Abstract:
In this paper, roof-cutting technology of directional energy-cumulative presplitting blasting is taken as the research object. Through the numerical simulation software Ansys/Ls-dyna3D, the process of energy-cumulative blasting and non-cumulative blasting is simulated and analyzed by using the ALE algorithm. Moreover, the evolution processes of tensile strain energy, detonation stress wave of explosives, stress state of rock mass, and rock crack damage cumulative are compared in two conditions. In the energy cumulative state, the detonation wave acts centrally on the hole wall in the energy cu

Enhancement of mining performance is inseparable from blasting improvement. The quality of rock fragmentation by blasting for further processing and manufacture of final products governs the rate and efficiency of adva nce in the mining sector. The analysis of promising approaches to improvement of quality of rock fragmentation by blasting shows that the main way is to use modern physical fields to intensify detonati on processes, for instance, to utilize cumulative effect of blasting. The authors have designed a shaped charge with cumulative effect, which allows making the bench bottom lower

Nanocomposite coatings based on Ti, O, C and H were deposited on aluminium samples by using the cumulative-detonation equipment. The nanocomposite coatings were examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) with diffraction, X-ray phase analysis, hardness measurements and tribotests. It was established that the wear of nanocomposite coatings based on Ti, O, C and H less than to the wear of material of the substrate. Dense, with good adhesion to the substrate, hard, wear-resistant coatings from the powder of Al2O3 were obtained on the surface of the steel (STE255) by using the cumulative-detonation device. The results of investigations of the structure and physico-mechanical properties of the coatings by using scanning, optical microscopy, X-ray phase analysis, microhardness and tribological tests are presented. It was found that optimization of plasma spraying to helps reduce the porosity of coatings of Al2O3 less than 1 % and to increase the hardness of them to 1250 HV0.3. The tribological investiga

Abstract Combined damage of cavitation and abrasion is one of the serious problems that affect lifetime and performance on hydraulic machineries and its components. Thermal spraying as a surface hardening and protection technology is required to protect hydraulic components, such as water turbine and radial flow pump, in general. Detonation sprayed coating with high abrasion resistance is one of the promising solutions as the protective coating against combined damage of cavitation and abrasion under solid-liquid double phase liquid conditions.
