Abstract:
This paper focuses on the effects on the current account of changes to two distinct components of government consumption expenditures, expenditure on goods and expenditure on hours worked. I find that changes to government expenditure on hours do not directly affect the current account and that their effect is considerably smaller – one order of magnitude – than the effect of changes to government expenditure on goods. These findings indicate that considering government consumption as entirely expenditure on goods can lead to overestimating its role in accounting for movements in the current account balance.

Abstract:
Background: The Internet of Things, similar to wireless sensor networks, has been integrated into daily life of almost everyone. These wearable, stationary, or mobile devices are in multiple locations, collecting data or monitoring and executing certain tasks. Some can monitor environmental values and interact with the environment, while others are used for data collection, entertainment, or even life-saving. To achieve the wireless part of the system, the majority of sensor nodes are designed to be battery-powered. While battery power has become increasingly ubiquitous, it tends to increase the global carbon footprint of electronic devices. This issue can be mitigated by employing some form of energy harvesting so that batteries can be refilled and the gadget lasts longer, but this does not alter the reality that batteries are still used and eventually discarded. Methods: In this paper, the authors emphasise the significance of power consumption in battery powered devices. To be able to monitor devices power consumption, one of the measurable parameters is current. When users know the exact current consumption, they can decrease it by polishing the program or tweaking the duty cycle, making radio transmit less data or less frequently, thus decreasing overall power draw. Results: In order to simplify current consumption monitoring, the authors have developed a testbed facility that provides real-time current consumption measurements, which may be used to enhance the duty cycle and battery life of the aforementioned devices. Conclusions: While minimising total current consumption is a great way to extend the battery life and, thus, the carbon footprint, the primary culprit in the Internet of Things is the radio communications. This transmission is the primary source of current consumption. By determining the exact amount of current drawn during transmission and adjusting it, users can significantly extend battery life.

Abstract:
As global energy consumption continues to increase, the negative impact of global warming also grows. Therefore, eco-friendly energy policy is being established all over the world. Korea’s energy consumption problems are further complicated by the country’s high dependence on energy sourced overseas. Korean energy policy is evolving rapidly to address these problems. Korea has begun to phase out nuclear power and is focusing on developing new sources of renewable energy. So there has been substantial interest in the development of ocean energy. Of all ocean energy technologies, tidal current energy is the closest to the commercialization. Especially, the southwestern coast of Korea is the most promising candidate site for the development of tidal current energy owing to the abundant tidal current energy resource. Meanwhile, ocean energy policy is an important factor in determining the development of ocean energy. Thus, this paper presents the overview of the current status of policy and technology for the tidal current energy system in Korea. These policies explained in this paper can provide significant interest and motivation for the use of tidal current energy resources.

Abstract:
The relevance of the article does not raise any doubts, especially in the context of modern consumption of rhenium. Rhenium is an industrial metal that has gained increasing recognition and is widely used not only in Russia but also in foreign countries, mainly in the form of alloys with other elements, imparting special physicochemical properties to alloys based on wolfram and molybdenum. The most popular alloys with the addition of molybdenum and tungsten are recognized. Adding of a minor amount of rhenium reduces the transition temperature of wolfram and molybdenum to the fragile state and at the same time makes it possible to maintain elasticity at high temperatures. The objective of this article is to analyze the demand for rhenium abroad and its production by analyzing the market for mineral raw materials, by studying reports, literary sources, reports of companies for the production and consumption of rhenium, which are leaders in their field of activity. The article presents the results of the analysis of rhenium global production and consumption.

Abstract:
Dietary habits amongst the Spanish population are currently a relevant cause for concern, as macronutrient profiles and micronutrient intakes seem to be inadequate and globally moving away from the traditional Mediterranean dietary pattern. However, recent food consumption patterns have not been fully assessed. In the present study, our aim was therefore to describe the current food consumption from the “anthropometric data, macronutrients and micronutrients intake, practice of physical activity, socioeconomic data and lifestyles in Spain” (ANIBES) study population by assessing data defined by age and gender. The ANIBES study is a cross-sectional study of a nationally representative sample of the Spanish population. A three-day dietary record was used to obtain information about food and beverage consumption. The sample comprised 2009 individuals aged 9–75 years, plus a boost sample for the youngest age groups (9–12, 13–17, and 18–24 years, n = 200 per age group). The most consumed food group across all age segments were non-alcoholic beverages followed by milk and dairy products and vegetables. Consumption of cereals and derivatives, milk and dairy products, sugars and sweets, and ready-to-eat meals by children was significantly higher than those by the adult and older adult populations (p ≤ 0.05). Conversely, intakes of vegetables, fruits, and fish and shellfish were significantly higher in adults and older adults (p ≤ 0.05). In order to comply with recommendations, adherence to the Mediterranean dietary patterns should be strengthened, especially amongst younger population groups. Therefore, substantial nutritional interventions may be targeted to improve the Spanish population’s dietary patterns nowadays.

Abstract:
This review paper examines the past, present, and future of sustainable consumption and production (SCP). The history of the Sustainable Development Goal No. 12 (i.e., to ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns) is presented and analyzed. A definition of the sustainable consumption is given and the role of education is explained. The present status and existing trends of SCP are introduced by analyzing unsustainable behavior and the existing dilemma, namely sustainable growth or degrowth. A very broad range of methods is used for measuring and evaluating SCP within sustainable development. To forecast the future of SCP, important trends are presented. The future development of SCP will follow several megatrends and it will require reduced personal and collective consumption (degrowth). Energy usage in buildings, renewable energy sources, and energy storage will be important in that respect. Transportation emissions will continue to be lowered. Waste, especially food waste, shall be reduced, and consumer products shall become more durable. All waste must be collected and separated to be reused. SPC is elaborated in view of the two approaches—Industry 4.0 (smart factory), and the “Sixth Wave” evolution. Net-zero greenhouse gas emissions, resource efficiency, and zero waste will be at the forefront of future activities. A circular economy requires extension of product lifetimes, and the reuse and recycling of products. Reducing emissions, pollution and specific energy, water, and raw material usage (especially critical raw materials), as well as the role of digitalization, will be important.

Abstract:
Biopesticides are formulations derived from naturally occurring compounds that manage pests through non-toxic and environmentally favorable means. Being living organisms (natural enemies) or products, biopesticides represent less of a risk to the environment and to human health. Biopesticides, classified into three broad classes, are increasingly used in pest control, and include semiochemicals, plant-incorporated protectants (PIPs), and compounds derived from plants and microorganisms. Because of their advantages for the environment, target-specificity, efficacy, biodegradability, and applicability in integrated pest management (IPM) programs, biopesticides are gaining interest. Although biopesticides have seen significant advances in market penetration, they still make up a relatively small fraction of pest management solutions. Over 3000 tons are produced globally per annum, and this number is rising rapidly. In India, biopesticides account for just 4.2% of the country’s total pesticide market. Although the government has promoted the use of biopesticides by including them in several agricultural programs, biopesticides face numerous difficulties at a local level, but are predicted to expand at an astonishing 10% yearly pace. Under the Insecticides Act 1968, the Ministry of Agriculture in India controls the use of pesticides. Among the major biopesticides produced and used in India are Trichoderma, Bacillus thuringiensis, nuclear polyhedrosis virus, and neem-based pesticides.

Abstract:
Synthetic polymers are important in many branches of industry, particularly in the packaging industry. However, it has an undesirable influence on the environment and causes problems with deposition of waste and consumption. Therefore, there is a tendency to replace the polymer with biodegradable polymer that undergoes a process. This review summarizes the data on consumption, the level of biodegradation, the reliability of commercialization and production from renewable sources. Some biodegradable plastics that have been commercialized are starch based plastics, bacteria based plastics, soy based plastics, cellulose based plastics, lignin based plastics and natural fiber reinforced plastics. Production of this kind of material and its introduction to the market is important for the natural environmental.

Abstract:
Aspects of consumption are becoming increasingly important as the current approach fails to solve manycollective socio-economic phenomena that lead to poverty, hunger and unemployment. There is no doubtthat the current approach is either in the form of concepts, principles, theories or models that have beenused to analyse and understand the discipline of consumption in theory and practice. However, the currentapproach which is based on ‘tasawwur’ and Western epistemology are not suitable to be applied to theculture of the East, especially the Muslim community because of the differences in background beliefs, culture and environment. This reality highlighted the importance of Islamic approach. However, theexisting of Islamic approach is smaller compared to its conventional counterparts. It justifies building anew approach that reflects on ‘tasawwur’, epistemology and the ontology of Islam. Keywords: Hierarchical Consumption, Muslim Consumer, Socioeconomic, Islamic Approach

Abstract:
Introduction: The consumption of added sugars has increased worldwide. To guide and encourage the implementation of public policies on the consumption of nonnutritive sweetener (NNS), it is necessary not only to identify the amount consumed of these products, but also the factors associated with their consumption. Objective: This study aimed to identify the variables related to NNS consumption in São Paulo state, Brazil. Method: A cross-sectional study involving adult employees of two public Universities in São Paulo state, Brazil, was conducted. An online questionnaire was applied containing questions on the use of NNSs and information about demographic, socioeconomic, anthropometric and health characteristics. The statistical analyses performed included: the Chi-square test to determine association between explanatory and dependent variables, adopting a level of significance of p<0.05, and binary logistic regression calculating the Odds-Ratio (OR) (α = 0.05). Results: A total of 1323 individuals took part in the study. The prevalence of NNS use was 53.3%, proving higher among individuals between 30 and 60 years of age (83.3. The Chi-squared test revealed that the variables gender (p = 0.000), Diabetes Mellitus (DM) (p = 0.000), arterial hypertension (p = 0.008), diffi culty controlling weight (p = 0.000), BMI (p = 0.000), income (p = 0.002) and age (p = .000) had a direct and signifi cant association with NNS consumption. On the logistics regression model, the variables signifi cantly associated with NNS consumption were gender (OR 1.3), age (OR = 2.59), DM (OR = 3.32), difficulty controlling weight (OR = 2.29) and consumption of diet foods (OR = 3.87). These results revealed that women are 30% more likely to consume NNS than men and that being aged between 50 and 60 years increases the likelihood of consuming these products by 2.59 times. In addition, being diabetic, having diffi culty controlling body weight, and consuming diet foods increase the likelihood of NNS consumption by 3.32; 2.29 and 3.97 times, respectively. Conclusion: The majority of the population studied were consumers of NNSs. The variables gender, age, DM, diffi culty controlling body weight, and consuming diet foods were all associated with the consumption of NNSs.

Abstract:
In these years, with the continuous development of 14nm and 7nm chip processes and the increasing popularity of computers, cell phones, and smart homes, the growing market of electronic products and ultra-fine research for the reliability of the chip requirements gradually increased. The method of reducing power consumption in the new context of new technology is called the chip field die-cut concern. This paper mainly summarizes two aspects of power consumption sources and methods to reduce power consumption, to provide a reference basis for future research directions: First, the major sources of power consumption are static power consumption and dynamic power consumption. The primary sources of static power consumption are sub-threshold leakage and gate leakage current. This paper also mentions some other leakage currents, such as reverse bias PN junction current and induced leakage current, which can be more carefully considered when exploring methods to reduce power consumption. A more comprehensive consideration when exploring ways to reduce power consumption. Dynamic power consumption is mainly divided into Switching power and Internal power and short-circuit power. Then we summarize the existing methods which can reduce power consumption: Clock gating (including Clock gating without a latch and Clock gating with a latch), Dynamic voltage and frequency scaling, multi-supply and multi-voltage technology, Power gating and multi-threshold voltage. These methods are from a proprietary perspective to reduce power consumption.
