Objective: Scientometric studies of social work have stagnated due to problems with the organization and structure of the disciplinary literature. This study utilized data science to produce a set of research tools to overcome these methodological challenges. Method: We constructed a comprehensive list of social work journals for a 25-year time period and searched for all available article records using 35 different databases. Customized software was developed to restructure article records into a single analyzable database. We then computed the annual journal growth from the database. Results

Abstract:
We present in this chapter an overview of the benchmarks aimed at evaluating the performances of Object-Oriented Databases (OODBs). We particularly focus on the Object-Clustering Benchmark (OCB), which is both generic and originally designed to specifically evaluate the performances of clustering policies within OODBs. OCB is generic because its sample database may be customized to fit any of the databases introduced by the main previous benchmarks, e.g., Object Operation 1 (OO1) or OO7. The first version of OCB was purposely clustering-oriented due to a clustering-oriented workload, but OCB has been thoroughly extended to be able to suit other purposes. Eventually, OCB’s code is compact and easily portable. OCB has been validated through two implementations: one within the O2 OODB and another one within the Texas persistent object store. The performances of two different clustering policies implemented in Texas, Dynamic, Statistical, Tunable Clustering (DSTC) and Detection & Reclustering of Objects (DRO), have also been compared with OCB.

In this chapter, through introducing the deep learning and relation between deep learning and artificial intelligence, and especially machine learning, the authors discuss machine learning and deep learning techniques, the literature focuses on applied deep learning techniques for extracting opinions. It can be found that opinion mining without using deep learning is not meaningful. In this way, authors mention the history of deep learning and appearance of it and some important and useful deep learning algorithms for opinion mining; learning methods and customized deep learning techniques for opinion mining will also be described to understand how these algorithms and techniques are used as an applicable solution. Future trends of deep learning in opinion mining are introduced through some clues about the applications and future usages of deep learning and opinion mining and how intelligent agents develop automatic deep learning. Finally, authors have summarized different sections of the chapter at conclusion.

Abstract:
Digital transformation strengthens the interconnection of companies in order to develop optimized and better customized, cross-company business models. These models require secure, reliable, and traceable evidence and monitoring of contractually agreed information to gain trust between stakeholders. Blockchain technology using smart contracts allows the industry to establish trust and automate cross-company business processes without the risk of losing data control. A typical cross-company industry use case is equipment maintenance. Machine manufacturers and service providers offer maintenance for their machines and tools in order to achieve high availability at low costs. The aim of this chapter is to demonstrate how maintenance use cases are attempted by utilizing hyperledger fabric for building a chain of trust by hardened evidence logging of the maintenance process to achieve legal certainty. Contracts are digitized into smart contracts automating business that increase the security and mitigate the error-proneness of the business processes.

Abstract:
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has developed three related digital libraries providing access to topical and georeferenced information for coastal and marine science: the Marine Realms Information Bank (MRIB) and its two offshoots, the Monterey Bay Science Digital Library and Coastal Change Hazards Digital Library. These three members of the MRIB family run on the same software and share a common database, but they employ different user interfaces targeting different audiences. This chapter reviews (1) distributed geolibraries, the conceptual foundation for MRIB, (2) the modular software of MRIB, permitting the rapid development of customized user interfaces, and (3) the Electronic Index Card (EIC) Creation Utility, encouraging users to contribute new metadata records to the MRIB database. The accompanying discussion addresses several challenges facing digital library developers: providing for scalability in the system; ensuring interoperability with other systems; and meeting the demands of characterizing information while facilitating its search and retrieval.
