The (2w)! reversible transformations on w wires, i.e. reversible logic circuits with w inputs and w outputs, together with the action of cascading, form a group, isomorphic to the symmetric group S2w. Therefore, we investigate the group Sn as well as one of its subgroups isomorphic to Sn/2 × Sn/2. We then consider the left cosets, the right cosets, and the double cosets generated by the subgroup. Each element of a coset can function as the representative of the coset. The coset can then be considered as the set of all group elements that differ from the representative by merely multiplying (ei

Lattice codes play an important role in wireless communication and are closely related to linear codes. Multi-level constructions of complex lattices from codes are known to produce lattice codes with desirable parameters and efficient encoding and decoding of information bits. However, their constellation usually involves superfluous elements that need to be mapped to a representative within the same coset to reduce average transmission power. One such elegant shaping function is a componentwise modulo, which is known to produce a cubic shaping for Barnes–Wall lattices. In this paper, we gene

Then, the first approach utilizes the double coset representative method in computational group theory for canonicalization of indexed monomials and shows that finding the canonical forms of a class of multi-digraph

We study the nonunitary diagonal cosets constructed from admissible representations of Kač-Moody algebras at fractional level, with an emphasis on the question of field identification. Generic classes of field identifications are obtained from the analysis of the modular S matrix. These include the usual class related to outer automorphisms, as well as some intrinsically nonunitary field identifications. They allow for a simple choice of coset field representatives where all field components of the coset are associated with integrable weights.

The present paper covers preliminary manufacturing testing phase, electro-fusion welds qualification along with the required equipment

Abstract It is widely accepted that the use of live crude oil samples provides the most field representative fluids when investigating asphaltenes and paraffin wax problems in laboratory testing. However, this approach is limited by availability of live samples and the potential that samples collected during drilling will be insufficiently representative due to contamination. Rather than going to the significant expense and operational difficulty and risk of collecting and transporting live samples, it is common practice to use ‘dead’ crude oil, i.e., that which has been degassed to ambient pr

Abstract:
To enable public and private sector stakeholders of the national salt iodization program in Armenia to be able to confirm high population coverage of well iodized salt and the associated adequate iodine status of the population systematically and at a substantially lower cost than typical population-based representative surveys, the IGN supported the “pilot” implementation of the FORTIMAS (Fortification Monitoring and Surveillance) methodology, adapted to tracking “effective coverage” of iodized salt, in Armenia. Primary analysis of non-probabilistic data showed high (92%) household coverage o

Abstract:
The purpose of this note is to provide an exhaustive reference for those interested in learning more about the Constant Elasticity of Substitution (CES) function and its use in the representation of producer behavior in the GTAP model. Particular attention is paid to the role of technical change variables and their effect on cost minimizing demands and input shares. This note is divided into three sections. In the first section, the basic cost minimization problem is laid out and conditional factor demands, as well as the unit cost function, are derived. In section two, this system of equation

Full text
Abstract:
We conduct a discrete choice experiment with leaders of a random sample of 164 Peruvian indigenous communities (ICs) - to our knowledge, the first use of rigorous stated preference methods to analyze land titling. We find that: (i) on average, IC leaders are willing to pay US$35,000-45,000 for a title, roughly twice the per community administrative cost of titling; (ii) WTP is positively correlated with the value of IC land and the risk of land grabbing; and (iii) leaders prefer titling processes that involve indigenous representatives and titles that encompass land with cultural value.

Abstract:
This paper describes a novel, dynamic, forward-looking applied general equilibrium model of Saudi Arabia that represents interactions between the energy sectors and the rest of the economy. This model serves to produce long-term scenarios that describe possible energy transition trajectories in terms of policies, emissions, and economic impacts. This model covers all the sources of greenhouse gas emissions and features several emission reduction technologies and a representation of hydrogen supply and demand. We explain the overall structure of the model and how the different energy demand tec

Abstract:
The rise in inflation in recent years triggered a cost-of-living crisis, in which households’ ability to afford basic necessities declined. The cost-of-living crisis disproportionately affected lower income households, with the proportion in material deprivation (i.e. unable to afford basic necessities) rising by a fifth. This study examines how these households responded to this economic pressure and the challenges they faced in accessing government benefits and available support services during the cost-of-living crisis. In the absence of detailed longitudinal data, the study employed a cros

Digitalization is reshaping the construction sector, offering benefits such as reduced delays, cost control, and enhanced collaboration. BIM stands as the cornerstone of this transformation, ensuring coherence in building realization, including the integration of BIPV. The new Task 15 report not only explores BIM’s potential for solar buildings but also addresses the need for digitalization, standardization, and collaboration to propel the BIM-BIPV dialogue forward. Looking ahead, multidisciplinary discussions are key to advancing BIM-BIPV approaches, and IEA PVPS Task 15 is committed to drivi

Abstract:
Over the last decade, every Paraguayan administration has faced greater political challenges and financial pressures than its predecessor. The result has been a chronic fiscal deficit since 1995. This study disentangles the budget-making process in Paraguay by studying the key players influencing the budget cycle (preparation, approval, execution, and control), their powers, and their incentives. The document discusses how the incentives for cooperation affect the conditions for the sustainability of public expenditures, the efficient allocation of resources, and the representative quality of
