The aim of this paper is to determine the phenomenon of artistic translation. In modern philological science, there are various directions of studying the speech characteristics of characters as the primary component of a character's image in a literary work. Contemporary literary studies consider the speech characteristics of characters as one of the aspects of creating characters in literary texts of different genres. In linguistics, the subject of study is based on the material of oral speech and texts that present general, typological, and specific features of communication, as well as the

We describe both the collection of speech material under three levels of stress and the subsequent annotation of stress levels in this material.

The research is supported by the ideas of Pierre Levy and Steven Jonhson as collaborators of technical thinking and Fayga Ostrower, who developed analyses on drawing. They are, however, expanded by Cecília Sa

Abstract:
In order to model the performance of a gas-turbine engine in the sub-idle region, particularly for starting and windmilling, it is necessary to use compressor characteristics which describe their operation and low speeds. As most compressor tests are conducted only in the range of operating speeds normally encountered, the resultant characteristics must be extrapolated in order to define the low speed compressor maps. In this paper, a variety of techniques for the extrapolation of axial-flow compressor characteristics are presented and evaluated. These include those presented by De-You & Z

Abstract:
Sub-idle is a very challenging operating region, as the performance of a gas turbine engine changes significantly compared to design conditions. In addition, the regulations for new and existing engines are becoming stricter and the prediction of engine relight capability is essential. In order to predict the performance of an engine, detailed component maps are required. The data obtained from rig tests is insufficient at low speeds, creating the need for generation of maps within the sub-idle regime. The first step towards this direction is the use of an extrapolation process. This is a pure

The emergence of AIGC has brought attention to the issue of generating realistic deceptive content. While AIGC has the potential to revolutionize content creation, it also facilitates criminal activities. Specifically, the manipulation of speech has been exploited in tele-fraud and financial fraud schemes, posing a significant threat to societal security. Current deep learning-based methods for detecting forged speech extract mixed features from the original speech, which often contain redundant information. Moreover, these methods fail to consider the distinct characteristics of human voice-s

Purpose. The article deals with various lexico-stylistic means of portraying a literary character. The analysis is based on the empirical study of the story “The Pool” by a famous English writer William Somerset Maugham. The main methods used in the research are: the method of contextual analysis and the descriptive-analytical method. Results. The results of the research revealed that the peculiar characteristic of the story “The Pool” as well as of many other Maugham’s stories is the author’s strong presence. The portrayal characteristics of the protagonists, their manner of speech, the surro

The article analyzes transformation of word-forms during spontaneous creation in live television broadcasting. Particular attention is paid to adjectives adverbs. The specific properties of adverbs makes it easier to trace general trends in their transformations, because adverbs are not burdened with many different forms and their variations, that occur in the process of word change of some other class of words at the same time adverbiatives allow to analyze in more detail the semantical and grammatical structure of speech.
