Abstract:
The article deals with some issues of the development of the historical and cultural situation in the forest-steppe zone of the Middle Irtysh region in the middle - second half of the 1st millennium AD. The authors systematized archaeological data indicating the penetration of the population of archaeological cultures of the taiga into the forest-steppe zone of the Irtysh region. Based on the analysis of archaeological materials, it is shown that the waves of migrations, of which there were at least three over the course of six centuries, created the background that served as the basis for the
