Abstract:
Il lavoro di ricerca di questa tesi è volto ad esaminare l’impatto che lo svolgimento della didattica della lingua Inglese a distanza durante la pandemia del Covid-19 ha avuto su due importanti fattori affettivi che caratterizzano l’apprendimento linguistico: motivazione e ansia. In particolare, sono stati indagati i fattori che durante la didattica della lingua Inglese a distanza hanno motivato o demotivato gli studenti, così come i fattori che hanno contribuito ad alzare o ad abbassare i livelli di ansia. Per rispondere alle domande di ricerca è stato utilizzato un questionario somministrato online agli studenti frequentanti una scuola superiore del Nord Italia. Contrariamente alle aspettative, i dati raccolti rivelano che gli studenti non hanno generalmente percepito il fattore distanza come negativo per quanto riguarda motivazione e livelli d’ansia sperimentati.

Abstract:
Syftet med uppsatsen är att studera och bidra till ny kunskap kring om, och i så fall på vilket sätt Covid-19 pandemin har påverkat studenter på Karlstads universitets resvanor. Studien avser även att undersöka om det finns ett samband mellan studenters resvanor och behovet av att befinna sig på en viss plats för att genomföra en viss aktivitet. För att möjliggöra detta ska situationen under pandemin jämföras med situationen före pandemin, för att på det sättet upptäcka eventuella skillnader. För att uppnå syftet har två frågeställningar formulerats. Studiens frågeställningar är följande:  - Hur har Covid-19 pandemin påverkat studenterna på Karlstads universitets resvanor? - Hur har behovet av att befinna sig på en viss plats, för att genomföra en viss aktivitet, påverkats till följd av Covid-19 pandemin bland studenter på Karlstads universitet? Studien utgår från en kvantitativ metod i form av en enkät för att få studiens problemformuleringen samt frågeställningarna besvarade. Teorierna som studien utgår ifrån är tidsgeografi, aktivitetsansatsen samt den geografiska och virtuella rörligheten. Aktivitetsansatsen är en ansats som uppkommit ur tidsgeografin och båda dessa teorier ger möjlighet att analysera hur Covid-19 pandemin har påverkat studenter på Karlstads universitets resvanor. Den geografiska och virtuella rörligheten är en teori som förklarar att kommunikation med andra människor blir oberoende av avstånd i samband med att den virtuella rörligheten utvecklas. Sammanfattningsvis handlar det om att geografiska förflyttningar primärt grundar sig i människans behov att till exempel utföra ett visst ärende eller aktivitet samt möta människor på olika platser. Slutsatsen av studien är att respondenternas vardagsresande har minskat till följd av Covid-19 pandemin och att distansundervisningen har medfört att behovet av att befinna sig på lärosätet har minskat.<br>Our purpose with this essay is to study and contribute to new knowledge about the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on students' traveling habits. The study also intends to investigate whether there is a link between students' mobility patterns and the need to be in a certain place to carry out an activity. To enable this, differences during the pandemic must be compared with prior to the pandemic. To achieve the purpose with this study, two question formulations have been formulated. The study's question formulations are the following: - How has the Covid-19 pandemic affected students at Karlstad University traveling habits? - How has the need to be in a certain place, to carry out a certain activity, been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic among students at Karlstad University? The study is based on a quantitative method where a survey was designed to get the study's problem formulation and the question formulations answered. The theories on which the study is based are time geography, the activity approach and the geographical and virtual mobility. The activity approach is an approach that has emerged from the time geography and both of these theories give the opportunity to analyze how the Covid-19 pandemic has affected students at Karlstad University's traveling habits. Geographical and virtual mobility is a theory that explains that communication with other people becomes independent of distance due to the development of virtual mobility. In summary, it is a matter of geographical movements primarily being based on the human need to, for example, carry out a certain task or activity and meet people in different places. The conclusion is that the respondents every day travelling has decreased as a result of the Covid-19 Pandemic and that the distance learning has reduced the need to be at the centre of learning.

Abstract:
Elementary and secondary schools saw a major shift in how instruction was delivered during the COVID-19 pandemic. Schools across the United States shut down or participated in online learning. This shift to online learning led many to question how special education services should be delivered to students with disabilities. The purpose of this study was to gauge perceptions of special education services delivered in a remote learning environment during a public health crisis. Teachers, related service providers, and parents of students with disabilities (n = 108) from across the United States were surveyed. Results showed synchronous online learning to be the most prevalent form of providing special education services. However, participants largely viewed online instruction as ineffective at providing quality services for students with disabilities. Implications for improving online services for students with disabilities could include identifying specific reasons for participants' negative views which may lead to more actionable steps in improving online learning moving forward. In addition, examining actions taken by schools that have led to positive impressions of online learning among parents and educators could also be used to improve perceptions of online instruction for students with disabilities. Directions for future research are also discussed.

In our study, we deal with the experience gained during the Covid-19 pandemic in Slovakia in the replacement of full-time teaching of design in a distance way using non-commercial freely accessible communication and visualization programs. Based on the experience with these programs during the teaching of the studio of "Basics of design" we can say that although full-time teaching has many undeniable advantages, it can be replaced for some time, even a longer time, for example 2 semesters by distance learning, without appreciable losses of any qualitative indicators. In the article we publish the used programs and platforms used of works of students of the 1st year of design studies.

This thesis aims at exploring how remote learning has been performed in an Italian high school. The investigation has been carried out taking into account the opinions and the digital skills of students and teachers, as well as the economic and the psychological aspects. Both parts involved responded spontaneously and anonymously to an online questionnaire. The central question of this explorative study seeks to point out whether the change caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has left something positive in the Italian educational system. The data that has been gathered confirmed that students and teachers are more aware of these new technological devices and more willing to integrate remote learning as a tool of learning support.

Abstract:
This study is a qualitative study on professionals' thoughts and experiences about autism in the wake of covid-19. To investigate this, three people who are professional psychologists in different fields with experience on people with autism participated through individual interviews via Zoom of between 25 to 55 minutes.         The results of the study are based on the material from these interviews that were reworked from audio file to transcription, which in turn was analyzed with thematic analysis carried out in a six-step process. The thematic analysis resulted in five themes: introverted/extrovert human autism, need for clarity when unclear, reduced risk of being identified as odd – the digital rescue, support and actions and  post-pandemic response and evaluation.          Conclusions that can be drawn from the results of the study are that as a result of the restrictions on social distance, people with autism and neurotypical people suffer approximately equally based on whether the person is socially interested or not. People with autism during the covid-19 pandemic may have gotten it in part better, those who previously asked for distance learning or opportunities to work remotely from their own home have now been given the opportunity. It is important that people with autism receive the support they need during the pandemic from, for example, school health teams. After the pandemic, evaluations of what worked and not during the pandemic for people with autism need to be carried out.<br>Föreliggande undersökning är en kvalitativ studie om professionellas tankar och erfarenheter om autism i spåren av covid-19. För att undersöka detta deltog tre personer som är yrkesverksamma psykologer inom olika områden med erfarenhet om personer med autism genom enskilda intervjuer via Zoom på  mellan 25 till 55 minuter.     Resultatet i studien är grundat på materialet från dessa intervjuer som bearbetades om från ljudfil till transkribering som i sin tur analyserades med tematisk analys som genomförs i en sexstegsprocess. Den tematiska analysen resulterade i fem teman: den introverta/extroverta mänskliga autismen, behov av tydlighet när det är otydligt, minskad riska att bli utpekad som udda – den digitala räddningen, stöd och insatser och utvärdering efter pandemin.     Slutsatser som är möjliga att dra utifrån studiens resultat är att till följd av restriktionerna om social distansering drabbas personer med autism och neurotypiska personer ungefär likvärdigt utifrån om personen är socialt intresserad eller ej. Personer med autism under pandemin med covid-19 kan ha fått det delvis bättre, dom som tidigare efterfrågat distansstudier eller möjligheter att få arbeta på distans från det egna hemmet nu har getts möjligheten. Det är viktigt att personerna med autism får det stöd de behöver under pandemin från till exempel skolhälsoteam. Efter pandemin behöver det ske utvärderingar om vad som fungerat och inte under pandemin för personer med autism.

The Corona pandemic and Covid-19 has affected the entire globe where we had to adapt to a new way of living and a new standard of doing things. For the universities in Sweden and around the world this generally meant that the universities had to switch to online teaching and digital examinations to the largest extent possible. Even though we have lived in this new kind of every day we know barely anything about how this has affected the grades of the students, and what we can learn about it to do things more effectively in the future. In this paper, I examine the possible effects on grades for students at the university level by using newly collected data from Linnaeus University’s department of economics and statistics. Results show that the grades after the decision to switch to online teaching and digital exams in March of 2020, overall became higher for both males and females but no significant difference between the genders were found.

Abstract:
Over the last decades, machine learning research has considerably contributed to important solutions to numerous decision-making problems. Machine learning systems demonstrate enormous potential to generate decisions beyond the performance of humans or hand-crafted engineering systems, by utilising available feedback from environment and the decision history. In spite of significant efforts, challenges remain in developing a generic and consistent learning framework for modelling and optimising decision-making policies, especially applicable to multi-agent environments with frequent agent interactions and uncertain action outcomes. This thesis examines modelling and optimisation of decisions in highly dynamic and uncertain multi-agent environments. Specifically, we develop a general Markov Decision Process (MDP) based learning framework incorporating complex delayed rewards, aimed to optimise adaptive policies in presence of noise and dynamic agent interactions. In developing methods for this optimisation, we address a number of significant challenges: (a) presence of long delays in observing the action outcomes; (b) policy optimisation over complex and/or decentralised behaviours spanning multiple time steps; and (c) low learning efficiency due to the large search-space size. Two domains are selected to examine and resolve these challenges: (i) a large-scale agent-based model of the COVID-19 pandemic and response, with the task of optimising cost-effectiveness of centralised non-pharmaceutical interventions; and (ii) a simulated two-dimensional multi-agent soccer environment (RoboCup Soccer 2D Simulation), with the task of optimising decentralised policies for teams of autonomous soccer agents. Our studies uncover and resolve several interdependencies in modelling and learning action policies for decision-maker(s) in multi-agent environments. Firstly, we develop a general MDP-based framework capable of modelling action decisions at both global level (centralised actions) and local level (decentralised actions), addressing the question of (i) centralised policies versus decentralised policies. Secondly, we propose methods formulating delayed rewards, including short-term (tactical) and long-term (strategic) outcomes, which are applicable for efficient policy optimisation for both centralised and decentralised action decisions, thus addressing the dichotomy of (ii) short-term versus long-term outcomes of action decisions. Finally, we develop heuristics for preserving modular hierarchical decision-making structure, which narrow the search-space size, thus improving learning efficiency and addressing the dilemma of (iii) learning efficiency versus the size of search space.

När coronapandemin slog till våren 2020 var kemiundervisningen på gymnasieskolorna i Sverige planerad huvudsakligen som närundervisning och få skolor och lärare var förberedda på den snabbt beslutade omställningen till fjärrundervisning. Under vår VFU-period under vårterminen 2021 uppstod en unik chans att undersöka hur ett antal erfarna kemilärare ställde om och hanterade denna speciella situation av undervisning med förutsättningar som ständigt ändrades med kort varsel beroende på smittoläget i Sverige. Lärarna blev tvungna att använda digitala verktyg i sin kemiundervisning under perioderna när eleverna inte fick komma till skolan utan satt hemma framför sina datorer. Syftet med denna studie var att utifrån ett lärar- och elevperspektiv undersöka pandemins effekter på kemiundervisningen på gymnasiet som bedrivits i en hybrid delvis på distans, delvis i klassrummet samt ibland till och med båda samtidigt. En huvudsakligen kvalitativ undersökning har genomförts med data från semistrukturerade intervjuer av kemilärare på gymnasiet samt från elevenkäter som analyserades med tematisk analys. Analysresultatet pekar på att lärarna själva medger att de haft stora utmaningar med fjärrundervisningen som de upplever inte gett samma lärande som närundervisning. Trots denna försvårande omständighet upplevde lärarna att de generellt lyckades nå kursmålen tack vare ständiga omplaneringar, merarbete och med extrastöd till eleverna åstadkomma ett lärande i kemi i slutet på läsåret på ungefär samma nivå som tidigare år med enbart närundervisning. Elevernas uppfattning var att det var svårare att lära sig under distansperioderna vilket medförde stora tapp i motivation och de gav uttryck för att de hade föredragit att få vara mer i skolans lokaler för att lära sig mer av eget laborerande och kunna interagera lättare och mer med både lärare och klasskamrater.<br>A mainly qualitative survey was conducted using insights from semi-structured interviews of high school chemistry teachers and thematically-analyzed student surveys. The teachers admitted there were major challenges with using online methodologies and tools for education that had not provided the same level of learning as the traditional classroom environment. Despite the aggravating circumstances disrupting their classes, the teachers managed to generally achieve the course goals. However, it required continuous planning, additional time and extra support for them to help students reach the course goals at the same levels as previous years. The students perceived this initial period of remote learning to be more difficult which led toa reduction in motivation. They claimed that lab work was more conducive at school where they could interact more easily and engage with teachers and fellow classmates.

Abstract:
Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att undersöka och ge förståelse för hur religionslärare upplever attundervisa i ämnet religionskunskap digitalt på gymnasienivå, i ljus av att en pandemi har tvingat störredelen av gymnasieskolformen till digital undervisning. Totalt åtta observationer kring digitalreligionsundervisning och över fem timmars intervjuer fördelat på sju olika religionslärare utgör grundenför studien, som pekar mot att lärare upplever varierad problematik och större utmaningar kring digitalreligionsundervisning än möjligheter. Samtliga lärarintervjuer betonar att dom föredrar den fysiskaundervisningen framför den digital. Majoriteten har negativa kopplingar och känslor kring digitalundervisning, och upplever att det behövs mer stöttning från högre instanser. Den digitala undervisningenhar krävt utökat administrativt arbete för lärarna, vilket leder till känslor av försämrade arbetsförhållanden.Lärarna belyser hur digital undervisning kräver mer av dom både personligen och professionellt, ochflertalet lyfter lärarnas behov av digital kompetens. Två områden beskrivs som synnerligen problematiska.Det första är att religiösa föremål, teman och platser inte nödvändigtvis får samma effekt ochgenomslagskraft i ett digitalt format där flera sinnen försvinner och upplevelsen kan kännas platt. Detandra är att det så viktiga samtalet - ämnets kärna - blir svårare att genomföra kontrollerat och personligtvia skärmar, tekniska problem med mera. Diskussionen haltar och intimt kopplade frågor som etik, moraloch tro blir svårare att skapa ett tryggt och pedagogiskt rum för. Men lärare belyser även att det finnspositiva aspekter, så som att mindre elevgrupper kan fungera bättre digitalt. Det upplevs att vissa mindreelevgrupper jobbar bättre och mer kooperativt på distans, men att större grupper och klassrum fungerarsämre. Lärarna lyfter även att övergången till digital undervisning har fått lärarna att tänka igenom och blimer noggrann med sin undervisning; endast det viktigaste tas upp och lektionsplaneringen blir konkret.Även nya former av uppföljning, översikt och digitala kvitton på elevernas arbete har gjort det lättare attfölja elevernas utveckling, samt gett bättre underlag för betygssättning. Sist men inte minst har lärarna avnöd behövt lära sig digitala verktyg, så som att spela in sig själva och att jobba med video, bild och ljudpå andra sätt än tidigare.Studiens slutsats är att den digitala undervisningen, som den ser ut idag, blir framtvingad på ett sätt somgör att den inte når upp till samma kvalitetskrav och standard som undervisningen i det fysiskaklassrummet. Kunskapsutvecklingen är inte lika god och eleverna får inte samma möjligheter tillpedagogiskt stöd. Digital undervisning kopplar inte in lika många sinnen och det sociala är svårare, vilketockså gör att det är svårare att få fram kunskapen till eleverna. Studien belyser lärarnas upplevda situationoch ökar kunskap om hur religionsämnet undervisas under en pandemi, men det kvarstår viktig forskningkring hur eleverna själva upplever digitala distansstudier. Lärarnas egna upplevelser är dock att digitalundervisning idag påverkar att elevernas kunskaper inom ämnet blir betydligt mindre.<br>The purpose of this study has been to research and provide understanding on how teachers of religionexperience digital teaching in Swedish senior high school curriculum, in light of the switch to digitalclassrooms and education due to the current pandemic. In total eight observations, along with more thanfive hours of interviews distributed over seven different teachers is used as the foundation for this study,finding that teachers experience a varied set of problems and increased difficulty concerning teaching andpedagogical teaching of the subject of religion, more so than possibilities and positive effects. All teachersemphasize that they prefer physical teaching face to face in the classroom, as opposed to digital teaching.The majority have negative experiences and feelings around the shift to digital education and mention thatthey think more support is required from a top level in the educational system. Digital education hasrequired more administrative efforts for already stressed teachers, and this in turn leads to a feeling of aworse working climate. The teachers emphasize that digital education requires more of them bothprofessionally as well as personally, as well as the need for more digital tools and skills to being able todo their job properly. Two areas stand out in particular, one being the lessened effect of religious artifacts,themes and places when the students lose certain senses and tactile ways of experiencing – the other beingthat the vital discussion and social climate is lost, making intimate discussions of moral, ethics and otherpersonal elements of belief harder to approach. At the same time, teachers do lift certain positive trends inthe digital shift, mainly the need to plan properly and to reexamine their lesson plans, leaving only thevital parts in. Beyond that many teachers are now for perhaps the first time really learning themselves touse video, recordings, pictures, audio and other media as means to evolve their digital skills.The study seems to show that the, as of writing, current shift to digital education in a time of ongoingpandemic is a forced and not fully optimal way of teaching. This in turn lessens the quality of educationand, in several ways, actually hinders the students in their educational progress. Support is not as readilyavailable, and many senses are left out of the pedagogical context of the classroom. The study lifts theexperiences of the teachers, but important research is still needed from a student perspective and how theyview digital education from their end.

Abstract:
Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att belysa hur den kris som Covid-19 pandemin skapat harpåverkat hotell och resebyråers digitala taktiska respektive planerade strategiska marknadsföring,samt den krishantering som tillämpats av företagen under denna pandemin och de lärdomar dedragit av denna kris.Teori: Den teoretiska referensramen för denna studie innefattar marknadsförings-, krishanteringsoch organisationsteori. Inom marknadsföring har SCRM samt RACE marketing planningframework modellerna tillämpats och inom krishantering har krisprocessen och kriskurvanmodellerna. Vad gäller organisationsteori har fokus varit på organisatoriskt lärande och teoriernasingle-, double- och triple-loop learning samt learning in crisis.Metod: Studien omfattar en kvalitativ undersökning av två hotell och två resebyråer grundad på ensemistrukturerad intervjumetod.Slutsatser: Covid-19 pandemin har tvingat respondenterna att vara flexibla och att göra kortsiktigaanpassningar av sina marknadsföringsmetoder. Den taktiska marknadsföringen har skett genom enökad användning av digitala kanaler som lyhört anpassats till kundernas behov av hälsa ochsäkerhet. Det var ännu för tidigt för att bedöma eventuella förändringar i den strategiskamarknadsföringen men några respondenter förväntade sig ett större fokus på värde begrepp somhälsa och trygghet. Samtliga respondenter har i praktiken ägnat sig åt krishantering och de flestarespondenterna hade någon form av förberedda krisplaner, som dock inte varit anpassade till en såomfattande och djup kris som den förevarande. Samtliga respondenter verkar ha fått en större insikti vikten av att ha en effektiv och tät intern och extern kriskommunikation. Den yttre situationen harskapat ett stort tryck på respondenterna och har givit dem lärdomar som de möjligen inte hade fåttunder normala omständigheter, inklusive att på ett flexibelt och lättrörligt sätt anpassa sig till nyaoch föränderliga situationer. Även om Covid-19 pandemin framkallat mycket stress och ångest såhar den även haft positiva effekter som kan ge upphov till mer varaktiga förändringar.<br>Purpose: The purpose of this study is to shed some light on how some hotels and travel agenciesin the Swedish tourism and hospitality industry have adapted to and managed the effects of theCovid-19 pandemic, particularly in terms of strategic and tactical digital marketing as well as crisismanagement, and the lessons learned from this crisis.Theory: The theoretical foundations for this paper include digital marketing theories, crisismanagement and organizational theory. In marketing theory, the SCRM and the RACE marketingplanning framework models have been applied and in terms of crisis management, the crisismanagement process as well as the crisis curve models have been applied. In terms oforganizational theory, focus has been on organizational learning and the theories single-, doubleand triple-loop learning as well as learning in crisis.Method: This study is a qualitative study of two hotels and two travel agencies based on semistructured interviews.Conclusions: This study demonstrates that the Covid-19 pandemic has forced the respondents tobe flexible and to make short-term adjustments to their marketing tactics. The tactical marketinghas included an increased use of digital channels and an adaptation of their marketing to theircustomers' needs for health and safety. It was too early to assess any changes in strategicmarketing, but some respondents planned to place a greater focus on value concepts such ashealth and safety. In practice, all respondents were engaged in crisis management and most of therespondents had some form of prepared crisis plans, which, however, were not adapted to such anextensive and protracted crisis as the Covid-19 pandemic. All respondents seemed to have gainedgreater insight into the importance of having effective and frequent internal and external crisiscommunication. The external situation has put a great deal of pressure on the respondents and hasgiven them lessons that they might not have acquired under normal circumstances, including acapacity to adapt flexibly and easily to new and changing situations. Although the Covid-19pandemic has caused a lot of stress and anxiety, it has also had positive effects that could triggerchanges in their longer term strategic marketing.

During the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020, large parts of Sweden's higher education, together with the rest of the world, needed to drasticallymake a switch to distance learning. This involved the use of new technology and video conferencing tools such as Zoom to reduce the virtual distance and get closer to each other without having to be close physically. Umeå University has also had to undergo this drastic transformation of their activities, with lectures, seminars and examinations which all had to suddenly be kept at a distance to reduce the spread of infection. This study consists of a quantitative survey which just over 600 teachers at Umeå University responded to, where their responses show that overall,they’ve had negative experiences where their workload has increased, job satisfaction has decreased and the interaction between the teachers and theirstudents has suffered. At the same time, they respond very positively about the quality of their digital tools and that they’re easy to use. Judging by the results and the answers of the survey, it can also be seen that even though teachers have been quick to adapt to the new distance-based reality, their way of teaching has notadapted in the same way which prevents full utilization of distance-basedtechnologies. All in all, it can be stated that the majority of those who responded to the survey give a picture that teachers prefer to keep their education in classrooms or lecture halls, to have a better interaction between teachers and students.

Purpose – The unexpected yet drastic influence of the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in a rapid transition of education to be conducted in digital environments. Replacing face-to-face classrooms with synchronous online learning requires a number of appropriate adjustments which were heavily restricted by the urgency of this global change taking place. With theobserved issues of student participation and involvement in online learning, the purpose ofthis research was to investigate the potential that digital collaborative tools have and if theycan improve the quality of online group discussions among students aged 12 to 16 years old. Method – This study employs a quantitative data collection approach and makes use of the Community of Inquiry framework. A close-ended questionnaire based on the Community of Inquiry survey tool was used to collect students’ impressions and attitudes after they hadparticipated in the experimental study. The experiment consisted of control and experimental groups that partook in online group discussions as part of a regularly scheduled lesson. Findings – Digital collaborative tools were found to change the way in which students experience online group discussions. The attained rates of the Community of Inquiry were overall higher among students in the experimental group. Our findings tested to be statistically significant together with the effect size falling between medium to large extent. This further supports the notion that digital collaborative tools bring in a positive difference into online group discussions and have a potential to increase the quality of online learning when implemented carefully and thoughtfully. Implications – This study emphasizes the importance of developing a clear strategy of how to implement suitable digital collaborative tools into online learning in the most optimal manner that would increase the quality of online learning. This paper can be considered as a startingpoint for future research that could construct further knowledge within the field and extend our findings by investigating other aspects that have an influence on and can have beneficial effects for younger students in online education.

Given the unique nature of crises, a key capability of the crisis response system is to facilitate adaptive response structures in relation to the circumstances of any given crisis. This thesis views the crisis response system as complex adaptive system, in which adaptive response is an emergent phenomenon that occurs through the interactions of crisis response organizations within the crisis response system. Training cooperative capabilities needed to foster adaptive crisis response has proven difficult, as well as reporting learnings from collaborative exercises in a useful manner.   Based in these challenges, this thesis aims to investigate the potential of using boundary stories as pedagogical tools for learning of inter-organizational cooperative capabilities. This exploration is structured in relation to three research questions:   1.       How can inter-organizational boundaries be described through the lens of systems theory? 2.     What can be learned from inter-organizational work during the Covid-19 pandemic to facilitate learning of cooperative capabilities within the crisis response system? 3.     How can boundary stories be empirically defined and constructed to capture learnings and experiences from inter-organizational boundary work during crises?   It is suggested that inter-organizational boundaries be described as the interactional connections between crisis response organizations through which the organizations communicate and cooperate. Boundary structures can further be understood as one of four types of bureaucratic adaptation, as a function of structure and tasks.   The Covid-19 pandemic has produced entirely new circumstances in relation to how crises are usually thought of within the crisis response system. The long timeframe of the pandemic has forced integrations of crisis and everyday structures, thus producing entirely new inter-organizational structures. The core challenge in establishing these structures is fostering a common understanding between the involved actors.   Finally, a two-part concept of boundary stories and boundary narratives are suggested. The first refers to the enacted living story of the inter-organizational structure, and the latter refers to a simplified, constructed narrative version of the story with the purpose of mediating the experiences of inter-organizational work in an understandable manner to actors not directly involved in the boundary setting to foster learning of cooperative capabilities for future crisis response.<br>Givet att varje kris är unik i sin karaktär så är en av de viktigaste förmågorna hos ett krishanteringssystem att kunna upprätta adaptiva responsstrukturer i relation till de unika omständigheterna för varje uppkommen kris. Den här uppsatsen betraktar krishanteringssystemet som ett komplext adaptivt system där adaptiv respons förstås som ett emergent fenomen som uppstår genom interaktioner mellan organisationer i krishanteringssystemet.    Träning av de samverkansförmågor som krävs för att upprätta adaptiv respons, samt att rapportera lärdomar från samverkansövningar på ett användbart sätt har visat sig svårt i tidigare studier. Med grund i dessa utmaningar syftar den här uppsatsen till att undersöka potentialen hos gränshistorier som pedagogiskt verktyg för lärande av interorganisatoriska samverkansförmågor. Undersökningen struktureras i relation till tre frågeställningar:    1.       Hur kan interorganisatoriska gränser beskrivas genom systemteori? 2.     Vilka lärdomar från interorganisatoriskt arbete under Covid-19-pandemin kan fångas upp och nyttjas för lärande av samverkansförmågor inom det svenska krishanteringssystemet? 3.     Hur kan gränshistorier definieras och skapas på empirisk grund med syfte att fånga lärdomar och erfarenheter från interorganisatorisk samverkan under kriser?   Uppsatsen beskriver interorganisatoriska gränser genom de interaktionsmönster som etableras och uppstår mellan organisationer i krishanteringssystemet, genom vilka organisationer kommunicerar och samverkar. Gränsstrukturer kan fortsatt förstås som en av fyra typer av byråkratiska anpassningar som en funktion av struktur och uppgifter.   Covid-19-pandemin har medfört helt nya förutsättningar i relation till den arketypiska bilden av kriser som finns etablerad i krishanteringssystemet. Det faktum att pandemin pågått under så lång tid har tvingat fram integreringar av vardagliga organisatoriska strukturer och krishanteringsstrukturer, vilket har medfört nya interorganisatoriska samverkansformer. Kärnutmaningen i dessa samverkansstrukturer har varit att lyckas etablera en gemensam förståelse mellan de involverade aktörerna.    Slutligen har ett tvådelat koncept innefattandes gränshistorier och gränsnarrativer föreslagits. Gränshistorier syftar till de pågående, levande historierna som utspelar sig i det interorganisatoriska gränsarbetet. Gränsnarrativer ska förstås som förenklade, konstruerade narrativa versioner av gränshistorier med syftet att förmedla olika erfarenheter av interorganisatoriskt arbete på ett sätt som kan förstås och ligga till grund för lärande av samverkansförmågor för att stärka framtida krishantering.

Pandemin Covid-19 hade en stor påverkan på mänskligheten under år 2020, förutom social distansering på allmänna platser fick dessutomarbete och studier ändras till distans för att undvika smittspridning i samhället. Forskningsfrågan var om denna ofrivilligt distansförlagdautbildning vid universiteten påverkade studenternas upplevdamotivation till studierna samt om det fanns ett samband mellanmotivationen och stresshantering. Vid en kvantitativ studie påstudenter vid Örebro Universitet som besvarades via frågeformulärutifrån studenternas egen uppskattning undersöktes upplevdmotivation och stresshantering. Resultaten visade att det verkade finnas en koppling mellan studenternas inre motivation ochmaladaptiv copingstrategi under de ofrivilligt distansförlagdastudierna 2020, samt att studenter upplevde en lägre nivå påmotivation i förhållande till året innan. Slutsatsen blev följaktligen attdet fanns ett samband mellan stresshantering och inre motivation hosstudenter samt att distansstudierna i samband med pandemin Covid-19 har bidragit till sänkt studiemotivation. Möjliga förklaringar till skillnaderna i resultaten jämfört med tidigare studierdiskuteras.<br>Pandemic Covid-19 had a major impact on humanity in 2020, inaddition to social distancing in public places, work and studies had tobe changed to distance in order to avoid the spread of infection insociety. The research question was whether this involuntary distancelearning at the universities affected the students' perceived motivationfor their studies and whether there was a connection between themotivation and stress management. In a quantitative study of studentsat Örebro University by way of questionnaires that were answeredbased on the students' own assessment, perceived motivation andstress management were examined. Results showed that there seemedto be a link between students' inner motivation and maladaptivecoping strategy during the involuntary distance studies in 2020, andthat students experienced lower levels of motivation relative to theyear before. The conclusion was therefore that there was a connectionbetween stress management and internal motivation in students andthat the distance studies in connection with the Covid-19 pandemichave contributed to reduced study motivation. Possible explanationsfor the differences in the results compared to previous studies are discussed.

Covid-19 pandemin var något som ingen var förberedd på skulle inträffa. Det innebar ett snabbt smittspridningsförlopp till världens länder och samhällena fick omedelbart ställa om på grund av restriktionerna som följde. Arbetsplatser och utbildningsinstitutioner blev beordrade att arbeta hemifrån i den mån det var möjligt, vilket innebar en plötslig omställning till distansstudier för studenter på högskolor och universitet. Studiens syfte var därför att beskriva hur studenters känsla av sammanhang och förutsättningar för lärande har påverkats av de ofrivilliga distansstudierna under covid-19 pandemin. Det framgår även vilka studiestrategier studenterna nyttjat under distansundervisningen. Teorierna som användes vid tolkning av resultat, var det sociokulturella perspektivet på lärande samt hälsoteorin KASAM, eller ”känsla av sammanhang” som den även benämns. Empirin samlades in med hjälp av semistrukturerade intervjuer. Två fokusgruppsintervjuer samt fyra individuella intervjuer som sedan analyserades med hjälp av en kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Resultatet av studien visade att studenterna har olika uppfattningar om hur distansen påverkat dem i olika aspekter, både positivt och negativt. Studenternas upplevelser kring den ofrivilliga distansundervisningen tyder på ett förändrat lärande. Genom att beskriva studenternas upplevelser kring den ofrivilliga distansen kopplat till både lärande och hälsa kan slutsatser dras om nödvändiga åtgärder för utbildningsinstitutioner som en guide eller hjälp för att främja välbefinnande och lärandet för studenter. Det bidrar även till att studien är relevant ur ett hälsopedagogiskt perspektiv.<br>The covid-19 pandemic wasn´t something anyone could have prepared for. The global spread of the infection forced countries to make drastic changes. Workplaces and educational institutions were ordered into work from home policies, to the extent possible, which in turn had a sinificant impact on remote learning for students at universities and colleges. The intention of this study was to describe and document experiences of connection and prerequisities to their learning, and how they were affected by the involuntary restrictions brought on by the covid-19 pandemic. The study grounds in two theories and students chosen learning strategies during the distance courses will be presented. The teories used to interpret the result of the study are the social cultural perspective on learning and health theory SOC, also referred to as ”sense of coherense”. The data for the study was collected through semistructured interviews. Two focus group interviews alongside four individual interviews were analyzed using utilizing qualitycontent analysis. The result showed different experiences among the students, both positive and negative that had impact on them during distance studies with a general result that the ability for learning had changed. The result may offer ideas to necessary measures for educational institutions and guidence to help promote wellbeing and learning strategies for students. Since the study´s linked to both health and learning provides relevance for the health pedagogical perspective.

Den akuta situationen med Covid-19 har haft en global påverkan på utbildning. Vid studiens tidpunkt hade pandemin pågått i drygt ett år och normala förhållanden var inte inom synhåll.  Författarna av denna uppsats har själva genomgått en radikal förändring och har känt behovet av att undersöka kring ämnet programmering vid distansundervisning. För att sätta ljus på de positiva aspekterna och hitta möjligheter för vidareutveckling, vill författarna förmedla det som varit bra respektive mindre bra. Uppsatsen genomsyras av en tematisk analys efter ett antal genomförda kvalitativa intervjuer.  Studien har huvudsakligen sökt efter berättelser, upplevelser och känslor som studenter och lärare på programmet Informationsarkitekt vid Malmö Universitet delar med sig.  Trots att studieresultaten inte påvisade någon märkbar skillnad i förhållande till föregående år, verkar pandemin ha haft en stor inverkan på många områden. Lärarna upplevde att klyftan mellan högpresterande och lågpresterande studenter blivit större. Detta tros delvis bero på att de lågpresterande studenterna drar sig för att be om hjälp, trots att de är i behov av det. Samtidigt tycks de högpresterande studenterna blivit duktigare på att söka information på egen hand.<br>The emergent situation regarding Covid-19 has had an effect on education globally. At the time of this study, the pandemic had been going on for about a year. The usual everyday life was nowhere to be seen.  The authors of this paper have experienced the radical changes and felt the need to investigate the remote education of programming. To shed some light on the positive outcomes and to find possibilities for further improvements, the authors want to relay the successful and unsuccessful aspects. The paper contains a thorough thematic analysis of the conducted qualitative interviews. In the study, stories, experiences and feelings from the students and teachers from the information architect programme at Malmö University have been the main part of the data collected.  Though the grades didn’t show any noticeable differences in comparison to the last few years, the pandemic seems to have had a major impact in many areas. The teachers have witnessed an increasing gap between high performing students and low performing students. It is believed that this may be caused by the low performing students' tendency not to seek help when they need it the most. While the high performing students seem to have gotten better at searching for information by themself.

I samband med covid-19-pandemin rekommenderades gymnasieskolor att övergå till fjärr- och distansundervisning. Det gjorde att lärarna behövde ställa om till en undervisning som till stor del skulle ske via nätet. Tidigare forskning inom området har presenterats. Syftet med detta arbete har sedan varit att ta reda på vilka erfarenheter och upplevelser som matematiklärare på gymnasienivå har haft under pandemin och den tillhörande fjärrundervisningen.  För att uppnå syftet och besvara frågeställningarna användes en kvalitativ metod. Intervjuer hölls med sex yrkesverksamma matematiklärare på gymnasienivå. Dessa var från tre olika skolor, inklusive vuxenutbildning, i en kommun i södra Sverige. Svar från fem av lärarna ligger till grund för resultatet. Analys av materialet skedde utifrån teorin om det didaktiska kontraktet, hur detta kan vara en del av en undervisningskontext och vilka konsekvenser det kan ge när det bryts.  Resultaten pekar på relationen till eleverna är det som blir mest negativt påverkat vid fjärrundervisningen, men det finns även fall då enstaka elever har gynnats. Avståndet mellan både lärare och elev och även mellan elev och elev ökar. Detta blir ett hinder som står i vägen för lärandet. Förväntningarna mellan lärare och elev har ändrats och detta kan ha skapat förvirring och osäkerhet kring undervisningen. Många av lärarna har använt sig av liknande pedagogiska metoder och arbetssätt som innan fjärrundervisningen, men en del lärare har gjort mer drastiska förändringar. För att kunna ta till sig de nya digitala verktyg som krävts har lärarna till stor del tagit hjälp av kollegor. Dessa resultat tyder på att matematiklärare i framtiden kan behöva hitta nya tillvägagångssätt för att nå alla elever, speciellt i en fjärrundervisningskontext. Men även att vissa elever kanske hade gynnats av att kunna fortsätta med sin undervisning på distans.

With the aim of designing tools, processes and means to support secondary school teachers in maintaining a sense of presence, closeness and immediacy when interacting with their pupils remotely in rapidly appropriated digital learning environments due to Covid-19, this thesis examined the meaning, importance and possibilities of creating a sense of presence, closeness and immediacy in remote digital teaching.The process was based on research for design, encompassing literature study, field research and methods of interaction design to reach conclusions on meaningful tools, processes and means of supporting secondary-school teachers in remote digital teaching.Main findings unveiled a sense of presence as a prerequisite for closeness and immediacy and real-time video lessons as the main approach to remote digital teaching, potentially creating an illusion of presence, closeness and immediacy due to pupils’ choice of black screens and muted microphones.Potentially meaningful approaches to achieving a sense of presence, closeness and immediacy identified in this thesis include the use of digital representations, representational correspondence and the concept of testimony in designing for a sense of presence, closeness and immediacy in remote digital environments.

In un ambiente dove la complessità e la quantità di informazioni sono in continuo aumento è più che mai necessario dotarsi di strumenti che permettano di gestire tale agglomerato di dati estraendo quella conoscenza intrinseca fonte primaria di vantaggio competitivo. Tale premessa viene confermata nell’ambito del Demand Forecasting, il processo di previsione della domanda futura di un prodotto o servizio offerto. Un’attività chiave che impatta su molteplici funzioni e attività aziendali con particolare riguardo alle azioni di pianificazione di breve e lungo periodo in ottica di ottimizzazione delle decisioni aziendali. In questo elaborato verranno definite le dinamiche di sviluppo, implementazione e valutazione di Proteus; un nuovo sistema di previsione della domanda basato sull’utilizzo di una rete neurale in grado di combinare le informazioni specifiche e di contesto relative alla serie storica e selezionare l’algoritmo più opportuno nella previsione di ciascun codice, fra i 9 algoritmi implementati. Uno strumento di supporto che possa definire una base di analisi in grado di estrapolare le informazioni significative nella valutazione del futuro, lasciando uno spazio di confidenza finale in cui siano le persone, consapevoli delle dinamiche reali, a prendere decisioni. Un progetto svoltosi all’interno di Orogel soc. coop. agricola, azienda leader nella produzione e distribuzione di surgelati a livello nazionale e in forte espansione in ambito internazionale. Un contesto fortemente segnato dall'avvento di una pandemia globale senza precedenti che ha generato la necessità di ripensare un sistema già confidente affinché comprendesse l'accaduto. Una sfida basata sulla comprensione della metodologia più opportuna per valutare le variazioni impattanti sul contesto di riferimento.

Abstract:
The present work reports the impacts on urban mobility and air quality in Lisbon, Portugal as a consequence of the imposed restrictions to curb the transmission of SARS-CoV-2 virus which causes COVID-19 disease. During the first national emergency period (18-03-2020 to 03-05-2020) the sharp reductions in anthropogenic activities, most importantly road traffic, resulted in generally reduced criteria air pollutant concentration when compared to a homologous baseline from 2013-2019 measured in the six air quality monitoring stations throughout the city. The most negatively impacted air pollutant was 𝑁𝑂2 with a reduction of 54.35% in traffic stations and 28.62% reduction in background stations. An exception to this trend was the observed 𝑂3 concentration increase of 12.89% in traffic stations which is potentially due to changes in the 𝑁𝑂𝑥:VOC ratio and reduced 𝑂3 titration by 𝑁𝑂 as a result of sharp decrease of 𝑁𝑂𝑥 emissions in the usually most polluted city hotspots. This phenomenon raises the need of additional measures to mitigate 𝑂3 pollution increases as part of the Lisbon and Tagus Valley air quality improvement plan which aims to reduce 𝑁𝑂2 concentrations, namely specific measures for VOC management. Google mobility indicator for local commerce was found to be the main anthropogenic activity indicator for Lisbon with a moderate and positive correlation with 𝑁𝑂2 concentration (r=+0.54), whereas the average wind speed was the most relevant natural phenomena contributing to 𝑁𝑂2 concentration with a moderate and negative correlation (r=-0.53). A regressor ML pipeline was trained to predict 𝑁𝑂2 concentration with the available anthropogenic activity, weather, and air pollutant inputs from March/2020 to March/2021, achieving 𝑅2=0.925 on the test set and subsequent feature importance analysis uncovered that anthropogenic features contribute to 41.19% of 𝑁𝑂2 concentrations and natural phenomena features contribute to 58.81%.<br>O presente trabalho relata os impactos na mobilidade urbana e qualidade do ar em Lisboa, Portugal, como consequência das restrições impostas para conter a transmissão do vírus SARS-CoV-2, causador da doença COVID-19, onde durante o primeiro período de emergência nacional (18-03-2020 a 03-05-2020) as reduções acentuadas nas atividades antropogénicas, nomeadamente o tráfego rodoviário, resultaram na redução generalizada das concentrações dos principais poluentes atmosféricos medidos nas seis estações de monitorização da qualidade do ar em Lisboa quando comparados ao período homólogo de 2013-2019, sendo o 𝑁𝑂2 o poluente atmosférico mais impactado com uma redução média de 54.35% nas estações de tráfego e 28.62% nas estações de fundo. Uma exceção a esta tendência foi o aumento observado na concentração de 𝑂3 de 12.89% nas estações de tráfego potencialmente devido a mudanças na relação 𝑁𝑂𝑥:COV e redução da ação de redução de 𝑂3 por reação com 𝑁𝑂 como resultado da redução acentuada da concentração de 𝑁𝑂𝑥 nas zonas habitualmente mais poluídas da cidade. Este fenómeno reforça a necessidade de medidas que mitiguem o aumento da poluição de 𝑂3 no âmbito do plano de melhoria da qualidade do ar de Lisboa e Vale do Tejo que visa a redução das concentrações de 𝑁𝑂2, nomeadamente medidas específicas de gestão de COV. O indicador de mobilidade da Google para o comércio local em Lisboa foi identificado como a atividade antropogénica mais relevante com uma correlação moderada e positiva com a concentração 𝑁𝑂2 (r=+0.54). A velocidade média do vento foi identificada como a atividade natural mais relevante com uma correlação moderada e negativa com a concentração 𝑁𝑂2 (r=-0.53). Foi treinada uma ML pipeline para prever a concentração 𝑁𝑂2 que teve como entradas os dados de atividade antropogénica, meteorológica e qualidade do ar desde Março/2020 a Março/2021, obtendo 𝑅2=0.925 no conjunto de teste. A análise de importância dos atributos identificam as variáveis antropogénicas como responsáveis por 41.19% da concentração 𝑁𝑂2 enquanto que as variáveis naturais respondem por 58.81%.

Метою даної кваліфікаційної роботи освітнього рівня «Бакалавр» є підвищення рівня поінформованості громадян щодо інфікування COVID-19 шляхом аналітичного опрацювання епідеміологічних наборів даних з використанням методів контрольованого машинного навчання. В першому розділі кваліфікаційної роботи освітньоого рівня «Бакалавр» проаналізовано предметну область засобів та методів машинного навчання в контексті їх використання для опрацювання відомостей щодо COVID-19. Виконано аналіз літературних джерел. В другому розділі кваліфікаційної роботи проаналізовано матеріали та методи дослідження. Описано методи контрольованого машинного навчання. Подано аналіз коефіцієнта кореляції. Розглянуто прогнозні моделі щодо зараження COVID-19. Виконано аналіз дерева рішень. Та подано оцінювання результатів.<br>The qualification work is devoted to the study of controlled machine learning methods used to predict COVID-19 infection based on epidemiological data sets. The purpose of this qualification work of the educational level "Bachelor" is to increase the level of awareness of citizens about the infection of COVID-19 by analytical processing of epidemiological data sets using the methods of controlled machine learning. The first section of the qualification work of the educational level "Bachelor" analyzes the subject area of tools and methods of machine learning in the context of their use for processing information on COVID-19. The analysis of literary sources is executed. In the second section of the qualification work the materials and research methods are analyzed. Methods of controlled machine learning are described. The analysis of the correlation coefficient is given. Predictive models for COVID-19 infection are considered. The analysis of the decision tree is performed. This can be seen as an important addition to the entertainment industry since it has the potential of generating great economic impacts. The phenomenon, however, is not free of concerns considering that, like in any other type of gambling activities, online gamblers are susceptible to developing behavioral addiction. This has become a reason of concern to many governmental bodies around the world which are studying this issue due to its social impacts on the population. In this context machine learning algorithms can be applied to understand the behavior of online gamblers and to identify the characteristics of gambling addiction. This work project has the objective of segmentizing users of online gambling platforms in Portugal according to the tendency of these users to have compulsive gambling behavior. It also intends to evaluate the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on online gambling addiction by analyzing changes in user segmentation during the initial periods of the pandemic. This will be done by applying unsupervised learning algorithms, specifically K-Means and Self-Organizing Maps and by comparing user clusters from the years 2019 and 2020.

Relatório de Estágio do Mestrado em Ciências da Educação apresentado à Faculdade de Psicologia e de Ciências da Educação<br>A Escola sempre desenvolveu competências académicas, contudo é imperativo que se desenvolvam também as competências socioemocionas, fulcrais para o desenvolvimento da prontidão escolar e necessárias para que as crianças atinjam o sucesso. Para isso, é fundamental que os educadores e professores estabeleçam parcerias com as famílias. Para desenvolver estas competências e estratégias que permitam o estabelecimento de parcerias entre a escola e as famílias implementámos um programa de formação para educadores e professores, o TCM – AI (Webster-Stratton, 2014).Com a chegada do confinamento obrigatório, decorrente da pandemia devido ao SARS-CoV2, a aprendizagem passou a ser realizada em casa. Para avaliar as perceções desta relação, durante este tempo, foram elaborados questionários para os educadores/professores que frequentaram três dos workshops do TCM, e para as famílias das crianças das suas salas. Foi ainda nosso objetivo verificar se os docentes utilizavam as estratégias abordadas durante os workshops. Os resultados obtidos mostram que todos os docentes implementaram estratégias do TCM - AI para melhorar a sua relação com as crianças e famílias e que as famílias avaliaram as interações com os docentes como muito boas e boas, enquanto estes avaliaram as interações com as famílias como boas.Concluímos que os maiores constrangimentos apontados foram a falta de acesso a meios tecnológicos e de literacia nesta área por parte dos pais. Para garantir equidade no acesso das famílias aos meios tecnológicos, diminuir as desigualdades das crianças com desvantagens socioeconómicas e assegurar a possibilidade de acesso a uma educação de qualidade, recomendamos que seja facultado às famílias acesso a meios tecnológicos e que se realizem formações para os pais, capacitando-os para trabalhar nas plataformas digitais. Estas formações devem ser iniciadas presencialmente, em pequenos grupos, de forma a garantir que se estabeleça um contacto próximo, passando, posteriormente, a formação a desenrolar-se online, permitindo a experiência nessas mesmas plataformas.<br>The School has always developed academic skills, however it is imperative that socio-emotional skills are also developed, because they are central to the development of school readiness and necessary for children to achieve success. Therefore, it is essential that educators and teachers establish partnerships with families. To develop social and emotional skills and strategies that allow the establishment of partnerships between school and families, we have implemented a training program for educators and teachers, the TCM - AI (Webster-Stratton, 2014).With the arrival of mandatory confinement, due to the SARS-CoV2 pandemic, learning started to be done at home. To assess the perceptions of this relationship, during this time, we prepared questionnaires for educators/teachers who attended three of the TCM workshops, and for the families of the children in their classrooms. It was also our objective to verify if the teachers used the strategies discussed during the workshops. The results obtained show that all teachers implemented TCM - AI strategies to improve their relationship with children and families and that families rated interactions with teachers as very good and good, while educators/teachers rated interactions with families as good.In conclusion, the biggest constraints pointed out were the lack of access to technological means and literacy in this area by parents. In order to guarantee equity in the access of families to technological means, to reduce the inequalities of children with socioeconomic disadvantages and to ensure the possibility of access to quality education, we recommend that families be given access to technological means and that training be provided for parents, enabling them to work on digital platforms. These training courses must be initiated in person, in small groups, in order to ensure that close contact is established, with the training taking place later online, allowing the experience on those same platforms.Keywords: School-family partnership; social and emotional skills; distance learning, Covid-19 pandemic.

Desde o início da pandemia por COVID-19 que os hospitais portugueses sofreram enormes pressões para se adaptarem ao contexto de incerteza que se vivia, realocando os seus recursos físicos, materiais e humanos às necessidades do dia-a-dia. Neste sentido, o presente estudo procurou investigar o que mudou na gestão e organização do Hospital de Torres Vedras durante a pandemia por COVID-19 e, desta forma, contribuir para a facilitação dos processos de aprendizagem dos hospitais decorrentes desta crise pandémica. A recolha de dados para esta pesquisa foi feita com recurso a três fontes de informação: entrevistas (em dois espaços temporais diferentes), documentos do Hospital e fotografias. Para explicar o processo de transformação, compararam-se três perspetivas (Organizações Altamente Fiáveis, Coordenação Relacional e a Aprendizagem Organizacional) com os padrões empíricos encontrados nos dados. Os resultados evidenciam onze dimensões, sete inicialmente previstas na literatura e quatro novas. As sete dimensões inicialmente previstas demonstram que o Hospital de Torres Vedras foi uma organização que se comportou como um sistema fiável, onde os mecanismos de coordenação de trabalho foram suportados por uma comunicação informal e por relações fortes sustentadas na partilha, no respeito mútuo e na aprendizagem. Destacam-se ainda algumas dimensões novas, tais como os objetivos supraordenados, a prestação de cuidados de saúde mais diferenciados, a erosão das fronteiras profissionais e o processo de transformação digital.<br>Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, portuguese hospitals were under enormous pressure to adapt to the context of uncertainty, reallocating their physical, material and human resources to the daily needs. In this sense, this study aimed to investigate what changed in the management and organisation of the Torres Vedras Hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic and, in this way, to contribute to the facilitation of the learning processes of hospitals resulting from this pandemic crisis. Data collection for this research was carried out using three sources of information: interviews (in two different periods of time), Hospital documents and photographs. To explain the transformation process, three perspectives (High Reliability Organizations, Relational Coordination and Organisational Learning) were compared with the empirical patterns found in the data. The results highlight eleven dimensions, seven initially predicted in the literature and four new ones. The seven dimensions initially predicted show that the Hospital de Torres Vedras was an organisation that behaved as a reliable system, where work coordination mechanisms were supported by informal communication and strong relationships based on sharing, mutual respect and learning. Some new dimensions also stand out, such as the superordinate goals, the provision of more differentiated healthcare, the erosion of professional boundaries and the digital transformation process.

O impacto da pandemia de Covid-19 na qualidade da aprendizagem dos alunos é o tema desta investigação, cujo ponto de partida é o Decreto-Lei nº 10-A/2020, de 13 de março, aprovado no Conselho de Ministros, que suspendeu as atividades letivas presenciais de 2019/2020 em Portugal, como resposta à crise sanitária vigente. O contexto de estudo é um agrupamento de escolas - AE -, no Alentejo, em Portugal, envolvendo a equipa diretiva e os professores do 3º ciclo, que recorreram ao ensino a distância - E@D - maioritariamente por computador, para seguir em frente com a aprendizagem dos alunos. A investigação pretendeu dar respostas a questões referentes ao(s) efeito(s) da crise sanitária na qualidade da aprendizagem dos alunos, na ótica dos inquiridos, com recurso ao método misto e à triangulação de resultados, apoiada em bibliografia específica. Com este estudo, foi possível compreender a perceção e a representação dos intervenientes educativos inquiridos sobre a resposta educativa emergencial, por meio do conhecimento da organização do AE; da identificação das fraquezas/ameaças, forças/oportunidades; da compreensão da monitorização da qualidade da aprendizagem em contexto pandémico; e inferir em que medida as metas estabelecidas nessa nova arquitetura pedagógica foram (ou não) conseguidas pelos atores educativos inquiridos. Depois de examinados, interpretados e qualificados, os resultados foram triangulados com a bibliografia específica e recurso à Matriz SWOT, para inferências e conclusões, apontando que as metas estabelecidas no Plano de E@D foram alcançadas, na perceção e representação dos inquiridos, pois os alunos continuaram a aprender, embora de forma diferente. A pandemia em si pode não ser uma oportunidade, porém, os achados investigativos apontam para mais fatores positivos, como forças e oportunidades, do que para fatores negativos, como fraquezas e ameaças, no Plano de E@D. Neste sentido, a crise sanitária tem proporcionado lições em gestão e docência; The Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on the Quality of Student Learning: Perceptions and Representations of the Management Team and Teachers in a Grouping of Alentejo Schools ABSTRACT: The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the quality of student learning is the subject of this research, whose starting point is Decree-Law No. 10-A/2020 of March 13, approved by the Council of Ministers, which suspended the 2019/2020 school activities in Portugal, as a response to the current health crisis. The context of the study is a grouping of schools - AE -, in Alentejo, Portugal, involving the management team and teachers of the 3rd cycle, who resorted to distance learning - E@D - mostly by computer, to move forward with the learning of students. The research aimed to provide answers to questions related to the effect(s) of the health crisis on the quality of students' learning, from the perspective of the respondents, using the mixed method and the triangulation of results, supported by a specific bibliography. With this study, it was possible to understand the perception and representation of the educational actors interviewed about the emergency educational response, through the knowledge of the organization of the LA; identifying weaknesses/threats, strengths/opportunities; understanding the monitoring of the quality of learning in a pathomic context; and to infer to what extent the goals established in this new pedagogical architecture were (or not) achieved by the educational actors surveyed. After being examined, interpreted and qualified, the results were triangulated with the specific bibliography and use of the SWOT Matrix, for inferences and conclusions, indicating that the goals established in the E@D Plan were achieved, in the perception and representation of the respondents, because the students continued to learn, although differently. The pandemic itself may not be an opportunity, but investigative findings point to more positive factors, such as strengths and opportunities, than to negative factors, such as weaknesses and threats, in the E@D. In this sense, the health crisis has provided lessons in management and teaching.

A COVID-19 veio requerer mudanças nos serviços de saúde num curto período de tempo. Em geral, os serviços de saúde tiveram de se adaptar a novas circunstâncias e o Hospital Nélio Mendonça, o objeto desta tese enquanto estudo de caso, não foi exceção. A dimensão temporal deste estudo é de um ano e meio, a contar de março de 2020 a setembro de 2021. O quadro de referência para a realização deste estudo inclui a literatura sobre as organizações altamente fiáveis, a coordenação relacional e a aprendizagem organizacional. A análise efetuada mostra que o Hospital Nélio Mendonça respondeu à pandemia através de nove dimensões agregadas, sendo elas a preocupação com a falha, o comprometimento com a resiliência, a deferência com a expertise, sensibilidade às operações, relações de partilha e respeito mútuo, comunicação de elevada qualidade, desenvolvimento de sistemas de partilha de informação e aprendizagem organizacional. Estas nove dimensões agregadas combinam fatores que trazem vantagens competitivas para o HNM no combate à pandemia da COVID-19. No essencial, estas mudanças podem ser explicadas pelo quadro teórico usado no presente estudo. Em suma, as mudanças organizacionais registadas foram, na sua maioria, positivas e ajudaram o HNM e os seus profissionais nesta missão de combate à pandemia.<br>COVID-19 required changes in health services in a short period of time. In general, health services had to adapt to new circumstances and Hospital Nélio Mendonça, the object of this thesis as a case study, was no exception. The temporal dimension of this study is a year and a half, from March 2020 to September 2021. The frame of reference for conducting this study includes the literature on highly reliable organizations, relational coordination and organizational learning. The analysis carried out shows that Hospital Nélio Mendonça responded to the pandemic through nine aggregated dimensions, namely concern with failure, commitment to resilience, deference to expertise, sensitivity to operations, sharing relationships and mutual respect, communication quality, development of information sharing systems and organizational learning. These nine aggregate dimensions combine factors that bring competitive advantages to the HNM in combating the COVID-19 pandemic. In essence, these changes can be explained by the theoretical framework used in this study. In short, the organizational changes recorded were mostly positive and helped the HNM and its professionals in this mission to fight the pandemic.

Este estudo teve como objetivo analisar as perspetivas dos estudantes de Medicina Dentária, nomeadamente expectativas, preocupações, aspetos positivos e a melhorar, acerca do seu envolvimento numa experiência de Aprendizagem-Serviço (ApS) no ensino superior durante a pandemia de COVID-19. As expectativas e preocupações foram recolhidas através de um questionário aberto, e os aspetos positivos e a melhorar por meio de um guião de reflexão intermédia. Participaram neste estudo 45 estudantes, 25 do sexo feminino (67,57%) e 12 do sexo masculino (32,43%), com idades entre os 20 e os 56 anos (M = 25,76, DP = 8,85). Os dados foram analisados através da análise de conteúdo, com o Software do NVivo 27. Nos resultados sobressaem as expectativas relacionadas com a aquisição de conhecimentos teórico-práticos e relacionais, tal como nas preocupações é destacada a preocupação face à impossibilidade de contactar presencialmente com idosos devido à pandemia. Relativamente aos aspetos positivos da experiência, o impacto que a experiência teve nos idosos é o mais referido, enquanto como aspeto a melhorar é referido a experiência ser presencial. Este estudo contribuiu com novos dados sobre as perspetivas dos estudantes face a uma experiência de ApS no ensino superior durante um período pandémico.<br>This study aimed to analyze the perspectives of Dental Medicine students, namely expectations, concerns, positive aspects and to be improved, about their involvement in a Service-Learning (SL) experience in higher education during the COVID-19 pandemic. Expectations and concerns were collected through an open questionnaire, and the positive and improving aspects through an intermediate reflection guide. 45 students participated in this study, 25 female (67.57%) and 12 male (32.43%), aged between 20 and 56 years (M = 25.76, SD = 8.85). Data were analyzed through content analysis, with the NVivo 27 Software. The results highlight the expectations related to the acquisition of theoretical-practical and relational knowledge, as in the concerns, is highlighted the concern regarding the impossibility of contacting the elderly in person due to the pandemic. Regarding the positive aspects of the experience, the impact that the experience had on the elderly is the most mentioned, while as an aspect to improve, the experience is referred to as being in person. This study contributed new data on students' perspectives on an SL experience in higher education during a pandemic period.

Abstract:
Relatório de Estágio do Mestrado em Ensino de Educação Física nos Ensinos Básico e Secundário apresentado à Faculdade de Ciências do Desporto e Educação Física<br>O Estágio Pedagógico é um momento de fulcral importância naquilo que é a formação do futuro docente. É neste período que o estudante em Ensino tem oportunidade de aplicar todos os seus conhecimentos e correspondentes capacidades num ambiente semelhante àquele que vivenciará na sua vida profissional. Através desta aplicação da teoria anteriormente aprendida, a um meio tão imprevisível quanto real, e com uma prática orientada, surge o ambiente fundamental para a existência de uma aprendizagem sustentada de conhecimentos relativos à docência. A realização deste relatório inclui-se nas unidades curriculares de Estágio Pedagógico e de Relatório de Estágio, presentes no 2º ano do plano curricular do Mestrado em Ensino da Educação Física nos Ensinos Básico e Secundário (MEEFEBS), pertencente à Faculdade de Ciências do Desporto e Educação Física, da Universidade de Coimbra. O estágio apresentado neste documento foi realizado na Escola Secundária da Infanta Dona Maria, na turma G, do 11º de escolaridade, no ano letivo de 2020/2021.Este trabalho está organizado em 3 grandes partes, que se exprimem no mesmo número de capítulos. Num primeiro momento, é realizado um enquadramento das práticas desenvolvidas, através da caraterização da escola, da turma e do contexto do estágio e da explicitação das expetativas iniciais existentes aquando do início deste Estágio Pedagógico. No segundo capítulo, expõe-se uma análise reflexiva acerca das práticas e das aprendizagens realizadas, tanto pelo professor estagiário como pelos alunos, ao longo do ano letivo. Aqui, é feita uma análise ao que foi feito, nomeadamente, no que toca às tarefas relativas ao planeamento, à realização (onde se inclui a intervenção pedagógica), e à avaliação. Neste capítulo estarão ainda presentes outros pontos, como por exemplo, as dificuldades sentidas ao longo do processo e questões dilemáticas. No último ponto, está aprofundado um tema problema no campo da intervenção da Educação Física. O tema é relativo às “Motivações dos estudantes do ensino básico e secundário para a Educação Física”, tendo sido um trabalho realizado ao longo do ano.<br>The Teacher Training is a moment of crucial importance in the formation of the future teacher. It is during this period that the student in Education has the opportunity to apply all his knowledge and corresponding skills in an environment similar to the one he will experience in his professional life. Through this application of the previously learned theory, to an environment as unpredictable as it is real, and with a guided practice, emerge the conditions for the existence of a sustained learning of knowledge related to teaching.The realization of this report is included in curricular units of Teacher Training and Teacher Training Report, both considered in the course syllabus (2nd year) of the Master in Physical Education Teaching at Basic and Secondary Level, of the College of Sciences of Sport and Physical Education from the University of Coimbra. The internship presented at this document was realized at Escola Secundária Infanta Dona Maria, Class G, of the 11th form, in the academic year of 2020/2021. This work is organized in 3 major parts, which are expressed in the same number of chapters. At first, a framework of the practices developed is carried out, through the characterization of the school, the class, the context of the internship and the explanation of the initial expectations existing at the beginning of this Teacher Training period. At the second chapter, is exposed a reflective analysis of the practices and learning carried out throughout the school year, both by the trainee teacher and by the students. Here, is made an analysis of what has been done, with regard to tasks related to planning, implementation (including pedagogical intervention), and evaluation. Still in this chapter, other points will also be addressed, such as, for example, the difficulties experienced during the process and dilemmatic issues.In the last point, it is approached a topic related to a field of Physical Education intervention. The theme is related to the “Motivations of students from basic and secondary education to Physical Education” and this was a study made throughout all the school year.
