Between 1869 and 1894 James Crombie (c. 1831–1906) contributed substantially to the literature of lichenology; many of his publications concern additions to the British flora, others are reports on collections of exotic material, and several relate to the debate occasioned by the discovery that lichens are composite organisms. Crombie is, however, remembered principally for his descriptive catalogue of the collections in the then British Museum (Natural History), the first part of which was published in 1894 under the title A monograph of lichens found in Britain. Of the photographers working in Auckland at that time two primary candidates for the creation of this work are discussed, Hartley Webster and John Nicol Crombie with the argument that the former is the most likely. We aim to identify specific operational dimensions of objectivity, those with which current scientist actually work, thus making them accessible for further theoretical analysis

Accordingly, we aimed to estimate the frequency with which non-adherence to medication contributes to hospital admissions.MethodsWe searched the Cochrane Library, EMBASE, Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature, International Pharmaceutical Abstracts and PubMed (until December 2017) to identify prospective observational studies that examined prevalence rates of hospital admissions associated with medication non-adherence.
