A methodology for the simulation of CPV systems is presented in four distinct sections: input, optics, uncertainty and electrical output. In the input section, existing methods of describing the solar irradiation that is incident at the primary optical element of a CPV system are discussed, the inadequacies of the existing methods are explored and conditions of validity for their use drawn. An improved and spectrally extended model for a variable, spatially resolved solar image is arrived at. Hybrid CPV-T with combined electrical and thermal output is well suited to solar generation from fixed limited areas, such as on the roof of an industrial or commercial facility with need for heat. VCP belongs to regulation of complement activation (RCA) protein superfamily. A REhnu CPV module uses a 2.6 m(2), back-silvered glass reflector to focus sunlight into a 150 mm diameter receiver housing 36 multijunction cells. Current modules use commercially available 8.8 mm cells operated at 950x concentration with a cell efficiency of 41% for an AM1.5 solar spectrum.
