The device-independent formalism is a set of tools to analyze experimental data and infer properties about systems, while avoiding almost any assumption about the functioning of devices. It has found applications both in fundamental and applied physics: some examples are the characterization of quantum nonlocality and information protocols for secure cryptography or randomness generation. The way to measure the deformation of the strained body is to attach the grating piece to the strain body of the object to be tested. When the light source is irradiated onto the optical wall, the detected

However, it’s difficult to record and automatically control the cultivation parameter well as the water quality in traditional aquaculture is mostly measured in manual. The purpose of this research is to design an instrumentation which can be used to measure and detect the water quality at a fixed position by using the user interface from remote monitoring center. The detection includes DO, pH and water quality. At t

The method is to combine the patenting design of the “One kind of device for measuring the degree of the parallel between two planes with the same direction of the rotational axis” and the close-formed solution. The angle between two planes can be calculated by providing only two sets of the moved distances. The experiments results are good compared to the values of theory. For those things are not having standard scales, there might happens some measuring deviation caused by judgement from different people. For the technology development nowadays, every field have huge image data shot by system, for example: industrial detection, medical images……etc. It will take so many times if we use human eyes and rains to judge these images, but we can save bunch of time by using computer programing a

Health monitoring on regular basis is important nowadays, but it's not possible to go to hospital for regular check-ups due to our busy life. With a portable BP device which automatically calculates the blood pressure, mean arterial pressure and heart rate, a patient can monitor his/her BP and heart rate himself/herself at home, office or anywhere. If the readings are not normal, the readings can be sent to the hospital or doctor using GSM module. And the patient can be diagnosed if required. This project also intends to help the people of the remote location where medical facilities are not a

We design three microcavity with different thickness of space layer to control the detuning. By measuring the reflective spectrum and photoluminescence spectrum, we prove the mechanism of strong photon-exction coupling in microcavity, and confirm the polariton intensity distribution are in line with expectations.
