This work was performed to test the effect of aqueous extract of Cabralea canjerana subsp. polytricha (Meliaceae) in the control of Brevycorine brassicae (Hemiptera: Aphididae) and Ascia monuste orseis (Lepidoptera: Pieridae). Colletotrichum gloeosporioides is the causal agent of anthracnose disease of mangoes. Infection occurs when humidity is high and rain-dispersed spores germinate and form an appressorium on immature mangoes. The infection then becomes quiescent until the fruit is harvested.
