This article explores the link between value co-creation, a project's success and satisfaction of the project's stakeholders. It also looks at how a project's success mediates the relationship between value co-creation and the stakeholder's satisfaction. A quantitative approach with an online questionnaire was used to collect data from a sample of 140 respondents in Ghana. Data were analysed using partial least square structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM). The results show that value co-creation positively and significantly relates to a project's success and stakeholder satisfaction. The fin

The economic feasibility of a project is typically measured by the increase in the value of GRDP achieved as a result of the project's generation effect. Ease of access, as well as the availability of adequate transportation and infrastructure, can reduce logistics costs and thus lower the price of goods in circulation. This research navigates the intricate landscape of the risk management in the construction industry. This paper also illuminates its profound influence on the success of the project. Diverse risk mitigation strategies have been investigated based on the impact of the same in the critical project metrics, such as adherence schedule, quality benchmark, and control of the cist; all this combined forms the foundation of this research. The objective of this research revolves around evaluating the correlation of the project's outcomes with the identification of risk. This quantifies the mitigation s

Abstract:
The construction industry is labour-intensive, and any conflict involving workers affects the project's overall performance. The present study identified potential conflicting factors and assessed the relative influence of those factors on the performance of workers. A total of nine conflicting factors were identified based on relevant literature. A questionnaire survey was prepared, and responses were collected from workers by visiting four construction sites in India. The data was then analysed using descriptive statistical methods. It was found that payment delay and overworking were the mo

Abstract:
The use of drone technology in capital projects is an emerging area that holds promise for growth. Drones are becoming more widely available, and regulatory bodies are gradually allowing their use on a larger scale. With the development of software solutions that can effectively utilize data, drones are increasingly being used throughout the entire lifecycle of capital projects, including smaller infrastructure projects. The benefits of using drones in construction projects are numerous and include providing an unparalleled record of all activities, reducing planning and survey costs, increasi

Abstract:
In the last two decades there has been an increased contribution of the private sector, through some form of public-private partnership (PPP), to finance transport infrastructure in general, and roads in particular, in both the developed and developing worlds. Such contribution has helped several countries to maintain, rehabilitate and expand their road networks, including the construction of new motorways, bridges and tunnels. Some governments have increased the public contribution to potential PPP road projects to make them attractive to private investors. Such support may take the form of g

Abstract:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) construction projects have multiple stakeholders that collaborate with project delivery team members during the execution of these projects. Many of these stakeholders are located across the U.S., which makes virtual interactions a common communication method for these teams. These interactions often lack spatial visualization, which can add complications to the progress reports provided and how the information is received/interpreted. The visualization of project progress and documents would be invaluable to the stakeholders on critical projects constr

Abstract:
Construction is a large sector of the economy and plays a significant role in creating economic growth and national development, and construction of transportation infrastructure is critical. This project developed a method to detect, classify, monitor, and track objects during the construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation of transportation infrastructure by using artificial intelligence and a deep learning approach. This study evaluated the performance of AI and deep learning algorithms to compare their performance in detecting and classifying the equipment in various construction scenes.
