Nell’era dei big data, del web 3.0, della cultura digitalizzata in alta definizione, abbiamo a disposizione nuovi strumenti e nuove tecnologie atti a creare inedite modalità di fruizione per il nostro patrimonio digitalizzato. In questo commento dell'articolo Le mille guerre di Iryna di Alessia Buccino l'autore evidenzia come dalle guerre nascono nuovi modelli, nuove epistemologie e procedure cliniche efficaci. Per la cura diventa essenzia- le andare oltre il mero evento, anche se traumatico e terribile, e relazionarsi all'altro come individuo con la sua identità e soggettività. L'autore evidenzia il concetto di maschera al quale è legata l'etimologia del termine persona. Riusci- re a prendere contatto con l'altro al di là della maschera permette di creare una relazione e una comunicazione significativa per il paziente e per il terapeuta. Infine creare un intervento a più livelli e a più voci permette di creare quella rete sanitaria che cura.

Abstract:

Neste artigo, objetiva-se demonstrar um processo viável de formação do sujeito criativo investigativo, no ensino e aprendizagem de ciências, sob a égide do desenvolvimento profissional docente. Para isso, implementaram-se fases de criatividade com uso de Sequência de Ensino Investigativa (SEI) na experimentação investigativa. A metodologia foi norteada pela abordagem qualitativa, orientada por características que se mantêm ligadas a ideias e ações sociais de tendência emancipatória, ao mesmo tempo em que fundamenta e instrumentaliza a educação científica. As inferências de resultados apontam para demandas de formação ao homo creare experimentalis, ou seja, aquele sujeito que desenvolve processos de imaginação, com criatividade e autonomia, envolvendo a resolução de problemas propostos, em contornos de atividades investigativas. Além disso, nesta proposição formativa, possibilita-se exploração de ideias e previsões, elaborando planos de ações e experimentando o que se planeja, comunicando e socializando resultados com autonomia, permitindo, assim, atos criativos à ação de ensino e aprendizagem de professores e alunos.

Nell'attuale contesto competitivo le imprese sono chiamate ad affrontare cambiamenti radicali e improvvisi in un clima dominato dall'incertezza. La capacità di ridisegnare i processi produttivi e l'architettura organizzativa e l'abilità di rinnovare il proprio patrimonio di conoscenze diventano elementi fondamentali per conseguire un vantaggio competitivo sostenibile. In questa logica vanno considerate le decisioni di trasferimento all'esterno di alcune attività della catena del valore prassi conosciuta con il nome di esternalizzazione. L'esternalizzazione permette di concentrare le risorse e le energie verso competenze chiave in grado di fare acquisire all'impresa una posizione di forza e creare un valore unico per i suoi clienti. Questo è ciò che si preclude di fare l'azienda ITALSERVICES S.P.A nel settore dell'abbigliamento.

A detailed urban road study cannot prescind from the theme of recovery of its role as heart of urban life. This premise implies a sub version of the common trend to consider the road as a non- place designed for the mere car transit. This presumed car hegemony is the main cause of degradation in urban areas . The increase in vehicular flow and there lated harmful phenomena ( accidents , harmful emissions , noise , landconsumption) cause the disappereance of “ relational spaces ” , therefore a n et decrease i n volume and content of activities of which the road is the scenario. On the contrary, the road has to be a scenari of or a wide range of high social context and calibre events ; these presuppose that the road is also a stage for awide range of voluntary and social activities . These activities pretend highst an dards of t h er m al , acoustic and visual comfort areas wi t h accessibility, safety and aesthet ic value necessary to persuade people to a more fruitful use of the road. It is fundamental , in the recovery of a road systems trip , to provide a holistic approach , and at avoiding the use of standard solutions , taking each area as a unique and distinctive.

L’elaborato è stato redatto con l’intento di approfondire il tema della sostenibilità all’interno del contesto economico odierno, per poi analizzare il fenomeno delle B Corporation quali realtà in grado di apportare benefici concreti al contesto in cui sono inserite e di incrementare le performance dell’impresa stessa. L’analisi di numerosi studi ha permesso la definizione del tema della responsabilità sociale come valore ormai permeato nelle maggiori imprese a livello globale, a causa della propensione dei consumatori di includere le tematiche ambientali e sociali nelle decisioni di acquisto. L’aggressività del capitalismo, infatti, ha originato nei clienti un atteggiamento di ostilità verso il sistema economico attuale, identificandoli quali primi promotori di una politica di attenzione alla sostenibilità, influenzando, di conseguenza, i mercati. L’elaborato è volto ad indagare la realtà delle Benefit Corporation e i benefici derivanti dall’implementazione di politiche ambientali e sociali all’interno della strategia aziendale. In particolare, attraverso un’intervista qualitativa somministrata alle B Corporation, si è raggiunta la comprensione dei vantaggi concernenti l’attivazione di pratiche delineate sulla collettività e, nello specifico, i benefici di appartenere alla suddetta community di imprese.

L'elaborato tratta inizialmente dell'evoluzione della responsabilità sociale d'impresa fino ad arrivare alla creazione dell'integrated reporting. Si passa poi all'analisi di questo nuovo sistema di rendicontazione, attraverso lo studio del Framework internazionale e della nuova normativa italiana per quanto riguarda il trattamento delle informazioni non finanziarie. Nel secondo capitolo, invece, si cerca di spiegare la rilevanza dell'internal audit nelle imprese, mostrando il processo che porta alla creazione di valore. Infine, nell’ultimo capitolo si analizza il rapporto tra IR ed internal audit, per verificare se effettivamente esiste una sinergia. Lo studio si effettua attraverso un analisi qualitativa sviluppata su alcune aziende italiane.

La ricerca ha ad oggetto, dunque, l‘evoluzione della funzione di clinal risk management9 (Vincent, 2001) nelle aziende sanitarie, in una prospettiva economico-aziendale, attraverso una analisi parallela delle metodiche e gli strumenti implementati nel sistema sanitario italiano e in quello irlandese. Tale scelta scaturisce dalla considerazione che le due realtà europee si trovano in una comune situazione embrionale di studi ed implementazione del clinical risk management e presentano affinità e similitudini relativamente alla cornice istituzionale di riferimento. La preferenza per l‘analisi del contesto irlandese, altresì, è frutto di un periodo di ricerche svolto presso la Michael Smurfit Business School dell‘University College of Dublin, in Irlanda durante il terzo anno del Corso di Dottorato di ricerca in Economia e Direzione delle Aziende Pubbliche. Attraverso il supporto e la collaborazione della prof. ssa Gerardine Doyle, è stato possibile, di fatto, analizzare il clinical risk management grazie all‘utilizzo delle facilities presenti presso la struttura ospitante, all‘interazione con i principali attori del sistema sanitario irlandese nonché alla analisi ed all‘ ampliamento degli studi precedentemente condotti nell‘ambito dell‘ Executive Masters in Business Administration in Health Care Management. Utilizzando, infatti, i risultati prodotti quali campo di sedimentazioni per nuovi spunti e riflessioni, si è concretizzata l‘occasione di rinvenire una fucina di idee e ponderazioni sul tema oggetto di studio che hanno fornito un quadro concettuale più chiaro ed ampio dello stato d‘arte irlandese. L‘obiettivo di tale indagine è verificare, attraverso il confronto tra l‘esperienze empirica italiana e irlandese, se i percorsi ad oggi adottati per la gestione del rischio clinico abbiano condotto effettivamente i sistemi sanitari verso un miglioramento della qualità delle prestazioni e verso una crescita delle sicurezza per il paziente. A tal fine si vuole verificare: -) quale è l‘orientamento della letteratura nazionale ed internazionale sul tema della gestione del rischio clinico; -) quale è lo stato di attuazione delle trasformazioni strutturali e organizzative in corso nel contesto sanitario italiano e in quello irlandese; -) quali sono le principali criticità e limiti per lo sviluppo di un sistema di gestione del rischio clinico che crei valore nella filiera di cura e assistenza al paziente.

Nell’era della knowledge economy i differenziali di performance e la creazione di valore derivano dall’intangible book value: per catturarlo, stante la scarsa considerazione in bilancio, occorre stimare il capitale economico. Trattandosi di un valore volatile e rischioso, il presente lavoro indaga le problematiche connesse allo sviluppo e al trasferimento di competenze e risorse immateriali, con un focus sui Family Business. Nel corso del primo capitolo verrà disegnato il quadro degli intangibles (cd Capitale Intellettuale) e introdotta la Resource-Based Theory, che per prima individua nelle risorse aziendali, specie immateriali, la chiave del vantaggio competitivo. I filoni di studio successivi, affrontati nel capitolo due e basati su competenze e conoscenza, forniranno la base teorica per indagare l’intricato rapporto tra piano individuale ed organizzativo, al fine di comprendere in che modo un’organizzazione può creare, sviluppare, mantenere, coordinare ed accrescere un patrimonio di conoscenze, competenze e risorse che sia proprio e distinto dai singoli membri, sviscerando in tale contesto il tema dell’apprendimento. Il focus del capitolo tre saranno le piccole e medie imprese di matrice familiare, nelle quali il complesso di risorse e competenze (familiness) rischia di sfumare con l’uscita del/i leader, assieme al valore aziendale. Dopo aver individuato, nel capitolo quattro, il rapporto tra intangibles generici e avviamento e le criticità del metodo DCF, l’elaborato terminerà con un case study che analizza il modo in cui il private equity gestisce il passaggio generazionale, trasferendo Capitale Intellettuale e valore.

Abstract:

The subject of the present research is related to the field of computer technology applied to support intellectual activities such as text translation, screenwriting and content organization of popular and education courses, especially concerning museum visits. The research has started with the deep analysis of the cognitive process which characterizes a screenwriter while working. This choice has been made because a screenplay is not only an aid to the realization of a show but, more in general, it can be considered as the planning of an education, popular and formative intellectual activity. After this analysis, the research has focused on the specific area of the planning, description and introduction of topics related to the history of science, and in particular, of computer science. To focus on this area it has been fundamental to analyse subjects concerning the didactics of museum visits organization. The aim was to find out the guide lines that a teacher should follow when planning the visit of a museum (virtual museum of the history of computer science). The consequent designing and realisation of an automatic support system for the description and the production of a formative, education and popular multimedia product (for the history of computer science), has been possible thanks to the results achieved through this research. The system obtained is provided by the following features: Â·management of multimedia slides (such as texts, video, audio or images) which can be classified on the bases of the topic and of the profile of the user; Â·automatic creation of a sequence of multimedia slides which introduce the topic; Â·management of the interaction with the user to check and give validity to the product. The most innovative aspect of the present research is represented by the fact that the product is realised on the bases of the profile of the user.

ZusammenfassungA settant’anni dalla lungimirante dichiarazione dell’allora Ministro degli Esteri francese Robert Schuman (1886–1963) il 9 maggio 1950 a Parigi, è possibile constatare come il lungo e sempre fragile processo di integrazione europea, finalizzato a realizzare “un’unione sempre più stretta tra i popoli dell’Europa”, abbia permesso il raggiungimento di obiettivi che hanno fondamentalmente migliorato la convivenza e la cooperazione sul nostro continente. In tal senso, un traguardo essenziale per gli Stati membri dell’UE è rappresentato dalla creazione di un mercato interno che assicura “la libera circolazione delle merci, delle persone, dei servizi e dei capitali”. Invero, l’istaurazione del mercato interno – al pari dell’integrazione europea – è un processo in continua evoluzione. Abstract:

The article presents results of maize improvement for northern zones during activity from the year of fondation of the laboratory. Use of created original inbred lines have permited to develop 23 registered hybrids, including eight in Belarus, two in Rusia and two in Moldova. They also performs research on assessing the combining ability capacity, cold tolerance, height plant density and tolerance for main diseases of inbred lines. They have been created 38 early hybrids with maturity index FAO 160-310 and more than 85 inbred lines from different germplasm groups.

Il cambiamento climatico crea sfide con molte conseguenze sui sistemi socio-ecologici, dal livello locale a quello globale. Queste conseguenze influenzano le decisioni quotidiane individuali o comunitarie sull’uso delle risorse naturali e sui cambiamenti dello stile di vita, nonché le decisioni su come adattarsi alle sempre più numerose conseguenze negative dei disastri naturali, delle ondate di calore e di altri rapidi cambiamenti ambientali. Pertanto, sta diventando sempre più importante il ruolo delle comunità e degli individui nelle iniziative e nelle discussioni per raggiungere il consenso sull’attuazione delle misure per adattarsi ai cambiamenti climatici e ridurre il rischio di catastrofi. Le comunità e gli ecosistemi costieri sono particolarmente vulnerabili all’innalzamento del livello del mare, alle inondazioni, alle frane e all’erosione costiera, che richiederanno cambiamenti nel modo in cui gestiamo i rischi. Tali cambiamenti possono avere un impatto significativo sugli stakeholder e sui residenti locali e possono richiedere diversi gradi e capacità di adattamento. Perciò sta diventando sempre più importante creare un ambiente favorevole e adeguato alla partecipazione degli stakeholder ai processi di consultazione sulla gestione delle conseguenze del cambiamento climatico. Per creare queste condizioni, sarà necessario utilizzare modi innovativi e creativi per promuovere la partecipazione degli stakeholder e superare le barriere comunicative (Hügel & Davies, 2020). L’empowerment climatico (UNESCO & UNFCCC, 2016) si basa principalmente sull’articolo 6 della Convenzione quadro delle Nazioni Unite sui cambiamenti climatici (UNFCCC, 1992), che incoraggia lo sviluppo e l’attuazione di programmi educativi e formativi, lo scambio di materiali didattici, l’accesso del pubblico all’informazione, la partecipazione del pubblico nella lotta ai cambiamenti climatici e ai suoi effetti, e nello sviluppo di azioni adeguate. Nell’Agenda delle Nazioni Unite per lo sviluppo sostenibile fino al 2030 (ONU, 2015) è particolarmente enfatizzata nel sotto-obiettivo 13.3 la misura: “Migliorare l’istruzione, la consapevolezza e la capacità individuale e istituzionale per la mitigazione e l’adattamento ai cambiamenti climatici, la limitazione degli impatti nonché l’allarme precoce”. Poiché la transizione verso una società e un’economia climaticamente neutra e sostenibile dal punto di vista ambientale ha significativi impatti socio-economici, compreso l’impatto sull’occupazione, sono necessarie politiche globali e investimenti significativi in molti settori, tra cui l’istruzione e l’equa inclusione di tutti i residenti. L’UE mira a istituire uno Spazio europeo dell’istruzione entro il 2025 (CE, 2020), che fornisca a tutti l’accesso ad un apprendimento innovativo, inclusivo e permanente. In questo modo si investe su persone che, sulla base delle loro nuove conoscenze e competenze, saranno in grado di affrontare con fiducia il futuro. Le politiche e gli investimenti nell’istruzione e nella formazione volti a una transizione verde e digitale inclusiva, sono riconosciuti come cruciali per la resilienza e la futura prosperità dell’Europa (CE, 2019). La relazione presentata alla conferenza descrive l’approccio innovativo che è stato sviluppato per promuovere la consapevolezza e l’educazione dei giovani nell’ambito del progetto ECO-SMART e che sarà integrato nell’ambito del progetto ECO2SMART. Gli strumenti educativi online riducono la percentuale di insegnamento diretto in presenza e consentono una maggiore interazione tra i partecipanti al processo educativo, l’apprendimento individuale e la ricerca. Gli insegnanti possono utilizzare materiali didattici, quiz e giochi sul portale educativo online del progetto ECO-SMART (https://eco-smart.si/) per motivare gli studenti, aggiornare i contenuti di apprendimento e approfondire la conoscenza. Molte ricerche (Connolly et al., 2012) riportano risultati positivi dei giochi educativi nel raggiungimento degli obiettivi di apprendimento cognitivi, comportamentali, emotivi e motivazionali. Tuttavia, è necessario approfondire la conoscenza della reale utilità dei vari strumenti didattici e altri strumenti inno¬vativi per promuovere la partecipazione e l’attivazione di diversi gruppi target di stakeholder e sui benefici più ampi nel promuovere la cooperazione e rafforzare la fiducia tra ricercatori, professionisti e altri stakeholder nella comunità.

I territori attuali, spesso frammentati dal crescente e incontrollato consumo di suolo hanno bisogno di una pianificazione che ristabilisca la continuità dei luoghi contribuendo a tessere nuove relazioni, intese come legami fisici o immateriali, ed eventualmente ricostruire preesistenti legami di senso depauperati o eliminati. Come mostrato dal crescente uso dei moderni strumenti di comunicazione che altro non fanno che creare delle reti per facilitare la comunicazione e il collegamento tra persone nello spazio digitale, allo stesso modo rimane evidente la necessità di creare delle reti di collegamento nello spazio fisico: collegando i diversi paesi, collegando gli abitanti gli uni agli altri, collegando gli abitanti con il territorio e le sue risorse storiche e ambientali. In misura ancora più marcata, si ritrova l’urgenza di restituire un senso ad alcuni luoghi che hanno subito una trasformazione e una perdita di ruolo, di uso, di cura e quindi di dignità. Il caso di studio si colloca a Roma, lungo il corso del fiume Aniene, nel corridoio fluviale che ancora sopravvive all’aggressione del consumo di suolo e che tuttavia necessita di particolari attenzioni verso la protezione della risorsa ambientale e verso la protezione dai rischi connessi dalla presenza del corso d’acqua a ridosso di zone anche fortemente urbanizzate. L’obiettivo è quello di ricucire la frammentazione urbana e impedire l’ulteriore consumo di suolo lungo questi spazi aperti che sono il risultato di interventi di urbanizzazione, i cosiddetti “vuoti” di risulta, gli SLOAP (Space Left Over After Planning).

This paper describes a new kind of gas-turbine regenerator, the Creare Baleen Regenerator. The Baleen Regenerator is much more compact and lightweight than current regenerators and recuperators. These features make the Baleen Regenerator attractive for regenerative gas turbines for aircraft, power generation, marine propulsion, and automobiles. In addition to a description of the Baleen Regenerator, this paper also gives a design method with which the Baleen Regenerator and other regenerators can be designed directly from input specifications. This design method is illustrated with designs of the Baleen Regenerator for a 20 MW gas turbine and a 3 MW gas turbine.

În lingvistica modernă, printre disciplinele tradiționale, interesul pentru metaforă este manifestat în primul rând de stilistică, lexicologie și lexicografie, care o consideră principalul mijloc, alături de metonimie, de nominalizare secundară. Cu toate acestea, dacă pentru stilistică metafora este principalul mijloc de creare a imaginilor, atunci lexicologia și lexicografia consideră metafora ca una dintre modalitățile de dezvoltare a sensului unui cuvânt, care servește ca mijloc de completare a vocabularului limbii. Lexicologia și stilistica, fiecare din punctul său de vedere, iau în considerare probleme similare de definire a unei metafore, stabilirea locului acesteia în sistemul altor mijloace lingvistice înrudite și au criterii comune de clasificare a metaforelor, ale căror tipuri diferite fac obiectul de studiu al acestor discipline.

Abstract The purpose of this paper is to describe four computer exercises that have been developed for undergraduate engineering students at Union College. Each exercise involves a computer model for predicting steady, viscous flow through an engineering device. All of the analyses were performed using FLUENT, a finite-difference fluid modeling program marketed by Creare, Inc. The following cases are described in this paper: 1. The flow through a square-edged orifice was modeled and results for discharge coefficient are compared with experimental data published by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). 2. The flow through a quadrant-edged orifice was modeled and results for discharge coefficient are compared with published data. 3. The flow through a Herschel-type Venturi meter was calculated and results for discharge coefficient are compared with ASME data. 4. The flow through a sudden pipe expansion was modeled and results for head loss are compared with a theoretical model.

We investigate whether investments in renewable energy – solar and wind plants – create jobs in the municipality where they are located. Using 13 years of monthly data, we exploit the variation in the timing and size of investment projects across more than 3,200 municipalities in Spain, a country with substantial investments in this area. We use a new estimator for staggered differences-in-differences analysis that extends the local projections approach with clean controls (Dube et al., 2022). We find strong heterogeneity in the magnitude and pattern of the impacts of solar and wind investments. On average, solar investments increase employment by local firms, but the effects on the unemployment of local residents are weak. The effects of wind investments on local employment and unemployment are mostly non-significant. These findings have important implications for public policy.

Abstract:

Knowledge of flow regime, holdup and pressure drop is needed in order to design gas and oil pipelines confidently and to minimize construction and operating costs. Previous public studies of two-phase flow in inclined pipes have used small diameter pipes two inches in diameter or less, and have primarily used air and water as the working fluids at low pressure (near one atmosphere). Present design methods are based upon the results of these experiments. In most advanced analyses available today, the flow regime transition is governed by a Froude number, the balance between inertial and buoyancy forces. The primary objective of the work has been to obtain experimental data to challenge the present two-phase flow analysis methods for large pipe size, high gas density, and pipe inclination. Present analysis and design methods for two-phase flow in pipelines are based on correlations of data from small pipes of order 2-inches diameter or less, for air-water flows at pressures near one atmosphere. To achieve this objective, Creare performed experiments in an existing test facility with a special test section assembled for this project. Pipe diameter and gas density are closer to prototypical oil and gas pipeline conditions than previous experiments reported in the literature. The key experimental results include flow regime observations, pressure drops, and holdup measurements. The instrumentation in the test facility allows detailed characteristics of the flow such as slug velocity, slug frequency, liquid film velocity, and slug length to be measured in the slug flow regime.

Abstract:

The article continues, for the first time in English in domestic science, to study the question of the need to create a new scientific theory – the theory of mass information. For the first time too raises the question of creating, in a place of the current theory of mass communication, a system of sciences including: a) mass information (shpuld be created now in rpoh of mass information), b) the theory of mass understanding (has created as a hermeneutics of the masses), c) the theory of mass communication (has created as a theory of the transfer of content) and the theory of mass emotions (started to create in 2017). This is a paradoxical situation – the absence of fundamental theory of mass information in the epoch of mass information. Researches in the scientific works of foreign mass communication also showed the absence of a holistic theory, as well as attempts to create it, even the lack of decisions on the need to create it as a new scientific field.
