Conductometric measurement technique has been deployed to study the kinetic behavior during the reaction of poly(ethylene terepthalate) (PET) and NaOH. A laboratory made arrangement with facility of continuous stirring was used to carry out experiments at desired temperature. With conductometry, the determination of kinetic as well as thermodynamic parameters becomes more simple and faster as compared to gravimetry. Chemical kinetics of this reaction shows that it is a second order reaction with reaction rate constant 2.88×10-3 g−1 s−1 at 70°C. The specific reaction rates of the saponification

The correlation method for measuring of the coolant fl rate is used in the operation of nuclear power plants and is widespread in research practice including study of turbulent fl hydrodynamics. However the question of its applicability and possibilities in studies using the matrix conductometry method remains open. Earlier the algorithm for determining of the correlation fl rate using a conductometric measuring system was highlighted and the error of the results obtained was estimated and the dependence of the influence of noise and the time of data collection on the reliability of results wa

This diploma thesis deals with acid-base and electrolytic behavior of hyaluronan solutions at different ionic strength. Acid-base behavior of hyaluronan was investigated by acid-base titrations which were carried out with two different methods, acid and alkaline acid-base titration. Dissociation constants at different ionic strength at zero degree of dissociation and at 50% degree of dissociation were evaluated from the results of acid-base titrations. Dissociation constants obtained from acid acid-base titrations have values between 3,0 and 3,6. Dissociation constants obtained from alkaline a

This chapter presents an overview of the fundamental principles of the electrochemical approach to the study of plant mineral nutrition. This is particularly crucial for investigating the kinetics of macronutrient ion absorption by plant roots, alterations in leaf mineral nutrition status due to external and internal factors, and other related processes. The two principal methodological approaches to electrometry, as outlined in the section, are conductometry (the measurement of electrical conductivity in water solutions and tissue extracts) and ionometry (the determination of ions by means of
