Abstract:
El autor del artículo explora la narrativa de Enrique Congrains que reproduce sin dificultad el proceso mediante el cual el migrante pobre entraba en la escena de la ideología criolla. La producción narrativa de Congrains estuvo fuertemente influida por el periodismo escrito, tal como el relato estudiado en este artículo y que proviene del libro homónimo. “Lima, hora cero” nos vuelve al submundo de las urbanizaciones clandestinas, asentamientos construidos en los márgenes físicos de la ciudad moderna y habitados por sus sectores socioeconómicos más pobres, desde una perspectiva épica, trágica, propia de la fantasía criolla.

Abstract:
ResumenEl significativo crecimiento demográfico de Lima a partir de los años cincuenta tiene como base el desplazamiento de un número creciente de inmigrantes de la región andina hacia ella, principalmente de origen campesino. En las primeras oleadas, los limeños de toda condición social ponían desde reparos hasta rechazo a la presencia de estos inmigrantes, con escasa o nula experiencia urbana y arraigadas prácticas culturales originarias. Esto sucede en el contexto de favorables cambios en la economía y la aspiración a copiar formas de vida propios de una sociedad moderna. El impacto social y cultural en una ciudad en tránsito a la modernización va a ser el motivo de historias plasmadas en los cuentos y novelas de los escritores de esos años, principalmente de Enrique Congrains. A su obra, representativa de este fenómeno, se suman personajes e historias en la obra de Julián Huanay y Julio Ramón Ribeyro,entre otros. Palabras clave: ciudad criolla, migrantes andinos, experiencia urbana, cultura originaria. AbstractThe significant population growth of Lima from the 1950s is based on the displacement of an increasing number of immigrants from the Andean region towards the capital, mainly from a peasant population. In the first waves, people from Lima of all social status made everything from qualms to rejection to the presence of these immigrants, with little or no urban experience and ingrained original cultural practices. This happens in the context of favorable changes in the economy and the aspiration to reproduce life forms typical of a modern society. The social and cultural impact in a city in the transition to modernization will be the reason for stories embodied in the tales and novels of the writers of those years, mainly Enrique Congrains. To his work, which is representative of this phenomenon, are added characters and stories in the work of Julián Huanay and Julio Ramón Ribeyro, among others. Keywords: Creole city, Andean migrants, urban experience, native culture.

(2) Untuk mengimplementasikan Metode Linear Congruent Method (LCM) Aplikasi Pembelajaran Proses Daur Air Dan Peristiwa Alam Pada Mata Pelajaran IPA Kelas V SD Berbasis Android. Pada perancangan aplikasi ini, pemgembangan sistem yang digunakan yaitu UML (Unified Modeling Language). Sedangkan pembuatan aplikasi perangkat lunak dalam penulisan ini menggunakan perangkat lunak Adobe Profesional CS6, CorelDraw, Adobe AIR, PhotoShop dengan menggunakan metode LCM (Linear Congrate Methode). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah media pembelajaran yang dapat memudahkan siswa untuk saling berinteraksi dalam belajar dan menciptakan pembelajaran yang tidak membosankan, serta mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.

Según indica el título, intento ofrecer un panorama de la narrativa peruana de la segunda mitad del siglo XX, panorama del que se excluye a J. M. Arguedas y M. Vargas Llosa por haber sido objeto de un estudio aparte. Para evitar una lista superficial de autores y obras, me centraré en algunos títulos paradigmáticos y representativos para una etapa o tendencia, como son los relatos de O. Reynoso y E. Congrains para la «Generación del 50». Justa fama han obtenido J. R. Ribeyro por sus cuentos despojados y A. Bryce Echenique por sus novelas rebosantes de humor y ternura. En los años 70 la multiculturalidad toma el relevo con textos sobre los mundos judío (I. Goldenberg), negro (G. Martínez) y chino (K. W. Siu). Para la década del 90 son representativos tres textos de M. Gutiérrez, E. Rivera Martínez y L. Riesco sobre el problemático mestizaje. Sin embargo, desde la irrupción de Sendero Luminoso, muchos escritores se ocupan de la violencia que sumía a la sociedad peruana en el abismo (F. Ampuero, A. Cueto, S. Bossio).

Abstract:
Esta investigación tiene como finalidad realizar un acercamiento entre el campo literario y los estudios de género. Asimismo, pretende sostener que la Literatura puede brindar nuevos panoramas para explorar las relaciones de género y los cambios y permanencias que pueden producirse en ella. Para dicho propósito, abordamos el estudio de la novela No una, sino muchas muertes desde la perspectiva bajtiniana de la Literatura. Bajo estos conceptos se pudo fijar el vínculo que sostiene la novela con la sociedad. Luego pasamos a analizar las representaciones de masculinidades y feminidades que en el texto se configuran. Para ello hemos escogido cinco personajes que nos permiten a través de sus discursos y conductas establecer estas representaciones y la dinámica que en el interior de estas existe. Por otra parte, nuestro estudio se concentró especialmente en el personaje protagónico de Maruja, pues es ella quien nos permitió relacionar su discurso y conducta a la categoría de la mascarada como táctica femenina para insertarse en el sistema masculino. De este modo, este personaje refracta una nueva representación femenina que se erige en las mujeres migrantes de las barriadas de Lima de los años cincuenta.

Abstract:
El capítulo uno está organizado y desarrollado en dos grandes secciones. En el primer subtítulo abordaremos de manera general y sistémica la narrativa del cincuenta en el marco de los procesos sociopolíticos y económicos de mediados del siglo XX en el Perú y de la problemática cultural de las letras peruanas, específicamente en el sector editorial. Luego, continuaremos con la revisión de la narrativa del cincuenta, desde cuatro puntos específicos: 1. Un breve balance de la narrativa del cincuenta 2. La búsqueda de la modernización narrativa y la innovación a través de las influencias de autores extranjeros, 3. La preocupación y reflexión de los escritores por el surgimiento de la novela de Lima, 4. La representación de la marginalidad. En el segundo subtítulo nos dedicaremos a Enrique Congrains, para ello, en primer lugar, revisaremos los planteamientos de la crítica entorno a su narrativa, centralmente en Lima, hora cero (1954), desde el ámbito temático y estilístico. Para finalmente revisar los comentarios e investigaciones críticas que se han vertido sobre la novela No una, sino muchas muertes (1957) dentro de tres ejes: el espacio, el personaje de Maruja y el estilo narrativo. Asimismo, trataremos de aproximarnos a la propuesta estética del autor, a fin de comprender el surgimiento de la novela en cuestión. Por otra parte, con la última sección, reflexionamos acerca del porqué de la escaza investigación especializada sobre la novela. Todo ello nos servirá, en primer lugar, para fundamentar una consciencia escritural en el autor, es decir, que tanto la forma como el contenido son parte de un todo integral, y para evidenciar que sí hay vínculos entre los recursos estilísticos y la representación de espacios y personajes marginales, pero aún falta determinar cuáles son con exactitud. De esta forma, se pretende contribuir a la crítica literaria sobre la narrativa del cincuenta y, específicamente, establecer los puntos de partida para el estudio profundo y coherente sobre la narrativa de Enrique Congrains Martin.

Para tal fin se hizo uso, en principio, de parte del método semiótico que nos permitirá aislar las unidades semánticas y categorías isotópicas, que nos servirán para poder describir las distintas percepciones de Lima y su sociedad. Los resultados obtenidos fueron analizados mediante el uso de categorías sociológicas y literarias que permitirán unir el texto con sus autores y con la historia.

Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS) is a powerful method frequently used for composite power system adequacy assessment. However it requires a considerable amount of time to provide accurate estimates for the reliability indexes. In the last years, mathematical approaches have been developed, for instance variance reduction techniques, with the aim to speed up this process. More recently, the MCS method has been implemented in parallel using a Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) to take advantage of the fast calculations provided by these computing platforms, resulting in reduction of the simulation time. In this dissertation, a new approach is developed to shrink simulation time by apllying Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), trained on a GPU.

Abstract:
In 1949, after WJMR fired Vernon Winslow, the black paper the Louisiana Weekly hired him as an advertising agent. He also wrote a nightlife gossip column called “Boogie-beat Jive.” In 1950 WMRY was the first local radio station to revamp its programming from white-oriented to exclusively black content. In his column, Winslow critiqued the on-air presentations of the new black DJs whom WMRY hired. He chimed about the good and the bad. George "Tex" Stephens was one of them whom he criticized and later praised. In 1957 WMRY phased out and morphed into WYLD. A year later, WBOK emerged as the city's first racially mixed station playing hillbilly music along with popular black music.
