Abstract:
Copolymers (HEPP-EG) were synthesized by the condensation of 2-hydroxy-4-ethoxypropiophenone with ethylene glycol in presence of polyphosphoric acid as a catalyst. The copolymers were characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectra, viscosity and thermal studies. The number-average molecular weight (Mn) was measured by non-aqueous conductometric titration. The copolymer HEPP-EG-6 was complexed with metal ions, Cu2+, Ni2+, Co2, Mn2+ and Zn2+ and characterized. Chelation ion-exchange properties have been studied by employing the batch equilibration method.

Various disperse dyes based onm-phenylenediamine have been prepared. These dyes then polycondensation with 4,4'-Diphenyl methane diisocyanate. The resultant colored polyureas were characterized by N content, IR spectral studies, Number Average Molecular Weight (Mn) estimation by nonaqueous conductometric titration and thermogravimetry. All the polyureas were subjected to measure electrical conductivity at room temperature.

The stability constants and related thermodynamic functions characterizing the formation of divalent Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd and Hg complexes with o- and p-aminobenzoic acid hydrazide were determined potentiometrically at different temperatures. The formations of the complexes are endothermic processes. The formed bonds are mainly electrostatic. Conductometric titration was carried out to determine the stoichiometry and stability of the formed complexes. The structures of complexes were characterized by their IR, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR spectra, as well as X-ray diffractograms. The coordination process take

Abstract:
Temperature-induced percolation in water/AOT/oil microemulsions in the presence of mono-, di-, and tri-ethanol amines have been studied using conductometric measurements. The percolation temperature of water/AOT/oil microemulsions depends on the nature of the alkanol amine added. Mono- and di-ethanol amines hinder the percolation process, while triethanol amine promotes the process. Percolation studies were also conducted with varying ω = [H2O]/[AOT] values and varying chain lengths of continuous oil phase (C6–C10). The results indicate that increases in both ω and the chain length of the oil

Conductivity plays vital role in drug diffusion. Thermodynamic parameters affected by substituents of drug. Thermodynamic parameters of 1, 3, 5 –triazinothiocarbamide (1a) have been investigated by using conductometrically carried out at different molar concentrations. This work highlights investigation of G, K and µ values. The thermodynamic parameters viz. ΔH, ΔS and ∆G for ion pair formation determine from the value of ion association constant. This technique is suitable and accurate to study of pharmokinetics and pharmodynamics parameters.
