Abstract:
These Studies in the interpretation of Genesis 26.1-33 are concerned with a relatively brief and well defined section of biblical Hebrew narrative, and following an Introduction are divided into two parts reflecting literary and historical interests respectively. The Introduction takes note of the current interest among Old Testament scholars in the literary interpretation of the biblical materials and, after opting for an approach which will take account of both literary and historical-critical enquiry, outlines the procedure which will be followed. Rev 11:1-13 is examined in relation to the wider complex of traditions concerning Antichrist and the return of Enoch and Elijah. The commentary tradition on Revelation is examined, including an extensive reconstruction of Tyconius. In sum, as an important text, the Decalogue not only stipulates religious and social life for ancient Israelite and create the symbol of their identity, but also, in the process of its historical dissemination, responds to different cultures continuously and presents vivid impetus.
The fourth chapter is based on ideological criticism of feminist reading on the Decalogue, which aims to explore the relationship between gender and power. Abstract:
The high Christology and unique pneumatology of John’s gospel has often eclipsed the apostle’s teaching on the relationship of the believer to Christ and the Father through the Spirit in Johannine studies. This dissertation seeks to fill this gap by providing an exegetically-focused treatment of sonship in the Johannine corpus that gives special attention to the role of the Spirit in bringing God’s children to participate in the life of the Son and his relationship with the Father. The central thesis is that John, in a manner distinct from Paul’s metaphor of adoption, presents the sonship of b

A study of the Mosaic tradition in the Fourth Book of Psalms". 2015. http://library.cuhk.edu.hk/record=b6115622.

Abstract:
In this thesis, it is argued that there exists a Mosaic Psalm group (Pss 90-100) in the Fourth Book of Psa
