La psicoanalisi ha prestato scarsa attenzione al trauma culturale. Vengono identificati tre fattori che contribuiscono a questa lacuna: a) la persistente identificazione con il silenzio sul trauma culturale da parte dei nostri progenitori psicoanalisti; b) le pratiche autoritarie delle istituzioni psicoa-nalitiche che ci inducono a restare eccessivamente concentrati sulle formulazioni intrapsichiche classiche, fino a escludere quasi del tutto il trauma culturale; c) la difficoltà di lavorare con il trauma culturale. Fare questo lavoro significa "andare controcorrente", e nello svolgerlo ci esponiamo a pericoli in un mondo che ancora pullula di traumi culturali. Gli psicoanalisti dovrebbero essere incoraggiati ad avventurarsi su questo terreno.

- This research project explores the ‘cultural diet' of immigrant children aged 3-6 and the role of cultural mediation played by their mothers in relation to a specific issue which connotes the migration experience of double ‘loyalties' and the double process of acculturation as experienced by ‘first and second' generations from diverse perspectives: loyalty and integration oriented towards the host society and also towards the home country and culture. The project involved a group of 8 Peruvian and 8 North-African Arab women, mothers of children attending the ECEC services in Milan. They were interviewed as favoured witnesses in order to explore the ‘cultural diets' of their children, family choices regarding cultural products such as books, TV programs and new media, toys, games and outdoor activities. On the basis of the interviews, the researchers interpret and reconstruct mothers' attitudes, ideas, choices and emotions in relation the their specific role as ‘cultural mediators' for their children's ‘cultural diets', characterized by double cultural references (host and home culture). More specifically, the ‘mediation action' within an individual's and group's spectrum of nuances aims at finding the delicate balance between assimilation to the new context, protection from undesired elements of the new context and the maintenance of cultural identity anchors from the home country. The data offers thought-provoking themes, opens new research questions and gives meaningful information, we think, for practitioners in ECEC services and schools. It is becoming more and more crucial to recognize and understand the real living conditions of immigrants, cultural attitudes regarding education and upbringing, the challenging complexity of double/multiple processes of acculturation and integration. Immigrant parents, acting as cultural mediators for their children, need to be supported in order to promote the active integration of children within the Italian context, supporting an identity that integrates the cultures of the home and host countries.

Abstract:
La «Rivista del Cinematografo» è un periodico longevo, il più longevo della storia del cinema italiano. Pubblicato a partire dal 1928, festeggia nel 2008 l’ottantesimo l’anniversario di vita. A dispetto di questa durevole presenza nel panorama editoriale italiano, la «Rivista del Cinematografo» rappresenta però una storia che è rimasta, e lo rimane ancora oggi, esclusa dai discorsi sociali. Il pre-giudizio storico da cui prende le mosse la presente ricerca individua invece – differentemente dalla vulgata “ufficiale” – la «Rivista del Cinematografo» non come “una storia a sé”, ma al contrario come una storia culturale in grado di illuminare in maniera significativa i processi storici del cinema italiano, con particolare – ma nient’affatto esclusivo – riferimento alle sue interrelazioni con la cultura cattolica. Si potrebbe dire, con una formula sintetica, che quella della «Rivista del Cinematografo» è una microstoria di lunga durata. Quest’ultima definizione può apparire contraddittoria perché accosta due categorie legate a due differenti tradizioni storiografiche: da una parte la microstoria, legata a una tradizione fattografica; dall’altra la lunga durata, legata a una tradizione teorico-esplicativa. Ma è proprio nell’ambito di una nuova concezione della storia – la cosiddetta storia culturale – che questa ricerca intende muoversi, nel tentativo di fare tesoro di un dibattito disciplinare che ha conosciuto un enorme sviluppo in questi ultimi anni, e che verrà discusso nella sezione introduttiva, analizzando le ricadute che esso ha sulla pratica storiografica in ambito cinematografico.
The «Rivista del Cinematografo» is the most ancient magazine in the Italian history of cinema. Published before 1928, in 2008 it celebrated its 80th anniversary. In spite of this long-lived presence in Italian publishing, the «Rivista del Cinematografo» represents a history left out in social discourses. This research considers instead the «Rivista del Cinematografo» as a cultural history that can illuminate the historical processes of the Italian cinema with particular – but not exclusive – reference to their relationships with the catholic culture. It could be said that the history of the «Rivista del Cinematografo» is a long duration microhistory. This definition can appear conflicting because it puts two categories that come from two different historical traditions near to each other: the microhistory and the long duration. But this research intends to explore a new historical perspective – the ‘so called’ cultural history – with the aim of learning from a debate which has developed enormously in recent years and analysing the consequences that this debate also has on the historical practice in the field of cinema.

La Tesi indaga sulle attività finalizzate a valorizzare i beni culturali materiali e immateriali che costituiscono una risorsa del nostro paese, formalmente molto tutelata, ma ancora poco valorizzata. L’obiettivo è quello di delineare politiche e progetti territoriali e urbani a partire dal riconoscimento del valore dei beni culturali da parte delle comunità locali, e gli strumenti di gestione e di valutazione a sostegno di scelte condivise e fattibili. Le azioni da intraprendere riguarderanno più forme di turismo culturale integrate con più campi di attività sociale ed economica nella convinzione che ciò possa garantire uno sviluppo “sostenibile”, attraverso un equilibrio tra popolazione residente e popolazione turistica e tra i canali di investimento pubblici e privati in più settori di attività economica. Il lavoro si sviluppa in una prima parte indagando le dinamiche turistiche, il significato di cultura e bene culturale, gli approcci finalizzati all'analisi dei fenomeni culturali e termina con l’elaborazione di una matrice e dei relativi indicatori e campi di indagine, sottoposta agli operatori economici circa le potenzialità e le criticità del sistema turistico italiano. La seconda parte descrive l’importanza ed il ruolo di alcuni personaggi del passato e di oggi, che hanno contribuito al miglioramento della qualità della vita attraverso interventi nei settori della cultura e della domanda sociale. Inoltre sono stati affinati ed ampliati i campi di indagine e gli indicatori della matrice, somministrata a più categorie di stakeholders, con l’obiettivo di indagare le differenze di approccio e di punto di vista di operatori privati e pubblici. L'ultima parte della Tesi traccia una proposta di procedura per la programmazione e per la valorizzazione degli attrattori turistici locali, individuando come volano la componente culturale presente in ognuno di essi e le modalità di integrazione con altri aspetti del territorio, con particolare attenzione alle località del territorio italiano meno conosciute.
This PhD Thesis investigates the activities aimed to promote cultural heritage and intangible assets that constitute a resource of our country, formally very protected, but still little valorized. The mission is to delineate urban and territorial policies and projects, starting from the recognition of cultural heritage value by local communities, and delineate tools for management and promotion supporting feasible and shared choices. Actions to be undertaken will concern many cultural tourism types integrated with social and economic activities, because the belief is that all of this will ensure “sustainable” development. This is possible through a balance between resident and touristic population, and through public and private investment channels in many sectors of economic activity. The first part of the Thesis investigates the tourism’s dynamics, culture and cultural heritage’s meaning. This part inquires approaches aimed to analyze cultural phenomena, and it ends with developing a matrix with associated indicators and research’s range, to submit to economic stakeholders to investigate potentiality and critical aspects of Italian tourism. The second part of Thesis describes the importance of some present and past characters who have contributed to improve quality of life, through interventions in cultural and in social demand’s areas. In this part it has been refined the range of investigation and the matrix’s indicators, and the matrix has been given to various groups of stakeholders, with the aim to explore the differences in terms of approaches and viewpoints of private and public operators. The third, and the last, part of the Thesis tries to draw a procedure’s proposal to program and valorize the local touristic attractors, identifying in each of them the cultural component, and how they interact with other aspects of the territory, focusing on lesser-known places of Italian territory.

Questa tesi analizza l’influenza culturale portoghese in Giappone. Si tratta di un’influenza non spesso evidente, ma sicuramente innegabile, dal momento che costituisce il primo contatto tra gli europei e il popolo giapponese, portando a un vero e proprio punto di svolta nella storia delle relazioni tra l'Occidente e il Paese del Sol Levante. Tale influenza è infatti riscontrabile nelle scienze, nell'arte, nella vita quotidiana e, di conseguenza, nella lingua. L’obiettivo è quindi quello di analizzare come queste due culture così lontane tra loro si siano incontrate con degli effetti anche sul piano linguistico. Viene prima presentata la storia del secolo definito "Secolo del commercio Nanban", dall'inizio del commercio tra portoghesi e giapponesi, alla campagna anticristiana. Vengono poi presentati esempi di influenza portoghese, riscontrabile anche oggi nelle arti, scienze e negli oggetti di vita quotidiana. Si conclude fornendo una lista dei prestiti in giapponese dal portoghese e descrivendo il Nippo Jisho, il primo dizionario tra una lingua europea e il giapponese.

Nell'ultimo decennio il processo di sviluppo insediativo ha avuto un impatto rilevante sul territorio della regione di montagna dello Stato di Espírito Santo. Di conseguenza occorre una pressione sull'economia, sull'ambiente e sull'identità culturale della regione. Il contributo di questa ricerca è il suggerimento di uno strumento per il governo della trasformazione del territorio serrano all'associazione per lo sviluppo sostenibile della regione di montagna dello Espírito Santo; un approccio orientato ad utilizzare meglio le risorse del paesaggio culturale della regione per apportare migliorie alla qualità complessiva del territorio Serrano.
The impact of the new rural space developments on spatial quality in the Espírito Santo State mountain region has been intensified in the past decade. It brings pressure to bear on the economy, the environment and the cultural identity with consequences to the health and safety of the region. This research contribution is the suggestion of an additional action programme to the 'Espírito Santo mountain region sustainable development association' ADEMES. A development-oriented approach addressed to make a better use of the Serrana Region's cultural landscape to improve the quality of its changing rural space.

Il progetto vede il suo sviluppo a partire dalla ricerca sul tema dell’interattività tra gli utenti e negli spazi fisici delle istituzioni museali quale fattore chiave dell’esperienza culturale, nel suo frontline e nei suoi servizi di fruizione e promozione. Il percorso progettuale, seguendo le metodologie proprie del service design, si compone innanzitutto di due parti macro-tematiche: la ricerca e il progetto. La prima introduce una premessa alle teorie e alle pratiche della progettazione e dell'implementazione di servizi nell’ambito dei beni culturali, poi delinea la metodologia utilizzata nell’affrontare il lavoro nella sua complessità, e presenta le rilevazioni e le ricerche effettuate per comprendere contesto, attori, utenti coinvolti e si conclude con l’analisi di una serie di casi studio. La seconda invece delinea il vero e proprio progetto: rielaborando gli elementi utili della fase di ricerca sono state definite le basi su cui sviluppare la domanda progettuale, dando origine a due livelli di sviluppo, quello dei servizi relativi all’accoglienza fisica per le istituzioni museali e quello dei servizi con cui ottimizzare ed implementare con nuove funzioni uno strumento già attivo. Questi due asset si concretizzano nell'elaborazione di una strategia decisionale come processo per la definizione dei servizi che meglio si adeguano ad ogni realtà museale e una applicazione digitale quale estensione, sia per funzione ed interazione con l'utente che dal lato gestionale, dello strumento già attivo. L’intero percorso ha come focus l’importanza dell’utente, in questo caso il visitatore e il potenziale visitatore, nell’approccio progettuale di servizi, sistemi e attività di fruizione e valorizzazione del patrimonio culturale e dei suoi luoghi.

Alla luce del recente interesse verso l’insegnamento della lingua italiana all’estero, il presente elaborato esamina la storia della comunità italiana e dell’evoluzione della didattica dell’italiano nello stato del Victoria, in Australia. La tesi presenta inoltre i risultati della mia ricerca sull’influenza dei flussi migratori e delle politiche linguistiche australiane sull’insegnamento dell’italiano nelle scuole, descrivendo come la percezione della lingua italiana sia cambiata nell’immaginario australiano. Tale analisi storica mi ha permesso di formulare una valutazione critica e suggerimenti per migliorare le metodologie didattiche impiegate nei corsi di italiano nelle scuole secondarie del Victoria.
In light of the growing interest towards Italian teaching abroad, the present dissertation investigates the history of the Italian community and the evolution of Italian teaching in the state of Victoria, Australia. I hereby present the results of my research on the history of the Italian community in Victoria, as well as the influence of Australian immigration and language policies on Italian teaching in Victorian schools, highlighting how the perception of Italian language evolved in Australian public opinion throughout history. Based on this historical framework, a critical evaluation of Italian teaching methodologies in Victoria was conducted, which informed my suggestions for future improvement of Italian teaching practices.

Abstract:
Le but de la these est d'etudier la dynamique de la vegetation post-culturale en adequation avec la diversite vegetale dans les ecosystemes des jacheres. L'objectif vise est de comparer la reconstitution de la vegetation des jacheres de trois regions de la zone soudanienne du senegal (senegal-oriental, haute-casamance et basse-casamance) en mode synchrone, en mettant l'accent sur l'influence des facteurs abiotiques et biotiques susceptibles de contrarier cette reconstitution. Les releves phyto-ecologiques, qui constituent la base de l'etude, ont ete effectues sur des grappes de jacheres d'ages echelonnes, au niveau de sites selectionnes dans les trois regions. Du point de vue de la succession, la reconstitution de la vegetation apres abandon cultural se deroule par vagues successives de groupes d'especes chez les herbacees. Les premiers stades sont identiques pour les trois regions et se caracterisent par une dominance des adventices de cultures qui se maintiennent grace a leur stock de graines et aux nouvelles conditions creees par les cultures (labour, sarclage et fumure). Cette premiere vague d'especes est eliminee progressivement au profit d'autres especes herbacees, dominees par des graminees annuelles et perennes, et des especes ligneuses. Dans les trois regions etudiees, la reconstitution de la vegetation de la strate ligneuse dans les premiers stades de jachere se fait essentiellement par l'expression du potentiel vegetatif constitue de souches et de racines. Cette reconstitution est sous la dependance des conditions ecologiques de chaque region, de l'histoire des parcelles (duree des phases de culture et de repos, nombre de cycles culture/jachere, etc) et du mode de defrichement pratique (avec ou sans dessouchage). Les differences de reconstitution entre sites ou entre regions sont dues a des contraintes. Les especes qui resistent aux fortes pressions anthropiques (coupes, paturage et feux) tendent a devenir des especes cles dans un contexte de succession post-culturale dans le cas de cycles a jachere courte. La reconstitution par voie germinative ne prend de l'importance qu'apres 10-20 ans, ce qui montre le role negatif du raccourcissement du temps de jachere, qui est la tendance actuelle. L'evolution de la diversite vegetale avec la duree de la jachere est basee sur les calculs de l'indice de shannon-weaver et de la richesse specifique. Elle montre une croissance rapide de la diversite pendant les premiers stades (1-3 ans), suivie d'une legere baisse, en raison de la diminution progressive des adventices de culture et de leur remplacement par d'autres especes herbacees et ligneuses, en nombre a peu pres egal, au cours de la succession. Seul le nombre de ligneux augmente faiblement mais regulierement au cours du temps. A la lumiere des differents aspects lies a la reconstitution de la vegetation post-culturale de la zone soudanienne du senegal, de nouvelles recherches et de nouveaux modes de gestion pour ameliorer la jachere lorsqu'elle existe encore et des techniques alternatives lorsqu'elle a disparu sont proposees.

The research aims to investigate the forms of change that are affecting contemporary farming in Italy. In particular, the purpose is to identify the forms through which farmers are changing their relationship with the market and with society. In HTML pages the language of the document content is indicated by so-called language tags. The present paper explores the various meanings the primary language subtag can denote within the context of 18th and early 19th century literary Serbian. Particular attention is paid to the status of slavenosrpski. As has been shown before when using ISO language tags, their meaning is too broad for direct application within linguistic analyses. The primary subtags will therefore have to be extended, along the lines defined in BCP 47, in order to arrive at meaningful language tags.

Prezentul articol presupune o revizuire a moștenirii literare a lui Alecu Russo prin prisma modalităților artistice prin care scriitorul valorifică cele mai importante aspecte din programul cultural pașoptist. Este remarcată tendința autorului de a surprinde și reproduce artistic esența „spiritului local” în secvențele descriptive (portrete tipice, individuale și colective, ale românilor, peisaje din spațiul românesc ș.a.) din memoriale și jurnale de călătorie, de a literaturiza folclorul, mitologia, credințele și mentalitatea arhaică în scrierile sale ficționale. Alecu Russo formează, prin ansamblul lucrărilor sale, o reprezentare veridică a idealurilor culturale ale generației pașoptiste care constituiau impulsul procesului literar al epocii, devenit, în timp, o etapă importantă în istoria literaturii române.

În lingvistica actuală a devenit deja axiomatic faptul că fiecare limbă naturală reflectă un anumit mod de percepție/conceptualizare și creează propria „imagine” a lumii. Modul în care emoţiile îşi găsesc reprezentarea lingvistică oglindește un model/grilă de conceptualizare a experienţei afective specifice unei culturi. Or, aceeaşi emoţie poate fi experimentată diferit în două culturi diferite sau în cadrul aceleiaşi culturi, putând fi, deci, obiectul unor variaţii interculturale şi intra-culturale, diacronice şi diatopice. Ca metodologie de cercetare, pentru relevarea specificului românesc al formelor de manifestare lingvistică a afectelor, în cazul de față FRICĂ, am apelat la date obținute din analiza unităților discursului repetat ‒ proverbe și zicători, frazeologisme, expresii românești – care reprezintă un cod al culturii române, pe baza actualizării lor într-un corpus reprezentativ, care include circa 180 de unități, un set de surse „credibile”, relevante şi reprezentative, care să reflecte emoțiile şi modalităţile de expresie afectivă specifice spaţiului cultural român.

În demersul de față autorul ia în discuție practicile de cultură tradițională cu valoare de socializare juvenilă a tinerilor care au atins vârsta maturității. Actualizate în diverse contexte socio-culturale, obiceiurile de inițiere se înscriu în codul normativ al comunității, având rolul de a facilita trecerea tinerilor prin anumite protocoale sociale de integrare în rândul adulților. În majoritatea cazurilor, contextualizarea acestor obiceiuri avea loc în cadrul Horei (Jiocului, Jocului) satului, reprezentată ca o manifestare socio-culturală de anvergură în cadrul căreia își dădeau concursul instituția oamenilor în vârstă (ca sfătuitori și priveghetori asupra îndeplinirii cutumiare a rânduielii pământului) și instituția cetei de flăcăi (răspunzători de organizarea Horei satului și a obiceiurilor de inițiere într-o clasă de vârstă). Literatura de specialitate, pune la dispoziția cercetătorilor fenomenelor etnoculturale mai multe informații referitor la intrarea tinerilor în ceata flăcăilor/feciorilor, în timp ce inițierea fetelor nubile rămâne din anumite considerente, neclare încă, un subiect mai puțin cercetat. Studiul de față reprezintă o investigație mai aprofundată a practicilor de modificare a statutului indivizilor ajunși în pragul maturității și o sintetizare a informațiilor obținute în vederea înțelegerii semnificațiilor celor două scenarii inițiatice pe sexe.

The European Culture Route Fortified Monuments –FORTE CULTURA®– is the European umbrella brand for fortress tourism. It offers useful instruments for international marketing of fortified monuments. The implementation of the attractive architectura militaris of the Iberian Peninsula into the culture route FORTE CULTURA® makes it possible to network this culture asset touristically, make it visible and experienceable on international tourism markets and market it Europe-wide. By implementing a new touristic regional brand “FORTE CULTURA – Iberian Fortified Heritage” the qualified culture tourism will be addressed. In this paper, we explore critical thinking in the context of developing culturally-sustaining historical literacy in Māori and Pasifika students at a large, multicultural university in Aotearoa/New Zealand. Critical thinking and culturally-sustaining historical literacy might seem like an odd couple insofar as critical thinking tends to be associated with liberal Western (academic) culture. Students can resist developing their critical thinking, not least because culturally-sustaining ‘critical being’ is a threshold concept, requiring a flexible, yet clearly structured pedagogical approach. But the development of critical being is vital to culturally-sustaining teaching because of the role the associated skills and dispositions play in supporting cultural autonomy and voice. We talked with nineteen teachers of a range of ethnicities from across the historical disciplines at the University of Auckland to document the pedagogical strategies they used to develop the critical thinking skills of their Māori and Pasifika students in a culturally-sustaining way: fostering peer dialogue that draws on personal experience; practising perspective-taking; drawing on popular culture for its contemporary and cultural relevance; drawing on one’s culture in choosing relevant topics; and creating learning spaces conducive to critical being.

La globalización estética es un proceso en el que las tendencias culturales y artísticas, sin perder sus características y peculiaridades locales, se ven inmersas en el circuito global compartiendo lenguajes, intenciones y espacios. Este arte de la era global tiene como marca histórica inicial la caída del muro de Berlín y previamente el nacimiento de movimientos sociales que reivindican la igualdad entre los hombres y los derechos humanos, como “Negritud” o el “Movimiento de Países No Alineados”. En el arte occidental del siglo XX hay numerosos movimientos que aluden al primitivismo del “otro”. El arte naif, el primitivismo, el surrealismo, el expresionismo abstracto, el informalismo o el art brut, Sin embargo, en el arte de la era global, el giro etnográfico se distingue de estos movimientos por la autoconciencia de sí mismo y la integración de las especificidades culturales. Se ha producido un desplazamiento de los temas centrales del arte, pasando del giro político-económico (la brecha entre el capitalismo y el comunismo) a la identidad cultural. Más sencillamente, se traslada la problemática de lo social a lo cultural y antropológico. Asistimos pues, en la era del arte globalizado y el mundo hipercomunicado, a una desterritorialización de las identidades culturales que se reproducen gracias al reconocimiento y la asimilación de las raíces del “otro”. Los flujos migratorios y los nomadismos voluntarios perfilan nuevas formas de creación y pensamiento manifestándose en una miscelánea etnográfica que puede ser representada en un único hilo discursivo. La figura encargada de generar este significado y conjugar el mestizaje cultural será el artista radicante. Culturemes are the markers of the source culture, which can reach the reader in the target language only through the ability of the translator, who must, in fact, be a great connoisseur of the most hidden cultural details. For the transposition of a foreign culture into a new culture, for a proper communication between them, a loan is needed, retrieval and processing of information so that it is accepted. The motivation behind this study is to provide an overview of how to approach culturemes in the translation of works of contemporary Chinese literature in Romanian, works characterized by great linguistic and extra-linguistic generosity. In order to achieve this goal, we followed the stages of identifying the culturemes from thirty-one Chinese contemporary novels translated in Romanian; followed by creating a corpus based on fourteen categories and five equivalence methods to ensure the cultural equivalence, coherence and homogeneity of Chinese works recreated for the Romanian reader. Finally, we performed an in-depth study of a selection of culturemes from each category, with the aim of showing their distribution in the Romanian translation of Chinese fiction. The study intends to provoke but also to help raise the awareness that translations are not only transpositions (by this we mean moving from one linguistic register to another without operating the text as part of a cultural whole, approaching it externally to all of its sources of influence from the culture in which it has been created) of a work in another language, but they have the primary role of enriching knowledge about one's culture, civilization, literature – i.e. China’s cultural heritage for the present study. Culturally-aware literary translations are the most effective and most stable manner of intercultural exchange, of international prosperity of a culture, of understanding and acknowledging the cultural specifics of one nation. The intertextual references – the culturemes – studied, are part, as will be presented, of all cultural spheres, from those denoting the daily life of the Chinese, the food and basic needs, to those denoting holidays, toponymy, units of measurement, history, but also those that are politically motivated, while also spiritual, subtle, erudite, which only close study, extensive knowledge and diligent work can drive the translator to find and transfer them to the target reader.

Con el propósito de lograr un mejor análisis de la situación de las ICC durante la pandemia, el BID, la UNESCO, la SEGIB, la OEI y el MERCOSUR Cultural aunaron recursos y esfuerzos y se embarcaron en una iniciativa conjunta de análisis del impacto del Covid-19 en estas industrias.
