Abstract:
At the present stage of development of Russian society, the activity of psychologists is becoming more and more in demand; in the last 2 years, in order to provide society with the necessary specialists, training is carried out not only in the higher education system, but also as part of retraining, which is conducted online for free in accordance with the federal project of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation to promote employment. The purpose of the article is to consider the role, structure and functioning of categorization as the main mechanism of mental activity of clinical psychologists. It presents an attempt to generalize the theoretical concepts of social and general psychology regarding the process of categorization as the main mechanism of thinking of clinical psychologists. The article describes in detail the characteristics of practical thinking, the structure and process of categorization as a mechanism of diagnostic thinking. In addition, it is concluded that intuitive decisionmaking about the methods of psychological infl uence on patients and research approach to the analysis of problems arising during therapeutic interaction, are special cases of categorization and recategorization of situations.

Abstract:
The article discusses the types of counseling in the practice of a practical psychologist. Types of psychological counseling in the theory of psychological systems are analyzed. The necessity of working in the value-meaning fields of the psychologist and the client, joint solution of the task as a method of consultative practice is substantiated. It is shown that within the framework of this methodology, the process of psychological counseling is perceived as an open, connected psychological system, the poles of which are the psychologist and the client. The openness of this system is determined by the openness of the psychologist and the client and openness towards each other. The difference of this approach lies in changing the essence of the interaction between the psychologist and the client, in which the effectiveness of their interaction is a consequence of the improvement of the process of mutual understanding. The main thing for a practical psychologist who thinks in the categories of the theory of psychological systems should be the creation of that reality, deepening into which helps the client to rethink his misfortune and his life situation in a new way and in a certain direction. At the same time, the practical psychologist has to solve the task of the meaning and value of his own consulting activity, since the actual subject of consulting changes (from the psychology of the psyche to the psychology of the person), which leads to a new stage of professional self-determination, which requires the psychologist to have updated methods of professional thinking. Key words: psychological counseling, psychologist-client interaction, counseling psychology, types of psychological counseling.

Abstract:
The article presents the experience of designing the educational module "Special and Developmental Teaching" of School Psychology Master’s program. The modular-sized program includes practical training and research activity in each module in a networking, it complies with Federal State Educational Standard and professional teaching and educational psychology standarts. Practice-oriented education Master’s training model based on the activity and competence approaches is productive. We have shown the advantages of networking and the need to divert more resources towards practical training and to include research activity in particular module. It is necessary to teach educational psychologists not only to "know", but also to "knows how", to have professional thinking and metasubject competencies, to have the capacity for reflection, i. e. to operate in an uncertain environment for new schemes on the basis of the scientific method. It is important that the modular principle design allows adding training subjects from one of educational program to other and so developing new programs.

Abstract:
Mind mapping is an effective graphic thinking tool for expressing divergent thinking proposed by Tony Buzan, a world-renowned psychologist and educator. It is a practical thinking tool that is simple, yet effective and efficient at the same time. Mind mapping develops students thinking skills, logical skills, etc. This study aims to investigate the development of metacognitive ability of students through the production of mind mapping. Through a review of related literature, the study found that mind mapping can promote students categorization and organization skills, help students discover and understand new relationships, improve problem-solving skills, and facilitate the deposition of learning outcomes. In addition, mind mapping production requires student participation, thereby improving students metacognitive ability. The literature access suggests that the production of mind mapping has a significant effect on the development of students metacognitive ability, and it should be introduced into education. In the future, the production method of mind mapping should be further optimized, and its application scenarios should be studied to improve students learning effectiveness and metacognitive ability development.

Abstract:
The article describes the peculiarities and possibilities of cognition of the pralogical thinking of the psyche in the process of dialogue-psychoanalytical interaction of a psychologist with a respondent in groups of active social-psychological cognition (ASPC). The fact of the preservation of informational equivalents of the psyche under the conditions of its transcoding into thematically visualized forms of drawn and objectified self-representations is asserted. The paper summarizes the results of over forty years of analytical and professional training of psychologists for practical work. The purpose of the paper is to identify deviations of “Self” from the reality that are not controlled by the psyche, which reliably signal the subject’s personal problems. The objectification of the drawn self-representation process in ASPC groups contributes to the observation and research (in the dialogue interaction of the psychologist with the respondent), which has a mediated nature related to the objectivity of the psyche. This determines the accessibility and equality of opportunities for each ASPP group member in participation, in processing the results of self-representation, which helps to objectify the destruction of the psyche, which signal about their personal problems (deviations from reality for the sake of the interests of the “Idealized Self”). The main research method is the active social-psychological cognition (or rather, its transcripts), which is based on psychodynamic methodology. The general prerequisite for the implementation of the specified method is the process of objectification by the ASPC participants of their own psyche, followed by the analysis in the form of a dialogue between the psychologist and the respondent, with periodic intermediate and generalizing interpretative conclusions. The result of the study is the expansion and deepening of self-awareness by the ASPC participants, which catalyzes the leveling of the destruction of their psyche, generated by an internal stabilized contradiction (personal problem), which is subject to in-depth cognition on the objectified and accessible visual material, which results in psychocorrection. Conclusions. The effectiveness of a person’s participation in ASPC groups is based on awakening the self-preservation instinct due to strengthening the rationality of the logical thinking. Therefore, diagnostic and corrective cognition of the psyche by a future psychologist is extremely important for the development of their professional skills when helping other people.

Abstract:
peculiarities of the formation of social intelligence in psychologists. The definition of the essence of the concept of "social intelligence" in psychology is analyzed. Social intelligence is seen as a separate type of intelligence that is practical and different from abstract intelligence. It is a stable, based on the specifics of mental processes, affective response and social experience, the ability to understand themselves, other people, their relationships and predict interpersonal events. Since social intelligence is considered a multidimensional, complex structure, the following aspects are distinguished: communicative-personal potential, characteristics of self-awareness, social perception and social thinking, ability to understand and model social phenomena, understanding of people and motives, mental and physical endurance, activity. Attention is drawn to the fact that this is a type of intelligence that provides intelligent human behavior in social interaction based on the integration of the results of social cognition, personal characteristics and self-regulation of social behavior. The problem of determining the requirements for a professional psychologist is studied, the peculiarities of the professional activity of a specialist are analyzed and social intelligence in the structure of professionally important qualities of a psychologist is substantiated. It is emphasized that the problem of development of social intelligence in practical psychologists is currently very relevant, because their professional activities are based on direct interaction with people and providing them with psychological assistance. It is emphasized that the best option is when the psychologist has a high level of development of social intelligence. In this case, they are characterized by sensitivity to the nature of social relationships, the ability to successfully apply a wide range of social roles, a high level of control over their own behavior, emotional self-regulation. The main methods of research of features of formation of social intelligence at the psychologist are analyzed: social and psychological adaptation, communicative and organizational inclinations, an estimation of level of sociability. The sample, stages of research are characterized and the received results of studying of features of formation of social intelligence at psychologists are analyzed.

Abstract:
A consultant psychologist aiming to achieve specific results within a defined timeframe faces the challenge that the effectiveness of their work depends on two opposing demands. On the one hand, the consultant must adhere to a specific action strategy to guarantee achieving the desired outcome. On the other hand, the client must be highly engaged in the problem-solving process and have the freedom for creative work and personal development. The article aims to describe a technology for harmonizing sensory-emotional states based on the principles of a system-thinking-activity approach topsychological counseling. Our aim is to combine the consultant's strategic orientation and the client's creative freedom within one technology. We used the scheme of psychological counseling in a system-thinking-activity approach and the principles of itsimplementation as a method of configuration. The object of psychotechnical work is the symbolic representations of sensory-emotional states, and the psychotechnical tools used are Clean Language and Symbolic Modeling. The article examines the action strategy of a consultant psychologist and discusses the principles, foundations, and mechanisms of psychological counseling within the system-thinking-activity approach. Methods of their implementation within the technology are also considered. Particular attention is given to the features of the psychoactive metaphor as a sign-symbolic representation of sensory-emotional states and the means of working with it.The study investigates the scheme that allows the consultant to manage the process of exploring the client's own symbolic space. It describes reflective transitions that both the client and the consultant go through during problematization and the development of schemes for organizing thought and action. It also includes a detailed description of oneof the tactics for reconstructing symbolic representations, along with an example of its practical implementation.

Abstract:
This essay focuses on the reflections of a planning agent on her distinctive synchronic norms of practical thinking. It develops the idea of planning agency that is self-reinforcing by way of considerations of self-governance: given that one is a planning agent whose practical thinking is guided by basic planning norms—something for which there is good reason—one’s self-governance will be such that conforming to those norms is partly constitutive of that self-governance. This helps articulate a framework within which (a) pragmatic grounds for planning agency quite generally, combine with (b) normative reasons of self-governance for conformity to basic norms in the particular case. This framework can be brought to bear by a reflective planning agent in support of basic norms of synchronic plan rationality. And this supports an interpretation of the idea that these norms are peremptory.

Abstract:
Our human capacity for planning agency plays central roles in the cross-temporal organization of our agency, in our acting and thinking together, and in our self-governance. Intentions can be understood as states in such a planning system. The practical thinking essential to this planning capacity is guided by norms that enjoin synchronic plan consistency and coherence as well as forms of plan stability over time. This book’s essays aim to deepen our understanding of these norms and defend their status as norms of practical rationality for planning agents. General guidance by these planning norms has many pragmatic benefits, especially given our cognitive and epistemic limits. But appeal to these pragmatic benefits does not fully explain the normative force of these norms in application to the particular case. In response, some think these norms are norms of theoretical rationality on belief; or are constitutive of agency; or are just a myth. These essays chart an alternative path, which sees these planning norms as tracking conditions of a planning agent’s self-governance, both at a time and over time. This path articulates associated models of self-governance; it appeals to the agent’s end of her self-governance over time; and it argues that this end is rationally self-sustaining. This end is thereby in a position to play a role in our planning framework that is analogous to the role of a concern with quality of will within the framework of the reactive attitudes, as understood by Peter Strawson.

Abstract:
Abstract This chapter explores how common law and continental systems tackle the ‘black boxes’ that evolve during the administration of the punishment (in-prison rehabilitative progress, (un)expected excessive prison suffering, and conditional release), with a focus on judicial decision makers. The chapter suggests that addressing the ‘black boxes’ of punishment is important for making retributivists more attuned to the ‘realpolitik’ of incarceration and for ensuring that judicial moral authority is more closely connected to responsibility for the punishment and for the practical consequences of their actions. We argue that a ‘Robertsian’ approach to sentencing requires the conceptualization of sentencing as a complex, holistic, and ongoing process rather than as a simple, one-time, and unidimensional act. Such an approach requires more serious thinking about the ‘black boxes’ of imprisonment and their meaning for penal theory and policy and for promoting consistency, fairness, and justice.

Abstract:
Thinking is a mental activity that individuals engage in when faced with a situation or problem, attempting to find suitable solutions. It is an integral part of the human behavioral pattern that determines compatibility with the external environment. Critical thinking aims to shape the mind to judge ideas, perceptions, and other judgments to assess their logical consistency before adoption. This research sought to investigate the components of critical thinking in the educational process within the field of architectural engineering at two levels: the competence of curriculum implementation and the competence of the teaching staff across all academic stages. The research utilized theoretical conceptual frameworks that addressed the concept of critical thinking, its components, and criteria, considering its significance in the academic educational process and aligning it with quality performance standards at both levels. The findings revealed clear deficiencies in activating critical thinking components at the researched levels, as indicated by the comprehensive questionnaire included in the practical study and the identified indicators in the research results

Abstract:
Latin American psychology, although greatly under-represented in international journals, can provide important lessons for international psychologists. Mexican psychologist Rogelio Díaz-Guerrero was one of the first to describe would now be labeled an indigenous psychology. Latin American theorists such as Paolo Freire and Ignacio Martín-Baró have provided frameworks for understanding diversity and multiculturalism among groups with unequal power. Only by critical thinking and critical analysis can we understand and challenge disparate conditions. Relatedly, Latin American psychology often focuses on achieving social justice and solving practical real-world problems. Thus, community and political psychology are strengths of Latin American psychology and have made contributions to the understanding of multiculturalism and activism. Finally, the high proportion of youth in Latin American countries makes their well-being a priority and innovative research has worked to identify and promote talent among young people. Examples of Latin American contributions, personal lessons learned, and suggestions for incorporating knowledge and perspectives from Latin America are highlighted.

Abstract:
The methodology of study is based on a new educational thinking – to use analytics to build ideas and make them better. The article analyzes the equity of a new product in terms of consistency of the equity of a new brand. The aim of the study - to identify the new product's consistency quality importance on the new brand equity when the customer chooses a new product (the example: candy in boxes). Theoretical study was based on the analysis of scientific literature, synthesis, logical generalisation, graphic modeling and a survey (2017 (n = 416)). Analysing the equity of the new product consistency for the new brand equity structure. Recognizing that consumer choice depends on the equity of the new consistency of the product offered to him by the firm's offer, the practical test of the scientific concept has been chosen from the original study, analyzing the equity of the candys in boxes as a new product for the consumer. The results allow us to make assumptions about what elements of the new consistency of the product could influence the success of the new brand on the candy market. The consistency quality of a new food product is essential factor of a new brand equity. The results of the study lead to conclusion that new food product (candys in boxes) Lithuanian shoppers perceive the importance of consistency quality and assess the identity (as unique products) (between high and medium value), which is forming a positive image of the product (quality assurance). The results of the research can be applied to the needs of the consumers of the Lithuanian candys in boxes market.

Abstract:
In the traditional design process, for determining the form of a single project or product, designers often need to create hundreds to thousands of sketches. However, in the field of cruise ship interior decoration design, this issue becomes more complex. Each large cruise ship has thousands of rooms. Due to restrictions on room types and user needs, they each require unique interior decoration plans; at the same time they must maintain consistency with the theme of the entire cruise ship. Therefore, in the process of cruise ship interior design, designers often have to draw thousands of detailed interior design drawings. Facing such a huge amount work task under an industrial age background undoubtedly puts great pressure on designers. As we gradually step into the era of artificial intelligence, generative AI technology continues to achieve significant breakthroughs, such as ChatGPT and Midjourney, which can generate required images or text information based on keywords or prompts. Designers leverage these advanced technologies like AIGC to generate images by inputting a few keywords and can thus create vast image resources to provide them with abundant sources of inspiration. This method significantly enhances the design efficiency and creative quality of designers in an academically translated way. However, stark differences exist between the comprehension of images by artificial intelligence generative technology and designers. Machines struggle more with understanding adjectives than other types of words, such as 'luxurious' or 'classical', which are highly associated with people's cognitive preferences. Designers often find in using AIGC that the system-generated images do not fully meet their anticipated needs; a large proportion of the images generated by AIGC require subsequent adjustments and cannot be directly applied. This raises the issue at focus in this research: there is a discrepancy between human cognition of vocabulary and machine understanding. Therefore, in this context, we have chosen cruise ship interior design as the case study for our research. From a designer's perspective, we delve deeply into understanding the cognitive discrepancies that exist between artificial intelligence and humans. Firstly, we thoroughly examine the differences in understanding adjectives between AI and humans, incorporating existing research results to empirically construct a semantic evaluation scale specifically for cruise ship-related terminology. This scale aims to describe, measure and analyse these cognitive discrepancies and ultimately provide an effective tool to assist cruise ship interior designers conduct innovative designs more accurately and efficiently. The method adopted in this research is the integration of Kansei engineering and AI generative technology AIGC applied to the relatively novel field of cruise ship interior design, combined comprehensively with Semantic Differential (SD) approach. The SD method can use adjectives to reflect group preferences for images and environments to a large extent. We have selected the most representative words associated with cruise ship style through analysis, collected typical images, and categorized them. Then we utilized the SD method to conduct detailed analysis on accumulated vocabulary and pictures, creating descriptive statistical reports which ultimately form a language evaluation scale specifically reflecting elements and concepts characteristic of cruise ships. In theoretical terms, this study employs the method of Kansei Engineering to construct a semantic evaluation scale specifically for cruise interior design, thereby further enriching the evaluation framework in this field. In practical terms, it introduces AIGC as an aid to stimulate designers' innovative thinking and provide reference image inspiration to enhance their overall design efficiency.
