Full textThis research aims to demonstrate the relationship between the Organizational Culture of a company and the Corporate Image, as well as the influence of Culture on the Corporate Image. In order to achieve this objective, a textile company dedicated to the manufacture and marketing of baby clothing was used as a field of study. The work consists of the following structure: Chapter I details the previous studies, basically explaining the theory regarding Organizational Culture, Corporate Image and the Textile Sector in Peru. In Chapter II, the Research Plan is detailed, consisting of the problem, the hypotheses and the objectives. In Chapter III, the methodology used to gather information is explained, while Chapter IV proceeds to the development of the information, explaining the situation of the company and the industry. Chapter V then analyzes the information obtained through surveys, observations or other information. Finally, we present the conclusions and recommendations reached by means of the present investigation.

Full textThe objective of this research was to describe and analyze the elements involved in the organizational culture of a small family business in Lima, taking as a theoretical and comprehensive model the levels of organizational culture proposed by Schein (2004). An ethnographic approach design was proposed that allowed us to obtain a first approximation to the culture of the organization through observations of common practices in the collaborators that were expressed in field notes. Two main categories were found with which the organization's culture can be analyzed: "Order" and "Interactions", which, in turn, were subdivided into more concrete and observable aspects to account for the artifacts and later for the values organizational. The results show contradictions between the discourse of what the collaborators understand of their own organizational culture and what the practice shows, allowing to reflect on the level of the basic budget, proposed by the Schein theory that guides the theoretical reflection of the study.

Expone la sistematización de la experiencia profesional obtenida en el Programa Modernización del Sistema de Administración de Justicia para la Mejora de los Servicios Brindados a la Población Peruana (PMSAJ), órgano dependiente del Ministerio de Justicia y Derechos Humanos (MINJUS) con financiamiento del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) en el período establecido entre julio del 2012 a febrero del 2013. El presente estudio trata acerca de la creación de una marca institucional, de un logotipo institucional así como también el de crear, diseñar y desarrollar un Manual de identidad Corporativa para el uso del logotipo, en un organismo adscrito al MINJUS como es el Programa Modernización del Sistema de Administración de Justicia (PMSAJ).

Full textThe research analyzes the types of organizational culture in a sample of private schools in the city of Huancayo. Differences is examined in the current culture among workers play areas, between the categories of seniority among private schools, between types culture sample of schools, and between current and preferred culture. Also present analyzes a shared perception of the organizational culture. The study used the competing values framework and assessment tool of organizational culture, which is an appropriate theoretical basis for the use of the assessment tool of organizational culture. The research design used is not experimental, transversal and descriptive. The convenience sample is constituted by four individuals and 179 teachers and administrative staff. In this study we have found that there are differences in organizational culture between areas, between seniority, between schools, between types of culture sample, and between current and preferred culture. There is evidence of a shared culture level area, schools, and the level of the sample; and also, a partnership between current and preferred culture. Full textEn la presente investigación se diagnosticó la percepción de cultura organizacional en tres cajas de ahorro del sector microfinanciero de la región Lambayeque, como son: Caja Metropolitana de Lima, Caja de Trujillo y Caja de Piura. Los participantes fueron 60 trabajadores entre las áreas de Negocios y Operaciones de estas empresas. El estudio se realizó bajo el enfoque del OCAI (Organizational Cultural Assessment Instrument), el cual es un instrumento cuantitativo desarrollado bajo el Marco de Valores de Competencias. Este instrumento nos permite determinar cuatro componentes de cultura para cada una de las empresas estudiadas: (a) Clan, (b) Adhocrática, (c) Mercado, y (d) Jerárquica. Este instrumento fue desarrollado por Cameron y Quinn (2005), y ha sido aplicado en más de 1,000 organizaciones en diferentes países. En las tres empresas la cultura predominante es la cultura tipo Mercado. Por otro lado, las mayores diferencias de la cultura actual con respecto a la deseada se dió en el componente Clan, mostrando así que los participantes desean tener una cultura menos orientada a las metas y más al desarrollo de las personas dentro de la organización. El estudio también reveló que no existe una influencia significativa de variables como género, antigüedad y área laboral en la percepción de la cultura. Las conclusiones del estudio ayudan a conocer mejor la cultura de estas empresas a fin de implementar acciones que permitan reforzarla o reorientarla en función de sus estrategias de corto y largo plazo
This research a shows the results of a diagnosis of the perception of organizational culture in three savings banks in the microfinance sector of Lambayeque Region, such as: Caja Metropolitana de Lima, Caja de Trujillo and Caja Piura. Participants were 67 coming from the Business and Operation departments from these three saving banks. The study was oriented under the focus of OCAI (Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument ), which is a quantitative tool developed under the Securities Competency Framework, this instrument allows us to determine four components of culture for each one of the companies studied : (a) Clan, (b) Adhocratic, (c) Market, and (d) Hierarchical. This instrument was developed by Cameron and Quinn (2005) and has been applied in over 1,000 organizations in different countries. In the three companies the predominant culture was the Market Culture. On the Other Side the major differences in today's culture with respect to desired occur in the Clan component, showing that Participants want a culture less focused on goals and more development of people within the Organization. The study also reveals that there is not a significant influence of variables as gender, age and work area in the perception of culture. The conclusions of the study help us to know more about the culture of these companies in order to implement actions to reinforce or change the culture according to their strategies for short and long term

Full textDebido al importante rol de las municipalidades distritales o gobiernos locales en el desarrollo y la economía del país, es importante asegurar el logro de sus objetivos. Para ello debe contarse con el personal idóneo, motivado y satisfecho; es así que se plantea estudiar la satisfacción laboral en tres municipalidades distritales de Lima y Callao. El estudio consiste en la medición de la satisfacción laboral y el análisis de su relación con las variables ocupacionales: (a) Condición Laboral, (b) Género y (c) Tiempo de Servicio en cada una de las tres municipalidades; además de la comparación del nivel de satisfacción medio. La investigación es del tipo descriptiva y correlacional con enfoque cuantitativo, la misma que se realizó en una muestra de 82, 126 y 161 trabajadores de cada una de las tres municipalidades en estudio. Para medir la satisfacción laboral se utilizó el cuestionario “Escala de Opiniones SL-SPC” (Palma, 2005), que tiene cuatro factores: (a) Significación de la Tarea, (b) Condiciones de Trabajo, (c) Reconocimiento Personal y/o Social, y (d) Beneficios Económicos. Los principales resultados son que no hay diferencias significativas en el nivel de satisfacción laboral medio de los trabajadores en cada una de las tres municipalidades y que éste puede considerase Promedio; además, que sí existen diferencias significativas por condición laboral respecto al nivel de satisfacción en sus diversos factores en cada una de ellas.

Full textThe objective of this investigation is to identify and analyze the impact of internal communication on the configuration of reputation within an organization, through the case study of a sugar company on the coast of Peru, from the approach of the organizational culture. This investigation bets on perspective of the organizational study of reputation, which values the internal benefits from having a positive and steady reputation, within the framework of the Theory of Resources and Capacities. As well as the perspective of sociopsycological communication, on the framerok of the Theory of Systems, which brings a holistic vision. To achieve this proposed objective, a mixed investigation was carried out, applying qualitative and quantitative techniques such as surveys, focus groups, the field log and observation; which found that internal communication plays an important role in configuration of the reputation that workers have over the company -which varies according to the working conditions of each group of collaborators- due to it can contribute to the improvement or strengthening, being essential to understand the organizational culture of the institution. Therefore, communication and internal reputation needs to be permanently evaluated, analyzed and managed, valuing aspects such as the importance of active listening, feedback, horizontal communication, motivation and empathy with workers.

Full textThe aim of this investigation was to study the relationship between corporate image and job satisfaction in a group of workers of Lima Metropolitana. To achieve this we used a descriptive correlational design, and assessed a total of 150 employees of both sexes. We used the "Corporate Brand Image Scale" (CBI), and the "Job Satisfaction Questionnaire S21/26”. The validity was analyzed by exploratory factor analysis with Varimax rotation for both instruments. The Reliability was assessed also from internal consistency. It was concluded that both instruments have validity and reliability. The results showed that corporate image correlated positively and significantly with job satisfaction. Meanwhile, the four dimensions of corporate image (Agreeableness, competence, chic, Enterprise) correlated positively with the three dimensions of job satisfaction (functions performed, material resources, and external conditions), showing that the dimension is associated with lower chic magnitude to the three dimensions of satisfaction. Finally, hierarchical multiple regression analysis found that the dimensions of agreeableness, capacity and chic predict job satisfaction tools. Full textThis research seeks to analyze the contributions of the use of recreational resources as an effective internal communication tool in the management of organizational culture. For this reason, through in-depth interviews with a panel of experts made up of professionals in internal communication, education, art and human resources; As well as through the analysis of the application of recreational tools within the management of organizational culture in a private company in the natural gas exploitation and commercialization sector in Lima and Callao, it is seen that the implementation of recreational activities favors the learning of the messages given by bosses, encourages the creativity of employees and improves the work environment. Our documentation of case studies in the city of Lima analyzed the success experiences in industrial companies in the sports, non-alcoholic beverages, cosmetics, fishery and manufacturing sectors that, after activating playful tools in their different audiences, detected important favorable changes in the implementation and management of its organizational culture.

Full textThis work analyzes the internal communication management as an element that accompanies the installation process of a quality management system, in this case the ISO 9001:2015 standard, amending the functional work model of the administrative personnel, in a School of a Peruvian private University, by a process work model. It was noted that, from a survey for heads of academic and administrative units of the School, on their perception as leaders who encourage the application of rules and principles of the quality management system for the organization, as well as in-depth interviews to both authorities and the administrative personnel; aspects in the communications area regarding a set of beliefs and perceptions that have been built among the personnel on the organization and application of the Standard does not contribute to efficiently manage the process work model. Likewise, it is observed that the communication element does not always accompany the management of the organization, which is highlighted and recognized as a fundamental Standard to promote the connection among the elements of an organization to achieve the quality of the offered services. This is affecting the Unit to make it more efficient and aimed at continuous improvement of its processes.
