Abstract:
An important milestone in the development of the institute of human rights is the adoption in 1948 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which for the first time in history comprehensively enshrined the basic human rights and freedoms, taking into account the natural, political and social needs and interests of the person (individual). The adoption of this very document declared the man, his fundamental rights and freedoms to be the main value. The international community sought to cover all possible spheres of public relations (public and private) that are necessary for a person to function normally, consolidating basic rights and freedoms. It is impossible to deny the importance of this international legal act for the «human family» and each individual. At the same time, we may state that this document was adopted three quarters of a century ago and it does not fully reflect reality, does not take into account the dynamics of the development of public relations, in particular, does not define human rights in the emerging information society, in particular the digital space. After all, even the approach to individualization and identification of the person himself is changing, digital profiles of citizens appear, digital passports and other identification documents are issued, moreover, «cybermen» appear — individuals with subcutaneously implanted microchips (capsules) with NFC technologies (Near Field Communication), containing information, in particular, about personal and banking data.

Abstract:
The number of people who access the Internet has increased considerably over the past decade. The use of the Internet for sexual purposes (Cybersex) has begun to get the attention of clinicians as more and more families are affected. However, to date little research has been conducted to determine how much of a problem Cybersex is. The purpose of this study was to explore the degree to which marriage and family therapists are seeing clients who have had Cybersex related difficulties. A questionnaire was mailed to 500 randomly selected clinical members of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Thirty four percent of the sample responded. The results indicated that most of the respondents are seeing clients with Cybersex issues and the number of clients has been increasing over the past two years. The partners and children of Cybersex users were identified most often as the ones who came for therapy. Those who came with Cybersex as a secondary problem and individuals with Cybersex problems were identified less often. Although most respondents felt prepared to diagnose and treat adults with Cybersex problems, a half felt unprepared to diagnose and treat children. Most of the respondents reported that the required courses they took in College were not helpful in preparing them to diagnose and treat Cybersex related problems.

Virtual Reality (VR) and systems that use its techniques have a recent story from the point of view of their social and practical application. The main idea related to VR refers to the use of three-dimensional environments in which users can explore and interact in virtual worlds and feel immersed and involved. Currently, works that use VR to teaching or conduct trainings are commonly found in literature. In medicine, VR have been used for realistic applications for training of critical procedures. Collaborative VR environments for medical training can allow students to share knowledge or to be assisted by a tutor during a simulation. The objective of this work is to present the process of developing a module for interactive collaboration for the CyberMed, a framework developed since 2004 to help building medical simulations with VR technologies. This module enables collaboration in medical applications with interaction among multiple users. The development of the module consisted on analyzing and defining a protocol for exchanging messages over network, and implementation of some forms of cooperation relevant to medical simulations. The results were a set of classes to support different devices provided by the framework, allowing collaboration by mouse, haptic and tracking devices. Applications were built to validate the module implemented and its integration with CyberMed. In particular, a simulation of the bone marrow harvest procedure was adapted to provide collaboration with touch and force feedback (haptic) among remote users. The integration of this new module enables the creation of collaborative medical simulations with CyberMed that can be used by professionals and students in the training of medical procedures.

Abstract:
Recently, the emergence of a new concept that proposes the integration of the physical world with computing systems, is taking sensor networks to be only part of a collaborative process with a larger goal than just observing the environment. This new paradigm is known as Cyber-Physical Systems, and consists of a network of elements that act between the physical environment and computational applications (Sensing - Actuation - Control - Application), ending in a management system able to group several applications with standalone and distributed operation capabilities. However, to this technology become viable for the diverse contexts of the physical world, it is necessary to consider the limitations of computational elements that compose it, and in this case, these limitations increase when it comes to sensor networks. This thesis focuses on the sensing layer, discusses some of the assumptions aforementioned and defines some characteristics and requirements of the CPS necessary to standardize some processes. It also proposes the development of a platform for sensor networks on Cyber-Physical Systems, a service-oriented middleware capable of adapting the limitations and needs presented later in a use case. As first item: i) The document presents the requirements for these types of systems and approaches relevant definitions. Secondly: ii) It is discussed the layered definition of the CiberSens service-oriented middleware. And third: iii) It is presented the proposal implementation in application-example. From the first item: The CPS are a relatively new field of research, as a result, many aspects need to be defined in order to simplify the understanding of the architecture and implementation. From the second item: The transducer devices have a relevant role on diverse applications used on the fields of home automation and in biomedical applications, the latter with an exponential growth of applications that try to improve the quality of life of patients. In this context, it is necessary a detailed study of the concepts and characteristics that should be considered during the layered design of the management platform for sensor networks in CPS. In the design, the system flexibility should be subject to an easy control and domain by the end user, who will be responsible for the actual functioning of the Cyber-Physical System and the ongoing application. From the third item: In order to eliminate possible errors, identify limitations in the system use by the system actors (user and administrator), and demonstrate the feasibility of the proposal, the modeling and concepts definition are applied in a real case. On this step is performed simultaneously an efficiency evaluation of the protocols capture and abstraction methods in the communication layer, the storage modulus, and the services layer. The evaluation is needed not only to validate the technique and the model used in the CiberSens architecture implementation, but also to determine the reliability the of communication and the effectiveness facing a critical event, validation occurs through the control process formalization, sensing and actuation, with SysML tool.
