Abstract:
Image classification based on remotely sensed data is the primary domain of automatic mapping research. With the increasing of urban development, keeping geographic database updating is imminently needed. Automatic mapping of land cover types in urban area is one of the most challenging problems in remote sensing. Traditional database updating is time consuming and costly. It has usually been performed by manual observation and visual interpretation, In order to improve the efficiency as well as the accuracy, new technique in the data collection and extraction becomes increasingly necessary. Segmentation of remotely sensed data is increasingly used to create spatially connected groups of pixels, commonly called objects, which are then used as the basic spatial unit in land cover mapping via image classification. There are many methods for image segmentation, and numerous outputs are possible, so numerous that is often impractical to classify all of them and then evaluate each. For this reason accuracy assessment of image segmentation is a necessary step to select a suitable result for object-based classification, hopefully the one affording the highest possible classification accu

The creation and classification of segments for object based urban land cover mapping is the key goal of this master thesis. Sand and mud traversed by tidal inlets and channels, which split in subtle branches, salt marshes at the coast, the tide, harsh weather conditions and a high diversity of fauna and flora characterize the ecosystem Wadden Sea. No other landscape on the Earth changes in such a dynamic manner. Therefore, land cover classification and monitoring of vulnerable ecosystems is one of the most important approaches in remote sensing and has drawn much attention in recent years. The Wadden Sea in the southeastern part of the North Sea is one such vulnerable ecosystem, which is highly dynamic and diverse.

Abstract:
The aim of the project is to perform object based change detection of land cover in specific areas of Czech republic. Landsat 2000 and Spot 2006 satellite images are used as input data. The method used for evaluation of changes is Multivariate Alteration Detection unsupervised method which is based on statistical procedures and is available from e-Cognition software. The results of detection are compared with Corine Land Cover changes database to evaluate degree of parity on detected areas. Different mapping unit is used to be able to detect smaller changes than Corine database. First part of

Abstract:
The red-backed salamander (RBS; Plethodon cinereus) has a large geographic range and, though it is common throughout, abundance varies spatially. It has been studied extensively for at least a century and as a result; its distribution, habitat use, behavioral ecology, reproductive ecology, and ecological role are well understood in comparison to other cryptic wildlife. Multiple sampling methods have been developed to monitor RBS, and I discuss in detail one common method – artificial cover objects (ACOs). Spatial capture-recapture (SCR) is uniquely suited to estimate population parameters, inc

Abstract:
Given a set of n points P ⊂ R2, the Delaunay graph of P for a family of geometric objects C is a graph defined as follows: the vertex set is P and two points p, p' ∈ P are connected by an edge if and only if there exists some C ∈ C containing p, p' but no other point of P. Delaunay graph of circle is often called as Delaunay triangulation as each of its inner face is a triangle if no three points are co-linear and no four points are co-circular. The dual of the Delaunay triangulation is the Voronoi diagram, which is a well studied structure. The study of graph theoretic properties on Delaunay

博士
逢甲大學
中國文學系
107
Due to the enormous amount of Tang gravestone inscriptions, scholars mark a new milestone on the cultural and historical study of Tang Dynasty in terms of stone-carving and epitaph documents. From the perspectives of Tang calligraphy education, calligraphic style, characteristics of epitaph, and unique body part of court ladies, this paper probes into the style of gravestone covers carved for court ladies—taking existent covers as targets. The paper will also explain the historic role of Tang gravestone inscriptions in Tang inscriptions in the hope of discussing t
