Abstract:
The English language has become an international language and is globally used as a lingua franca. Therefore, there has been a shift in English-language education toward teaching English as an interna-tional language (EIL). Teaching from the EIL paradigm means that English is seen as an international language used in communication by people from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds. As the approach to English-language education changes from the traditional native-speaker, target country context, so does the role of culture within English-language teaching. Protein arriving at the ruminant proximal duodenum consists of microbial protein, undegraded feed protein and endogenous protein. Recent feeding schemes (e.g. ARC 1980, 1984) require an accurate value of the degradability of feed in the rumen. Abstract:
Recently due to climatic changes a progressive increase in the percentage of ethanol in wines was observed. In fact, the ripening phase of the grapes tends to coincide with hot periods resulting in high accumulations of sugars and production of wines characterized by excessive alcoholic content, with negative notes on the quality of the final product. At the same time, national and international markets request well-structured and full-bodied wines, characterized by high aromatic complexity and moderate alcohol content. Alternative approaches have been proposed for the reduction of alcohol con

Abstract:
Compared to the large body of research on female gender roles, little research has focused on male gender representation. This study addresses male and female gender representation as portrayed on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. This research studies both male and female gender representation throughout the publication from 1967 to 2004. Using Erving Goffman’s gender displays and Mee-Eun Kang’s body displays, as a guideline from the underlining theme, the data shows that gender displays for females have remained fairly consistent, but body displays have increased. However, men’s gender st
