"Color change using HSB color system of dental resin composites immersed in different common Amazon region beverages." Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to evaluate in vitro the color stability of composite resins when exposed to beverages with high coloring contents from the Amazon region. 240 samples from four different composite brands (Natural Look, Z350, 4Seasons and Opallis) of hue A3 were fabricated using an acrylic matrix. The samples were stored in distilled water at 37ºC for 24 hours. The initial color (T0) was registered using a Canon EOS Rebel XTi 10 mp camera, and then the samples were divided into four groups (n=15): G1 (coffee), G2 (açaí juice), G3 (energetic guaraná) and G4 (control - distilled water). The samples were exposed to solutions of DES (6hs) and RE (18hs) and placed in a double boiler under constant agitation, at 37ºC for 30 days. The samples were immersed in the coloring solutions for 15 minutes daily. After 7, 15 and 30 days, new photographic registers were made (T1, T2 and T3). The images were analyzed using Corel PHOTO-PAINT 12 software to identify the colors through the HSB system. The Kruskal-Wallis and t tests (p<0.05) demonstrated significant differences in color (hue, saturation and brightness). The results revealed that none of the tested composites showed color stability when exposed to coloring solutions, and that the Amazon region beverages (açaí juice and energetic guaraná) showed to be less coloring than coffee.

Abstract:
Klebsiella pneumoniae is the second most common cause of community infection and nosocomial infections due to Gram-negative bacteria. These bacteria are able to induce the onset of immune response, especially humoral immune response.Humoral immunity acts through the activation of B cells that produce antibodies. Antibodies, especially IgG, will cause encapsulated bacteria such as Klebsiella pneumoniae to be better phagocytosed. The purpose of this study was to determine the IgG response to hemagglutinin protein pili K. pneumoniae 12.8 kDa. The method used in this research is Immunoblotting method with western blot and dot blot. The primary antibodies used for the western blot and dot blot tests were isolated from BALB / C mice serum induced with the subcutaneous pili K. pneumoniae 12.8 kDa protein. To get the standard in assessing the results of dot blot were used Corel Photo-paint X6. The semi-quantitative result of dot blot was obtained with the strongest reaction of the antibody dilution at 1/100 while the antigen dilution titer at 1 / 10.000. Results from western blotting showed a positive reaction of the pili protein subunit with a molecular weight of 128.1 kDa, 114.4 kDa, 64.9 kDa, 31.1 kDa, 27.7 kDa, 24.8 kDa, 20.9 kDa, 12.8 kDa, and 10 kDa. The conclusion of this study is the immunization of hemagglutinin pili K. pneumoniae 12.8 kDa subcutaneously capable of inducing the formationof Immunoglobulin G in BALB / C mice.

Abstract:
The article actualizes the problems of professional pedagogical education, in particular, the problem of using the information and communication technologies in the process of mastering students of pedagogical universities the phototherapeutic technologies. The author identifies the main functions of phototherapy in the conditions of the modern information environment (transfer of thoughts and memories, expansion of social connections, improvement of skills of self-understanding and self-expression, provision of role development and transformation, construction of socio-psychological identity) on the basis of the analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature. Solved the content and features of the process of using various phototherapeutic technologies ("work with polarities", "creation of a portrait", "conversation", "photodiary" etc.) in the process of the future teachers professional training. Highlighted the main tasks of the implementation of phototherapy: actualization of emotional development, enhancement of educational motivation, development of digital competence and skills of interpersonal interaction, creative self-expression and others. The article presents the results of the questionnaire for students of the specialties "Primary Education", "Preschool Education", "Choreographic Education" and "Social Work" on the needs of phototherapy using digital technologies in the modern educational environment of pedagogical higher establishment. Characterized the ways of implementation the phototherapeutic technologies with the help of digital applications (Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Corel Photo-Paint, CorelDRAW, Google Drive, Google Slides, Prezi, Live Picture, PowerPoint, Quik etc). Considered the possibilities of using virtual social services for the purpose of effective organization of the educational process, outlined the ways of application of virtual social services for the development of phototherapeutic competence of future teachers.

Landsberger, Martin, Jens Ackermann, Stephan B. Felix, and Johannes B. Dahm. "Abstract 559: Lectin-like Oxidised Low Density Lipoprotein Receptor-1 Expression in Atheroma of Patients with Coronary Artery Disease is Higher in Patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome but Decreased in Patients on Statins." Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology 36, suppl_1 (May 2016). http://dx.doi.org/10.1161/atvb.36.suppl_1.559.

Full text
Abstract:
Introduction: The lectin-like oxidised low density lipoprotein receptor-1, LOX-1, is expressed in endothelial cells and macrophages among others. Its expression can be induced by a variety of stimuli such as oxidised LDL, endothelin-1, angiotensin II and shear stress. LOX-1 seems to be important for the induction of endothelial dysfunction and is implicated in atherosclerotic plaque vulnerability. Methods: Atherectomy specimens were obtained from 37 patients (mean age 62.5±9.7 years, body mass index 28.6±5.3 kg/m2; n=30 with chest pain/angina pectoris), who underwent medially indicated directional coronary atherectomy in the Department of Internal Medicine B, University Medicine Greifswald, between July 2001 and April 2005, and were immediately frozen in liquid nitrogen. Human coronary atherectomy specimens were cut into 5 μm-slices using a kryotom and stained with haematoxylin and eosin (H&E), Oil Red O (lipids) and Elastica-van Gieson (collagen). LOX-1 was detected by immunofluorescence using a FITC-labelled rabbit polyclonal antibody against amino acids 143 to 271 of human LOX-1. Digital images were analysed with Corel PHOTO-PAINT 12, SCION Image, and SigmaPlot 11. Correlations between signal intensities for LOX-1 expression and patients’ parameters were analysed by Spearman Rank Order testing. Patients gave informed consent. The study protocol complied with the Declaration of Helsinki and was approved by the local ethics committee. Results: LOX-1 expression correlated significantly with lipid content of the coronary atherectomy specimens. LOX-1 expression tended to be higher in specimens from patients with acute coronary syndrome (n=11) and to be lower in patients receiving statins (n=16). However, no correlations were found between LOX-1 expression and grade of stenosis, plaque localisation, age, sex, body mass index, smoking (n=15), hypertension (n=31), diabetes mellitus type II (n=9), and dyslipoproteinaemia (n=32). Conclusions: LOX-1 expression in plaques was positively correlated with lipid contents of plaque material and tended to be higher in patients with acute coronary syndrome and to be lower if patients had received statins. High LOX-1 expression in the atherosclerotic plaque may contribute to plaque instability.
