Abstract BACKGROUND: Axicabtagene ciloleucel (axi-cel) is a CD19-directed chimeric antigenic receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy which has been approved by FDA for the treatment of adult patients with relapsed or refractory large B-cell lymphoma (RR-LBCL) after two or more lines of systemic therapy based on the results of the pivotal ZUMA-1 trial: the study demonstrated an objective response rate of 82% and a median overall survival has not been reached after at least 12 months of follow-up (Neelapu et al. 2017), while, historically, median survival of RR-LBCL is 6.3 months (Crump et al. 2017). Abstract Introduction Myelofibrosis (MF) and Post PV/ET MF represents a group of debilitating hematological disorders in which quality of life (QOL) is severely compromised in most patients as a result of persistent constitutional symptoms, progressive cytopenias, and splenomegaly. Conventional therapeutic modalities have largely focused on symptoms palliation rather than cure. Allogeneic stem cell transplantion (ASCT) remains the only potential curative option for intermediate and high risk disease. Till now, outcome data for MF have historically focused on survival benefit. Until now, few st

Abstract Abstract 3085 Introduction Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in patients over 60 years has a poor prognosis with 2-year survival rates of less than 10%. Intensive chemotherapy improves interim survival but not long term cure rates compared to non-intensive care. Allogeneic stem cell transplantation (alloSCT) has the potential to cure elderly AML patients, but most reported studies refer to selected patient cohorts. We have developed a T cell-depleted reduced intensity conditioning (RIC) regimen and preplanned post alloSCT donor T-cell infusion, inducing only limited GVHD directly after all

INTRODUCTION Achieving complete remission (CR) is an important goal for patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML)undergoing treatment with the intent to cure. However, even after consolidation and/or hematopoieticcell transplantation (HCT), many patients will experience disease recurrence. Because of this there has long been an interest in the use of maintenance therapies after the intensive treatment phase to prolong the duration of remission and improve survival and the likelihood of cure. Although the concept of maintenance therapy in AML has been present since the 1960s, it is still a mat
