Abstract:
Abstract The article analyzes the process of formation and development of corporate education in the USA in the first half of the twentieth century. It has been determined that the main prerequisites for the development of corporate education in the USA in the first half of the twentieth century were historical, socio-economic, political factors and advances in scientific research including: the rapid growth of the US economy in the twentieth century; dissemination of scientific and technological progress and constant introduction of new technologies in the workplace; a national policy of “welfarism”; scientific works of R. Kelly “Training industrial workers” and D. Morris “Employee training: A study of education and training departments in various corporations”, which contained the first complex researches on training in industry, substantiated the necessity and prospects of this study, analyzed corporate programs of that time, the ideas on scientific management of F. Taylor, F. Gilbreth and S. Thompson, which had a major impact on all business areas. It has been found out that corporate education was the result of evolution of apprenticeship, the oldest and most traditional form of vocational training in the United States. By 1920s a new concept of modern education had been formed in the workplace which had its philosophical foundations, educational programs, technologies, system of providing services and organizational structure. In the period between the First and Second World Wars a new vision of learning at the workplace arose, new teaching methods were developed different from those used in traditional educational institutions; understanding came that the dissemination of knowledge within the whole community would contribute to building a democratic society.

Abstract:
Present-day development of information technologies is making deeper and deeper incursions into all spheres of human activity, both social and economic. It is only natural that they greatly influence the educational industry, changing the approaches, methods and forms of education. Currently e-learning and distance technologies are being actively introduced into both academic and corporate education, as complementary to traditional forms. The efforts of teachers are aimed at finding effective models of blended learning. All this determines the relevance of the present study. The abstracted article is aimed at developing frameworks of a distance learning model based on the use of modern learning management systems. To obtain thorough and reliable results the authors make use of two research approaches: acmeological and competence-based. They review the features, the scope and use of the existing LMS platforms and work out tools for the development of e-learning system. In addition, they assess the compliance of e-learning tools with the preferences of X, Y and Z generation users. The outcome of the research is the development of a universal competency that can be applied to the study of modern methods and approaches with reference to both academic teaching and learning, and to corporate training. It is quite apparent that pros and cons of the learning management system and its possibilities should be carefully studied and thoughtfully used. The effective e-learning requires constant monitoring of equipment, proper work of host servers and considering user-friendliness of the platforms. This is related to the fact that public educational organizations, including schools, colleges and universities, especially in low developed countries, prefer traditional teaching methods and are slowly moving to innovative models. The research findings can be viewed as a step forward in creating user-friendly and flexible e-learning platforms, suitable for separate users, institutions and businesses. They can be applied for further assessment of existing learning models, especially for the younger generation, and for research and development of new strategies and methods of using learning management systems and platforms.

Abstract:
Abstract Compared with traditional forms of education and training, e-learning is gaining increasing importance not only within the academic setting of formal education, but also in the corporate environment. Concerning the latter, it is evident that with increasing pressure on cost efficiency and competitiveness, in addition to the current harsh financial and economic conditions, companies are being challenged and this tends to change their behaviour patterns. In this article, the results of a survey are presented. The survey focused on the current status and possible future trends of corporate e-learning methods in Slovenia, which is among the so-called transition countries. This survey brings more than one aspect of this issue to light. The findings show increasing rates of acceptance of the e-learning education model by the local corporate environment. Nevertheless, significant gaps are evident when compared with the most advanced European and worldwide economies in terms of the widespread use of comprehensive e-learning models and the latest e-learning technologies, such as LMS systems. Furthermore, the survey reveals that e-learning is perceived by companies as cost efficient and flexible, but on the other hand it is not yet perceived to contribute to a higher quality level of staff training when compared with traditional methods.

Abstract:
Purpose of the research. The purpose of this research is to study the problems of the features of teaching technologies of modern artificial neural networks for carrying out the procedure of unambiguous authentication of students according to a pre-formed reference base of digital biometric characteristics of the authorized users in the field of distance educational technologies. In the modern world, artificial neural networks are successfully used in both applied and scientific fields. The problem of authenticating a human personality, implemented using artificial neural networks, finds practical application in solving problems such as the protection of state and corporate information resources, robotics, access control systems, information retrieval, control systems, etc., and is already beginning to find application in the field of distance educational technologies. In March 2021, the Government of the Russian Federation developed a decree on the basis of which higher educational institutions are allowed to use distance learning technologies. Conducting remotely activities of intermediate and final certification, as well as monitoring the current progress of both distance learning students and full-time and part-time students with a temporary transition to distance learning in a pandemic, the problem of identifying the student’s personality arises in order to achieve unambiguous recognition of the authorized users for the purpose of reliable assessment of learning outcomes, which can be solved using modern technologies of artificial neural networks.Materials and methods. Methods of reviewing scientific literature on the research topic, methods of collecting, structuring and analyzing the information obtained were used as materials and methods.Research results. The results of the study allow us to draw the following conclusions: to solve the problem of authenticating students in distance education systems it is first necessary to form the actual base of biometric characteristics of the authorized users, which will be compared with the biometric data of the identified users, and for the recognition procedure, the neural network must be trained in advance on special trainers datasets. The identification procedure must be repeated several times during a session to ensure that the identity of the authorized user is verified.Conclusion. Realizing the set goal to study the problematics of learning technologies of modern artificial neural networks for carrying out the procedure of unambiguous authentication of students according to a pre-formed reference base of digital biometric characteristics of authorized users in the field of distance learning technologies, and relying on the results obtained in the course of generalization and analysis of existing experience and our own studies, the authors identified two independent stages in the algorithm for the implementation of the task of identifying the student’s personality: the formation of a reference base of digital biometric characteristics of authorized users and user authentication according to the previously formed reference base, and also revealed that when training a neural network, it is necessary to take into account a sufficiently large number of different attributes affecting it. With an insufficient number of training sets (datasets), neural networks begin to perceive errors as reliable information, which, as a result, will lead to the need to retrain neural networks. With a sufficiently large number of training sets (dataset), more versions of dependencies and variability appear, which makes it possible to create rather complex machine learning models of neural networks, in which retraining takes the main place.

Abstract:
The accumulated assets of intellectual capital serve as the basis for the formation of competitive advantages of TNCs in the global economy. The world leading corporations are diversifying methods of forming and attracting intellectual capital in terms of increased competition. The aim of the study is to identify modern features and methods of intellectual capital accumulation as the basis of competitive advantages of TNCs in the global environment. The findings imply that the basis of leadership and high competitiveness of TNCs are the accumulated assets of intellectual capital. The result of the study was the systematization and disclosure of the methods of accumulation of intellectual corporate capital. The current trends in the accumulation of intellectual capital assets by leading TNCs of the world are revealed. The accumulation of corporate intellectual capital of corporations is carried out on the basis of large-scale investment in assets: the development of corporate forms of personnel training, a tremendous increase in R&D expenses, the formation of distributed innovation networks and open innovation platforms, the introduction of the latest knowledge management mechanisms. The forms of attracting intellectual capital from outside are actively used: the search and attraction of talented and highly qualified human resources from other countries, the purchase of patents, technologies, management models, mergers and acquisitions of companies, etc. Transnational corporations are becoming the leading subjects of spending on science in the world: in the top ten countries they account for more than half of all R&D costs, and in the leading countries of the USA and China - up to 80%. The accumulation of corporate intellectual capital is characterized by tendencies in the formation of two powerful world leaders - the USA and China, increased competition, a sharp increase in R&D costs, regional and industry transformations. The world leaders in science spending are the corporate sector in the United States and China. The sectoral structure of the world's leading transnational corporations is changing: instead of oil and automobile, the top ten transnational corporations now mainly include computer and high-tech companies. Aggressive strategies for increasing intellectual assets are being implemented. An effective tool for accumulating intellectual assets is mergers and acquisitions. The leaders in the number of mergers and acquisitions are TNCs from leading countries: USA, China, United Kingdom, Germany and Japan. The formation of corporate intellectual capital is an important step in building an effective synergistic interaction of all the constituent triangles “business-education-science”. This triad is a key tool for the strategic development of the knowledge economy for any country in the world.

Abstract:
The article deals with issues related to the study of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of physical education teachers. The authors used methods of literature analysis, questionnaires and SWOT analysis to justify the use of the KPI business technology in teachers’ professional activities. The presence in modern universities of functions similar to activities of commercial organizations and business structures, in particular the functions of attracting and managing finances, justifies the need to use technologies that have already proven their effectiveness in the economic environment. The basis for applying the KPI technology is data that reveal the potential of this technology. The article also presents the results of the analysis of professional functions performed by physical education teachers. The functions are divided into traditional, specific for physical education teachers, and functions that have appeared relatively recently, under the influence of mass digitalization and introduction of new technologies. Using formulas, an example of calculating key performance indicators, as well as teachers’ overall performance, is given. Based on the results of the analysis of the relationship between the KPI technology and the quality indicators of physical education teachers’ professional activity, the authors developed the Performance Management as a Result of Using the KPI Technology training program. The training is aimed at creating a new approach to professional activity, as well as at improving personal and corporate effectiveness using the KPI technology. The participants of the training took part in a survey after a certain period of time. The analysis of the survey results showed teachers’ interest in the KPI technology and readiness to use it in their activities. The respondents noted that the technology is transparent; it allows them to have a clear idea of the results they will receive a fair remuneration for, to predict the results of their professional activities. The advantages of the KPI technology are obvious, since performance evaluation has a transparent effect, which makes it clear to employees and builds trust in the organization’s management. The technology also contributes to the formation of employees’ responsibility for the results of their activities. The authors attributed the complexity and duration of the implementation process to the disadvantages of the KPI technology. The authors also concluded that preliminary work with teachers on the type of training can contribute to the most effective result for all participants in this process.

Abstract:
Introduction. The article analyzes the current trends of the global and domestic market of online education. It is established that the modern market of online education is characterized by the active development of micro-learning; promotion of mobile learning; the use of artificial intelligence in EdTech; the close link between training and employment; increasing the target market for companies working in the direction of career-long learning; demand for practices of mutual, or cross-learning, (p2p-learning); leading positions of educational companies in the development of modern EdTech; low prevalence of virtual and augmented reality (AR and VR) in the development of online education; ineffective use of gamification in online education; the popularity of project-based learning; the close connection of online learning with talent development practices; growth of the LMS market (learning management systems); sustainable growth of the corporate segment of online education; the spread of more innovative educational practices than asynchronous (self-paced) learning. Goal is to study the educational trajectory of man in the XXI century and determine the influence of behavioral factors on it. Results. Modern incentives for the development of the online education market in Ukraine are highlighted: outdated educational base, military conflict in eastern Ukraine, recognition by some universities of distance learning as a separate form of education, development of Internet technologies, changing qualification requirements in the labor market, reducing the value of traditional education. the role of universities in the socialization of individuals, the lack of territorial affiliation, the introduction of quarantine measures. The priority directions of construction of the educational trajectory of the person are generalized and the influence of behavioral factors on it is determined. It was found that the key aspects that individuals focus on when building an educational trajectory are: the desire to quickly enter the labor market, spreading the practice of mastering lucrative professions without significant material and time costs for training, increasing educational opportunities through the introduction of distance learning abroad and domestic institutions. It is proved that behavioral factors have a significant impact on determining the educational trajectory of a person. Therefore, the identification and regulation of such influences accelerates the effective adaptation of man to the changing conditions of the labor market and the market of educational services, as well as allows to effectively build and adjust its educational trajectories.

Abstract:
In the article the features of organization of the system of supplementary education in Russian universities in the conditions of modern reality are considered. Among them are the accelerating shift of professions, the concept of "long life learning", the digitalization of all spheres, including education, as well as a stable segment of the programs of professional education in the educational portfolio of a university is needed for its of sustainable competitiveness. As an example, there are proposed some perspective forms of organization of educational and scientific process which are new for the Russian practice of managing education. One of these forms could be an educational-scientific center in a university as a union of the departments and research units in the relevant subject area, structurally separated from the classical forms of faculty and completely different from it. The last one is classically managed individually, collegially or on the basis of linear-functional approach, especially in Russia. The education & science center of Management in the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics is given as an example. It is a really successful division of the university, which has a confidently leading position in the internal rating system for KPI and a stable portfolio of orders for research and vocational programs for the corporate segment, which ensures the implementation of financial plans and guarantees the sustainability of a university’s budget. The article provides generalized practical recommendations for building the processes of development, promotion and implementation of vocational programs, taking into account the differentiation by basic target groups of consumers (students), diverse technologies for their training and creating basic versions of the educational products.

Abstract:
When quality is referred to in clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine, the focus is mainly on the analytical process. But good professional quality starts with a sound education. In an attempt to describe the practice of clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine in the 15 member states of the "old" European Union, it was noticed that (sometimes) large differences existed in the way professionals are being trained (see: Sanders et al, Clin Chem Lab Med 2002; 40: 196-204). With that outcome, a survey of the Websites of the different Member Societies and Corporate Members of IFCC was conducted. It showed that less than one third of either two groups paid attention to, or offered, education. This led to a series of questions to a non-representative group of colleagues outside the former EU who were willing to give more insight in the educational system of their country. All colleagues were known to be involved actively in clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine. The outcome did not give a uniform pattern, since every country regulates health care in its own way, according to its own historical development, needs, social vision, etc. From that a number of conclusions have been drawn: a. Proper University Training is required to enter vocational training b. Regulated Vocational Training seems to be necessary (4 years) c. A clear Syllabus as an indicative guide to the vocational training is important d. Management training should be included since a clinical chemist will have organizational responsibilities as well e. Examinations may help in improving the quality of the education f. Official Register, recognized by Law, is essential, but not always existing h. Re-Registration can be seen as part of the Quality Cycle. Finally, some attention is being paid to the activities of the EMD. This Division of the IFCC provides the membership of IFCC and the health-care community with education which it considers relevant to Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine. It is the intention of EMD to improve the quality of the profession by educational activities in molecular biology, evidence based laboratory medicine, quality assurance, distance education, and laboratory management. Specific projects are a Master Course in Laboratory Science, a course in Flowcytometry, and the Visiting Lecturer Program which supports national societies in inviting lecturers on specific topics. More information can be found on the IFCC Web-site (www.ifcc.org). In the future, it is to be expected that emphasis on education in our profession will be on the clinical use of tests, modern media and e-learning, and specific courses in new technologies. EMD works continuously to improve the quality of clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine. The input from all National Societies is appreciated to discern topics most relevant to the membership of IFCC. .

Abstract:
A year has passed since humanity first encountered a previously unknown disease — COVID-19, which changed and made adjustments to the established mechanisms of human life. These changes also apply to the field of education, including medical education. Due to the quarantine imposed in Ukraine to prevent the spread of COVID-19, educational institutions were closed and students were transferred to distance learning. Organize quality online learning in a short period of time, charge motivation to learn and be prepared for technological problems — this is not a complete list of problems faced by teachers. However, the present can be called the era of computer science, telecommunications and global digitalization. The rapid rise of the integration of information and communication technologies, online tools in society in recent decades has become a preparation for solving problems and problems. Distance learning has advantages and disadvantages. In addition, there are several organizational and methodological and organizational and technical models of distance learning. Practical classes on pediatric therapeutic dentistry are held in the format of an online conference in the Microsoft Teams program (Pre-created Classes for each subgroup and events in the program — in the calendar according to the schedule, students are invited). Microsoft Teams is a teamroom for Office 365, which is a simplified version of learning management systems, but allows the learning team to communicate and share files. The program is convenient because it combines everything in a common work environment, which includes chat for discussion, file sharing and corporate programs. Students take each test topic in the system according to the calendar-thematic plan, get the result, which the teacher converts into points, according to the evaluation criteria. During the online lesson, the teacher interviews the topic, corrects the answer, explains the points that were unclear, using pre-loaded materials — presentations, videos, photos, radiographs and orthopantomograms, which helps to master the material. For future dentists, practical training, work with real patients, practice of manual and communication skills are extremely important, so during the remote teaching of pediatric therapeutic dentistry, situational problems are solved and algorithms of practical skills are analyzed in order to bring students closer to practice. Distance learning is a purposeful process of interaction between teacher and student, based on the use of modern information and telecommunications technologies that allow distance learning, which is relevant in a pandemic COVID-19. No conflict of interest was declared by the author. Key words: distance learning, medical education, teacher, student, COVID-19 pandemic.

AbstractAstronomical education is entering a new stage of development which is closely connected with the development of new technologies for communication, computing and data visualization. We discuss this evolution in the context of astronomy education in Armenia. As students spend only a short time in Byurakan Observatory for training in observations, they are not able to carry out systematic astronomical observations. Hence their training places emphasis on the use of astronomical archives and analysis of observational data obtained previously with the Byurakan telescopes and other ground-based and space telescopes. Thus, one of the aims of the Armenian Virtual Observatory is to support the training of students in this modern context.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to modern information tools of training as a way to optimize the process of training future specialists. Emphasis is placed on the importance of technological innovation and the theory of learning in the application of a variety of technologies to teaching and teaching. It is determined that the patterns of behavior of modern students are changing with respect to their rapidly expanding digital environment. Modern digital students think and process information differently from their predecessors – thinking in parallel and linear models and reading visual images that could be used to read text. It is emphasized that new technologies, such as those described in the article, can give students of the information society and the interaction society the opportunity to receive increased and continuous participation in learning. Active students interact with their environment and manipulate objects in that environment, observe the impact of their interventions, and build their own interpretations of the phenomena and results of manipulations, share these interpretations with others. These descriptions offer connections to previously identified features of the Information Society and the Society for Interaction and New Technologies. Different approaches of providing modern active education in higher education institutions are analyzed. In summary, mobile learning devices can provide individuality through unique profiles, this category of technology can be a proper choice of learning environment aimed at enhancing individual learning orientation. Mobile devices need to be in tune with how events are happening around the world and the web, even if those devices have been used for personal purposes only. It is emphasized that a critical aspect of such a strategy is that the mobile device is not simply integrated into the educational and higher education institutions or fell into the hands of its user, as has been done, for example, with recent initiatives on computers and laptops. On the contrary, individual profiles must be intentionally designed into the device and involved in the educational process in educational institutions in general and in higher education institutions in particular.

Abstract:
The development of modern technologies poses new challenges for training legal professionals. Traditional forms of teaching do not produce the desired secondary effect (for example, the students' interest in acquiring knowledge in a particular course) or the end result (acquiring the competences needed for the modern job market). Consequently, teaching should be more focused on the application of new, non-traditional forms of education while preserving the best traditions of legal training (handwriting rather than e-device, developing communication skills and emotional intelligence). As a result, this article analyses the use of technologies and potential threats they pose to maintaining traditional values specific to the legal profession in the education process. Abstract:
The article discusses the use of modern tools and technologies for assessing learning outcomes. Evaluation of learning outcomes is inextricably linked with the quality of education provided by an educational institution. It is noted that today there is no single interpretation of the concept of “quality of education”. Because of the introduction of the competence approach, graduates now form not just a certain amount of knowledge and skills, but the ability to use it, apply the experience gained in practice, so modern assessment should be fundamentally new and different from traditional methods. The features of the competency assessment system are determined. The basic provisions of the assessment methodology are established and on their basis; we have identified the components of the model of the system of automated assessment of professional competencies. The principles of constructing the competency assessment model were singled out. The analysis of existing modern means of estimation is carried out. Among them, the methods specific to the authentic approach were highlighted, as well as the advantages of using the electronic platform Moodle for conducting the evaluation procedure.

Abstract:
In the field of training higher educational institution teachers, an era of significant change is beginning. For long, this area has remained the most conservative and was not noticeably subject to changes in society. However, the situation has changed dramatically. First of all, this is due to the rapid development of other areas of human activity, and in particular digital technologies. It is already difficult to imagine a modern society without such technologies, and the main task of a higher education teacher is precisely to train highly qualified specialists with new competencies to solve the challenges facing humanity. Strengthening the explicit link between the needs of society and the objectives of higher education is one of the prerequisites for significant changes in the field of education. The concept of training a teacher of higher education for the future today is largely determined by the development trends of digital technologies. The absence of objective reasons to assume the cessation of the use and development of digital technologies allows us to make an assumption that virtual educational worlds will appear in the foreseeable future, which will become the same familiar environment for acquiring the necessary competencies as higher schools existing in the physical world. This largely determines the relevance of the chosen research topic and determines the need for a thorough analysis of the educational technologies used in the training of teachers. The purpose of this work is, using a combination of analysis, synthesis, idealization and analogy, to generalize at the national and international levels the existing ideas about effective approaches to teaching a higher education teacher, including continuous improvement of competence in his professional field, and modern practice of using digital technologies, and also highlight the most interesting new learning experiences. The necessity of applying the so-called “integrated approach to teaching a higher education teacher” by the authors is proved. The main advantages and disadvantages of using digital technologies are highlighted. Reasonable conclusions are made on the existence of an ideal recipe for combining accumulated educational practices in the framework of traditional education and digital technology.

Abstract:
In modern reality, when economic, trade, scientific and cultural ties are rapidly developing in the world, exchanges are being carried out in the scientific and technical fields, knowledge of a foreign language becomes a priority for specialists of almost all levels. The very concept of a “foreign language” is increasingly being replaced by a “language of communication” in various fields of culture, science and technology. There are many different languages in the world, and even more dialects. But the trends are such that for most people knowledge of one common language is enough. And this language does not have to be native to the interlocutors. A common language is able to unite different peoples and cultures, even absolutely opposite, into one common cause. In addition to strengthening cultural ties, the language brings together experts in science and technology. At the same time, the authors acknowledge the lack of research in modern pedagogical science devoted to identifying the potential of information and communication technologies in the process of professional foreign language training of future specialists that meet the requirements of the Russian state and society, imposed on modern specialists of different profiles, reflected in national and international documents.
