This article deals with phenomenon of topicality but whose origins go back in particular to Roman Antiquity: corruption. In the writings of the ancient authors, it is not rare to find accounts of lawsuit for corruption or the corrupting activities during the electoral campaigns or at the time of the lawsuits in Rome under the Republic. This study shows the demonstrations of this phenomenon of corruption through the laws and the sorrows incurred by the authors, they were Roman or foreign citizens.
