Force regulation at the level of the actin-myosin cross-bridge (XB) can be described by a 2 state model in which the XB's cycle between a strongly bound (SB), force generating state and a weakly bound (WB), non-force generating state. This cycle can be characterized by the apparent rate constants for transition into the SB state (fapp) and returning to the WB state (gapp), Increases in XB force can be accounted for by an increase in fapp a decrease in gapp., or both. While effort towards understanding XB force regulation has focused on the notion that force production is primarily regula

Titin is a giant protein spanning from the Z-disk to the M-band of the cardiac sarcomere. In the I-band titin acts as a molecular spring, contributing to passive mechanical characteristics of the myocardium throughout a heartbeat. It is well known that maximal eccentric exercise induces muscle damage, especially when it is performed for the first time. However, muscle damage is attenuated in subsequent bouts of the same or similar exercise, which is known as the repeated bout effect. One of the factors affecting the magnitude of muscle damage and the repeated bout effect is the number of eccentric contractions; however, it is unknown if different set-repetition configurations with the same number of eccentric contractions would result in different magnitudes of muscle damage and adaptation. This frequently leads to ineffective e-business development and a highly disaffected group of small entrepreneurs. Since the Internet became available for commercial use in the early 90s, the way of doing business was changed forever. The Internet and electronic commerce have allowed people to carry out business by means of electronic communications, which makes it possible for them to do business and to conclude contracts with people situated within foreign jurisdictions. The need for consumer protection in electronic commerce has become necessary because of the misuse of aspects peculiar to electronic–commerce. The cross-correlation technique is an effective means to measure the synchronization of two signals if the relative phases at all frequencies are distributed linearly, that is, there is a group delay. The group delay assumption of cross-correlation analysis imposes an unfavourable restriction on signals with relative phase correlation which varies at different frequencies. Skeletal muscle fatigue is the contraction-induced decline in whole muscle force or power, and can be greater in older versus young adults.
