Abstract:
Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan asas constante justitie pada peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku di Indonesia, serta untuk mengetahui sinergitas proses beracara jika menggunakan sarana media internet e-mail dalam mewujudkan contante justitie. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian normatif. Penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan bertumpu pada studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan bahan hukum primer dan bahan hukum sekunder. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa meski prinsip contante justitie telah diatur dalam ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan di Indonesia, yaitu pada Pasal 2 ayat (4) Undang-Undang Nomor 48 tahun 2009 tentang Kekuasaan Kehakiman, namun pada praktiknya masih ketinggalan zaman, khususnya pada proses beracara jawabmenjawab, karena dilaksanakan secara “tradisional” dengan mewajibkan para pihak untuk menghadiri dan mengajukan surat (secara fisik) di depan persidangan.

Penuntut Umum dalam membuat dakwaan suatu dugaan tindakan pidana yang dilakukan oleh lebih dari satu terdakwa acap kali melakukan pemisahan perkara atau sering disebut dengan splitsing, kemudian dengan berkas perkara yang terpisah para terdakwa saling bersaksi untuk satu sama lain. Praktek demikian mengakibatkan proses persidangan menjadi berbelit-belit sehingga bertentangan dengan asas contante justitie. Memunculkan saksi dari perkara splitsing juga beresiko melanggar hak asasi Terdakwa karena mereka harus bersaksi atas tindak pidana yang dituduhkan kepada dirinya sendiri sehingga beresiko memberikan keterangan yang memberatkan dirinya sendiri, hal tersebut bertentangan dengan asas non self-incrimination. Pasal 142 KUHAP mengatur mengenai pemisahan perkara, dan mengatur dengan jelas bagaimana perkara dapat dilakukan pemisahan perkara. Namun dalam prakteknya pemisahan perkara tidak sesuai dengan maksud dan tujuan dari KUHAP yang diciptakan untuk memberikan penghargaan yang besar terhadap hak asasi manusia, justru sebaliknya digunakan untuk melanggar hak asasi manusia.

Abstract:
El presente trabajo de investigación es resultado de un rastreo contante de la variable inflación tanto en México como en Zacatecas por parte de cinco docentes-investigadores de dos unidades académicas de la Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas, México durante el periodo 2012-2017. Los datos que se manejan fueron obtenidos de fuentes directas e indirectas que al contrastarlas con las oficiales (tanto federales como estatales), nos indican que la inflación ha tenido repercusiones directas en las compras de bienes y servicios que realizan de manera periódica la clase trabajadora de México y Zacatecas. En el sistema económico mexicano, la inflación en el período 2012-2017 se mantuvo bajo control por parte de las autoridades encargadas de ello. Es uno de los mayores logros obtenidos en materia económica del actual sexenio, una inflación por debajo del 10%. Ese indicador económico en México es resultado de una férrea contención del salario de la mayoría de los trabajadores, los cuales sufren el embate empresarial y gubernamental, lo mismo que de sus mismos sindicatos al no propiciar acciones tendientes a subir el bajo salario que tienen desde hace tiempo. Esta tendencia de bajas salariales en el sistema mexicano es resultado de negociaciones anuales sostenidas por la llamada comisión tripartita: trabajadores representados por sus sindicatos, empresarios que se agrupan en varias organizaciones y el sector gubernamental encabezado por la Secretaria de Trabajo y Previsión Social. Al mismo tiempo se escuchaban voces del mismo sector empresarial que proponían de inmediato un aumento a los salarios mínimos en México, argumentando que debe ser por arriba de los 150 pesos al día. También era noticia la posición de sectores económicos canadienses que establecen una posición de crítica contante hacia el bajo nivel salarial de la mayoría de los trabajadores en México.

In dit artikel wordt de wijze waarop woningcorporaties omgaan met jaarrekeningaspecten rond vennootschapsbelasting behandeld. De jaarrekeningen van de grootste 50 woningcorporaties zijn daartoe onderzocht. Op een aantal gebieden zijn goede jaarrekeningvoorbeelden (best practices) overgenomen uit de jaarrekeningen en van kort commentaar voorzien. Het belangrijkste aspect betreft de verwerking en waardering van tijdelijke verschillen in de jaarrekening. Het blijkt dat nagenoeg alle woningcorporaties contante waarde toepassen als waarderingsgrondslag voor de waardering van tijdelijke verschillen. Deze grondslag leidt vervolgens veelal tot een nihil-waardering voor vastgoed in exploitatie met een vervangingsdoel. Deze waardering hangt voor wat betreft belastbare tijdelijke verschillen samen met de fiscale doorschuiffaciliteit waarmee de fiscale afrekening in beginsel onbeperkt kan worden uitgesteld. Voor verrekenbare tijdelijke verschillen hangt de nihil-waardering samen met de onzekerheid met betrekking tot fiscale winstrealisatie. Uit het artikel blijkt dat het overgrote deel van de woningcorporaties latente belastingvorderingen heeft opgenomen die vanuit verschillende bronnen zijn ontstaan. Specifiek hebben we de toelichting op de waardering van voorwaartse verliescompensatierechten onderzocht. In het artikel wordt ook ingegaan op de hoogte van en de toelichting op het effectieve belastingtarief inclusief aansluitingen met het toepasselijke belastingtarief. De mediaan van het effectieve belastingtarief ligt op het lage percentage van 4. De fiscale doorschuiffaciliteit doet zich gelden in dit lage percentage. Tot slot is onderzocht hoe de samenhang tussen de te vormen herwaarderingsreserve en de opgenomen tijdelijke belastingverschillen is toegelicht. Op dit onderdeel is de kwaliteit van de toelichting bij het merendeel van de onderzochte woningcorporaties ondermaats. Het artikel sluit af met een nabeschouwing waarin de belangrijkste bevinding van dit onderzoek - de in de populatie gangbare praktijk van waardering tegen contante waarde leidend tot nihil-waardering van de belastbare verschillen – op zijn merites wordt beoordeeld.

L'ultrafiltration assistée par les micelles (UFAM) a été utilisée pour la récupération des ions plomb (II) en milieu acide (Phosphorique et perchlorique) à la température 318K. Le dodécylsulfate de sodium (SDS) a été choisi comme agent tensioactif. Des taux de rétention de 99% ont été obtenus dans des conditions optimales de pression, de concentration en SDS, de vitesse de circulation du fluide et de pourcentage du volume filtré. L'équilibre d'échange ionique qui s'effectue entre le contre ion de la micelle et le cation métallique ajouté (Pb2+), a été caractérisé par une contante Ke(Na+/Pb2+)=1,39. Afin d'étudier la performance de l'UFAM dans les milieux acides, l'étude a été effectuée à concentration de Pb(II) constante et en variant le pH. À des pH supérieurs à 1,8 la rétention est supérieure à 95%.

El objetivo de la investigación es el analizar los retos y perspectivas que se generan en el uso de las plataformas virtuales por parte de los docentes de las instituciones educativas del Cantón el Tambo – Ecuador. Metodológicamente fue de tipo descriptiva no experimental transversal, la muestra poblacional estuvo conformada por 62 maestros de la Unidad Educativa “Mushuk Kawsay” del Canton el Tambo – Ecuador. Se concluye que en las instituciones educativas debe existir un equipo tecnico que de soporte a los dosentes en relacion al menejo de las plataformas virtuales, por lo que al manipular o estar en contante uso de las mismas van generando dudad o problemas y es necesario que la institucion cuente con un departamento de soporte tecnico para que no se genere malestar, frustracion por parte de los docentes y quienes esten manejando plataformas virtuales en el proceso academico.

La presente ponencia expone las generalidades del trabajo de investigación titulado "La Mujer como Pacificadora del Conflicto entre Israel y Palestina", la cual expone las bases del proyecto así como las acciones que las mujeres han llevado a cabo para representar una alternativa para la solución de este conflicto. Desde la proclamación del Estado de Israel en 1948 hasta la actualidad, la violencia entre ambas partes ha sido contante y ha causado la muerte de miles de personas, es por ello que tanto Israel como Palestina deben llegar a un mutuo acuerdo pacífico para concluir con dichas atrocidades. El objetivo de la investigación expuesta es demostrar que las mujeres palestinas e israelíes, por medio del movimiento Women Wage Peace [WWP], actúan como pacificadoras del conflicto árabe-israelí al integrar una serie de acciones que las acerca a crear una posible solución pacífica.

Abstract:
La seguridad industrial es un relevante para las empresas debido al uso contante de herramientas, maquinarias y equipos, creando un entorno de trabajo lleno de riesgos y peligros para los trabajadores. Por ello, hay normas que exigen la utilización de los EPI tales como el casco para prevenir accidentes y enfermedades ocupacionales. Sin embargo, en la actualidad no existe una solución tecnológica en este ámbito que proporcione en tiempo real información tanto al trabajador como al personal médico y al departamento de seguridad industrial, y que alerte al trabajador sin equipos adicionales o la necesidad de personal especializado en mediciones ambientales como túneles o minas. Por ello, en este trabajo se propone un casco de seguridad inteligente que podría ayudar a reducir el índice de accidentabilidad de los trabajadores. El casco utiliza componentes electrónicos como dispositivos de alerta y puede analizar niveles nocivos de gases, con el fin de prevenir enfermedades ocupacionales a corto y largo plazo a consecuencia de la actividad que realizan los trabajadores.

Pada prakteknya, ketepatan mengenai jangka waktu penyelesaian perselisihan hubungan industrial di Pengadilan Hubungan Industrial Medan masih banyak yang belum maksimal. Hal ini terbukti dengan masih banyaknya putusan yang melampaui batas waktu ideal yaitu 50 hari sebagaimana yang tercantum di dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 2 Tahun 2004 Tentang Penyelesaian Perselisihan Hubungan Industrial. Permasalahan ini akan berdampak kepada penerapan Asas Contante Justitie. Pelaksanaan yang kurang optimal tersebut disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor seperti minimnya kesadaran dari para pihak yang untuk menghadiri jadwal sidang yang sudah ditentukan dan disepakati bersama serta disebabkan juga oleh bantuan atau panggilan delegasi yang menghambat waktu penyelesaian perkara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah kesesuaian jangka waktu penyelesaian perselisihan hubungan industrial di Pengadilan Hubungan Industrial Medan dengan yang tercantum di dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 2 Tahun 2004. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah yuridis empiris dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif yaitu data yang diperoleh, baik primer maupun sekunder, akan disajikan secara deskriptif, dan kemudian diberi suatu kesimpulan, data diperoleh dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi.

El trabajo analiza la adaptación como un conjunto de actividades dinámicas e innovadoras que permiten la integración de la vida académica primaria a la secundaria. La transición de una etapa educativa a otra es un proceso de adaptación que implica retos, esfuerzo y constancia, sabiendo que se trata de un cambio importante en la vida académica y socioemocional de los estudiantes. En el enfoque de este trabajo fue mixto de tipo descriptivo, la población de estudio correspondió a 44 estudiantes entre hombres y mujeres correspondiente a los octavos años de Educación Básica de la Unidad Educativa Fiscal Los Vergeles, como principales resultados se obtuvo que a los estudiantes les cuesta integrarse con sus pares especialmente en las primeras semanas del ciclo académico, además que las actividades dentro del aula son poco dinámicas y no permiten una contante integración, así también las nuevas reglas establecidas por la institución los aleja fuertemente de su etapa de niños. En conclusión la aplicación de estrategias que permitan la adaptación escolar y la integración académica y socioemocional está ligada a las estrategias institucionales, de aula y familiares que se ejecuten pues permiten una comunicación asertiva construyendo aprendizajes académicos y socioemocionales saludables.

Dit artikel gaat over het financieel management van Nederlandse ondernemingen bij Europese investeringen en de patronen die in de investeringsprocessen te herkennen zijn. Hiertoe zijn zowel de strategische analyse, de financiële investeringsselectie, de risico- en financieringsaspecten, als het organisatiegedrag geconceptualiseerd. Het resulterende model is vervolgens toegepast op zeven investeerders, waaronder vier beursgenoteerde: Numico, Randstad, Nutreco en Boskalis. Het gaat om in hun sector vooraanstaande investeerders, onder meer variërend qua groeistrategie (greenfields of overnames), omvang van de onderneming, omvang van de investeringen en wijze van ondernemingsbesturing. Bij het toetsen van een investering gaat het om de financiële waardecreatie. De wijze van internationalisering ligt voor het investeren al vrijwel vast. Meer of minder uitgewerkte strategische analyses geven de kaders voor de financiële waardering. Als financiële modellering uitgebreider en diverser wordt, verschuift het accent van boekhoudkundige naar contante waarde selectiemethoden. Financiële risico’s doen er niet altijd evenzeer toe. Financieringsaspecten krijgen bij de toetsing en daarna een eigen plaats. Organisatorische aspecten en gedragsaspecten spelen veelal geen zelfstandige rol, maar het werken aan cultuur en communicatie blijkt belangrijk te zijn.

Abstract:
<p>La fritura es un proceso en el que se evidencia pérdida de humedad y ganancia de aceite en los productos. Cambios atribuidos a la temperatura del proceso y el tiempo de residencia del producto en aceite caliente. En este estudio se realizó la cinética de perdida de humedad y absorción de aceite durante la fritura por inmersión de arveja (Pisum sativum L.) variedad Sureña. Se evaluó tres temperaturas 160, 180 y 200 °C, y tiempos de entre 0 y 8 min; la relación producto/aceite se mantuvo contante 1:6 (p/v). La cinética de absorción de aceite se estudió con un modelo exponencial, mientras que la pérdida de humedad se estudió con el modelo de newton. Los modelos estudiados describen adecuadamente los dos fenómenos de transferencia de masa. Las constantes cinéticas calculadas a 160, 180 y 200 °C fueron: absorción de aceite (0.0084, 0.0088 y 0.0094 s-1) y pérdida de humedad (0.0125, 0.0144 y 0,0194 s-1) mientras que los valores de difusividad obtenidos fueron (0.1551 x 10-9, 0.1787 x 10-9 y 0.2371x 10-9 m2/s). Tanto la difusividad como los parámetros cinéticos presentan dependencia con la temperatura al evaluarlos, con la ecuación de Arrhenius se obtuvo la energía de activación 18.13 kJ/mol.</p>

Tegenwoordig zijn in de jaarverslagen en jaarrekeningen van veel ondernemingen zoveel begrippen te vinden waarin de term winst voorkomt, dat men het spoor bijster raakt. Het is daarbij ook nog populair om het in het Engels te zeggen. Naast nettowinst, bedrijfswinst en operationele winst ziet men dan net earnings, earnings before interest, earnings before interest and taxes, earnings before interest, taxes and amortization en ga maar door. Alsof het al niet warrig genoeg is, komt daar de laatste jaren de discussie bij over fair value accounting. Hierbij worden activa en passiva gewaardeerd op marktwaarde en is een verschil in marktwaarden tussen begin- en eindbalans de winst. Is de marktwaarde niet objectief meetbaar aan de hand van marktnoteringen, dan zal deze moeten worden bepaald door het berekenen van de contante waarde van de geschatte netto-inkomensstroom dat het actief of passief oplevert. Sommige deskundigen spreken hier alle lof over uit, want dit is toch wel het summum van een economisch winstbegrip. Het lijkt of alle waarden uit onze bedrijfseconomie overboord zijn gezet.

El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo determinar los factores familiares y pedagógicos que involucran en el desarrollo de competencias de estudiantes universitarios, específicamente en la Facultad de Ciencias de la salud de la Universidad Señor de Sipán, la metodología fue cuantitativa, con un diseño no experimental, descriptivo; para ello se elaboró una encuesta usando los medios tecnológicos de Formulario Google aplicado a 300 estudiantes, las teorías que se han estudiado recae en la del aprendizaje significativo de Ausubel, formación de competencias de Tobón, aprendizaje por descubrimiento de Bruner, en tal sentido los resultados han confirmado que la familia es el ente básico de motivación en el estudio de los estudiantes, en el que el apoyo es esencial, se concluyó que la metodología del docente es en la actualidad la opción más significativa de poder desarrollar en los estudiantes las competencias necesarias para abrir el interés por la carrera profesional en la que están inmersos; asimismo los docentes de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud de la Universidad Señor de Sipán tienen un adecuado proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje considerado bueno para fomentar el interés del universitario, por ello siempre se debe optar por la capitación contante, usar nuevas metodología de enseñan como la tecnología y sobe todo relacionar las situaciones cotidianas hacia el involucramiento de casos con la temática del sílabo, no dejando de lado el uso de recursos educativos para mantener siempre motivaos a los estudiantes.

Brasil e Moçambique são países ligados pela mesma língua materna, por processsos de colonização, pela literatura, arte e imigração. Ao mesmo tempo, se constroem por bases históricas, culturais, etapas colonizatórias e trajetórias particulares. Em meio às suas dissonâncias e encontros, partilham histórias de vidas e desafios estruturais. O que pode Moçambique, com raízes em África, e a América Latina brasileira compartir e ensinar uma a outra? A educação tem sido uma linguagem referencial de comunicação entre ambos os países, e o contexto da Covid-19 muito os afetou nesse setor. Historicamente, Moçambique e Brasil intercambiam estudantes, especialmente pelo impulso fornecido pela Década Internacional dos Afrodescendentes (2015-2024), decretada pela ONU. A cooperação internacional África-Brasil/Brasil-África fortifica as bases de uma troca intelectual e coloboração sistêmica de um pacto Sul-Sul, em contante expansão e aprofundamento. Em março, Brasil e Moçambique decretaram a quarentena para seus cidadãos, com o encerramento das atividades escolares para evitar a propagação do novo coronavírus nos países. Nessa entrevista, concedida pelo Professor Doutor Jorge Ferrão, Reitor da Universidade Pedagógica de Maputo (UPM) - a primeira universidade pública criada no pós-independência - nos abre uma miríade de questões e diálogos importantes para pensarmos o que conecta e distancia as realidades moçambicanas e brasileira; seus respectivos desenvolvimentos político-sociais e suas particularidades; o impacto da pandemia na educação em Moçambique e como podemos pensar sobre novas propostas educacionais. El presente artículo parte de la idea de que el sistema competencial expuesto en el sistema educativo español se sustenta en una nueva episteme para reproducir unas identidades en coherencia con aquellos que ejercen el poder. A partir de este marco tendremos como objetivo proponer un diseño pedagógico que permita desarrollar identidades emancipadoras desde la narración y la corporalidad mediante las artes escénicas durante la educación secundaria obligatoria. En cuanto a la metodología, nuestra propuesta partirá de las potencialidades del recuerdo, el cual liberaremos de un horizonte veritativo para focalizarlo en cómo la identidad guía el ejercicio del recuerdo, siendo conscientes de que el poder deriva la fragilidad de la memoria hacia la fragilidad de la identidad. Así, nos centraremos en cómo construir mediante la evaluación espacios de intersubjetividad que puedan ser balizas de resistencia a los implusos homogeneizadores de la memoria colectiva. Con tal de hacer efectivos los espacios intersubjetivos utilizaremos la investigación-acción artística como proceso creativo y reflexivo, además expondremos dos ejes temáticos que nos permitan cuestionar nuestra identidad. Por un lado, tendremos el telón de fondo de la IIª República, la guerra civil y el franquismo. Por otro lado, introduciremos un relato ficticio que nos guie por los procesos de normativización de los cuerpos, donde aparecerá como elemento contante la obra The Plague de Robert Gerhard. Nuestra aportación plantea un nuevo horizonte educativo al guiarnos por las artes escénicas en la construcción de posibles tramas intersubjetivas donde desarrollar identidades corporales y narrativas no esperadas.

A su vez esta prueba ha suscitado mucho interés por parte de los entrenadores que buscan diversos recursos para conocer los factores limitantes del rendimiento, así como los test físicos-pedagógicos más importantes para el control del rendimiento en las diferentes etapas de entrenamiento. Con el objetivo de Contribuir en la teoría al control físico-pedagógico del rendimiento deportivo de los corredores de 400 m planos en sus diferentes etapas de entrenamiento, realizamos una revisión bibliográfica con ponderación de datos principales en diferentes bases de datos dentro de las que se encuentran Scopus, Ibecs, Scielo, Dialnet, Latindex y Sportdiscus. Para desarrollar esta revisión bibliográfica nos enfocamos fundamentalmente en el indicador físico-pedagógico del rendimiento deportivo. Al mismo tiempo nos apoyamos en los métodos revisión de fuentes documentales el Análisis y Síntesis e Inducción-Deducción, los cuales permitieron la exploración de diferentes artículos y analizar, sintetizar e inducir independientemente las concepciones relacionadas con sus factores, además permitió sintetizar su aparato teórico-cognitivo y establecer en el plano teórico los test para el control del rendimiento en las diferentes etapas de la preparación. Se obtiene como principales resultados aportes sobre las pruebas más influyentes en el control el rendimiento en los corredores de 400 m planos, así como tareas para el control en esta disciplina e indicaciones metodológicas que permite adecuarse como elementos de contante revisión por parte de los entrenadores que se desempeñen en esta modalidad deportiva.

Neste artigo, apresentamos as concepções a respeito dos ambientes virtuais de aprendizagem por óticas multidisciplinares. Sendo assim, questiona-se: como podemos possuir aprendizagem significativa por meio dos AVAs? Temos como hipótese a utilização dos AVAs e TDICs como meios de aprendizagem significativa, por meio de multiletramentos e gamificações.Temos como objetivos específicos: (i) verificar a importância dos AVAs; (ii) descrever as associações entre a linguística, educação e tecnologia nos AVAs como objetos principais deste estudo e (iii) implementar por meio das teorias estudadas, um AVA contextualizado. O corpus selecionado para este estudo, na área da linguística, foram recortes de interações verbais por meio dos AVAs, de forma polida e impolida. O que justifica a escolha do tema é o fato de atualmente haver o uso contante de TDICs, principalmente no contexto pandêmico. O arcabouço teórico que sustenta este trabalho são os estudos sobre Pragmática e Sociolinguística interacional de Brown & Levinson (1987), Cabral & Albert (2017), Goffman (1967), Kerbrat-orecchioni (2005) e Spencer-Oatey (2000). Estudos sobre os AVAs de Moran (2002), Mondim (2013), Milligan (1999). Estudos sobre os multiletramentos de Cazden; Cope; Fairclogh et al (1996), Rojo (2008; 2010; 2013; 2017; 2021). Estudos sobre linguística e Filosofia da linguagem de Marchuschi (2008) e Barthes (1984). A metodologia utilizada na pesquisa é tipológica - Marinho e Vasconcelos (2011) -, sua abordagem é qualitativa, de natureza aplicada, de objetivo exploratório. Utilizou-se os procedimentos técnicos - bibliográfico e experimental. Os resultados alcançados confirmam que é preciso possuir o cuidado com a interação verbal e realçar conhecimentos significativos, por meio dos AVAs. Dessa forma, evidenciamos que os ambientes virtuais de aprendizagem visam a integração do conhecimento por meio da virtualização, por isso, as trocas conversacionais devem possuir o respeito à hierarquia e a interação visada sem ataque à face do outro.

Although freedom about religion has been guaranteed in Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, in reality problems in society related to religion still occur, such as insults, degrading the beliefs of a group to problems related to the place of worship of a religion. The constitution, which guarantees freedom of expression, is widely abused so that there are unlawful acts, one of which is blasphemy. Judges with free and independent judicial power or the principle of freedom of judges, play an important role in realizing justice for society. However, the disparity of punishment in blasphemy cases has caused controversy about the freedom of judges who are considered not to meet the sense of justice of society. The focus of this study is on the disparity of punishment in blasphemy cases that go viral on social media. This is a descriptive research with a normative legal approach method (normative juridical) carried out by means of a literature study. The data collection tool used in this study is data in the form of document studies and literature tracing. The analytical knife in research is legislation, legal Grand Theory such as evidentiary theory and legal principles such as the principle of Equality before the Law, the Principle of Fair Trial, the principle of freedom of judges, the principle of contante justitie, the principle of justice, certainty and expediency of law and the principle of Nemo Judex Idoneus In Propria Causa. Based on the results of the study, it is understood that the principle of judge freedom is based on a negative evidentiary system, but with their beliefs and freedom, judges in deciding cases are often influenced by the judge's culture, namely the subjectivity of judges and the existence of intervention and intimidation which results in the disparity of punishment in blasphemy cases which is a fairly sensitive issue in Indonesia.

To test how cell–cell contacts regulate microtubule (MT) and actin cytoskeletal dynamics, we examined dynamics in cells that were contacted on all sides with neighboring cells in an epithelial cell sheet that was undergoing migration as a wound-healing response. Dynamics were recorded using time-lapse digital fluorescence microscopy of microinjected, labeled tubulin and actin. In fully contacted cells, most MT plus ends were quiescent; exhibiting only brief excursions of growth and shortening and spending 87.4% of their time in pause. This contrasts MTs in the lamella of migrating cells at the noncontacted leading edge of the sheet in which MTs exhibit dynamic instability. In the contacted rear and side edges of these migrating cells, a majority of MTs were also quiescent, indicating that cell–cell contacts may locally regulate MT dynamics. Using photoactivation of fluorescence techniques to mark MTs, we found that MTs in fully contacted cells did not undergo retrograde flow toward the cell center, such as occurs at the leading edge of motile cells. Time-lapse fluorescent speckle microscopy of fluorescently labeled actin in fully contacted cells revealed that actin did not flow rearward as occurs in the leading edge lamella of migrating cells. To determine if MTs were required for the maintenance of cell–cell contacts, cells were treated with nocodazole to inhibit MTs. After 1–2 h in either 10 μM or 100 nM nocodazole, breakage of cell–cell contacts occurred, indicating that MT growth is required for maintenance of cell–cell contacts. Analysis of fixed cells indicated that during nocodazole treatment, actin became reduced in adherens junctions, and junction proteins α- and β-catenin were lost from adherens junctions as cell–cell contacts were broken. These results indicate that a MT plus end capping protein is regulated by cell–cell contact, and in turn, that MT growth regulates the maintenance of adherens junctions contacts in epithelia.

Although transmission electron microscopy analysis allows an accurate and precise analysis of contacts, the characterization of a large number of cells and conditions can become a long-term process. In order to extend contact analysis to hundreds of cells and multiple conditions, we have combined confocal fluorescence microscopy with advanced image analysis methods. In this work, we have developed the ImageJ macro script ContactJ, a novel and straight image analysis method to identify and quantify contacts between LD and mitochondria in fluorescence microscopy images allowing the automatic analysis. This image analysis workflow combines colocalization and skeletonization methods, enabling the quantification of LD-mitochondria contacts together with a complete characterization of organelles and cellular parameters. The correlation and normalization of these parameters contribute to the complex description of cell behavior under different experimental energetic states. Abstract Background Respiratory viruses on fomites can be transferred to sites susceptible to infection via contact by hands or other fomites. Methods Care for hospitalized patients with viral respiratory infections was observed in the patient room for 3-hour periods at an acute care academic medical center for over a 2 year period. One trained observer recorded the healthcare activities performed, contacts with fomites, and self-contacts made by healthcare workers (HCWs), while another observer recorded fomite contacts of patients during the encounter using predefined checklists. Results The surface contacted by HCWs during the majority of visits was the patient (90%). Environmental surfaces contacted by HCWs frequently during healthcare activities included the tray table (48%), bed surface (41%), bed rail (41%), computer station (37%), and intravenous pole (32%). HCWs touched their own torso and mask in 32% and 29% of the visits, respectively. HCWs’ self-contacts differed significantly among HCW job roles, with providers and respiratory therapists contacting themselves significantly more times than nurses and nurse technicians (P < .05). When HCWs performed only 1 care activity, there were significant differences in the number of patient contacts and self-contacts that HCWs made during performance of multiple care activities (P < .05). Conclusions HCWs regularly contact environmental surfaces, patients, and themselves while providing care to patients with infectious diseases, varying among care activities and HCW job roles. These contacts may facilitate the transmission of infection to HCWs and susceptible patients.

En México, el Estado ha fallado al mantener el orden público, promover el bien común, disminuir la delictividad y la percepción de inseguridad en su población, como lo muestran las estadísticas nacionales donde el 67.2% de la población señala que el principal problema del país es la seguridad. Esto ha permitido que el llamado Segundo Estado, tome control y promueva sus acciones delictivas, provocando que la población se mantenga en un estado contante de alerta y de modificación de sus hábitos, buscando mantenerse a salvo de la delincuencia. Este fenómeno es aún frecuente en las grandes ciudades, sobre todo en los espacios donde existen grandes grupos poblacionales, como lo es el borde entre la Ciudad de México y el Estado de México. El presente análisis documental pretende exponer la forma en que la delictividad ha cambiado en esta zona, describiendo como han cambiado los índices de delincuencia y a su vez, como esto ha influenciado en la percepción de seguridad y el bienestar de las personas que viven o se mueven por este espacio, sobre todo, en las adaptaciones que han tenido que realizar para no ser víctimas de la violencia y delincuencia que se desarrolla en espacios públicos y el transporte. In Mexico, the State has failed to maintain public order, promote the common good, reduce crime and the perception of insecurity; national statistics shown that 67. 2% of the population said that the country’s main problem is the security. This has allowed the so-called Second State to take control and promote criminal activities, causing the population to remain constantly alert and changing their habits, seeking to keep themselves safe from crime. This phenomenon is still common in large cities, especially in areas where there are large population groups, such as the border between Mexico City and the State of Mexico. This documental nalysis aims to show how crime has changed in this area, describing the crime rates´s change and how that have a influence in the perception of security and well-being of people who live or move through this area, especially the adaptations they have had to make in order not to be victims of violence and crime in public spaces. and transportation.

Abstract:
Seabirds interaction with trawl fishing gear was observed aboard the large freezing-processing trawler «Moskovskaya Olimpiada» during the pollock fishery in the Okhotsk Sea in January-April, 2015. In total, 579 observation rounds were realized including 105 ones during the trawl setting, 116 ones during hauling, and 358 ones during trawling, with total duration of 280.7 hours. In the observations, 1443 contacts of birds with the fishing gear were recorded. Light contact of a flying gull with the trawl net was observed in one case only; all other contacts were collisions with the wires. The warps and the depth sounder cable were the greatest hazard for birds. Collisions with the sounder cable during the trawling were the most frequent, with approximately 5 times higher frequency than with the same cable during the trawl setting or hauling. Almost all strikes with the wires were registered for northern fulmars (97.5 %) and the rest of the strikes — for large gulls. Gulls had only light contacts with the depth sounder cable (2 contacts afloat and 34 contacts in flight). Fulmars had contacts both with the depth sounder cable and warps. Flying birds of this species contacted with the depth sounder cable more frequently (75.5 %) than those sitting on the water. On the contrary, majority of fulmars (61.6 %) contacted with the warps being afloat in the process of their feeding. Several cases only (0.6 %) of direct interactions with the fishing gear caused the bird’s death. All these cases occurred with the fulmars drowned when they fell under the depth sounder cable (7 ind.) or under the warp (1 ind.). Frequency of the bird collisions with the wires differed prominently by the fishery districts, with the maximum in the Kamchatka-Kuril subzone (8.35 contacts/hour for fulmars and 0.22 contacts/hour for gulls). These spatial differences are related to the birds abundance near the ship that depends on distribution patterns of certain bird species in the Okhotsk Sea in winter. General frequency of the contacts depends credibly on intensity of the waste discharges after fish processing and on wind direction relative to the ship course.

There have been very few studies focusing on what form of communication patients would find acceptable from a clinic. This study looks at the differences in preferences for various partner notification methods when the respondents were index patients compared with when they had to be contacted because a partner had a sexually transmitted infection (STI). There were 2544 respondents. When the clinic had to notify partners, respondents were more likely to report the method as good when a partner had an STI and they were being contacted compared with when the respondents had an infection and the partner was being contacted. The opposite was true for patient referral partner notification. Therefore, there are variations in the preferences of respondents for partner notification method, which depend on whether they see themselves as index patients or contacts.

An National Health Service sexual health adviser led service to facilitate management of new cases of hepatitis B from all settings across a large Scottish health board was initiated in 2012. Sexual health advisers contacted testing clinicians to support referral into appropriate services and facilitate identification, testing and vaccination of sexual partners, family and household contacts. A retrospective audit of contact tracing outcomes was conducted between September 2012 and December 2019. From a total of 1344 people diagnosed with hepatitis B, 2248 household and sexual contacts were identified. A documented outcome was established for 1741 (78%) of contacts, equalling 1.3 per index case. 257 (11%) of traced contacts were hepatitis B surface antigen positive, 162 (7%) had natural immunity and 1222 (54%) were vaccinated, either before or after contact tracing. This suggests a multi-agency approach to contact tracing for hepatitis B can achieve good outcomes. Further work is required to reduce the disproportionate burden of hepatitis B among ethnic minority subpopulations in Scotland.

Semiconductor nanowires (NWs) have a broad range of applications for nano- and optoelectronics. The strain field of gallium nitride (GaN) NWs could be significantly changed when contacts are applied to them to form a final device, especially considering the piezoelectric properties of GaN. Investigation of influence of the metallic contacts on the structure of the NWs is of high importance for their applications in real devices. We have studied a series of different type of contacts and influence of the applied voltage bias on the contacted GaN NWs with the length of about 3 to 4 micrometers and with two different diameters of 200 nm and 350 nm. It was demonstrated that the NWs with the diameter of 200 nm are bend already by the interaction with the substrate. For all GaN NWs, significant structural changes were revealed after the contacts deposition. The results of our research may contribute to the future optoelectronic applications of the GaN nanowires.

SUMMARYEmpirical data about contact frequencies of children is needed for estimating parameters in mathematical modelling studies that investigate the effect of targeting influenza intervention to children. A survey about the social contacts of school children was conducted in a primary school in Germany. The distribution of the daily numbers of contacts was stratified by age of the contacted person and by weekday. A negative binomial regression analysis was performed to investigate factors that influence contact behaviour. Using logistic regression analysis we examined the relationship between the numbers of private contacts and having been ill in the last 6 months. We computed effective contact numbers to take the heterogeneity in contact behaviour into account in assessing the contribution of children's contacts to the overall transmission of an infection. The possible effects of intervention measures such as school closure and vaccination on the transmission of respiratory-spread agents to other age groups are discussed.

Contact tracing using provider referral is often perceived as time-consuming. To assess the workload involved in provider referral at a sexual health clinic, we studied the number of attempts required, the contact method used, the time taken and the success of provider referral for 230 contacts referred over a 3-year period. For 87% of these contacts, a mobile number was available; 78.7% of these were successfully contacted. A median of two calls was required and the median time to complete the contact tracing process was within the same day. In 91% of cases, contact tracing was successful. In our setting, provider notification was not time-consuming.

Conocer si en el HUMS existe asociación entre lactancia materna y nacionalidad, prematuridad, tipo de parto, contacto precoz piel con piel. Estudio de cohortes, en una muestra de 541 puérperas del HUMS en octubre-noviembre 2011. Las variables: nacionalidad, tipo de parto, contacto precoz, parto prematuro e inicio lactancia materna se recogieron antes del alta hospitalaria mediante cuestionario. A los dos meses postparto se contactó telefónicamente con las madres para conocer el tipo de lactancia en ese momento. El 70,32 % iniciaron la lactancia materna en las dos primeras horas postparto y el 55,58% daban Lactancia materna exclusiva (LME) a los dos meses. Influyen en la lactancia materna el tipo de parto, contacto precoz y parto prematuro. La probabilidad de lactancia materna es 3,65 veces más alta si se ha realizado contacto precoz (RR 3,65; IC 95% 2,72-4,88; p=0,001). El inicio de lactancia materna en las 2 primeras horas y la nacionalidad española influye positivamente en la LME a los 2 meses. Las prácticas hospitalarias en el postparto deben promover el contacto precoz madre-recién nacido y el inicio de lactancia materna en las dos primeras horas, principalmente en las cesáreas.

Background: On 23 July 2020, COVID-19 contact tracing cell was informed of a laboratory confirmed case of COVID-19 with substantial number of contacts. The current scenario under investigation is an example for a large outbreaks amenable to containment. If not contained immediately and effectively it may pass on to large community transmission.Methods: Epidemiological investigation and contact tracing was carried out to identify the source and contacts of a confirmed case of COVID-19 reported on 22 July 2020. A semi-structured questionnaire prepared by COVID-19 contact tracing cell, Government Medical College (GMC), Palakkad was used to collect data on clinical characteristics, likely source of exposure and contacts made by the index case. High risk and low risk contacts were contacted over telephone to ensure quarantine, testing on 8th day (both for high risk contacts) and symptom monitoring.Results: Total of 55 high risk contacts were identified, 15 of which were of high risk exposure. All 15 high risk contacts were kept in quarantine with testing on day 8 after last exposure. 7 new cases occurred among 15 the high risk contacts of which one turned out to be suspected primary, 5 secondary cases of index case and one secondary case of the suspected primary case. All secondary and low risk contacts were kept under symptom surveillance, and did not develop COVID-19.Conclusions: Timely case notification coupled with complete and effective contact tracing and quarantining has contained the cluster and prevented it from emerging as large community transmission.
