Abstract While earlier neuroscience studies on creativity have been criticized due to their heterogeneity of findings, recent studies in this field have converged to some common practices and methodological approaches, which have greatly contributed to enhance both the reliability and reproducibility of findings in this field. Relevant neuroscience findings suggest that creative cognition requires a conglomerate of neurocognitive processes involving executive functions, memory processes, internally-focused attention, or spontaneous modes of thought. Studies investigating creativity in more naturalistic, real-life settings reveal some overlap with conventional creative ideation, but also indicate that creativity and its underlying neural mechanisms are specific to the particular domain. Another trend in the neuroscience of creativity is concerned with approaches to enhance creativity, involving a broad diversity of interventions ranging from cognitively-oriented techniques to interventions using physical activity.

AbstractThe commentary confirms and builds on Glăveanu’s critical scrutiny of the current stage of creativity research. The need for more actors, theories, methods and definitions will not be fulfilled until critical reflection concerning what has been done and synthesis between different research attempts are achieved. The authors first expand the creativity stage by discussing what will happen in creativity research attempts if we alternate with a “ she, you and they” perspective? They then present a new definition of creativity. Creativity is seen as a collective, generative, novel way of experiencing reality ending with the idea of a shared product that is evaluated as creative in a relevant context. This definition is in line with the development of a new creativity tool or measurement, the Test for Distributed Creativity in Organizational Groups (DOG). The DOG can be used both for measuring the products of creative groups and investigating their processes.

The article discusses one of the key challenges of the global world – the problem of creative self-realization of personality as the way of being human within the framework of cross-cultural interaction. Theoretical-methodological base of research is the concept of creativity reconstruction, revealing the peculiarities of the modern social and cultural mentality and modeling comfortable barrier-free, international environment. The article shows a weak vitality of multiculturalism in the context of intercultural communication and the need for adaptation to the new reality through self-actualization and self-realization of its capabilities and resources through creativity. Authors describe the cultural-historical transformation of art as a way of actualization of a person in the culture. Creativity as a basic life installation is considered as a constitutive element of regulation of ethno-social processes. There is noted the relevance of the issue of cultural objectivism, creating a personality through its spiritual powers and abilities of the social program of "raspredelennykh" (“abstract”) meanings of culture through creativity, considered as overcoming cultural isolation, different cultural space, given the cultural-historical transformation. There is proposed the model of transition to higher stages of effectiveness of cross-cultural interaction through creativity, which is based on the methodology of reconstruction of creative processes in social and cultural space. To implement the adaptive capacity of the model there are selected the most relevant indicators of potential self-realization of migrants and host community. It is concluded that for realizing the potential of the contextual environment, as the bearer of possible properties that contribute to the manifestation of the meaning of human activities, it is necessary to create relevant models of effective cross-cultural communication and cultural migration, which foundation is the creativity as a way of actualization of a person in the culture.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to explore the concept of co-creativity in relation to artistic practice with people with a dementia. The aim of the discussion is to outline how co-creativity offers fresh approaches for engaging artists and people with dementia, can contribute to less restrictive understandings of “creativity” and above all, expand the understanding of people with a dementia as creative, relational and agential. Design/methodology/approach In order to examine current conceptions of co-creativity and to inform the artistic practice, relevant literature was explored and eight expert interviews were conducted. The interviews were thematically analysed and are included here. Findings This paper consequently demonstrates that improvisation, structure, leadership and equality are central elements of co-creative processes and outlines how co-creativity can offer fresh insights into the way in which the arts can engage people with a dementia, the relationship between creativity and dementia and the transformative potential of the co-creative arts for those living with a dementia. Research limitations/implications The paper discusses some of the difficulties that are inherent a co-creative approach, including power relations and the limitations of inclusivity. Due to ethical restrictions, the paper is limited by not including the perspectives of people living with a dementia. Practical implications This paper paves the way for future research into co-creative processes in a variety of different contexts. Social implications A more nuanced understanding of co-creativity with people with dementia could challenge the dominant biomedical and social paradigms that associate “dementia” with irretrievable loss and decline by creating opportunities for creative agency. Originality/value This exploration of co-creativity with people with dementia is the first of its kind and contributes to the wider understanding of co-creativity and co-creative practice.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to report on untold stories that not only illustrate the creativity but also complexity of working in outdoor events. There has been global interest in the creative industries and the creative economy more generally. Events have not been identified or categorised as part of this. Experiences have been identified as part of the creative sectors (NESTA, 2006) and events are seen as experiences (Jackson, 2006; Berridge 2007). There has been little research undertaken about the creative nature of event experiences, especially in how they are created. Design/methodology/approach A theoretical framework was created from literature on creativity more generally to inform the Creativity in Events research project. Interviews with those working in the outdoor events sector were the basis of the qualitative stage of the research project investigating the phenomenon of creativity in events. Findings This paper identifies the core facets of creativity in the management of outdoor events. These were fluency, originality, imagination, elaboration, environment and complexity. A vignette is used to illustrate the intricacy of the nature of creativity in the production of outdoor event experiences. The overall findings were that event management was both creative and pragmatic and that both are necessary. There was a need for a creative environment with processes and familiarity that aided inspiration and originality. Originality/value The background and findings are relevant to recognising events as part of the wider creative economy. A greater understanding of the nature of creativity in events informs both education and practice.

In a social environment that requires young people to adapt to increasingly demanding situations, emotional education and creativity training may be key for both personal development and academic performance. Given that there are currently no known interventions that develop emotional and creative skills simultaneously in a youth population, the main objective of this study was to design, implement, and evaluate the Emotional Divergent–Convergent Thinking Program (EDICOP). The study design was quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group and pretest–posttest measures. The participants included 196 students between 16 and 24 years of age belonging to two centers of higher education. Our results showed that the EDICOP contributed to the improvement of the participants’ divergent-proactive style, positive affectivity, emotional predisposition, and attention, as well as to their preference for cognition. Overall, the EDICOP is, therefore, both relevant and useful, and further research on the mood–creativity link is merited to generate new contexts in higher education for the promotion of both the emotional and creativity dispositions and self-awareness, by combining three basic psychological processes (emotion, cognition, and motivation).

In this paper we presented an overview of theoretical and empirical research in a domain of cognitive psychology of music, psychology of creativity and interdisciplinary studies concerning the creative cognitive processes in composing music, with an intention to bring them into connection and to raise questions about further research. We brought into focus the cognitive processes in composing music since the key role of cognitive mechanisms and processes, next to the emotional experience and imagery, was shown in our previous research. The wide scope of knowledge, within a time span of some 35 years, was introduced covering the following themes - generative models of creative cognition, metacognitive strategies in composing, the relation between creativity, knowledge and novelty, creativity in the social-economical context. We paid attention to the several crucial theoretical models, some of them developed on the basis of exploration of compositional practices, one of the first being John Sloboda's psychological Model of typical compositional resources and processes (1985), that gave a global overview of the relevant components of the composing behavior. Psychology of creativity gave several process models that can be applied in a field of composing music. One of them, developed by Wallas (1926) and adapted for music making by Lehmann, Sloboda and Woody (2002), is the well-known theory of the creative process stages. We considered as the most prominent the Creative cognition approach formulated by Smith, Ward and Finke (1997) and their Geneplore model (1992). The authors listed a wide range of processes that are crucial for creativity, nevertheless they are engaged in the generative or exploratory phase. In our paper, we discussed metacognitive strategies engaged in a process of composing while considering music creation as a self-regulated activity. Further on, the relation between immersion, knowledge, the production of heuristic ideas and the cognitive strategies of problem solving were brought into focus. It was pointed out that quality of the creative outcomes will be influenced by the extent of the person's long-term knowledge structures, drawn intentionally or intuitively during the process, and by the manner in which the elements of that knowledge are accessed and combined. The social and cultural factors were considered in a frame of several confluent models, first of all Csikszentmihalyi's systems theory of creativity (2004), focused less on the creative person but on involving multiple factors. Simonton took into account massive and impersonal influences from the Zetgeist or Ortgeist and grouped them into four categories: cultural factors, societal factors, economic and political factors (2004). Further on, models and concepts, new research methodologies and new technology, that were developed specifically in a domain of music creation, as well as their results, were presented.

This commentary discusses the introduction of video vignettes (VVs) into the context of pharmacy residency application processes. An extension of the conversation around which items are requested of pharmacy candidates when applying to pharmacy residency programs is provided. In conjunction with other documents that provide insights into candidates’ abilities, video vignettes (VVs) are presented as viable considerations to gain additional perspective. Implications for time-saving and cost conservation by utilizing VVs are also in view. Hiring employees will presumably have the latitude to require the content of VVs to address aspects deemed more relevant to their institutional operating procedures. Foreseeable benefits and challenges to video vignette (VV) adoption are described within this setting. Counterpoints are presented in response to disadvantages to adoption that may surface. An example of a VV has been crafted to actualize sample components that may be feasible for future use. The challenges faced by healthcare facilities to filling pharmacy residency positions from a vast number of applicants remain pronounced. Creativity in the pharmacy residency selection process is often stifled by routinized methods of application review. Innovative models such as VVs could offer a refreshing alternative to candidates for showcasing individualities and perhaps afford evaluating bodies a unique resource for further candidate differentiation.

Purpose – While an established stream of research evidence has demonstrated that human resource management (HRM) is positively related to organisational performance, explanations of this relationship remain underdeveloped, while performance has been considered in a narrow fashion. Exploring the relevant but often neglected impact of creativity climate, the purpose of this paper is to examine key processes (mediation and moderation) linking high-performance human resource practices with a broad range of organisational performance measures, including employee performance and HR performance. Design/methodology/approach – The paper draws on a People Management Survey of 169 HR managers from top performing firms in the Republic of Ireland. Findings – The findings provide general support for the role of creativity climate as a key mediator in the HRM-performance relationship. The impact of HPWS on performance is judged universal with little evidence of variation by strategic orientation. Practical implications – Sophisticated HRM is found to directly impact a range of organisational performance outcomes. Creativity climate provides an understanding of the mechanisms through which such impact takes effect. Organisations should develop a clear and consistent HR philosophy to realise HR, employee and organisational performance. Originality/value – The paper offers a more intricate understanding of the key factors shaping both the operation and impact of the HRM-performance relationship. Creativity climate offers an important vehicle to better understand how the HRM-performance relationship actually operates. The paper also highlights the potential of examining multiple organisational performance outcomes to offer more nuanced and considered insights.

In this paper we discuss the semiotic functions of the psychological borders that structure the flow of narrative processes. Each narration is always a contextual, situated and contingent process of sensemaking, made possible by the creation of borders, such as dynamic semiotic devices that are capable of connecting the past and the future, the inside and the outside, and the me with the non-me. Borders enable us to narratively construct one’s own experiences using three inherent processes: contextualization, intersubjective positioning and setting of pertinence. The narrative process – as a subjective articulation of signs in a contingent social context – involves several functions of semiotic borders: separation, differentiation, distinction-making, connection, articulation and relation-enabling. The relevant psychological aspect highlighted here is that a border is a semiotic device which is required for both maintaining stability and inducing transformation at the same time. The peculiar dynamics and the semiotic structure of borders generate a liminal space, which is characterized by instability, by a blurred space-time distinction and by ambiguities in the semantic and syntactic processes of sensemaking. The psychological processes that occur in liminal space are strongly affectively loaded, yet it is exactly the setting and activation of liminality processes that lead to novelty and creativity and enable the creation of new narrative forms.

When compared to their peers, gifted children have more advanced skills in terms of intelligence, creativity, and leadership. Those gifted children need to be supported by special programs that will improve their skills. When the relevant literature is analyzed, it is seen that several symptoms of gifted children are also the symptoms of the children who have Attention Deficit Disorder with Hyperactivity (ADHD). Thus, the possibility of occurrence of confusion between these two during the diagnosis is indicated. Still, there are some findings which show that a child who has ADHD can be a gifted child; and yet children having ADHD would not use their talents in an efficient way. For this reason, they need to be supported with special services. From this standpoint, the aim of this study is to determine the gifted students and revealing the relation between mentioned talents and ADHD. In connection with this, during the research on high school students, The Multiple Intelligences Developmental Assessment Scale is used for determination of the superior talents; and to determine whether the students have any symptoms of ADHD or not Wender Utah Rating Scale is used. The data collected from the analysis suggested that there is a connection between mathematical intelligence and ADHD symptoms. This article is positioned at the intersection of linguistic, medical, and psychological anthropology and reviews scholarship on the communicative processes that constitute moral/ethical care. Varying notions of care have become a leitmotif in efforts to include the analysis of agency and creativity in discussions of the lived experience of marginalization. Understandings of care have in common an emphasis on relationality and activity: Communicative activities of care both constitute and are made relevant by morally/ethically framed relationships with others and oneself. Embodied communication is central in both care activities and the constitution of moral/ethical care. From a phenomenological standpoint, communicative activities of care are simultaneously social action and embodied experience. This article reviews three key themes: ( a) the embodied linguistic constitution of care, ( b) the performance of care, and ( c) exclusion from care. Together, these themes reveal common moral/ethical–aesthetic processes that are shared across diverse social and cultural contexts.

The current goals of the standards-based reform environment can be limiting to teachers’ freedom and creativity. This occurs at a time when immigrant diversity transforms U.S. cities and innovative pedagogical responses are increasingly necessary. The confluence of these two processes is underexplored. Ethnography in New York City and Los Angeles demonstrated how, in classrooms serving immigrant ELs often characterized as the forgotten, neglected “margins” (hooks, 1994) three teachers responded to their transnational, multilingual contexts by developing creative practices. Case studies describe teachers as designers who enacted (a) contextually relevant curriculum making, (b) epistemically open assessment, and (c) critical languaging. It is argued that teachers who work with immigrant ELs in complex contexts are provided with opportunities to be creative designers—an opportunity currently limited by the standards-based reform movement in schools.

Education 4.0 is defined as a student-centered learning model that prepares young for the challenges of the 21st Century, how to deal with emerging technological resources and processes. This case study aimed to encourage 21st Century skills and competencies seen as relevant to Education 4.0, such as teamwork, communication, autonomy, creativity, and innovation. In this study, we analyzed the feedbacks collected to identify which skills were encouraged in undergraduate and graduate students during one semester of the Mobile Robotics discipline, using Project-Based Learning (PBL). Students carried out projects and answered a self-assessment questionnaire about their skills. The qualitative analysis of the case study followed the procedures of the Grounded Theory method. The results indicated that learning based on robotics projects could encourage teamwork, communication, and organization skills.

How to embed reflexivity in public participation in techno-science and to open it up to the agency of publics are key concerns in current debates. There is a risk that engagements become limited to “laboratory experiments,” highly controlled and foreclosed by participation experts, particularly in upstream techno-sciences. In this paper, we propose a way to open up the “participation laboratory” by engaging localized, self-assembling publics in ways that respect and mobilize their ecologies of participation. Our innovative reflexive methodology introduced participatory methods to public engagement with upstream techno-science, with the public contributing to both the content and format of the project. Reflecting on the project, we draw attention to the largely overlooked issue of temporalities of participation, and the co-production of futures and publics in participation methodologies. We argue that many public participation methodologies are underpinned by the open futures model, which imagines the future as a space of unrestrained creativity. We contrast that model with the lived futures model typical of localized publics, which respects latency of materials and processes but imposes limits on creativity. We argue that to continue being societally relevant and scientifically important, public participation methods should reconcile the open future of research with the lived futures of localized publics.

Learning Arabic means learning aspects of the language itself, and each aspect of the habit has its own characteristics that differ from one another. In addition, the language learning system planning is prepared based on basic assumptions and principles that must be held and a clear operational rationale and capability. The assumptions and basic principles of learning Arabic are related to the true nature of Arabic learning. Arabic is a language that must be studied, liked, known and can be mastered by generations of Islam which of course goes through long and varied processes either obtained from formal or non-formal processes. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. qualitative is a deep understanding and interpretation of the meaning, reality and relevant facts. The research results obtained by the researchers were very influential in the teacher's efforts to improve Arabic language skills by using interesting methods by the researchers. Learning Indonesian in K13 is communicative, CLIL, scientific, and genre-based. Indonesian material in junior high school is integrated in one genre. Textbooks as a learning tool compiled nationally consist of student books and teacher books. Bloom revised taxonomy, the highest ability is to create / creativity. Ki Hadjar Dewantara has long coined Tri-N (niteni, nirokke, nambahi) which is relevant to the scientific approach and the process of creating a revised edition of Bloom. Textbooks as a principal guide for teachers and students in learning must apply a scientific approach. Tamansiswa teachings are known as Tri-N. Niteni is the process of marking by paying close attention, using all the senses, digging deeper information, and reasoning by connecting knowledge already possessed from excavated products. Nirokke is imitating what is taught through a model / example / example from the teacher / learning resource by involving the mind, sensing, feeling / conscience and spirituality integrally and harmoniously. Nambahi is the process of adding to what he has learned in developing his creativity and ideas through the activities of designing, creating, and improvising. This study aims to describe the application of the niteni, nirokke, and supplementary processes in genre-based Indonesian SMP textbooks. The research method used is descriptive qualitative analysis of interactive models Miles Huberman. The genres representing this research are description, explanation, procedure, exposition, and narrative genres. The results showed that in these genres the process of niteni, nirokke, and nambahi always appeared.

Quality is not a random occurrence in arts and creativity partnerships. The achievement of quality must be planned. Any arts partnership requires both quality assurance and quality control components. Quality assurance manages quality of processes, while quality control measures deliverables - ‘products’ - against standards. This paper looks at quality from a global and local perspective and argues that arts experiences from children and young people need to be:
• "Fit for purpose": i.e. The arts education experience should be suitable and relevant for the intended purpose and the intended participants/audience.
• "Right first time": i.e. There are certain sets of attributes that are generally associated with quality arts engagement and arts partnerships within education and these can become ‘prerequisites’ for a programme, there by mistakes should be eliminated, or at least reduced.
This paper outlines the key components of quality arts education and suggests that the focus of research needs to move forward from a impact of the arts to quality of the arts.

This article explores new paradigms for the use of computers in learning. Two concepts crucial to the development of qualitatively new kinds of computer-based learning environments are identified: the importance of focusing on the underlying process rather than just the product of a creative effort; and the importance of the computer's ability to record, represent and communicate that underlying process. We discuss the cognitive, pedagogical, and sociological issues relevant to the creation of learning environments in five domains, along with examples of specific possibilities in each: 1) Empowering environments. How can we design computer-based tools that both promote creativity and aid the development of artistic discipline? 2) Games. How can the motivational aspects of arcade-style games be transferred to more fertile learning environments? 3) Communication. How can we break away from the fundamentally linear structuring of ideas necessary in print-based communication and create tools to aid the representation and comprehension of nonlinear ideas and arguments? 4) Writing. How can we create tools to help authors move from the chaos of pre-articulate ideas to the order of a polished document? 5) Education. How can we create a computer-based system that “mirrors” students' thought processes, helping them to reflect on those processes and thereby to improve their metacognitive skills?

Fra et fokus på individet har man således i stigende grad interesseret sig for, hvorledes kreativitet opstår som en konsekvens af et sammenspil mellem mennesker, materialer, teknikker, traditioner, m.m. Det nye perspektiv betyder ikke nødvendigvis, at velkendte pædagogiske metoder må forandres. På den anden side, er det oplagt at afsøge, hvilke potentialer denne nye optik kan tilbyde i forhold til at kvalificere pædagogisk rammesatte læringsmiljøer. Dette spørgsmål undersøges i denne artikel med afsæt i et autoetnografisk casestudie, hvor fire SFO børn udvikler et brætspil i sammenspil med en voksen. I casestudiet arbejder den voksne systematisk med at koble børnenes tanker og ideer til eksterne/interne netværk bestående af aktører, traditioner og materialer. Hermed benyttes kreativitetens distribuerede aspekt proaktivt med henblik på at kvalificere den innovative proces. Casestudiet peger på, at en sådan type didaktik er værdifuld i forhold til at fremme kreativitet og skabe nye typer af kollaborative fællesskaber mellem pædagoger og børn.
Giant World of MonstersA case study of collaborative creative processes among children and adults promoted and analyzed through the lenses of actor-network theory and distributed creativity.Within the last ten to twenty years of creativity research, the focus on interaction and collaboration has increased. First of all, this development is promoted by a new epistemological approach, according to which creativity is viewed as something that is distributed among people, materials, techniques, traditions, etc. This relatively new perspective does not necessarily have to affect well-known pedagogical methods. On the other hand, it seems relevant to explore the pedagogical potentials, this new perspective might entail. In this article, the potential is explored through an autoethnographic case study, in which four schoolchildren (ages 10 to 11) develop a game in collaboration with an adult. In the process, the adult systematically establishes connections between the children’ ideas and external networks represented by human and non-human actors, such as books, materials, persons, games, etc. Thus, the distributed aspects of creativity are intentionally activated and highlighted in order to strengthen the creative process. The case study indicates that this type of pedagogy might be productive in terms of promoting creativity and establishing new types of relations between children and teachers/pedagogues.

The study is aimed at analysing of the constants of advertising texts – advertising onyms – in terms of derivation processes and identifying the most productive methods of derivation in advertising naming. The paper provides a brief description of the advertising language and, in particular, of the advertising onym, introduces examples of modern advertising names created by derivational means of the Russian language. The author differentiates and systematises various functions of affixes in advertising names. The described methodology involves theoretical analysis and generalisation, derivational analysis of advertising onyms, classification and forecasting methods. The author considers pure affixal and combined methods as the most productive methods of derivation of advertising onyms. Onym-acronyms go beyond an informational content. Contaminated structures often include elements of graphoderivation and are considered to be the most multifunctional in terms of pragmatic goals of the advertisement. The advertising language is developing towards creativity, ingenuity and utilitarity, thus, mixing formants, contaminated structures and elements of various code systems within one onym appear to be the most relevant and competitive means of creating constants of advertising texts.

The civil society in East Timor – today The Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste – developed knowledge and views about different constitutional structures during some critical years before the country’s independence in 2002. “Autonomy” proved to be an effective generic concept for this purpose in dialogues and seminars, organised inside and outside East Timor, on the issue of the territory’s future international status. While a certain political autonomy structure, alongside with independence, were the two options in the 1999 UN-led referendum on East Timor’s final status, the concept of “autonomy” was used as a point of reference for the analysis of principally different structural options for small territories – from typical independence, via forms of limited independence and associated state arrangements, to autonomy and levels of integration. Naturally, existing autonomy arrangments are studied when relevant in peace processes, but the concept of “autonomy”, with its need for local adaptation and recognition of difference, brings also compromise and therefore creativity into a process of political wrangling. In addition, an autonomy perspective in peace processes raises the issue of human rights protection on national level – can it protect on the level of an autonomy? The autonomy concept provides, finally, a framework for its own legitimacy, in relation to human rights and other measures in defense of human dignity. To identify a potential autonomy, thus, means assessing the characteristics of difference in such a framework, a process that local voices in East Timor needed to pursue.

Actualizing the importance of socio-cultural sustainability as a factor of sustainable development of society under the conditions of deepening contradictions of the globalized world determines the social order for purposeful formation of the personality that is ready for meaningful activity and permanent growth. Professionally oriented foreign language training facilitates the development of the competence of personal improvement, which primarily consists of the relevant knowledge and ability to carry out meaningful activities, in particular moral self-regulation. It also implies the experience of such activity and certain authority over such life strategy ̶ the strategy of permanent personal development as a prerequisite for successful professional activity and socio-cultural sustainability. The core of this competence is self-cognition based on reflection. It is also concerned with positive thinking and creativity. The key role in these processes belongs to language, which is the tool of thought, the basic mechanism of acquiring knowledge about the objective world. Learning the language, the person masters the basic forms and laws of thinking. Language allows people to go beyond their immediate sensory perception and makes up the element of their self-consciousness, which is highly important from the perspective of personal improvement. Professionally oriented foreign language training is a powerful factor of enhancing students’ cognitive abilities, in particular their self-consciousness. The development of the competence of personal improvement in the process of foreign language training is primarily due to the acceleration of cognitive processes in learning, which is ensured by the intensive use of language as a means of cognition and communication.

Its formation and implementation depend on the policy of the enterprise in the field of personnel management. Complexity and ambiguity of intra-personal processes - the carrier of human capital determine the necessity of progressive movement in the direction of research of cause-and-effect relations between managerial decisions, corporate environment, and the reaction of personnel to it in the forms of activity on the transformation of the human capital of a personality into the capital of the same name of organization and created value. Well-known tools of influence on the mentioned processes consist in the realization of mechanisms formal and informal influence and the creation of conditions for successful stimulation of economic activity. Digitization is the modern trend of economic reality in the behavior of the new generation of personalities of staff. This means the devaluation of the tradition of obedience in response to the priorities of freethinking, determination, uncompromising, creativity and independence, the reference point to "easy", "game" attitude to professional and everyday situations. All this determines the daily habits, interests, properties of reaction to the stimuli of human activity determine the necessity to choose alternative methods of influence from the authoritarian ones. In this regard, the development of the theory and methodology of gamification of the employee's activity in the organization is seen as relevant. The presented article is devoted to the research of gamification's methodology of management in a system of non-material stimulation of commercial bank personnel.

At present, the legal support of a dynamically developing scientific and technological sphere doesn’t have a proper theoretical justification, in connection with which the attempt made in the article to reveal the methodological base of understanding of legal regulation processes in this field seems relevant. Methodology: dialectics, abstraction, analysis, synthesis, systemic method, formal-legal method. As a result of the research, the factors determining the specifics of the legal regulation of public relations in the scientific and technological sphere are identified. Provisions that have fundamental methodological significance for legal research in the form of conceptual ideas that determine the dialectical development of this sphere as a whole and its legal regulation in particular are substantiated. The concept of “freedom of scientific and technical creativity” was introduced as part of legal science as constitutive for the legal regulation of the scientific and technological sphere. The proposed methodology increases the heuristic ability to identify and study the specifics of the legal regulation of social relations in the scientific and technological sphere, and can also be used in the formation of a theoretical legal regulatory model. Results of a research also can be used in law-making activity, in the course of improvement of state policy in the scientific and technological sphere, in the subsequent scientific research.

The concept of self‑engaging organisation should be the basis of a contemporary personnel function. Its assumptions determine the human capital management of an organisation which is based on a positive organisational culture and atmosphere. The concept requires the application of a specific system and tools. Employee empowerment and relevant interpersonal relationships within the organisation are essential requirements for its implementation. The purpose of empirical research was to assess these conditions in Polish companies, considering the diversity of human capital, i.e. age, education level, seniority and professional rank. The analysis was based on the results of a survey conducted on a sample of 1.002 executive employees participating in the implementation of separate manufacturing processes. The results of the research indicate numerous limitations to the broad applicability of the concept of a self‑engaging organisation in Polish reality. It is situationally determined by the diversity of human capital, especially in terms of age and employment form. The assumptions of a self‑engaging organisation, however, are the necessary objective in the perspective of increasing innovation of Polish companies, i.e. the need to unleash creativity and continuous staff development. Thus, they set the direction of changes in the psychological contract and human capital management tools.

Based on a description of the learning processes and approaches to teaching research in the Diploma Program for Strengthening Indigenous Women’s Leadership, coordinated by the Indigenous Fund’s Intercultural Indigenous University and the Center for Research and Advanced Studies in Social Anthropology, we reflect on the “indigenization” of social research and the production of culturally and politically relevant knowledge for the indigenous women’s movement in Latin America. Methodologically, our reflexive comments and thinking about teaching dynamics and student–facilitator interactions are based on our involvement as coordinator and online teacher of the diploma program over a 4-year period (from 2010 to 2013). In particular, our analysis focuses on the context of dispute in which facilitators and leaders in the diploma program came up against the challenge of dismantling the coloniality of knowledge construction when adapting research methods. The students’ fieldwork experiences demonstrate their creativity in adapting and adopting methodologies that allow them to enhance the visibility of indigenous women’s political contributions to local indigenous activism. Mónica Michelena’s fieldwork research took place over a 6-month period in Uruguay in 2010. It was part of a project on the cultural revitalization of the social memory of the Charrúa people, located in the Salsipuedes valley—the scenario of a historical genocide in 1831.

<p>Given its positive economic, social and urban impact, even with low-cost or low-tech materialization, the urban creativity encouraged by the arts is of great interest today. This narrative reviews one of the most prolific careers in this regard addressing the pioneering work by Doris C. Freedman. The late 1960s and the 1970s, in the context of two financial crises, saw a groundbreaking effort to formalize innovative artistic programs that recycled the obsolete city and integrated local communities in the processes. Doris C. Freedman was the first director of NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, the Public Arts Council, and leader of the organization City Walls. These institutions promoted an unprecedented improvement of the public urban life through the cultural action. Such experiences led Freedman to the conception of her last project, the relevant and, still, ongoing Public Art Fund of New York City. This article focuses on her early professional years, when she began and consolidated herself in the task of legitimizing art as an urban instrument for shaping the city. This research provides a contextualized critical analysis on Freedman’s less-known experimental projects before the foundation of the Public Art Fund, enabling an extraordinary source of inspiration for a current creative city-making.</p>

The formal curriculum practices in engineering education have been rethought in order to meet the growing demand for the development of the more traditional skills, as well as newer multidisciplinary skills for the students, making them protagonists in their own development and forging the curriculum through concrete activities (curriculum in action) that go beyond the prescribed curriculum. As a fundamental part of this process, a project was developed by students and professors of the Chemical Engineering course, where the Project-Based Learning methodology was applied. During the traditional curriculum course "Operations and Processes Laboratory", students were able to work with the curriculum in action through four main activities that required the application of technical knowledge linked to communication skills and problem solving, adaptation to reality, proactivity and analytical ability. The development of competences and skills by the students was analyzed based on the reports they presented as a result of their group projects and summarized in a matrix of general engineering competences, based on the Brazilian National Curriculum Guidelines. Through this matrix it was possible to conclude that the students solved the real problem situations using the technical knowledge learned at the University, while taking into account the relevant economic, environmental and social aspects. They defined the theme of their work, goals and the methodology to be developed with complete autonomy. They exercised creativity and used multidisciplinary skills to seek solutions and adapt resources, acquiring equipment and supplies, developing and building adaptively, while utilizing the tools at their disposal. They exercised the analytical capacity to elucidate the results and present improvements and also introduced digital technologies to facilitate communication and other processes.

Individuals and organizations have mindsets that reflect how they view themselves and the world around them. Some prominent authors have commented on this phenomenon and its relevance to business innovation. In this article, we refer to these mindsets as ‘mental space’ and define the latter as the way individuals and organizations perceive markets, products, industries, boundaries, strategies and capabilities.A common mental space is often shared inside an organization and among its stakeholders, concerning how they compete in their industry, strategic group, value chains and chosen markets. This collective ‘conventional wisdom’ often perpetuates itself and proves to be ineffective when major discontinuous changes take place in the business environment. Incumbent (industry-established) organizations face the challenge of developing or nurturing new mental space that enables faster innovation inside and across traditional boundaries, especially in an era increasingly characterized by the phenomenon of ‘open’ and ‘networked’ innovation.Despite the fact that recent business literature and prominent authors emphasize the importance of creativity and innovation for organizations in a turbulent environment, there seems to be lack of a clear definition and guidelines for cultivating new mental space for such activities and processes. By drawing from the extant strategic management literature and relevant business examples, this article suggests managerial levers for cultivating new mental space to drive organizational innovation to higher and appropriate levels for its proactive sustainability.

In the increasingly knowledge-based economy, the role of the service sector, and in particular, of Knowledge Intensive Business Services (KIBS), is widely acknowledged. KIBS are considered 'bridges of innovation'. Furthermore, in addition to this pivotal role in supporting the competitiveness and development of other firms, KIBS sectors are, per se, increasingly relevant in terms of economic dimensions and employment. Creative KIBS span architecture, advertising, multimedia and internet applications, branding, design agencies, etc and leverage creative processes and creative individuals. The importance of these firms is directly related to the increasingly acknowledged role of creativity and innovation for competitiveness. In fact, while some KIBS have grown to significant sizes in the creative sector (e.g., IDEO and Continuum Innovation), normally, these firms fail to grow and consist of only the founding professionals and a limited number of close collaborators. As argued by Florida and Goodnight (2005), the company's most important asset is its creative capital and this is not just a collection of individuals' ideas, but a product of interaction. This paper relies on a sample of eight Italian creative KIBS to analyse the value creation and appropriation strategies adopted by companies that were able to transform their creative capabilities from an individual asset to a company one (creative capital). On the basis of a theoretical framework that is derived from the literature and based on three pillars (Unique Assets Development, Unique Assets, and Unique Assets Value Appropriation), we identify several peculiar assets and strategies that are adopted by creative KIBS. Furthermore, we highlight the importance of Unique Asset Embodiment strategies, i.e., the importance of strategies for formalizing and codifying the unique assets in specific technologies, archives, processes, and even products. We show that these strategies allow (i) to extract more value from the already adopted value appropriation strategies and (ii) to adopt specific strategies of value appropriation.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual reality (VR) have attracted growing attention within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry in recent years. Integration of BIM and VR technology can develop workflow efficiency through enhanced common understanding and prepare students in architecture and engineering programs to become leaders of the AEC industry. However, the current shortage of AEC professionals trained in BIM and VR is still a barrier to collaborative working practice in this industry. This paper reviews previous work on the BIM, VR, and BIM-into-VR in AEC education/training to bridge this gap. It also presents an advanced framework to clarify creating and using the BIM model into VR workflow in the AEC industry through the integrated definition function (IDEF0) model. The authors further evaluated the BIM-into-VR applications in literature and real-life by surveying students’ learning performance in terms of eight characteristics relevant to the VR environment and students’ performance within two projects, one involving the “NASA Mars Habitat Project” and the other involving the “Norris Center Project” at Northwestern University. The results confirmed that BIM-into-VR usability and efficiency in improving students’ main learning performance characteristics: Learnability, Interoperability, Visualization, Real-world, Interaction, Creativity, Motivation, and Comfort. This study addresses the advantages of using BIM-into-VR in AEC programs. It also offers suggestions to AEC educators and students in implementing BIM-into-VR in different courses and creating a roadmap for their future as professionals in the AEC industry.

We utilize a descriptive-analytic approach to field research and look at a variety of literature relevant to teaching religion to young children as a theoretical foundation for our research.The review of school document, field observations, and interviews with the head of the kindergarten and teachers are an integral part of our analytical approach. Our study finds that the teachers of this kindergarten understand the curriculum and have proficiently designed the study plans even though their implementation are at times isolated from the already-designed daily and weekly sketches (SKH and SKM).Furthermore, the evaluation of Islamic religious education in this school is conducted daily and semi-annually (every semester) and the results of both tests indicate the overall progress and achievement of pupils. All of this illustrates that the implementation of Islamic religious education at Pocut Baren Kindergarten Padang Tiji has proceeded adequately for the purpose of achieving educational objectives stated in the curriculum. Yet, it still needs the principal’s and teachers’ further innovation and creativity, so that the teaching and learning processes become richer and are in accordance with the development of scientific progress and the dynamics of the new era.

One of the main problems of contemporary pedagogy is the necessity to consider pedagogical compatibility from an ideological point of view.
It dictates to study the problem of interaction between the teacher and the learner, affect one another's physical and psychological health, and maintaining one another's health in the pedagogical process. The article is based on the results of our questionnaire surveys, conversations among teachers, students, and their parents.
The surveys revealed that in some schools still persists the teacher’s authoritarianism and intolerance towards pupils. While organizing the pedagogical process, only a small part of teachers emphasized the health requirements of the lesson, most of them did not pay attention to the problem of pedagogical compatibility, in particular, the process of interaction between the student and teacher was not considered from the point of view of the health of both. However, the majority of teachers realize that the quality of their pupils' education, the effectiveness of their work, the motivation of children towards education, ensuring their creativity and safety at school largely depend on it.
Thus, the question was raised that in the processes of professional education and advanced training of teachers to seriously discuss this problem and provide relevant pieces of knowledge and competencies to the beneficiaries. All of this has prompted the need to enrich the theory of the term “Pedagogical compatibility” and develop a methodological system for its practical implementation. The article defines the essence of the new term “Pedagogical compatibility for health protection”. The principles, methods, the pedagogical conditions necessary for its implementation, the model of competencies the teacher needs in this field are presented.

The article is devoted to the problems of association between academic and life success of a person with the levels of their cognitive development and several non-cognitive factors. Not only at the level of implicit theories that typically serve as a basis for educational practice but also in specialized psychological works, giftedness is often defined through success, although it is impossible not to recognize these phenomena as fundamentally different. In this regard, providing a distinction between the concepts of “giftedness” and “success” (both academic and life success) appears to be a relevant objective. The main proposition in the present article is that most specialists studying giftedness as personality potential view cognitive factors, primarily intellect and creativity (less often other cognitive functions), as its core and at the rare instances that the non-cognitive factors are considered, they are examined not in association with the structure of giftedness but merely as predictors of success. Therefore, the objective of examining and classifying the cognitive and non-cognitive factors of giftedness development, as well as autonomously analyzing the effective determinants of academic and life success of a person appears to be important and significantly novel. The present article has the nature of a theoretical review, therefore, the research method deployed in it is the analysis of theoretical sources across the broadest possible time frame. Consideration of the evolution of ideas of researchers from different countries and eras and the projection of their judgments, conclusions, and recommendations onto educational and social practice can shed light on the modern understanding of these processes both in scientific and everyday psychology.

The concept of quality of consumption determined by degree of usefulness of consumer goods for society and its sustainable development reveals. The author complements a definition of public consumption with spiritual and moral consumption and considers his role in latent technologies of information wars and also in achievement of sustainable development of society and state. Are considered destructive for the state and the right of a tendency in culture. Shocking in art and media is subdivided by the author on belonging to freedom of creativity and, introducing destructive tendencies in society and the state. Antipodes of shocking are considered on the example of theatrical performances and telecasts. The division of processes and the phenomena offered by the author in art and media on creative and destructive became result of a research. In article differences between cultural creations and the filth corrupting society and serving to his destruction as an element of latent technologies of ideological information wars reveal. Increase in culture is considered as the most important way of protection of society and state in ideological information wars.

Cognition and systematic study of the essence of innovation processes remain extremely relevant scientific and applied problems. The article deals with state and prospects for the innovative entrepreneurship development in Ukraine compared with the countries of innovation enclave to search for catalysts for its activation. The basis of the generalizations and conclusions were the works of domestic and foreign scientists, normative-legislative acts, public reports and plans for the innovative development of Ukraine in various time intervals, data of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, Eurostat, Startup Ranking and Global Innovation Index. In course of the research the author applied a wide range of general scientific and special methods of cognition. To perform a transformational analysis of the innovative entrepreneurship development, the ADIE 7D descriptive model is proposed, which is based on the following seven descriptors: (i) GDP science intensity; (ii) venture financing of innovation activity; (iii) share of enterprises engaged in innovations; (iv) the number of registered patents; (v) implementation of innovation projects (start-ups); (vi) ecosystem of innovative entrepreneurship; (vii) Global Innovation Index. The model allows identifying the stimulants and destimulators of influence on the process of creating a favorable environment of innovative activity. The following should be noted among the key stimulators of the innovative entrepreneurship development: significant innovation potential, entrepreneurial enthusiasm and creativity of innovators. However, the lack of adequate funding and a harmonized ecosystem of innovative entrepreneurship is becoming an obstacle to radical changes aimed at the innovative breakthrough of our country. Based on the results of the analysis, the author presents a strategic map of innovative entrepreneurship development in Ukraine by descriptors of the proposed model. In the course of the further research it is planned to supplement this ADIE 7D descriptive model by implementing new promising descriptors to deepen analytical procedures.

The article describes the basic prerequisites for functioning of a phenomenon of the Ukrainian book journalism as a kind of cultural journalism. At present an increased attention to the cultural journalism from scholars and media experts is caused by the activation in sphere of the Ukrainian cultural management supported by long-term EUEastern Partnership Programme Culture and Creativity (2010―2018s). The subject of the study are both actual infrastructure of media (web portal, TV and broadcast media, blogs and vlogs) generating relevant content, as well as media workers (critics, bloggers, experts) working in this field. The generalized semantics of the terms «book journalism» and its derivatives ― «book mass media», «book journalist», have been justified. The main attention is paid to communicative efficiency of media specializing in topics related to the events and facts of the cultural life of society, especially literature and publishing (LitAzkent, Bukvoyid, Chytomo, BaraBuka, Space of Ukrainian Children’s Literature, UA: Ukrainske Radio, UA:Pershyi, UA: Kultura, Culturoprostir.ua, and so on). The most «painful points» of the Ukrainian cultural journalism, specifically those of the book journalism, have been outlined. Those are a lack of creative human resources, unwillingness/inability of journalists to communicate meaningfully and accessibly to a wide audience, as well as unpopularity of this type of journalism among media professionals. The specific criteria for assessing the professionalism of a book journalist are described, among them deep knowledge in the field of literature, book business, media; involvement in cultural processes, developed literary and art taste, rhetorical skills in popularizing special knowledge, ability to stable and regular work and so on. PurposeTeamwork in the construction industry has attracted much attention from both academic and industrial circles. Most importantly, improving team effectiveness will increase the likelihood of successful project delivery. Recognising the factors influencing team dynamics is important for enhanced team performance.Design/methodology/approachBased on a detailed literature review, a survey questionnaire containing 10 aspects and 25 attributes of teamwork relevant to construction is used to collect feedback from Malaysian construction practitioners from client, consultant and contractor organisations to prioritise these hypothesised variables. The data are then subjected to reliability analysis, descriptive statistics (means, standard deviations, and frequencies), a one-sample t-test, the Kruskal–Wallis ANOVA and exploratory factor analysis.FindingsThe significance of these aspects and attributes is then presented. The three most crucial aspects are “project performance”, “decision-making capability” and “problem-solving ability”. The most influential attributes are “effective communication between project team members”, “efficient team leadership”, “well-defined team responsibilities and roles”, “clear team goals and objectives” and “good collaboration between all project leaders”. The Kruskal–Wallis ANOVA reveals five attributes having statistically significant differences with respect to company size, namely “clear team goals and objectives”, “commitment to the project”, “adequate resources”, “team or task processes” and “creativity and innovation”. Six underlying dimensions are found, comprising (1) participative engagement and task commitment; (2) team responsibility structure and accountability; (3) culture of trust and respect; (4) leader's skills and abilities; (5) top management support; and (6) synergic working environment.Practical implicationsThe identification of these dimensions for team effectiveness provides rigorous basis for formulating useful team-building strategies for integrating a collaborative environment among project stakeholders and consequently improving project performance.Originality/valueThis paper bridges the identified knowledge gap concerning the dimensionality of teamwork attributes in construction-based setting and adds to existing knowledge of how team effectiveness can be leveraged to improve project performance in the construction management literature.

PurposeBrainstorming is a well‐known group process for generating new ideas and stimulating creativity. Important as well as robust findings have been achieved in determining which factors contribute most to facilitating or hindering the group's ideas productivity. Research aimed at comparing face‐to‐face (FTF) with computer‐mediated communication (CMC) led to the conclusion that this latter shared with the nominal group technique the advantages of avoiding either the blocking effect or the identification of the source. More recently, attention has turned to the possible effects of group support system (GSS) in the mediating cognitive processes of generating new ideas. The present study aims to examine the effects of the type of tool and of the anonymity condition on the quality, quantity and diversity of the generated ideas, as well as on group members' satisfaction.Design/methodology/approachUses a 2 × 2 factorial design combining two different GSS tools (topic commenter vs EBS) with anonymity versus non‐anonymity.FindingsIt was found that anonymity generated more satisfaction among the group members. A marginal effect on satisfaction was also found to be related with the type of tools. Contrary to expectations, the EBS tool was not found to generate greater diversity of ideas. An interesting finding not anticipated was the impact of technology on the flow of ideas and on the emergence of new conceptual categories, probably due to alternative strategies of task structuring.Research limitations/implicationsThe use of students as subjects, and the running of the experimental work in a scholarly context, could have contributed to the elimination of fears and to freeing the participants from any inhibition in the anonymity conditions. Within an organisational context with higher social stratification, such anonymous procedures could have significant outcomes. Future research will have to examine whether this effect is relevant to other types of topics and other populations. Another aspect that it is important to re‐examine is the effect of anonymity on the emergence of minority ideas, which could stimulate innovation.Practical implicationsThe type and characteristics of tools were shown to be a decisive factor in the participants' satisfaction, in the communication process and in the idea generation and clustering processes. Although tenuous, this set of data could mean that the characteristics of the tools interfere with the cognitive mechanisms present in the brainstorming technique.Originality/valueExamines the effect of the technology and anonymity in ideas generation within a group context on the satisfaction of the participants.

The interplay between architectural design and human psychology is significant, yet it remains largely unnoticed or even ignored both in and outside the design industry. Moreover, the relationship between design and psychology is not only consequential and is bidirectional. On the one hand, successful design has been shown to have clear psychological and physiological impacts; on the other, psychology, human experience, and the function of our neurological systems all play a significant role in what we perceive to be a successful design. This thesis endeavors to understand how that complex relationship evolved and how it works in today's world and shows how artistic memorial facilities can help emotionally to people. The architectural style has evolved over time as the general public's preferences have changed and as new materials and building processes have been discovered. Some styles have been fads that have quickly come and gone, while others have stood the test of time and been around for centuries, even influencing some modern architecture today. The socio-political, socio-cultural processes taking place in modern society require a serious rethinking of the spiritual, moral, cultural, and historical values underlying the artistic and aesthetic comprehension of the world by students. The problem of the aesthetic education of the younger generation, the gradual revival of traditions and culture of peoples is acquiring special relevance at present. At the same time, interest in studying the problems of introducing young people to culture, particularly works of art of architecture - architectural monuments, is of great importance. Of course, the issues of the beneficial influence of the architectural and spatial environment on the development of artistic creativity of children, instilling in schoolchildren a desire to join the national artistic culture with the help of the heritage of ancestors as a factor in the aesthetic education of schoolchildren, enrichment of their inner world are also relevant. The preceding determines the need for further research of art and pedagogical education and aesthetic education of schoolchildren based on a deep study of the heritage of their ancestors, and above all on the historical and architectural samples of cultural and art monuments. This paper aims to show the development of artistic forms of memorial facilities in Kazakhstan and describe how it will emotionally help people. As well as depict its historical development and significance to the people. This research starts its analysis from ancient times until now with memorable periods in history.

Article is devoted to a research of a role and the place of art installation in the modern world. At the same time the retrospective analysis of a role of art installation in the past and comparative characteristic with the present is carried out. The Ukrainian context of development of art installation is also revealed. At the same time it is found out that installation is not only an important component of modern art, but also an integral part of historical discourse. Due to its visual functions, the installation actively influences the viewer. For the most part, installations are not just an object in space, it is what is the very space - how much the installation work has the ability to fill the space, integrate into it organically and holistically. At the same time, the main factor in the creation and existence of an installation in the exhibition space, as well as in other relevant arts, is its relationship with the viewer. In this study, the socio-cultural aspect of the installation is important, understanding of the significance of this form of contemporary artistic practices for a common worldview system. Such problems as the assimilation of new experience from the point of view of global processes, on the one hand, and the preservation of the national cultural identity in contemporary art, on the other – actualize the pattern of the process of perception of a new culture. In article it is found out that graphic schools are based on existence of certain art and educational institutions where graphic artists who carry out the teaching activity and own creativity a high mission of formation of new generation of masters create. Not less important factor is acceptance of experience of teachers and its further development in creativity of pupils and followers. Art of installation is an integral part of the modern fine arts of Ukraine. Emergence and development of this art form in the national cultural environment became possible under conditions of intensive creative activity of artists which reached the high level of mastery in connection with deeply philosophical judgment of problems of the present. At the end of XX – the beginning of ХХІ century, looking for new ways of development, the Ukrainian artists addressed installation which as it is possible better answered esthetic inquiries of an era and became a symbol of spiritual updating of the personality. Installation turns into a key factor of development of different spheres of culture, thereby playing a noticeable role in development of national culture. Installation in the modern art helps to be focused and inform of the idea and understanding of global problems to adherents of different genres of art, the audience of different age categories and social groups. Since declaration of independence development of the independent state and formation of own cultural policy aimed at providing free development of national culture and preservation of cultural inheritance begins. The state forms the legislative base which can provide cultural development and an open entry of all citizens to its achievements. In 1992 the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine accepts "Principles of the legislation of Ukraine about culture" where the basic principles of public policy in the sphere of culture directed to revival and development of the Ukrainian national culture, ensuring freedom of creativity, free development of cultural and art processes, realization of the rights of citizens to access to cultural values, creation of material and financial conditions of cultural development were declared. It is found out that installation is an art equipment which uses the three-dimensional objects intended for change of perception of space by the person. The term "installation" in English appeared long ago – in the XV century. It means process of construction, collecting, drawing up something (now use it also for establishment definition, for example, of the software). With the advent of different technologies – videos, and later and the computer – arose also different types of installations which now peacefully coexist with other arts, for example, painting or a sculpture, without being inferior to them. Hardly somebody will be able to designate exact date of emergence of installations and their judgment as art form. Now installation represents the certain room according to the decision of the author transformed to art space. It is filled with a number of objects to which the symbolical value is often provided. Harmonious connection of things, their arrangement indoors is also art. Installations can be the constant objects exposed in the museums or be created temporarily in public and private spaces. The space of installation can include different types of the things and images circulating in our civilization: pictures, drawings, photos, texts, video, movies, tape recordings, virtual reality, Internet, etc. Installations are regularly presented at the international exhibitions of the modern art, such as Venetian the biennial. The most prestigious art museums and art galleries of the world give to installation art the best platforms from time to time. At the same time, the research of this form of art lags behind the progressing shaping a little. The phenomenon of installation is considered as a part of a performance that is entirely logical. But install processes, especially the last decades, proved what is absolutely self-sufficient the cultural phenomena which need serious scientific approach and judgment, require attention to a research of characteristics install the practician, activity of certain artists, a tipologization and the scientific analysis of modern processes

The article is devoted to the interdependent identification of the city and park, which is carried out visualizing the opposition of their essential senses. In order to manage the traditional models of their consideration as separations, situationally constituent within the territorial union, the bases for examining the city as a space for the restoration of the human being and the need for its adequate, ontologically based, interdisciplinary studies, have been analysed. In this context, the park is considered as a visual legitimator of the city; the city is like the open dynamic structure that is in need of different, including indirect identificators. In such a way, a new – correlational – model of their study has been proposed, built on the visual ability to fix and covey the meanings. The visions of the city as the dominant territory of modern human implementation have real foundations resulting in the development of the relevant theoretical discourse, which is intended to find correct explanations. At this point, there is a connection of the city in its comprehensive value with the unified human being, which is the epicenter of the human matter realization – and in the processes of its permanent resurrection, and its own creativity as well. The force field of their attractive interaction foremost are man-made locations of the unutility nature, which represent the internal resource of decoding the humanistic symbolic signs. Absolute leaders in this essence are the parks designated in the city-building in the capacity of all recreational areas. In the visible picture of the city – its multivisuality – they have special words expressed by the way of visualization. Their use is optics directed to the depth of the human being. The park, built into the urban system, sharpens it as much as possible, facilitated by the controversy with the garden, in the visual text of which it fulfills a human saving function. Simultaneously, the park visions crystallize the semiosis of the city as a space of life-saving pragmatics.

Abstract Current educational systems and processes need to anticipate the challenges of the new millennium and lay the foundations for the future in the economic, social, technological, cultural and relational context. New educational programs must seriously consider a number of conditions such as: entirely new ways of serving existing needs and significantly disrupt existing industry value chains; growing transparency, consumer engagement, and new patterns of consumer behavior; the development of technology-enabled platforms that combine both demand and supply to disrupt existing industry structures, such as those we see within the “sharing” or “on demand” economy. In this paper I`ve started from the assumption that in the specific conditions of a creativity-based economy is necessary to rethink the components of the matrix partnership crossing from `triple helix` to `quadruple helix` logic. This new model becomes necessary because under current regional and international circumstances Mode 3 of knowledge production has become generalized. In this paper I`ve opted for the concept that adds civil society proposing reformulate the analytical model so as to place in balance integration with differentiation to produce suitability for a societal design defined by the self-organization of the sense communication process with respect to the analytical axes of complex systems. The basic idea of the research is to identify the way in which the challenges of internationalization of education, the transformations required by the emergence of this process, and the most relevant redefining that must take place at the level of curricular architectures and learning methods are understood. Based on the research I have made, I recommended few ways to cope with sensitive challenges educational systems are confronted with such as: better connecting theory and practice, teaching a more useful economics, designing the future based on the understanding of the past, minimizing the rhetorical component and maximizing the factual one, testing conformity of different ideas in advance.

One of the «black holes» of academic research in Communication is the shallowness of reflections on the classic origins of Communication, its aims and points of entry. In this respect, the study of communicative processes on the Internet becomes particularly relevant (specifically the social networks processes) when observed from the classic rhetorical perspective. We focus on the use of persuasion strategies (ethos, pathos, logos) as well as the abundant use of rhetorical figures. Such parameters, along with the resources that emergent technologies offer, unleash creativity and afford humanist aspects to network communication. These give online platforms an extremely persuasive strength. Thus, we may speak of the network user of the 21st century as the new «Rhetorician». Our research on Facebook addresses the presence of rhetoric in online social network communication: the user of these platforms applies communicative strategies described by the Rhetoricians dating back to GrecoRoman antiquity. The methodology in this work (the study of three typified cases and the content analysis of conversations generated on Facebook walls) allows us to intertwine rhetoric and communication today, mediated by the emergence of online networks. We propose the retrieval of certain parameters of deep, critical thought to the benefit of a more human communication. Uno de los «agujeros negros» de la investigación en comunicación tiene que ver con una carencia de profundización en los orígenes clásicos de nuestros estudios, de sus objetos y de los acercamientos a estos. En este sentido, cobraría especial relevancia el estudio de los procesos comunicativos en Internet (en concreto a través de las redes sociales) bajo el prisma de la Retórica clásica. Especialmente, nos referimos al uso de las estrategias de persuasión (ethos, pathos, logos) así como al abundante uso de figuras retóricas. Tales parámetros unidos a los recursos que ofertan las tecnologías emergentes otorgan una enorme creatividad y aportan aspectos humanistas a la comunicación en red, claves de la fuerza persuasiva que caracteriza a estas plataformas online. De esta forma podemos hablar del usuario de redes como el nuevo «rétor» del siglo XXI. Nuestra investigación sobre Facebook aborda la presencia de la ciencia retórica en la comunicación generada en las redes sociales online: el usuario de estas plataformas utiliza las estrategias comunicativas descritas por la disciplina retórica desde sus comienzos en la antigüedad grecolatina. La metodología empleada (el estudio de tres casos tipificados y el análisis de contenidos de las conversaciones generadas en los muros de Facebook) nos permite entrelazar la Retórica y nuestro presente comunicativo mediado por la emergencia de las redes. Proponemos así recuperar unos parámetros que devuelvan el pensamiento profundo y crítico en favor de una comunicación más humana.

The idea of the post-capitalist society has long been associated with the “grassroots” struggle of the exploited classes for the society that is free from all forms of domination and exploitation. D.Davydov does not consider this approach scientific and proposes one should change the lens of research and focus on what is happening at the level of the elites, where the new world is slowly maturing and new relationships are often intertwined with the old ones. The article is devoted to the justification of the argument, according to which the development of the post-capitalist social relations has been going on for a relatively long time — as the rise of people who “possess a personality” (personaliat). The author demonstrates that the unfol ding processes can be explained by the deep economic changes — the transformation of creativity into the predominant source of consumer values. The author elabo rates the idea that the essence of the knowledge economy is not capitalist or even is anti-capitalist, but at the same time he suggests that it is the nature of social relations around creative activity that should be consi dered rather than creative activity per se. From his point of view, despite the fact that the consequences of such activities complicate the functioning of the capitalist economy, the demise of the old economy does not mean that somewhere beyond the horizon we will have a cloudless non-antagonistic future. It is much more relevant to view post-capitalist transformation as the gradual rise to dominance of those who possess power over public attention. The author starts the article with a brief “history of personality” and after that demonstrates how the depersonalized world was gradually “colo nized” by creative public figures. According to his conclusion, today we witness a large-scale transformation of the Political, which is associated with the trend that representatives of personaliat assumed roles of key actors in the political process. Power is transferred from those with money to those with persona lity. However, this shift in itself hardly guarantees the establishment of an egalitarian social order that has overcome all forms of alienation and inequality. Moreover, at the moment such prospect looks doubtful.
