purpose of document is to provide readers with the coding protocol that authors used to code nine group and single case design intervention studies focused on proportional reasoning interventions for students (grades 5-9) with learning disabilities (LD) or mathematics difficulty (MD). The studies yielded intervention effects ranging from g = −0.10 to 1.87 and from Tau-U = 0.88 to 1.00. We coded all of the studies for variables in the following categories: study information, intervention features, dependent measures, participant demographics, LD and MD criteria and definitions, instructional content, study results, and quality indicators for group and single case design. The study quality indicator coding portion of this coding protocol was adapted from Gersten et al. (2005) and Horner et al. (2005). This code book contains variable names, code options, and code definitions. The mean interrater reliability across all codes using this protocol was 91% (range across categories = 82%–96%). The publication associated with this coding protocol is Nelson et al. (2020).

Full text
Abstract:
The article clarifies of gender identity stereotypes in modern media. The main gender stereotypes covered in modern mass media are analyzed and refuted. The model of gender relations in the media is reflected mainly in the stereotypical images of men and woman. The features of the use of gender concepts in modern periodicals for women and men were determined. The most frequently used derivatives of these macroconcepts were identified and analyzed in detail. It has been found that publications for women and men are full of various gender concepts that are used in different contexts. Ingeneral, theanalysisofthe concept-maximums and concept-minimum gender and their characteristics is carried out in the context of gender stereotypes that have been forme dand function in the society, system atizing the a ctual presentations. The study of the gender concept is relevant because it reveals new trends and features of modern gender images. Taking into account the special features of gender-labeled periodicals in general and the practical absence of comprehensive scientific studies of the gender concept in particular, there is a need to supplement Ukrainian science with this topic. Gender psychology, which is served by methods of various sciences, primarily sociological, pedagogical, linguistic, psychological, socio-psychological. Let us pay attention to linguistic and psycholinguistic methods in gender studies. Linguistic methods complement intelligence research tasks, associated with speech, word and text. Psycholinguistic methods used in gender psychology (semantic differential, semantic integral, semantic analysis of words and texts), aimed at studying speech messages, specific mechanisms of origin and perception, functions of speech activity in society, studying the relationship between speech messages and gender properties participants in the communication, to analyze the linguistic development in connection with the general development of the individual. Nowhere in gender practice there is the whole arsenal of psychological methods that allow you to explore psychological peculiarities of a person like observation, experiments, questionnaires, interviews, testing, modeling, etc. The methods of psychological self-diagnostics include: the gender aspect of the own socio-psychological portrait, a gender biography as a variant of the biographical method, aimed at the reconstruction of individual social experience. In the process of writing a gender autobiography, a person can understand the characteristics of his gender identity, as well as ways and means of their formation. Socio-psychological methods of studying gender include the study of socially constructed women’s and men’s roles, relationships and identities, sexual characteristics, psychological characteristics, etc. The use of gender indicators and gender approaches as a means of socio-psychological and sociological analysis broadens the subject boundaries of these disciplines and makes them the subject of study within these disciplines. And also, in the article a combination of concrete-historical, structural-typological, system-functional methods is implemented. Descriptive and comparative methods, method of typology, modeling are used. Also used is a method of content analysis for the study of gender content of modern gender-stamped journals. It was he who allowed quantitatively to identify and explore the features of the gender concept in the pages of periodicals for women and men. A combination of historical, structural-typological, system-functional methods is also implemented in the article. Descriptive and comparative methods, method of typology, modeling are used. A method of content analysis for the study of gender content of modern gender-labeled journals is also used. It allowed to identify and explore the features of the gender concept quantitatively in the periodicals for women and men. The conceptual perception and interpretation of the gender concept «woman», which is highlighted in the modern gender-labeled press in Ukraine, requires the elaboration of the polyfunctionality of gender interpretations, the comprehension of the metaphorical perception of this image and its role and purpose in society. A gendered approach to researching the gender content of contemporary periodicals for women and men. Conceptual analysis of contemporary gender-stamped publications within the gender conceptual sphere allows to identify and correlate the meta-gender and gender concepts that appear in society.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the analysis of the main forms of visualization in the media related to photo. The thematic visual concepts are described in accordance with the content of electronic media, which consider the impact of modern technologies on the development of media space. The researches of the Ukrainian and foreign educational institutions concerning the main features of modern photo is classificate. Modifications and new visual forms in the media are singled out. The main objective of the article is to study the visual concepts of modern photo and identify ideological and thematic priorities in photo projects. To achieve the main objective in the article a certain methodology were used. Due to the historical-theoretical description it was possible to substantiate the study of visual concepts. The conceptual-system method was used to study the subject of media photo projects. The main results of the research are the definition of visual concepts of photo on the example of electronic media and the identification of the main thematic features in the process of visual filling of the media space. Based on the study, we can conclude that today the information field needs quality visual content. For successful creation of visual concepts it is necessary to single out thematic features of modern photo and to carry out classifications on ideological and semantic signs. Given the rapid development of digital technologies, the topic of the scientific article we offer is relevant for scientists, journalists, media researchers, visual journalism experts and photojournalists. Modern space is filled with a large number of pictorial materials, which in most cases form specific images, patterns or stereotypes in the mind of the reader (viewer). Also important is the classification of photo used in journalistic publications. That is why there is a need to explore the content and principles of distribution of ideological priorities of photo in the media. The substantiation of scientists about the important place of photography in the modern media space and the future development of visual technologies, which already use artificial intelligence, is relevant.
