Abstract: Agriculture is a crucial profitable motorist. It's a key to healthy biosphere. People depend on a wide range of agrarian products in nearly all aspects of life. growers need to manage with climate change, and meet rising demands for further food of advanced food quality. In order to escalate the yield and growth of crops, the planter needs to be apprehensive of the climatic conditions, hence abetting its decision of growing the suitable crop, under those factors. IoT grounded Smart Farming improves the entire husbandry system by covering the field in real- time. It keeps colorful factors like moisture, temperature, soiletc. under check and gives a crystalclear real- time observation. Machine literacy in husbandry is used to ameliorate the productivity and quality of the crops in the husbandry sector. Use of applicable algorithms on the tasted data can help in recommendation of suitable crop.

Abstract:
The history of husbandry is the history of crises caused by aggravations of food problems. All such crises are largely associated with soil degradation. For thousands of years those crises were regional and were resolved due to inventing of newer husbandry systems. In the 20th century, there emerged symptoms of a global crisis of intensive husbandry caused by systemic soil degradation. This resulted in slowing down of crop yield increases and worsening of the quality of agricultural produce, which were apparent despite increasing inputs in soils. The present paper addresses the types and factors of soil degradation associated with agriculture as they relate to the extensive and intensive modes of husbandry. A soil-preserving paradigm of husbandry is proposed. Soil-sustaining husbandry and it constituents are characterized.

Abstract:
Abstract: The need for increase in food product is needed to feed ever adding world population. The process of contest is that adding of food product with loss of the working labour in agronomic corridor and thus the rising cost through ferocious agrarian interventions is getting a major concern (1). To enable this challenges, smart husbandry may be a ranch operation approach where Internet of Effects (IoT) is employed to beat this concern. Smart husbandry (2) is an approach that shall communicate information and communication technologies as facilitator of profitable husbandry operations. Smart Farming system is noticed as a jigger that specialize in the live monitoring of environmental data in conjugation of temperature, humidity and other types counting on the detectors integrated with it. The model hands over the conception of “ draw and sense “ methodology in which the stoner can directly apply smart husbandry by putting the system in the field and getting live feeds on colorful bias like smart phone, Tablet etal. and thus the data generated via these detectors are frequently fluently participated and viewed by husbandry advisers anywhere ever through Cloud Computing technology integration. This design pave growers to vary themselves from conventional to automated way of husbandry which can beget product of excellent quality of crop yield which will enhance the profit generation. The effigy contribute’s to the general nature and thus the metamorphosis by individual growers isnominal. In the period of food failure this may help us to supply third green revolutions by not modifying the yield but involving robotization in agrarian practices. This paper is the semantic review of the abstract on the smart husbandry with IoT. The major concern of the contest is delivery of the meaningful information in near-real- time. This paper focuses on the platform, network protocols, recycling data and the connection of smart husbandry with IoT to husbandry. The classic access shows the data used in the reactive manner. In moments ultramodern period where technology pave the life, new technological development enables data to over come crop issues and reform the certainty of crop opinion. Therefore, this paper presents the analysis of the effigy of granges operation which bolster the longer term of smart husbandry as a technology which inculcate robotization in husbandry. Abstract:
Abstract The distinctive principles of the resource-saving mechanization system of field husbandry have been substantiated. The essence and peculiarity of each group have been revealed. New innovative processes in the field husbandry mechanization have been proposed. For the environmental conditions of the Kuban, a resource-saving mechanization system of field husbandry, which is based on a scientifically grounded farming system for the conditions of the Krasnodar Krai and a system of machines, synthesized by the authors for the integrated mechanization of field husbandry, has been proposed. In the proposed block diagrams of the distinctive principles in the mechanization system of field husbandry and its resource-saving composition, new approaches to the formation of crop cultivation technologies have been presented, using new effective agricultural practices, new machines for mechanized processes, both serial and original, built according to the developments of the authors. The originality of the authors’ developments is confirmed by many patents, as well as numerous publications in periodical press and defended candidate and doctoral dissertations. Based on production tests of imported and domestic agricultural machinery, advantages and disadvantages have been identified. The fundamental difference between the proposed mechanization system of field husbandry from the basic one, is facilitated by modern research methods. Based on the combination of technological operations, the innovative units have been proposed, improving the technology of field crop cultivation and contributing to the preservation of soil fertility, environmental compliance and reduction of all types of costs. An ordered range of technical means in the system has been proposed: all machines are interconnected in terms of technology and productivity, ensuring the production process stream-lining. The work has been performed in the Kuban SAU. The proposed mechanization system of field husbandry should provide a two-fold increase in labor productivity.

Full text
Abstract:
This doctoral thesis explores the origins and development of Neolithic crop agriculture in the western Balkans from c.6100 to 4500 cal. BC, through archaeobotanical data. The western Balkans is a geographical area comprising of Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and the Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia. The western Balkans is the first area in the westward spread of agriculture into Europe where different maritime and inland routes can be observed to progress simultaneously whilst retaining distinctive cultural signatures. The aim of this thesis is to identify and describe the crop packages, gathered edible plants and cultivation practices between the two streams of neolithisation, and to place them within their wider geographical and chronological contexts. As such, archaeobotanical records from Adriatic Italy, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Greece were also used. Data for this thesis is thus composed of samples from ten sites analysed by the author, in addition to a dataset of 244 archaeobotanical records from published and unpublished Neolithic sites. The ten sites are analysed individually before being added to the larger dataset, allowing for site-specific interpretations to be made. This thesis demonstrates that the suite of crops cultivated by the first farmers to reach Europe was not as restricted as was previously suggested by other meta-analysis approaches. Through statistical methods, spatial and diachronic differences within the crop packages are illustrated, and ecological characteristics of the possible weed flora are used to define past agricultural systems. Both environmental and cultural explanatory frameworks are sought to explain the patterns in agricultural practices, which appear to have been variably influenced by both parameters. Although domesticated fauna are not the focus of this thesis, information on animal husbandry regimes is included wherever possible, with a view to present a more accurate image of the agricultural foundations that defined the Neolithic in the western Balkans.

Abstract:
The aim of this project is to produce new archaeobotanical evidence for the early-mid Neolithic sequence of Çatalhöyük in Central Anatolia, and use it as a basis for investigation into the nature and scale of crop husbandry at a long-living early farming settlement in south-west Asia. The archaeobotanical weed record is here considered the primary source of information on the aspects of crop husbandry indicative of different cultivation practices (i.e. permanence, seasonality and intensity) and crucial for distinguishing between contrasting agricultural systems (i.e. intensive vs. extensive cultivation) Of the thousands of archaeobotanical samples available from the study site, 115 samples from the early-mid Neolithic occupation were selected as archaeobotanically rich and originating from archaeologically well-defined situations (‘primary deposits’). Crop remains dominate the selected dataset and it is suggested that crop processing is one of the major source of the material. Another major taphonomic factor contributing to, and shaping the macro-botanical assemblage is burning of animal (sheep/goat) dung as fuel, as has been documented by micromorphological, and previous and current archaeobotanical analysis of macro-remains and phytoliths at the site. It has been proposed that residues from the two processes (crop processing and dung burning) are mixed in many archaeological deposits, obscuring the distinction between and impeding consideration of the two separate practices. Various analytical approaches are applied and combined in order to ‘disentangle’ arable weeds from dung-derived taxa in the archaeological deposits. In order to determine the stage(s) of crop processing represented by the samples, ethnoarchaeological models and ethnographically-derived statistical methods for crop processing analysis are employed. The archaeobotanical criteria for identification of dung-derived material, supported by the ethnographic information, ecological data and observations from the sheep/goat feeding experiments, are used for recognition of the material arriving at the site via burning of dung. The variability in the assemblage is explored using the correspondence analysis; the patterning revealed the differences between arable weeds and wild taxa deriving from sheep/goat dung, enabling the clear separation of the two datasets. The material identified as deriving from sheep/goat dung offers a basis for consideration of livestock diet, with wider implications for land use and integration with farming. The archaeobotanical weed data are compared on the basis of their ecological characteristics to the modern weed surveys and studies of traditional crop husbandry regimes. The results indicate that crops were grown in fixed plots sown in autumn and managed using intensive methods (e.g. careful tillage, weeding, manuring) implying close proximity of the fields to the settlement. The combined evidence from animal and crop husbandry suggests intensive garden cultivation as the most plausible model for early-mid Neolithic Çatalhöyük. The identified cultivation system has implications for issues such as settlement location, residents’ mobility, crop cultivation productivity and long-term sustainability, as well as social context of farming possibly reflected in the settlement’s spatial organisation.

Abstract:
Limited knowledge about the 3000-year period between the Neolithic and the Bronze Age in central Anatolia, Turkey, prevents any understanding of change or continuity in crop production, consumption and crop husbandry techniques. This research aims to address this bias through the examination of archaeobotanical remains from the four central Anatolian Chalcolithic sites of Çatalhöyük West, Çamlıbel Tarlası, Canhasan I and Kuruçay and the consequent investigation of their crop economies. This work draws on multiple methods and techniques to understand the plant-related activities that occurred at the sites. The four chosen sites bookend the Chalcolithic period (c. 6000-3000 cal BC) and provide the opportunity for exploring the interrelationship between crop choice, crop husbandry, settlement size, surrounding environment and social organisation. Differences in crop species such as hulled barley, glume wheats and pulses, particularly lentil and bitter vetch occur at all four sites with species choice community specific. Multiple methods are used to disentangle the depositional processes, such as dung burning, that formed the assemblages, providing an indication of the origin of the archaeobotanical material and allowing inferences about the nature of weed seeds found. Crop processing activities are evident at all sites, with the dehusking of glume wheat contributing significantly to the archaeobotanical assemblage. The analysis of stable carbon and nitrogen isotopes of crops coupled with the functional ecology of arable weeds, indicate that crop husbandry techniques/regimes were site specific and were influenced by site size/population as well as environmental conditions. The identification of the crops grown and the methods used to cultivate and process them have implications for understanding the social context of such activities, and the broader socio-economic background of a period preceding the great changes in social structure seen in the Bronze Age.

Abstract:
In Late Antiquity, especially between the 5th and 6th centuries, Central Syria witnessed a strong expansion of sedentary settlements eastward, which coincided with a significant agricultural development of these new territories. As for other areas in Syria and Near-East at the same period, a waning climatic optimum seems to have allowed byzantine population to settle down in marginal areas which barely experienced hitherto sedentary occupation and farm nearly unbroken lands.Central Syria is made up of various landscapes, sometimes deeply nested, with contrasted agricultural potential. Settlements and agricultural exploitation are affected by an increasingly significant climatic and edaphic aridity eastward and southward. These conditions, which may locally improve thanks to ecological niches, enabled specific and often complementary substance strategies to develop. In a country whence cities are virtually absent, villages and a few market towns seem to be at the very root of the regional economy. Along with agglomerations, scattered habitats – namely farmsteads and monasteries –, more numerous under heavy bioclimatic constraints, would appear as independent and apparently prosperous economic players.Homogeneous geographic areas led to specific settlement patterns and different economic orientations. Food-producing agriculture remains the rule, but a local productive specialization may be noticed: mainly wheat production and incidentally plantations westward, olive-growing and maybe wine-growing as well in the north-west basaltic plateaus and presumably speculative livestock exploitation eastward and southward, probably mostly due to sedentary populations

Abstract:
An essential element of the Indian frugality is husbandry. Still, India's husbandry is presently going through a structural metamorphosis that's creating a catastrophe. The only way to resolve the situation is to do all within your power to turn husbandry into a successful business and draw growers back to continue growing crops. In an attempt in that direction, this exploration composition would use machine literacy to help growers in making informed opinions about their crops. This work focuses on applying supervised machine learning algorithms to estimate agrarian yield grounded on literal data and the suitable crop depending on meteorological conditions. Likewise, an online operation has been created.

"Economic importance and production of oats: an overview." In II International Scientific and Practical Conference. TSNS Interaktiv Plus, 2022. http://dx.doi.org/10.21661/r-557920.

Full text
Abstract:
Oats are the most important food and grain feed crop in Russia. At present, with the development of animal husbandry and the food industry, the demand for oat grain has increased, which can be used both for feed and food purposes. Its grain contains from 10 to 17% protein, starch - 36.1% fat - 4.7%, ash - 3.2, sugar - 2.35, vitamins B1, B2. Oat grain is highly nutritious: 1 kilogram of oat grain corresponds to one feed unit containing 85-92 grams of digestible protein. Oatmeal is well absorbed by the body of animals, therefore it is used for fattening young animals. Recently, oats have become increasingly important as a food crop and are used to obtain food for healthy, dietary and sports nutrition. In the second half of the 20th century, there was a decrease in acreage, which led to a significant drop in oat production.

Abstract:
In agriculture, according to the data of the statistical collection, the production of grain crops occupies a large part. At the moment, much attention is paid to the study of perennial crops: Gray Wheatgrass (Latin Thinopyrum intermedium), Trititrigia (Latin Trititrigia cziczinii Tsvelev). These crops help slow soil erosion and minimize nutrient leaching. The non-cereal part of cultivated plants is an important reserve for strengthening the fodder base of animal husbandry and expands the range of sources of raw materials for the microbiological industry in the production of fodder proteins. The article provides an overview of technologies and equipment for harvesting grain crops, with the help of which one of the optimal methods of harvesting perennial grain crops, the stripping method, can be distinguished. This method reduces grain trauma and allows harvesting crops in the early stages of ripeness, when the grain contains more nutrients than fully ripe, and the grain has a strong bond with the stem.

Abstract:
An important condition for the development of animal husbandry and the reduction of the cost of its production is the creation of long-term irrigated cultivated pastures that ensure the collection of the cheapest and earliest fodder. At present, and in the future, in the Kabardino-Balkaria Republic, an urgent direction in providing farm animals with high-quality and cheap feed is to increase the efficiency of using natural fodder lands. For the most part, natural hayfields and pastures are characterized by relatively low yields, grass stands of low nutritional value. Intensive development of dairy and beef animal husbandry requires an increase in the areas occupied by the most resistant crops and varieties of annual and perennial fodder grasses, and their mixtures. Long-term herbage, with the correct selection of grass species, the development of appropriate agricultural techniques for their cultivation and rational use, will significantly increase the fodder capacity of natural forage lands and provide livestock farming with cheaper pasture fodder.

Abstract:
The paper is a general review of the agricultural development of Province Heilongjiang (China) in 20002017. This province has a long border with the Far Eastern Federal District of the Russian Federation and its agricultural development is an important factor of the environmental safety of the border areas of Russia. The basis for the review is the official statistical data. We analyzed such indicators as a gross output value of agricultural production, a size and a structure of sown areas, using mineral fertilizers, the agricultural water use, livestock number and products. Multiple growth of the value of most indicators confirms active development of agriculture in Province Heilongjiang in the period under consideration. The analysis of crop farming data showed a strong shift towards production of corn and rice, significant expansion of the sown area, including the irrigated ones, an increase in agricultural water consumption. In animal husbandry dairy farming and the production of wool, honey, and silk cocoons developed in addition to the traditional production of meat products. Spatially, over the past 17 years, agricultural development has shifted towards the border regions (prefectures) with rather large stock lands suitable for reclamation. The comparison of the agricultural data in Province Heilongjiang and in the south of the Russian Far East showed an increase in crossborder gradients for most indicators meaning more intense agricultural development of the Chinese territory. Continuation of these trends in future means environmental deterioration, intensification of ecological problems, growth of the economic and environmental imbalance in the border areas of Russia and China.

Abstract:
The long-term motivation for this research is to transfer useful traits from a broad based gene pool of wild species into the narrow base of a cultivated crop in Cucumis. Our primary focus was to use polyploid prior to fertilization as a tool to overcome fertility barriers in the cross between C. melo and C. metuliferus. In conducting this research, we explored all combinations of tetraploid and diploid parents, in reciprocal combinations. Pollinations were made in both the field and greenhouse, using emasculated flowers, moneocious females, and open pollination by insect vectors, with morphological selection criteria. After observations of thousands of ovaries, we still have no definitive proof that this hybridization yielded viable embryos. The most promising results came from using tetraploid C. metuliferus, as the maternal parent in the interspecific hybridization, that set fruit were seeds contained small embryos that did not germinate. To obtain fruit set, it was important to rear plants in a cooler sunny greenhouse, as would be found in late winter/early spring. A second interspecific hybrid between wild and cultivated Cucumis, C. hystrix x C. sativus, yielded fertile progeny for the first time, while concomitantly working toward our primary goal. Two distinct treatments were necessary; 1) special plant husbandry was necessary to have the wild species produce fruit in cultivation, and 2) embryo rescue followed by chromosome doubling in vitro was required for fertility restoration. Backcrosses to crop species and resistance to nematodes are compelling areas for further work.
