Adhan is defined as the Islamic call for announcing the time of Salah (practice of formal worship in Islam) which is recited by muezzin at mosques. As an initial step, lexical configuration of Cruse (1986) is explained from lexical semantic point of view. Hierarchy, then is defined which is a set of elements related to one another in a characteristic way according to Cruse (1986). Apparent availability of calcium, magnesium, manganese, copper and iron was significantly (P<0.05) depressed as levels of MO increased in the diets. The well-known Palaeolithic site at Cuxton, Kent (TQ 710 665) is situated on a remnant of Pleistocene terrace deposits of the Medway, which lies on a chalk spur at the junction of the main river and one of its former tributaries (Fig. 1). These deposits have been known as a source of Palaeolithic artefacts since at least 1889 (Payne 1893, cited in Tester 1965), and have been the subject of two controlled excavations, the first by P.J. Few would challenge the view that the contribution made by Cruse to the welfare of the bereaved is a very important one. Much effort is put into the training of Cruse counsellors but little is known about the impact of this training. An assessment of 30 prospective counsellors by means of questionnaires and ‘clinical’ vignettes to assess their knowledge of and attitudes to various matters pertaining to grief and bereavement is reported. While the results are encouraging In many respects, they also highlight areas of ignorance and bias which seem resistant to the influence of training.
