Full textThe identification of the middle sized organization as an intermediate firm asks the question of the enterprise's development process. The research of useful concepts in order to help the understanding of the firm's development can be implemented through a transversal approach to the management science, with the using of biological analogy. The evolutionary theory of the firm also integrate the life cycle theory as a level of observation of the organization development. It allows then a better understanding of its components. A model is then developed which study the dynamic relation between age, size and rate of growth of the firm. It is tested on a population of 1427 firms in basse- normandie with the integration of qualitative variables. Different behaviour can be found between growing-stage firms and maturity stage firms

Full textEducation for sustainable development (ESD) is a part of compulsory education in the ″cycle 3″ of primary school in France and its overseas territories since 2004. Due to its environmental dimension, ESD leaves a large part to relationships with territories, and should take into account environmental realities close to the pupils. As a part of the researches on the study of relationships between teaching and contexts, the aim of this thesis is to describe how the contexts are taken into account in ESD in Guadeloupe. Our premise consists in identifying contextual particularities, or more precisely what we call ″objects of context″, which have been defined by actors in sustainable development, in order to highlight contextual dimensions of the teaching of sustainable development on the one hand and pupils’ conceptions on the other hand.In methodological terms, semi-structured interviews with local actors were realized in order to identify and describe these objects of contexts. This is achieved in the second part of the work. The descriptive study of the education system, in the third part of the work, is based on the analysis of the official programs and of the contents of pedagogical projects, as well as on exchanges with teachers of primary school. The fourth part of the work presents the results of a questionnaire survey led with a representative sample of more than six hundred pupils of CM1 and CM2 school years in Guadeloupe. The conceptions of local actors of sustainable developments enable us to identify what we call ″objects of context″. This term, which appeared during the analysis of their interviews, evokes characteristics, features, things evokes characteristics, features, things specific to a given territory.Education for sustainable development (ESD) is a part of compulsory education in the ″cycle 3″ of primary school in France and its overseas territories since 2004. This term, which appeared during the analysis of their interviews, evokes characteristics, features, things evokes characteristics, features, things specific to a given territory..The pupils have a contextualized design of the SD, which they understand more in their social than in their school practices. They perceive the local issues of the SD and are able to distinguish them from those of mainland France. In this sense, they have some knowledge of Guadeloupe they build by the observation of their concrete environment, from different criterions to those of the school. Their answers show the weak impact of teaching related to SD on their knowledge of environmental phenomena and even on the level of ecology. As a conclusion, and surprisingly, the objects of context appear in a strong and close way in the conceptions of social actors and those of students. However, if the educational system seems to grab those objects, particularly through SD projects, the effect on the construction of knowledge, linked to SD issues, based on the contexts of Guadeloupe, seems to be small

Full textAn analysis of the part played by the literary device of character splitting in the development of the threee novels in letters published by restif de la bretonne between 1775 and 1787. Through the doubled characters, and as early as 1775 in the perverted peasant, the author develops a critical approach, in opposition to the tendancy towards idealisation of the hero prevailing during the revolution and empire. In the perverted peasant girl, the device of character spitting is used to reconsider the relationship between sexes at the end of the enlightenment. The feminine point of view appears in the description of vices engendered by urban life and the evolution of ideas based upon current themes such as the arrival of a peasant girl in town, abductions and their consequences, virtue in vice, the dangerous ideas of libertines or the infernal cycle of revenge. Comparing letters from the perverted peasant and peasant girl or dangers of the town highlights the confronting narrations. The feminine point of view is like the mirrored image of the first narration; it reveals its breaking down points and its richness, thus justifying a typology of character spitting. The preseance of double in the work of restif allows a description of the "mimetic desire", but also reveals the psychic processes of identification and detachment by means of which the writer asserts his identity in the face of the social transformations which marked the end of the eighteenth century

Full textThis research report deals with the subjects of the extension of foreign investments into emerging countries. the particularity nowaday is the internationalisation of strategic activity such as R&D. Many inquiries can be rise since, multinational technology activities are not anymore limited to simple adaptation activity. Emerging countries like China are emplementing their own technology trajectories, so as to attract more and more foreign R&D. This has to do with a change in the behavior of the foreign multinational because the conventional model not only cannot predict the internationalisation of R&D into emerging countries, but even when it does so, it assumes that the suitable technology activies into emerging countries are those limited to adapt home technology. I explain foreign multinational behavior by extending HEWITT (1981) model of internationalisation of R&D. I found that most of the R&D going to emerging countries is for development and adaptation. But the question still remains to know why some multinationals are extending their innovative activities into emerging countries and create regional innovation hubs (choosing one country to play the role of main regional innovation hub). I assume that multinational are both technology exploiting and technology explorer, their motivation are more than sharing their technology with emerging countries, but they aim at exploring technology opportunities in other for them to differentiate and innovate and stay a breath of what the competition is doing. In this part the research all the statistics and indicators show that China is playing the leading role with a technology trajectory above those of the three others countries. This seems to explain why China instead of India is the most attractive destination of foreign investment in production and in R&D
